Lumbini Luxury Villas and Spa

I think this hotel would've been amazing a few years ago but now it's looking a little tired. The level of luxury in Bali is going higher and higher in resorts and it's important to keep up!! I really liked the villa layout with our own pool and the outdoor kitchen with water dispenser. I loved the bikes we could ride around on and the day beds by the pool. The resort gardens are gorgeous and lots of fruit trees and frangipani trees everywhere which are gorgeous. Even one in our villa so we had beautiful flowers everywhere!

Our room was dirty and I don't want to make this a problem for the housekeeping staff because they are fab and anything we reported was dealt with straight away! But I think this is something higher management really need to consider to raise the level of this property. We had a twin room with a little separator pillow between the beds, and the cover on the separator was visibly dirty. In the bathroom you get 2 x bottles of water but one had already been opened when we first entered the room and had all condensation around the top where a sip had been taken already. The reception replaced it after we asked. The bathroom generally is so tired. Shower is grotty, shower head full of limescale and most of the holes don't release water, walls are dirty and cracks everywhere. It's an outdoor shower so there's obviously more open to the elements = more dirt but it had obviously not been deep cleaned in a long time and it makes me worry about how much time the housekeeping is actually allocated per room. This is something higher management really need to consider as the resort is HUGE and so many rooms and villas to clean and I appreciate that a small housekeeping can only do so much per day. They definitely need a bigger team and more time to care for each room. You need the housekeeping manager to do a thorough check of the rooms because our villa was not really a luxury standard you'd expect. A refresh and deep cleaning standards would improve this property a lot!! Location is near to the airport which is great! But the street outside is not really somewhere nice to visit as a tourist. There's an ATM and a mini mart but other than than I wouldn't recommend walking anywhere. We were able to catch the shuttle bus one day into Jimbaran Beach but the fact you have to book min 1hr in advance was quite a barrier in our trip so most of the time we'd just book a grab if we needed to go anywhere.

Beautiful Villas in a peaceful resort. Buffet breakfast was great. Room service menu and food was excellent. Loved the gym and free bikes to ride around. Staff were always smiling and accommodating. We had a fun and relaxing stay.

Everything was perfect, some light music in the gym would be nice.

Место хорошее, можно пешком до пляжа дойти. Останавливались на неделю, что достаточно много для такого места - все же дороговато выходит на неделю, почти все кого мы видели, были на 2-3 дня. Есть своя небольшая территория, ресторан, цены вменяемые.

Не комфортно для работы - спальня закрытая, а вся остальная территория и кухня-гостинная полностью открытые. Комары вечером покусывают на такой кухне. Индивидуальный бассейн скромный, но есть большой общий бассейн в 1 минуте ходьбы от любой виллы.

Once you walk in there is peace from the main road, lovely villas, enjoyed the ease of the morning buffet breakfast and the convenience of the gym followed by a swim.

The private pool facility was amazing and the villas are spacious! Would highly recommend.

I think the breakfast and the toilet area in the villas could be improved as it’s open to outside so there’s a lot of insects and mosquitos!

Les villas sont top, belle piscine privée. Le personnel est présent et le transfert pour l’aéroport est appréciable. Les restaurants de poisson en bord de mer.

Le petit déjeuner, pas trop de choix dans les café en plus il est extrêmement fort, viennoiseries sans goûts, jus industriel, heureusement y’a les œufs qu’on peut commander, des fruits. Le quartier n’est pas terrible, pas loin de la plage mais difficile pour les piétons, pas de passage piétons et pas de feu rouge.

The staff were amazing, from reception, dining, cleaning and guys who help you across the road. Just lovely people. Pool was perfect, huge comfy bed. Lovely kitchen / dining area. Breakfasts were great. Loved they even prepared Breakfast when we checked out at 4am. Very thoughtful. Lovely area to stay. Shuttle service was great as well. So handy.

The plug socket coming out of the wall, thankfully no wires but nothing was done about it. Toilet needed cleaned on the connection from lid to bowel and toilet holder wiped down. Tap in bathroom was loose. I think some updates are needed. I think having a shower in the wet season would be strange as it's open.

Very good service. Lovely people.

Some facilities were a little mouldy or just a little run down. However the rooms were very clean.

Location. Big private pool. Nicely laid out. Convenient to Jimbaran beach.

A bit run down in parts. Needs some refresh. But lots of room in each private space.

We appreciated the hospitality and communication of the staff. We enjoyed private and intimate villa. We liked the free shuttle services that allowed us to explore other beaches as well.

La struttura si vede che non è recentissima,i bagni soprattutto (almeno quello della villa dove ho soggiornato) andrebbero rifatti. L’hotel si affaccia su una strada trafficatissima e molto rumorosa dove è impossibile camminare a piedi per andare alla spiaggia perché è pericoloso:bisogna per forza prendere un taxi. La colazione è mediocre per essere un hotel luxury .

Villas are beautiful and spacious. Pool larger than expected, great water temperature and good outdoor seating options. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Jimbaran beach only a few minutes walk away. Fantastic value for the stay.

Compared with previous reviews I would say breakfast was quite limited. Very few vegetarian options in the restaurant (unless you want pizza/pasta, but this was also reflected in places outside the hotel so not specific to here). The gym cardio machines are incredibly old and some unusable (I did specifically come here as I needed the gym but had to adapt a bit). No stretching/yoga mats or towels/water offered in the gym which could have been cleaner. They have lounge and shower areas if you are checking out later, however, with a few improvements this could be a great facility/option. The showers had no hot water (but they did kindly arrange for us to use the spa). There were no amenities or towels available. Overall a great hotel and the villa was excellent, especially at the price point. I would only rate it down based on facilities outside of the room.

I loved the villas, relatively quiet. Well maintained, spacious villa and garden. Loved the staff and attentive reception who were very helpful. Looking forward to my next stay. The food was also excellent.

Not much. The location is great for being close to airport and arriving late at night is a quick drive. But not a lot around there. Not touristy but more if a local area. The beach and restaurants are not far away.

Absolutely fantastic villa and resort. The staff are smiling 24/7 great bunch of people. Room service not a problem and quick. The food in the restaurant is really nice and reasonable prices - tasted and presented beautifully. Size of the villa and pool area was brilliant for us. Would 100% return.

Très bel hôtel avec de bonnes prestations, qui mériterait toutefois un rafraîchissement pour être encore mieux. Le personnel d’accueil et de transport pourrait également être moins froid et davantage à l’image des Balinais : souriant, prévenant, serviable et tellement gentil.

Le service de transport gratuit jusqu’à la plage est proposé par l'hôtel avec dépose directement à l'intérieur d'un restaurant de poisson très mal noté et hors de prix pour Bali. On comprend très bien l’intérêt du chauffeur ou de l’hôtel : inciter les clients à consommer dans ce restaurant plutôt qu’un autre. Les moustiques alors que nous n'avons jamais été dérangés dans les autres hôtels.

Fantastic complex . Great value for money with all the amenities you need .

The villa was spacious and kitchen adequate. The bathroom was an indoor outdoor shower. The bed was very comfy. Staff were helpful and any requests was immediate. Housekeeping was good. Good pool but needed a good clean. It did have a very good fridge, nice and cold and ice in a couple of hours.

The whole property and villa is showing its age. The toilet certainly is showing its age. The pool needed a good scrub. The breakfast is a buffet but everything was only warm if you were lucky.

Liked the gardens, generous size of the villa, pool and outdoor area. Had a calm and relaxed atmosphere. The one way free shuttle service was a bonus.

Sadly the villas were lacking basic maintenance, plumbing leaked was rusty and sinks and bath mouldy.

The villa was beautiful, spacious, and exceptionally clean, offering a peaceful setting that made it easy to unwind. We especially enjoyed the private pool and the relaxing atmosphere it created, along with the warm, accommodating staff who made our stay feel even more welcoming.

A few areas could benefit from light updates, and although the property is a bit distant from shops and restaurants, we still thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The closeness to the beach was great, the pool was big and clean, and the motors kept running at night so one could swim at night. The breakfast was also delicious and varied.

I think the hotel is a bit old, and as a result, many things are worn out and, at least in some areas, dirty. The couch was not usable because of how dirty it was. The sun loungers by the pool were also atrociously dirty. When we asked for a solution, they could not offer us replacements and instead gave us towels to put on the loungers. This was a relatively good temporary solution, but still rather mediocre. The tap water in Bali is naturally not suitable for drinking, but the water at this hotel also had a strong smell of rust, which was quite unpleasant. The jacuzzi was dirty as well. The day before our check-out, the receptionist asked us what time we would be leaving so that someone could help us with our luggage the next morning. However, no one came at the agreed time. They also needed to check the room before we left, so we waited at the reception without receiving any information from the staff. We eventually had to ask whether the room had been checked.

The four bedroom villa was amazing. Cleanliness could be much better. Little far from activities but overall okay.

We loved our private villa - it was extremely spacious, kept beautifully clean, and the pool was gorgeous with a lovely water feature. There were frangiapani and palm trees in the villa too that were beautiful. The bed and sunlounger were very comfortable and the bathroom was gorgeous. We also loved the breakfast each morning and used the gym and spa most days which were fantastic. Thank you for an outstanding holiday!

Belle maison avec belle piscine. Le personnel est agréable et efficace. Il y a également 2 autres grandes piscines pour tous le complexe ; mes enfants ont adoré en profiter également. Le buffet petit-déjeuner est très varié, il y en a pour tous les goûts. Lors de départ tardif, il est possible de déposer nos valises à la réception et de profiter du complexe en attendant notre départ à l'aéroport ; des serviettes de piscine propres sont fournies, je les remercie pour ce service qui a été grandement apprécié.

Der Pool und die Bungalows waren geräumig

Das ist kein Luxus Resort. Die Anlage braucht eine komplette Renovierung insbesondere die Bäder und Fitnessraum. Das Frühstück und Spa sind sehr enttäuschend. Es ist kein 5 Sterne Niveau. Der Lage ist nicht schön.

Very peaceful and tranquil, so lovely to have our own space. Large room, amazing bath tub and bathroom. Service was friendly and prompt. Great location, nice and close to local BBQs and shops. quick drive to Jimbaran beach, but could also walk. The bikes are a great idea! Maybe just keep up on maintenance of them, as both times we used them, the seats were broken or just holding on....

No shelf or surface to put your things in the outdoor shower. As we had an early check out, we did organise for the buggy to pick us up from our room with our luggage as we were at the very back of the property, but they never showed up and we had to walk with our bags, not a big issue, but wouldve made the last moment of our stay perfect.

The villa was amazing. So big and spacious, huge pool, kitchenette, beautiful bathroom, netflix on tv, comfortable bed.

I didn't love the buffet breakfast. Mostly noodles and asian food which is not something I would usually have. I wish there was a bit more variety. The gym was also unusable, and I wish there was an outside bar right near the pool.

Good for a few nights

Villas and all hotels should provide a water dispenser. This would immensely help with the pollution each day that is contributed by a tourist. Please invest Also on a busy road.

The restaurant was a bit of a let down.

Najlepsze według mnie w tym obiekcie to roślinność, która jest w środku oraz charakter samego resortu. Basen przy willi jest fajnym dodatkiem.

Ogólnie widać, że resort lata swietlnosci ma juz za sobą. Wille wymagają odświeżenia. Śniadania niestety także nie powalały. Mimo że hotel na mapie położony jest blisko plaży to żeby się na nią dostać należało przejść przez ruchliwą ulicę, następnie w prawo 200-300m a następnie w lewo, 500m do plaży.

„Wasserfall“ beim Pool konnte nur vom Personal ein-/ausgeschaltet werden. Zimmerservice/Essenslieferung hat sehr lange gedauert und war nicht mittelmäßig vom Geschmack

I’ve stayed here a couple of times and it’s always so lovely. It’s a spacious villa, and the private pool and cabana is such a bonus.

Absolutely 💯 loved our Deluxe 1 bedroom Villa. Will be booking in here for our next stay definitely for the whole stay, wish we had come here for the full duration of our time in Bali.

Nothing major, just general feedback, the Menu could be changed every few days or more variety added,we ate in every night. Meals were nice. The bed is quite hard and lumpy but ok, and it would be good to have a pillow choice, but again ok, it's not going to deter us from coming back. Bikes need upgrading, can't put the seat up for a tall person as it slips straight back down and the pedals slips, but it's a really good idea. Brekky was great, good variety. The staff were fantastic throughout our stay, so helpful and pleasant.

We loved the apartment, the privacy and the beautiful gardens. The shuttle to Kuta, Nusa Dua and Jimbaran beach was an added bonus.

Heni at the front desk is always super friendly, exceptionally helpful and welcoming. Always lovely to see her. The property is beautiful and the villas and pools are great. Conveniently located close to airport with complimentary transfer. We choose to always stay here at the end of our Bali trips.

The hour massage at the on site spa was more than double the normal price and was a one handed massage. Very disappointing. The standard villas are looking tired and need some refreshing like new paint cushions on lounges etc. I think they should have a fresh water dispenser in kitchen as you only get 2 bottles of water a day (enough to brush your teeth).

Aircon doesn’t work so well so room stays hot. The area is not that nice, we only stayed to be close to the airport but otherwise it’s a bit grimy.

Super lovely accommodation. The property itself is beautiful and the staff is extremely nice. We ate at their dinner location a few nights during our stay and it was also very tasty. Great private pool, plus other pools around the property. We had a couples massage that was also great. The staff helped us arrange a driver for the day to bring us to Uluwatu, and they arranged an airport driver! Very helpful!

We used this place as a base for a few nights before traveling to different parts of Bali. It’s close to the airport and perfect for just relaxing. That being said, there was not much that was easily accessible outside of the Villa. We could call a grab, but with traffic it took a long time to get places. It was okay for a few days of just pure relaxation, but it was difficult to get out and explore.
