地點好，下樓就是一中商圈對愛逛街的人來說超方便，有專用停車場但車位沒有很多入口處較不明顯，有提供早餐但沒去吃所以無法分享，高樓層水壓大且穩定加分，總體來說蠻推薦的！

Breakfast was amazing, shops are everywhere.. prices are great, food is unique and people are so kind..

There is some construction adjacent to the property. There was a gym next door and a night market across the street. Walking distance to Taichung Park and a small cute red bridge. A very old (75 year) Christian church (Grace Memorial) was also nearby.

For a Taipei lived person, I think this is the best hotel if travelers drive to Taichung and enjoy the local Taichung style. Comfortable and convenient, excellent.

Several notable bonuses for staying at Lailai set it apart from other hotels: 1) it shares the building with World Gym, the franchise started by Arnold Schwarzenegger. The hotel provides a voucher for guests to work out for free. They say it is the largest gym in Taiwan, and the variety of exercise machines, weight machines, and free weights seems to bear that out. If you're addicted to working out like me, you may even feel spoiled . There's a broad offering of exercise classes and hotel guests are welcome, also for no fee. Note, the mid afternoon classes cater to retirees. 2) an excellent breakfast buffet is included. The variety of dishes is surprising. More impressive is that many of the dishes changed on the second day of my stay. So often these hotels will serve the same breakfast day after day, so that after a few days even the delicious food seems boring. 3) free laundry! The basket in your closet has your room number on it. If you happen to leave your clothes in the washing machine or dryer too long, the next person to come along can simply dump your clothes into the bucket and just get there wash on. The one issue I did have was that the AC did not bring my room to a comfortable temperature. Apparently, the 9th floor AC units are not as effective as those on the 6th floor. The staff was super about changing my room immediately and letting me know not to expect the room to cool below 20° C.

飯店位於車水馬龍的一中街正旁邊，但是房間完全聽不到路邊的車子聲，房與房之間間隔音也很好，停車也非常友善👍 枕頭的話我自己是不太習慣，但同行友人睡得非常好

This hotel is directly opposite a busy night market and is close to many convenience stores and shopping. Rooms are clean and they were also kind enough to change rooms for us when the Aircon in our original one wasn't working properly. Front desk was also responsive, friendly and efficient. Breakfast was so-so in terms of variety but still good to have in the morning. Definitely a good place to stay in Taichung!

I like they have washer and dryer at the property and the cleaner are very prompting to clean. Convenient location!

Service was great, excellent gym, very good breakfast too. Only problem was the smelly closet, which apparently is a persistent problem for all rooms because of the material it used.

Customer service was amazing even though it was difficult situations by the virus. Hotel was very clean as well

Big and spacious, unfortunately they couldnt come to the room to fix the heating. Heating is done for the entire floor than a single room. So if you end up on a corner suite like we did and there isnt enough heating, you would just have to ask for extra blankets.

We were in Taichung for medical reasons and nine days. The hospital was in walking distance from the hotel. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Hotel stay includes free workout at #1 The World Gym which includes spa facilities. A low hotel price for great Hotel accommodation.

The hotel was comfortable. Breakfast was very good on somedays to ok on others. The laundry facilities were a great help. The surrounding area jas much to see, eat and enjoy. Would stay again.

Excellent location, spacious room, cozy decoration, good breakfast. But I got insect bite in my arm at night and felt itchy. Hope it is not bed bugs.

Wouldn’t recommend this hotel-

the hotel was near the night market. the food selections were great. coffee, tea and buns in the afternoon were great to have at the lobby after spending the day outdoors before going back to the room. if ever i get the chance to go back, this hotel is a place worth booking again.

Very luxurious. Upgraded to a suite. It was huge! The bathroom was 150 square feet. No kidding. The buffet was large. Really nice.

They provides 2 kind of pillow - soft & hard. The hard one is still soft. Air conditioning has noise. Pls fix it.

This hotel was the base of our stay in Taichung. Good things were 1. duvet covers, 2. large clean washroom and shower, 3. excellent air conditioner, 4. in-room safe, 5. free laundry machines, 6. awesome included buffet breakfast. The inside rooms - with no windows - are roomier than the regular room. The location is excellent, with many buses stopping at the stop next to the university beside the hotel. There is also a decent night market within 5 min walk. The staff is also fantastic. Can't really think of a bad thing to say about this hotel.

What an incredible find with this hotel that is ideally situated in a very active part of the city. Staff were really nice, rooms very modern and clean. Buffet breakfast selection vast and delicious. And nice touches like free use of washers and dryers. Really feel like I lucked out when I chose this place by chance. Terrific stay.

Stayed this hotel whenever I came TaiChung. Staffs are extremely friendly, cheerful and helpful. Room is big, clean and bed is big and comfortable. Pleasant to stay. YiZhong street is just a stone throw away.

Reception staffs are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is average. Room size is great, especially the shower room. Bed is very comfortable. Location of the hotel is closed to shopping and super market in walking distance . There isn't any restaurant/cafe inside the hotel.

Newly renovated hotel. Friendly front desk and porter service. Nice cost room in Yizhong area. Proximity to shopping area is a plus.

Yizhong street is a stone’s throw away. Offer free drinks and little buns at lobby. Can borrow easycard with $300 deposit to be refunded upon return. Booked same room type with 2 twin beds and windows for 2 separate nights. The room facing Yizhong is much smaller than the one on the other side.

This hotel got the best location next to a night market and a department store. However, the mattress is way too hard and not comfortable at all.

We love the location. It is very close to the department store and it has ample shopping opportunities! The breakfast buffet has lots of choices!

Location was ok. Near to night market. Don't expect anything fancy cos it's an old building with busy streets and noise. It housed a gymn so it's noisy. Music and shouting from instructor start as early as 8am and last till 10pm. Window has no view and overlook old shop houses or residences with windows overlooking into the hotel rooms. Service staff not very polite nor courteous as compared to the other hotels I stayed while in Taipei and other parts of Taichung.

I love everything about this hotel. The staffs are super friendly and went all the way out to assist you. Their breakfast buffet has lots of variety to choose from even for someone like my mom who is a vegetarian. They even serve hot buns and drinks for free at their reception. Location is superb! Night market and some nice boutiques are just across the street! I would definitely stay here again nxt time!

When we check out, the hotel staffs prepare some free drinks and snacks for us to go. This is totally unheard of. You can imagine how thoughtful they are. It's a wonderful experience.

The hotel is awesome. Located just across Yizhong Street which is 1 of the famous Taichung night street where you can get all the super nice and cheap Street food. Plenty of stuff to shop. Great for shopping and eat. The service was great. Staff are all very friendly. They provided some free snacks and drinks at the lobby so you won't get hungry. The room and the toilet were huge. It is definitely worth the price. Will definitely stay there again. Thumbs up!

Always a good stay at the Lai Lai Hotel and would not stay anywhere els. Great location and wonderful staff make this hotel outstanding. You feel welcome from the moment you book in to when you have to leave. So many great memories can be shared with the enthusiastic staff.

Excellent hotel l! Friendly staff that provides directions to anywhere you want to go. There is a gym beside the hotel which u can use for free too. The rooms are big and new and the beds are clean too. Recommended for couples

The front desk were so accommodating in every way. I left here for 50 years. They taught me how to use the public transportation. Sincere care in every way. I feel like home again.

Overall a pleasing experience with good location. Room is slightly dusty and ask the home service to vacuum the carpet when we are out. Hotel staff is very nice too and will offer bottled water or isotonic drink during check out for our journey to Taipei.

Greet by two friendly front desk staff, and our checking paper work were done in less then 2 minutes. The room is spacious, bed is comfortable too. When ask for buses direction, they gave us all top 10 places to visit and a map. Then offered us additional bottle waters to take while we traveling thru the city. We were so thrilled with all of the extra pampering, we already planning on our next journey in Taichung and this is our #1 choice hotel.

some rooms does not comes with window view. dryer not strong enough. clothes were not dry even after a 40 mins run

Excellant hotel. Excellant friendly staff on reception and in breakfast room. Excellant location with restaurants, bubble teas, markets, buses, etc. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel. It is a nice gesture when the staff secured our taxis and waved as we drove away each time Thank you La La, Anita Danny, Amanda & Janice and all the staff for making our stay very enjoyable.

On my first day, I went there with a surprise love shape chocolate on my bed. As i went to Qin Jing on my second day, i deposit my luggage at the hotel and on my third day, i went back to the hotel, they directly placed my luggage into my room (Same room). So sweet of them. Fantastic stay. Highly recommended.

Hotel staffs are very welcoming and courteous. Room services are very fast as well. Room is spacious and clean. Bed is comfy. TV have lots of international channels. Free usage of washing machines & dryers. Location is good as there's a supermarket within the building. Approx. 1 min walk to bus-stops. Excellent!

In the middle of bustling action. Convenient location, excellent service, comfortable facility, parking available, good breakfast selection but the most impressive part to me is free access to the gold gym right next door. Major hospitals just minutes away.

This Hotel Room is very Clean and feel very comfort & the Customer service officer is very helpful and friendly. WiFi reception coverage is good, basically a good choice for nightlife & shopping as it just nearby the night market & shop lot area all just by walking distance less than 5 minutes.

Even though we stayed for only a few days,we had a wonderful time. The hotel staff were very polite and patient,we had a small problem with the wifi,and we told them,and they fixed it in a few seconds and came upstairs to see if it was working efficiently. The buffet on level b1 was very good. Some of the food differed everyday,Taiwanese food is the best. I really hope that you will have a chance to stay at this hotel the next time you go to Taichung. Thanks so much :)

Definitely recommend this place! The room was quite spacious. The price was cheap maybe because ours was a no window room but it doesn't quite matter for us. Location was good too. Close to a large shopping mall and a night market. Plenty of buses to take nearby too!

Booked a Superior room with no window. Good size and structure of the room (a curtain on one wall) does not make lack of a window such an issue. Staff were very helpful with directions. Breakfast range is very good. Hotel has Washer and Dryer with free wash powder, to do your own laundry. Free drink and latter in the day steamed buns available in foyer. There is a market area with shops directly opposite the hotel, many shops and stalls are open during the day, though really comes alive at night. Plenty of buses going past hotel. Chung Yo Dept store is about 10 min walk down the road, a large dept store, but also large range of eating places within (basement , ground level at front ,14th Floor and 15th floor - highly recommend Buffet on 15th Floor tower B).

Convenient to everywhere in the city.

Centrally located at a shopping and school district. The staff, including the cleaning ladies, are helpful and very friendly. We are impressed with the standard of their service. Room is not large, but very clean. The free self-service laundry is a great help to travellers on long holidays! We will certain book this hotel again if we were to re-visit Taichung!
