Die Lage ist perfekt, der Louvres in Gehdistanz, metro auch. Viele Restaurants ganz in der Nähe

Für 300 Euro die Nacht habe ich mehr erwartet. Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen, Klimaanlageabdeckung fehlte, Kabelabdeckung im Bad defekt, defekte Bodenplatte, auf die ich ein Frotteetuch legen musste um mich nicht zu verletzen. Der Herr an der Reception sprach kein französisch und mein Englisch reicht nicht aus, dies zu schildern. Frühstück gabs ab 7 Uhr, aber es hatte kein Brot. Das komme erst später, hiess es auf meine Nachfrage hin.

The location was the best thing about this hotel.

When I arrived at the hotel to check-in, I was told that I would have to pay cash as the card machine was broken. I was not allowed to check-in until I paid with cash. This is a bit stressful after I had been travelling most the day. They was not even considerate about it, so I had to go find a cash machine and draw out 1000 euro in the middle of Paris, so that I could check-in, not very convenient at all! The room was tiny and the bed (supposed to be a double) was two single beds pushed together. The mattress was too firm and the pillows were very uncomfortable. The TV was very dated and I could see stains on the walls and on the carpets. The breakfast (14euro per) was shocking. There was a toaster but no bread to toast, no bananas or fried eggs. It was very effortless to say the least! Myself and a friend would actually purchase items from a convenience store so we had something we could eat for breakfast.

Proximity to Chatelet Metro, Louvre and Night Big bus Tour stop. Also, several choices of good, reasonable restaurants and cake shops, even a mini supermarket.

Formal Complaint Regarding Our Stay at Hotel 85 I would like to formally report the extremely disappointing and distressing experience we had during our stay at Hotel 85. We arrived at the hotel on 17 August at around 11:30 AM and left our luggage at the hotel before going out. We were kept waiting regarding our room, so we left the hotel and returned later when we had more time to properly inspect the room. When we returned and checked the room in detail, we were shocked to find that the toilet was completely blocked and covered with urine. It was clearly not properly cleaned before we were given the room. Until the toilet was cleaned, we were unable to use the bathroom in our own room and had to leave the hotel to find a café where we could use the toilet. This is completely unacceptable for a hotel room that we had paid for. Unfortunately, the situation the following evening was even more unbelievable. At around 11:00 PM, we returned to the hotel, but our room key card would not open the door. We went down to reception, where we were told that someone else was staying in our room. We were completely shocked. All of our belongings were inside that room. We had made the reservation through Booking.com, had clearly indicated our stay dates, and had already paid for the accommodation. Our check-out date was 20 August. The hotel staff then told us that the previous receptionist had made a mistake and that this was somehow related to Booking.com. Instead of taking responsibility for the situation and resolving it themselves, we were told to deal with Booking.com and were eventually directed to another hotel. This happened at around 11:00 PM, with my 12-year-old daughter, who was already extremely tired after a long day. We were left waiting at the reception late at night because of an error made by the hotel. It is extremely difficult to believe that we were put through such a situation. We cannot understand how a hotel could first give us a room with a block

Overall great just slightly outdated but great value

Het hotel is echt oud en dat zie je aan de vieze doucherandjes, de waterkoker waarvan het deksel kapot is, het koelkastje dat niet werkt etcetera. Alles is sleets.

Je trouve sur mon compte 2 avis de prélèvement sur mon compte (110€ daté du 08/09 pour l’un et un autre de 149,06€ daté du 10/09 qui a doit correspondre au moment du complément de paiement du petit déjeuner pour 2 personnes). Je pense que l’erreur vient du second prélèvement qui n’aurait dû intégrer que le coût du petit déjeuner. Pouvez vous m’aider à clarifier ce point?

Det var väldigt centralt och personalen var supertrevlig.

Det luktade rök( i hallen/korridoren) så fort man gick ut ur rummet. Det var städat på rummet men det var svart mögel på munstycket i duschen.

The location was fantastic - right in the heart of the 2nd Arrondisement and close to major attractions.

We got the ground floor double queen room (one was a pull out bed) which was disabled-friendly. Room was decent but old and not on the best condition. Wifi wasn’t the best.

The location was close to 2 different Metro stations. There were many nearby places to eat, making it convenient to find a dinner spot. The hotel included breakfast with many choices, which was a good feature. It was very walkable to many key places: the Louvre, Notre-Dame, d’Orsay Museum, & the Seine River.

The rooms & baths were very small, but it was OK for me with my granddaughter. The rooms were pretty close together also.

Wir hatten zu 4. ein sehr kleines und beengtes Zimmer, mit kaum Stauraum. Zudem lagen Socken von den Vorpersonen neben dem Bett. Der Innenhof hat sehr heruntergekommen ausgesehen. Die Dusche war offen und direkt neben dem WC. Nach dem Duschen musste alles getrocknet werden, egal wie sehr man versucht hat nicht das ganze Bad mit zu wässern. Das Zimmer war sonst sauber, aber die Fugen im Bad waren stellenweise braun. Es wäre für uns wegen der Lage OK gewesen aber der Preis war definitiv nicht angemessen dafür. Deshalb die negative Bewertung.

Upon arrival the desk manager wasn’t very friendly. The other staff at the desk later on we very friendly The floor tiles in bathroom were coming loose!

The hotel has the best location for us - close to the cosiest areas of Paris. The room was small, but nice. The breakfast was good and had everything we needed.

Great location - easy walk from hotel to Le Marais and the Louvre, and less than 5min walk from Les Halles station (if you are coming/going from/to CDG airport) and Chatelet (if you are coming/going from/to Orly airport). Staff were very helpful. Room was small but very comfortable and clean, and perfect for a solo traveler. Loved opening the windows onto view of Rue Saint Honore. There is a lift in the building. Breakfast is underground in a room that resembles a cave - very intriguing!

the hotel was located in a very strategic zone it was clean and has everything we need the water in the shower was a little cold they have a great luggage storage service which allows us to explore the city on the day that we made the check out

Personnel absolument pas a la hauteur… Quand je suis arrivée a plus de 19h (signalé sur booking), la chambre n’était toujours pas prête et j’ai du attendre environ 3/4 d’heure avant que ma chambre soit prête! Je ne trouve pas ça normal d’autant plus que les heures de check in normales tournent autour de 15h.. il devait donc y avoir largement le temps pour préparer la chambre avant une arrivée a 19h.. De plus, je me suis retrouvée dans une chambre avec 2 lits simples alors qu’il était précisé sur ma réservation qu’il s’agissait d’une chambre avec lit double. Lorsque j’ai appelé le personnel pour qu’ils me remettent dans une chambre en adéquation avec ma reservation cad lit double, on m’a répondu qu’on “ne savait pas quoi me dire et qu’on ne pouvait rien faire” pour moi et que je devais attendre le lendemain matin pour régler ce problème (je ne restait que pour une seule nuit… et je le leur ai rappelé mais cela n’a rien change à la prise en charge et le problème est resté le même). Cerise sur le gateau, j’ai oublié un produit cosmétique dans la sale de bain en partant le lendemain : impossible de le récupérer malgré le fait que j’ai appelé l’hôtel tous les jours qui suivaient et plusieurs fois… J’ai quitté l’hôtel a 9h le tain pour un check out habituellement prévu pour 11h, mon premier appel a été passé a 15h et déjà aucune réponse concluante. D’après la réception, il aurait été pris par l’équipe de nettoyage mais l’équipe n’a fait que se renvoyer la balle, résultat : impossible de remettre la main sur ce qui m’appartient. Ce n’était pas un produit d’une énorme valeur mais je dois reconnaître que ce manque de professionnalisme et l’expérience générale me force a dire que cet hotel ne vaut malheureusement absolument pas son prix.. une déception totale !

Location here is quite amazing walking distance to most of the attractions :) was perfect for us. Staff was friendly and attentive. Very lively street and even a street fair right out front on Sunday. Pleasant surprise!

Locatie was perfect en dicht bij alles; metro, een grote shopping centrum, mooi park, cafe'tjes, de Louvre,... .Badkamer van 1 van de 2 kamers die we hebben gereserveerd was goed. 2 van de 3 personeels waren heel sympatiek.

Isolatie is niet zo goed maar ook niet te slecht dat je niet kan slapen van de lawaai (kan anders zijn voor ieder persoon). Badkamer van de 2de kamer was minder goed maar niet te slecht. Personeel: 1 van de 3 personeels was een beetje droog en gemeen, maar in het algemeen waren ze wel allemaal behulpzaam.

Very close to tourist attractions, with extremely easy transportation access.

The heating system wasn’t working in the room where I stayed, but the reception staff provided me with an electric heater. The windows were old and didn’t seal properly, which made the cold air come in even more

Great location. Close to Louvre, Seine, Le Marais and La Rive Gauche.

The staff were all very friendly and courteous. That made the stay quite pleasant.

The room was very clean and efficient. The only thing that comes to mind is the bathroom fixtures; they could use a little maintenance.
