The place is beautiful and the view of lake maggiore is outstanding. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was very big, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, varied and excellent. Our hosts were very nice and kind. We would definitely wish to return to this place again.

Bellissima struttura immersa nel verde con vista fantastica sul lago. Parcheggio comodo e colazione all’aperto su terrazza stupenda. Ottima pulizia. La piccola piscina è un plus da non sottovalutare per un pomeriggio di relax lontano dal caos.

Lo spazio interno per la colazione (utilizzato nell’unico giorno di pioggia) è un po’ piccolo e datato ma nel complesso è un buon piano B in caso di maltempo

Außergewöhnliche Gastgeber. Stets bemüht den Gästen jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Lage Top, sehr ruhig. Herrlicher Blick auf den See. Am Abend bekommt man auch Speisen im Haus. Tipp. Omas Lasagne. Teilw. überdachter Parkplatz mit E-Ladestationen. Nur 3 Minuten mit dem Auto in das Dorf. Im Dorf genügend Parkplätze im Gegensatz zu anderen Orten am See.

L’emplacement, la vue, l’accueil, l’environnement, le calme. Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable. L’hôtel est très charmant, au milieu d’un parc arboré et avec vue directe sur le lac Majeur. L’accueil très chaleureux des propriétaires et le petit déjeuner et globalement tous les produits servis sont de grande qualité.

L'accueil chaleureux et l'emplacement parfait, maison de charme, avec une vue à couper le souffle, au calme. La cuisine sur place est de qualité pour l'avoir testé un soir, C'est un endroit que nous recommandons sans aucun doute ! Bruno et Raphaël (Mr chocolate).

Wer einen kleinen feinen Ort zum Erholen sucht, ist dort genau richtig. Das Hotel hat wirklich einen tollen Charme. Nostalgisch, aber trotzdem mit allen Annehmlichkeiten. Ein großer Park mit altem Baumbestand bringt Abkühlung.

Nachteilig ist, dass man immer ein Auto benötigt, da die Wege ziemlich weit sind. Für Kinder/Jugendliche ist die Lage etwas zu ruhig.

This is a well hidden pearl of a family hotel. 5 minutes driving from Stresa - make sure to follow navigational hints from proprietors, the access path is a little... entertaining :-). Beautiful hillside grounds with massive sequoia trees [to my immense surprise, that's how Gemini identified them] growing next to the outdoor dining area - shaded, and with direct lake view. "Old country" furnishings in perfect - no, shining! - condition. Do not miss breakfast for anything!

In Belgirate selbst ist nicht viel los, zwei große Hotels sind geschlossen.

Property in a great location with spectacular view on the lake. Great welcoming hosts. Free and secure parking. Very nice garden around the hotel. Excellent breakfast outside with a very beautiful view of the lake.

Where to even start with how amazing this place is. My husband and I went for our mini-moon this month and it was beyond special. The location itself is perfect, close enough to Stresa to drive / get a bus in around 5/10 mind but also nice and secluded. The setting is absolutely breathtaking - it is right on the lake and utter paradise. There is a hot tub and swimming pool at the lake front and it was very special to be in there looking at the views. Simona and Alberta went above and beyond to make it special for us, even calling local restaurants to see where was open and driving us and picking up to save us getting a taxi. The food is all homemade and absolutely delicious. The breakfast was amazing, including fresh dark chocolate and fresh local honey still in the honeycomb. It was small touches like this that made it unlike anywhere we had been before. If you are considering going, this should be your sign to do so! 10/10! Thank you so much S & A!

Un séjour digne d’un conte… avec vue imprenable et zénitude garantie Quitter cet endroit a été la seule véritable difficulté ! Le relais est niché dans un parc magnifique où même les oiseaux semblent chanter plus juste qu’ailleurs. Les gérants ?. Attentionnés, chaleureux et toujours disponibles, ils maîtrisent l’art de recevoir à la perfection. En résumé : un lieu où l’on se sent bien. Nous recommandons sans hésitation… sauf si vous cherchez un endroit banal et sans charme — dans ce cas, passez votre chemin !

Surclassement en chambre haut de gamme, situation de l'hôtel, possibilité de diner sur place, bornes de recharge pour véhicule électrique et accueil chaleureux . Nous avons passé un excellent séjour avec tout le confort possible.

The outside breakfast patio was pleasant as the sun warms in the AM hours. The location, in relation to the ferry, was excellent (the hotel staff helpfully provide times. ) A word of caution if you choose to walk to the ferry, the road from the hotel is fairly narrow and steep which is most noticable when returning!) A free shuttle service is offered.

The noise of the trains! The early morning freight train literally shook the building. Not ideal for light sleepers.Possibly a room away from the main building may be quieter. Trains run throughout the day but are shorter, quieter and less obtrusive. Cost of breakfast ( if not included in your package) is quite steep for what is served. Dining in on Sunday evening best avoided as there is only a limited lunch menu offered.

We chose Casali della Cisterna for our short Lago Maggiore trip, and loved it there. The reviews are right, rooms are spacious and clean, with great views towards the lake (we had The Flying Dutchman suite). People mention the train tracks behind the property; they are not visible, and do not detract from the beauty of the place. The noise is no problem, despite being a very light sleeper, I had no issues. Food provided was tasty, good quality eggs and bacon, lasagna tasty, owners, as others said, very nice people. Being able to park in a secure area and also charge our electric car was appreciated. If you're on the fence about this place, book now. Totally recommended, and if anything, the pictures do not do it justice. Also a good place if you travel with kids, there's a playground, a pool, a park, and you're a few minutes drive from Stresa.

The owners were very helpful, spook good English and made us feel welcome. The bus and train station are a short walk away but the owners will drive you when requested. Buses stop at 19:30 hours and taxis are rare. Arriving back in Stresa after a train trip we had to take a taxi back, however, the owner said we should have rung and they would have sent someone out to collect us - Now that is service. The hotel consists of a main building and a second annexe both with views of the lake and the garden area. We had the top floor room, normally a family room, which you entered straight from the lift. It was split into three areas, the first had a single bed and a balcony with a large table for sitting around. The middle section had two single beds whilst the main bedroom area had a king-size bed and a balcony. The bathroom was large with big jacuzzi and shower. The breakfast met our requirements especially the four types of honey, one being a local honey comb. Though based on the continently style you could also have porridge, waffles, pancakes and various eggs served in the main house or terrace. Evening meals were pizzas, or various salads served in large locally made bowls and of course a sweet selection. Make sure you have the apple tart, a family recipe, with ice cream. There is a large selection of wines to go with your meal, and we had the recommend local red wine which was excellent. Access to the buildings are via stairs, these are not easy if you have any problems walking. However, if you stay in the main building you can gain access to the hotel through the private quarters, you will need to arrange that, and then ride down in the lift to reception, useful when carrying cases to and from the car. Th bottom level has secure parking with access to charger stations, which you need to reserve, and a gym area. There is a small raised pool which is suitable for children as a parent could reach over and easily lift a child out.

There was nothing we did not really like as we had wanted a small bijou style hotel which we could use as a base to see the area and that is exactly what we had. The hotel is a short drive from the main town of Stresa with its large hotels, restaurants and promenade walks and it would have been nice if it had been in walking distance, but we knew that before we booked. If you are careful and look around you should be able to find a space to park your car in one of the car parks, or in a white parking area for free. Just remember this is not the type of hotel were you relax by the pool and do nothing every day, though if you are a family there is plenty of shade and a large play area for children to run around when you need a rest. The hotel's Web site gives a very fair and honest picture of the hotel and what to expect.

Everything was great. The hosts, Alberto and Simona, are gracious and helpful. They made us feel very welcome and addressed needs we had during the stay, including helping with difficult tour reservations nearby. We traveled with our family and needed three rooms. Each room was perfect for the ones in it. Th rooms are well apportioned and spacious. The view of Lake Maggiore is fabulous from the rooms. One of our group has young kids and there were a lot of activities right at the hotel, like a pool and ping-pong. In addition, the hosts really made the kids feel at home. One of the kids said that stay was his favorite part of the trip. The food was great and, surprisingly affordable. We had breakfast there twice, lunch twice, and dinner four times. The menu has a lot of variety so most of us didn't have the same thing twice, except the young ones, who loved the chicken strips (so did the adults that sampled them). The property is beautiful, with a wide variety of plants and trees. Travel to nearby sites is convenient.

We wished we could have stayed longer. Some commented they wanted to live there.

Relais Casali della Cisterna is a truly special place, elegant, peaceful, and full of warmth. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine kindness. The hosts, Simona and Alberto, went above and beyond to make our stay perfect, offering great local tips, and always making us feel at home. Our room was beautifully designed, spacious, and spotless, with breathtaking views of Lake Maggiore. Waking up to the view of the lake from our balcony was unforgettable. The gardens surrounding the villa are lush and peaceful, perfect for relaxing walks or a quiet coffee in the morning sun. Breakfast was excellent, fresh pastries, fruit, local cheeses, and eggs made to order. It’s one of those places where every detail feels cared for. The location is also great, just a few minutes’ drive from Stresa and Belgirate, close enough to explore but quiet enough to feel completely away from it all. We’ve stayed in many places across Europe, but this one really stands out for its charm, authenticity, and the warmth of its hosts. We left with a full heart and wonderful memories. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be back!

הגענו משפחה של חמישה. ישנו בחדר של 5 מיטות. חדר יפה, נקי וגדול, ויש גם חדר רחצה עם ג'קוזי. מקום קסום ממש על החוף של אגם מגו'רה. נוף מהמם מהחלון והמרפסת. הבעלים של המלון זוג מקסים. הבעל יודע כמה מילים בעברית. האישה בדלפק הקבלה והיא מטפלת בהכול בצורה מאוד נעימה. ממש עזרה לנו בכל מה שהיינו צריכים, יחס ממש טוב. לפני שהגענו בתמונות הרגיש לי קצת עתיק וחששתי מזה, אבל במציאות זה מרגיש יוקרתי. מאד ממליץ לישון שם למי שנמצא באזור. גיא.

בגדול אהבנו הכל. לא מצאתי משהוא לא בסדר.

This was a beautiful property to stay in that overlooks Lake Maggiore. Simone and her husband are so kind and accommodating. They have an on site restaurant and we had an amazing dinner! Our room was upgraded to a larger room and it had a magnificent view and was very spacious. This was one of our best stays on our trip to Italy. Highly recommend!

Everything about this hotel was excellent. It was one of the highlights of our visit to Italy. Our hosts were wonderful. Breakfast on the patio with a view of the lake was magical. We highly recommend this hotel and we wished that we were staying longer!

Very welcoming hosts, couldn't have done more to make our stay enjoyable. Room overlooking the lake was a bit obscured by tall trees, (might have been better from a higher floor) but still beautiful. Restaurant, small but excellent quality from varied menu. Breakfast, wanting for nothing. The only negative comment would be regarding the steps that have to be tackled from either of the parking areas. If you're planning to arrive by car, be sure to research the access route first. My satnav got it wrong first time! A mixed note, which is no reflection on the hotel but is about the boromean island set tours from Stresa, The first Island on the tour, (Isola Madre), is a rip off. Unless you're prepared to pay 20 euros per person to go round the gardens, (which I wasn't), then you are hostage to a small area and meagre restaurant choice until the boat comes to take you to the next island.

Wow! Outstanding! Simona and Alberto were amazing. This property is simply beautiful in every way. Flowers, trees, shrubbery and an amazing view of the lake right out our window and from our open air balcony. We also had a charming outdoor space for dining and/or having a drink overlooking the lake amongst the beautiful landscape. Our suite was spacious and up to date. Amenities were perfect. We rented a car and had no troubles parking at this hotel. Streets are narrow everywhere in this region, so pick a small car! Don’t rely on Apple Maps for specific directions, follow those given to you by Alberto and Simona via email. It was helpful. This location was very close to Stresa, maybe 5 minutes . We spent quite of bit of time in Stresa.

Due to flight delays and cancellations, we were delayed until a 1:30 AM arrival. Simone took AMAZING care of us and accommodated two very tired travelers. The room was amazing, the restaurant was as well. We'll be back.

Das zauberhafte kleine Hotel ist etwas abseits gelegen, hat eine wunderschöne Parkanlage, tolle Blicke, ausreichend und (für uns wichtig) sichere Parkplätze. Das Frühstück auf der Terrasse ist ein Traum. Wir haben dort auch zu Abend gegessen und es hat uns ausgezeichnet gefallen. Es ist sehr familiär und jede Frage und jeder Wunsch wurde uns von den Gastgebern erfüllt.

Great stay. Great hosts, great breakfast & fabulous room. We stayed 2 nights & everything was perfect. We did not eat dinner here, preferring to drive into Stresa but we had 2 evenings back in the bar enjoying a nightcap with our game of cards. I would 100% recommend this hotel

The hotel has all the needed facilities, and an elevator to the room! The owners, Simona and Alberto, where great in hospitality and the food in the restaurant was very good. The pool is small but the is sufficient for children. The view is gorgeous.
