Great communication from the beginning, and the staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always available to help. Parking right in front of the entrance was very convenient. The apartment offers a beautiful view of the pool and the sea, and the pool itself feels like an infinity pool. We also loved the direct beach access, the amazing sunsets, and the great location, with excellent restaurants and a grocery store just a few minutes' walk away.

The apartment is starting to show its age. Some of the materials seem to be of lower quality, parts of the flooring are warped, and a few fixtures feel quite worn. The sun loungers by the pool and on the beach could also use replacing. Overall, these were only minor issues and did not affect our stay. We really enjoyed our time here and would happily come back.

Very clean and spacious en-suite rooms with magnificent penthouse balcony with furniture and stunning views and of the coastline and sea.

Die Anlage ist schön gestaltet mit tollem Pool und schönem kleinen Strandabschnitt.

Beim Buchen sieht man nicht welches Appartement tatsächlich gebucht wurde. Hier würden klare Bezeichnungen helfen. Wir hatten Terrasse oder Balkon erwartet und hatten nur eine aufschiebbare Glasfront. Leider gab es nur eine Kapsel-Kaffeemaschine. Nervig waren Kleinigkeiten wie… 5 Handtücher in die Wäsche zu geben und 3 zurück zu bekommen, keine Infos zu Einschränkungen durch Feiertage, tagelang tropfende Klimaanlage ohne Reparatur, muffiger Hauswirtschaftsschrank. Die Krönung war eine Baustelle am Strand, glücklicherweise an den letzten Tagen. Es wurde ein Graben aufgemacht, häßlich abgesperrt und tagelang kaum weiter gearbeitet. Also ein großer Makel bei Aussicht und Comfort am Strand. Es gab keine Infos dazu. Die Arbeiter sagten uns, wir sollten uns doch etwas weiter weg auf eine Strandliege legen.

Swimming pool was good. Beach was nice.

Apartment look nothing like in the pictures. Very dark with dirty and damaged old furniture. Master bedroom windows open inside apartment, not outside !! No terrace ! (there was one in the pictures) Noisy air condition, impossible to sleep. Claim to booking and long conversations with Horizon didn't help. Owners not interested in fixing anything. They were only interested in selling other apartment to us at higher price than listed on booking. Got 20% discount in credits and moved out 6 days earlier to better place at own expense.

Excellent location. Very well maintained. Fantastic infinity pool overlooking the beach. Staff super friendly and helpful. Easy check-in and check-out. Spacious for our family and kids.

Spa on the balcony wasn’t heated - good for hot days, couldn’t use on cool days or evenings.

Awesome apartment in a quite area right on the Beachfront. The swimming pool was right by the beach with ample sunbeds and Fixed umbrellas for all guests. There is a gas grill and BBQ area for the guests, where we grilled fresh fish and watched the beautiful sunset across the ocean. The host (Warren) was wonderful and caters for all the guests needs. Made our stay a unforgetable one - Thank you !

Warren, Frederic and all the team were fantastic. So helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. They helped with things unrelated to our stay too. Have stayed here before and will definitely be back! If you want a quiet apartment on the beach, with a pool, full amenities plus extras such as spa treatments and personal chefs, Esplanade offers all this in a fantastic location. Thank you.

Современный большой пентхаус с красивыми видами на гору и на океан, уборка через день, ванная в каждой комнате.

Бассейну необходим подогрев. Пентхаус требует ремонта и обновления. На террасе под деревом надо убираться чаще и тщательнее, так как там остается много птичьего помета. Наше впечатление подпортил менеджер, который буквально каждый день напоминал нам о том, что если мы что-то разобьём, с нас спишут деньги, также если он найдет что-либо в течение 15 дней после нашего отсутствия. Мало ли он сам что-то сломает сам? В первый раз с таким столкнулись. К тому же, мы ждали менеджера при заезде и отъезде - он всё время опаздывал.

Pool lounges impossible to set in upright position as you just slide off. Screeching birds at sunset in huge tree on the property. Whining noise of the domestic water pump in the parking area.

We had a truly wonderful experience staying here. Our group consisted of five adults and a five-year-old, and the place catered perfectly to every generation. The apartment was absolutely immaculate—beautifully maintained and equipped with everything we could have possibly needed. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a second home. The breathtaking view and pristine beach created unforgettable memories. But what truly made our stay exceptional was the care and attention we received. We had a last-minute request for a small, symbolic wedding ceremony, and our manager, Frederick, went above and beyond to make it happen. His genuine dedication to our happiness was remarkable—he even led the ceremony himself, creating a moment we’ll cherish forever. I can’t recommend this place highly enough to anyone visiting Mauritius. If you’re looking for a memorable, heartwarming stay, this is the place to be.

We loved the place even since the entrance!! Security and private parking, very nice apartment, good smell ,very spacious, organized kitchen, clean bedrooms and bathrooms and the pool view was just the cherry on the cake :) Everything was perfect, the staff very nice and Warrren very friendly and prompt in response. We had the best stay here in Mauritius and definitely we will be back.

The pool area was a bit unkempt, but thats it.

Large, comfortable apartment with all the facilities. Rooms are large, and the kitchen / living room area is well sized. Responsive and accommodating host, thanks Warren! Well-working appliances including A/C. The outside patio was pleasant to sit on. However the real jewel of this place is the pool and beach front area! The pool is large and well tempered. Trees with flocks of birds provide ample shade and entertainment. From the pool, you can walk directly into the ocean and go snorkeling in the shallow reefy area.

On foot, the area only allows access to a couple restaurants and shops, and this is using a noisy and narrow main street. Recommended to have individual transport to explore the wider area. The master bedroom in our apartment was an inside room, ie. the window was giving onto part of the living room and was curtained off. Didn't bother us, but might bother some people.

The staff! Honestly as nice as the location is - the staff and their lack of concern or effort was terrible. Spent a week prior at a Villa with a concierge service - which was amazing bc. Warren the concierge was no where on site of the property . The team communicating via booking.com couldn’t be bothered

We have a wonderful vacation in Tamarin. Excellent stay at Esplanade. Wonderful views from the terrasse, the beach, just below, the helpful team with Frederic & Warren taking care of us. We will definitely come back.

Superb location with amazing view, felt very secure, good access to local amenities, lovely helpful staff & really nice (if quite cold) infinity pool

Some bits needed some work eg plunge pool not working due to defective motor(this didn’t matter to us as we were happy to use the pool) & a cupboard door coming off. The staff however fixed that promptly & explained this issue with the plunge pool motor on arrival. July is low season so there will likely be some maintenance happening.

Towels were wet when we arrived, but this is very nit picky.

The Barbeque area, the pool.. the sea.. I love Mauritius!!!!

Some guests arrived later in the week and made a nuisance of them in the swimming pool, they had no respect for other guests, throwing ball, splash.. patetic attitude!!!!!!

The location of the apartment was excellent.

The bbq area had one bbq that was dirty and one was not working so we never used them. The towels were not cleaned daily and there was not a second set so we had to wash and dry ourselves.

What a breathtaking location with great units, the sea is easily accessible and you can walk just about anywhere you need to. We will definitely try make a plan to visit again and stay for longer. We stayed in a ground floor unit and the layout was private and well thought out. There is an outdoor communal gas BBQ setup on the side of the complex, we saw it too late to use it but recommend having a relaxing al fresco dinner there.

Some structural issues due to recent weather made some of the doors a bit impossible to work with and we had some issues with our shower and bath but management are aware of it and will probably be fixed soon.

Location...location. Situated right on beach with pool. Views of sunsets are amazing. Lots of shops and restaurants close by gives you many options.

Only the front door lock that needed to be oiled in order to close properly.

The manager was very nice and attentive. The apartment was big and very well equipped. There are small shops within closer walking distance but you need a car to get to the bigger supermarkets.

The beach in front of the hotel was very rocky but there is a sandy beach just next door.

The seafront location and the infinity pool. It was also in close proximity to shops and restaurants.

The hot water from tge shower in my apartment had no pressure and when I reported it they could not fix it. They only have cleaners coming in every 3rd day so the place was only cleaned twice in the 7 days that we stayed there.

The facilities in the apartment were perfect. I only missed the instruction manuals for the cooker and washing machine. I would also have liked to have found hooks in the hallway. By the way, the bed lamp in the smallest bedroom is very, very wobbly. The upķeep of the complex was great. I would recommend Le Horizon - Apartment at any time. 🇧🇪Elgin

Very large penthouse, see view with amazing sunset, huge terrace, shops around for food within walking distance, a few restaurants also within walking distance. Nice people, well maintained property.

Absolutely fantastic setting...superb appartment...and the Warren and Frederick are superb in recommending fantastic experiences which raised our holiday from great to superb...highly recommend this place...

An update on some furniture, and to have it serviced on a saturday

Sehr moderne, geräumige, ruhige Wohnung. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet (Nespresso-Maschine, Salz, Pfeffer, Olivenöl, Zucker usw). Gepflegter Garten und Pool, viele Sonnenliegen. Privatstrand ist ein Traum! In der Nähe (2 Minuten zu Fuss) ist eine der besten französischen Bäckereien auf der Insel und viele gute Restaurants. Wir haben einige Lebensmittel im Voraus online bestellt und sie haben die Bestellung aufs Zimmer gebracht. Danke Warren! Einziges Negativum: Einrichtung (Teppich, Küchenmöbel) ist zum Teil leider etwas schon abgenutzt.

We booked at Esplanade but ended up at Manta Cove which is in the same area. The staff is wonderful and the beach is beautiful. The Sunsets are absolutely stunning.

Absolutely stunning, luxury that is second to none. if you want paradise this is the place to stay. private beach with stunning pool and views. close to lovely restaurants, yet peaceful and secluded.

On a quiet beach.

Address and phone number given by Hotels.com is incorrect. We ended up in a place at Flic and Flac which is 1/2 hours drive away from property. The phone number given was also wrong, thru the day we called the number 10x to get specific directions but there was no answer and line cutoff after 2 rings. We eventually managed to call the property manager after doing a fresh internet search for Horizons Holidays. This caused us about an hours delay in getting to the property not to mention extra driving and bother. Great location with groceries stores and restaurants around the corner. The apartments were well equipped with beautiful views, great pool and private beach. Nice braai area surrounded by trees and private next to the beautiful ocean

We arrived late about 21.30, the kids were hungry and all food and restaurants were closed. No 24 hour shops. Will be good to stock coffee, tea milk and biscuits for guests, only for check in. There were sugar, jams and a something to drink for two persons.

We stayed here for 3 weeks and absolutely loved it. Everywhere is kept clean and tidy, inside and out by the friendly staff. direct access to the beach and shallow waters of the sea. Close to supermarkets and various eateries. Extremely quiet, apart from the Myna birds , which roost in the fig tree. Would we go back? Without a doubt.

Would definitely stay again. Qiet neighborhood and direct access to the beach. Just what I needed.

Vacance avec enfant. le personnel est flexible et accueillant. le service est de qualité. Je peux que conseiller à une famille, ou couple, ce lieu pour y séjourner. les commerces sont avoisinants et toujours avec bon accueil.

Børnevenlig pool og afslappet område tæt på en del attraktioner. Lidt støj fra franske familier må forventes.
