Brak kanap lub puf - wygodnego miejsca do posiedzenia. Lodówki zbyt małe i zawalone starymi rzeczami. Metalowe umywalki w pokojach były bardzo głośne. Pod prysznicem tylko deszczownica, brak normalnej słuchawki. Bardzo głośne klimatyzatory w pokojach. Brak klimatyzacji w przestrzeniach wspólnych.

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026The room and bathroom were very clean when I arrived, and check-in was quick and hassle-free. The breakfast wasn’t too bad either, especially considering it was only €6. The receptionist in the morning was also kind enough to arrange halal turkey for me when I asked. Thanks and bravo for that! The location is great, as it’s close to the city centre and most of the main tourist attractions are within a 15–20 minute walk. For the ones that are a bit further away, they were easily reachable by bike in no more than 30 minutes using the BiciMAD bikes.
I had some trouble sleeping at night because the air conditioning in room 15 either wasn’t working properly or was set too low. I had to go to reception twice to complain about it. It did improve afterwards, but the room was still quite warm and I was still sweating at night. The rating loses 2 points because of this as a disturbed sleep left me with a headache for the rest of the following day, otherwise it was a 10.

If you book a room for 4 , THE SINK IS INSIDE the room which is sooo so uncomfortable as everything is audible to the person sleeping. Nights were cold and they didn’t even give any blanket and said they didn’t have it, staff is not welcoming at all. So if you want a calm place to stay this is not an option, I will not advise!

Reviewed Aug 22, 2026It's in a great location, close to everything but on a quiet street which is rare. I've chosen this hostel whenever I'm in Madrid if I'm looking for a good night's rest. Guests are usually quite respectful and considerate. The staff are always very welcoming and helpful, (like Olympia 😉 who was an absolute star)
Sadly some of the facilities haven't been updated over the years. The bathroom needs shelves in the dressing area to put other items besides hooks for the towels, especially in the women's dorm. I'd hate to see this great hostel become run down so I hope on my next visit there are some updates.
