this is an older style establishment that oozes charm and character. The rooms are a good size and the street side ones connect you to the street life around you. It's a bit rough around the edges but I really liked the place and it's great value for money.

beds are a bit hard and bathrooms could do with make over but you get what you pay for.

I thought it was a great hotel. Location is perfect, close to the major attractions, but in a quiet neighborhood. Staff is very kind and helpful. There are many Coffee shops and restaurants very close. I found room very comfortable and large, bed and pillows were amazing. I hope to come back.

The team provided excellent support, even though not all members were English speakers. Their inherent friendliness is commendable. The location offers convenient access to all essential amenities.

The room was not available at the scheduled check-in time, which I understand given the last-minute booking. Regarding the room itself, the curtains were soiled, and there was a leak from the refrigerator, which was unplugged. The bed was exceptionally firm, even for my preference. The air conditioning unit was positioned directly over the bed, making it difficult to adjust the airflow (old model with almost constant flow). The bathroom had an older aesthetic, and the shower featured separate controls for hot and cold water (even different jet flow) In summary, while it might be acceptable for less discerning guests, the combination of the bed and air conditioning could significantly impact one's ability to sleep comfortably.

Am făcut rezervare pe 2 nopți . Checkout-ul putem să îl fac până la 12 noaptea așa îmi arata cei de pe Booking în schimb când am întrebat au zis ca pana la ora 13 trebuie sa fac checkout-ul. La ora 12 in ziua checkout-ului au oprit curentul in camera sa nu mai stai ,deci trebuia sa ieși din camera pentru ca nu mai funcționa nimic in camera.La micul dejun îți aduceau 2 ouă ochiuri moi (aproape crude),2 felii de pâine toast ,salată si câte un crenvurști.Per total nu mi-a plăcut. La recepție doamnele erau destul de simpatice

Unusually large room with a large sitting room and smallish bathroom but not to small. Excellent location. Stayed in room number 6 for 1 night only had to catch a train from Thonburi railway station. The bed was a little hard. The only downside was the AC was not effective but otherwise a great place to stay. The elderly lady at reception was very friendly and helpful. She even booked us a cab at 7 in the morning for Thonburi railway station. Will definitely stay there again. For the price it's really good. Just please get AC serviced.

This was an ageing hotel and once again the pictures of the accommodation were very professionally done but didn’t match with what was actually there

Loved the location - a quiet, authentic street, in a culturally interesting neighbourhood. The room was enormous, with a beautiful hardwood floor, and the bed equally enormous, with a very firm and comfortable mattress. The staff, so well-mannered, astute and respectful, made us feel very at home. Will stay again at this hotel on our return visit to Bangkok.

There's always someone at the reception to assist you. The building is so quiet and peaceful, ideal for those who wants to keep away from noise but not far from the action. Room is huge and it was clean. Very nice stay!

The shower flooded every time I used it. Had to wipe with the towels otherwise I was walking on water. Not a big problem though.

I like the place because it's in the heart of Bangkok. I like also the the rooms, it's wide and comfortable and the rent is not pricy. I like also the staff, they are accommodating. They can speak in English.

It's quite not accessible to grab and bolt. The road going to the hotel is a bit narrow.

Very low shower head with very high temperature control for shower (if < 6 foot u may struggle), the plastic waterbottles were warm (BPA poisoning), the “flatscreen TV” had no netflix or good channels, the doors are hard to open, no light until you crawl around and put your card in and the fridge was pretty dirty

The photographs bear no reflection to reality. I was in room 3 and the sink was cracked and leaked, shower unit leak and all the plaster was falling off the walls. Some even landed on my towel whilst showering. Absolutely disgusting.

Nice location, close to Grand Palace (30 minutes by walk) and to Khao San Road (20 minutes by walk). Nice restaurants and food trucks around. Good dishes and cheaper.

Its placed in very comfortable location which is quite. The stuff was very welcoming and helpful. They did their maximum to make sure we have all we need and feel comfortable without asking for maney for everything. The little kitchen in the from made the whole experience even more welcoming. I would deffinitely recoment this place for the value.

There was only one think I could point to and it was the wall of the room. I know that the rainy season has strong inpact on the walls but it would be nice if they will be repainted. It would nake the room feel cleaner. Evethough the room itself was very clean.

The rooms and communal areas were clean and tidy, sure a little dated, but that is part of the authenticity and charm. The staff were so very helpful andcould not help enough. It was quiet, but near where we wanted to be. It is traditional Thai, so the previous reviews should take that into consideration; if you want western palatial then choose such companies, although i would question why go to Thai. If you want real and true then I would recommend; bearing in mind we used to live near here and we were back visiting friends so we know what to expect. We will certainly be returning. Thank you.

property is old and worn electric in room kept turning off all night then restart tv came on, safety deposit box locked no one speaking English or knew how to open or use. it is sad to see such a distinguished hotel fall so far needs lots of work

The room was extremely dirty. The floor was sticky, the floor of the balcony looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a very long time, there was quite a lot of mould throughout the room and the shower had a used bandaid and hair in the drain (which I had to remove myself so that it wouldn't flood). The soles of our feet were constantly black from walking bare foot inside the room.

Hotel was ok. Pretty old and not so comftable. Location was great, only 10 min for Kosanroad.

we were the first guests on January 1st in the new year it was a very nice room very quiet with a small terrace you felt very comfortable the host was very nice and everything was a family atmosphere

Location: 15 min walk from khao san road. Lots of restaurants within 2-3 minute walk and 7 eleven roughly 5 minute walk. Booked 3 rooms: 2x Superior and 1x Deluxe Superior rooms: A bit cramped if staying with kids. Deluxe: Spacious, but the electric tankless water heater barely worked that I had to take a Luke warm shower. Forget about taking a bath, the water heater shut off after 10 minutes. AC works fine for all rooms, also equipped with fridges. Downstairs has an area with a large table, so we ordered food from grab ánd ate there. They also offer free filtered water + instant coffee downstairs. The hotel was cheap, so cannot expect much. The hotel does not have an elevator, so it was a struggle bringing our heavy suitcases up to our rooms.

Our family had a lovely experience at the Sabye hotel. Firstly we want to say a big thank you to Pla, Golf and the staff who were very kind to our family and children. After seeing reviews about the location we were very glad we booked here. It was a very relaxed location, off the main roads, great restaurants and street food and, massage parlours in all the streets surrounding the hotel. A close walk to some great locations and China town. We loved the history surrounding this part of Bangkok, good vibes and such kind and friendly people. The hotel room was very comfortable with bunks and a large bed, for a family, very clean and tidy. The hotel has a very relaxed feel, plants, books, common area downstairs, art on the walls, relaxing music a lot of love and personality. feels more like a retreat. Definitely recommend for a great package of Thailand’s beauty. thank you for having us,

We came to stay unexpectedly because the room price was not high. But very impressed especially about the help of the Q&A team because we are check in too late. The area is nice, Old hotel but charming building with nice decorations. The room is clean and spacious. We feel at home, All the staff are nice and helpful. It's worth it. For sure, we'll be back!

door was not locking. it was dirty. on top of that my checkout time was until 12am of the next day and they asked us to leave at 2pm saying that the checkout time was until 12pm. All these while clearly showing them the booking date and checkout time from booking.com, the front office confirmed the checkout time as 12am, yet I had to leave with nowhere to go. a call to the manager doesn’t help either.
