Cant complain. The room was spotless, the bed comfy, and the staff kind. Plus, the bar / restaurant has great food options. Would come back in a heartbeat.

This hotel is not accommodating. Additionally, they are extremely hard to get ahold of. Very poor customer service.

We had city view with a bathtub with rust in it, room and bed were clean. No free breakfast was available with stay. Second time there maybe sea view rooms are considered luxury and better cared for. The staff was amazing at the reception area. It was late and he was so accommodating and friendly at 11pm at night. I was tired and a friendly face like his deserves a raise. I will definitely look into Seaview side again.

J’ai eu un mauvais imprévu et j’ai dû annuler à la dernière minute. Très déçue du service à la clientèle, l’homme à la réception m’a dit que je devrais contacter Expedia pour le remboursement. Expedia a tenté à plusieurs reprises, mais l’hôtel a refusé. Ils n’ont pas voulu me rembourser même pas en partie, ce qui aurait été satisfaisant. Je suis consciente que ma réservation était « non-remboursable », mais il y a des hôtels qui sont plus flexibles et ont plus de cœur que ça.

La qualité du ménage n’y était pas. On voit la volonté de rénovation dans la chambre mais rien n’est terminé. Toutefois, la vue au réveil sur le fleuve est magnifique.

A beautiful, if not a little dated, property. Right on the water, adjacent to walking trails and stunning views of the St. Lawrence River and ferry port. The hotel is classic. A comfortable, old world style place. The rooms are well kept, although the bathrooms couldnuse an update. Parking is easy, but the property can be tricky to get to. Worth a stay if you're in Baie Comeau.

The hotel has a beautiful location and view. The room is a bit small and dated but had everything we needed. The food in the dining room was delicious when we went for dinner.

Main stairway to front door was not illuminated after dark, so I told receptionist who said it was on a timer and nothing she could do. Lots of hot water in evening but only cold in the morning.

Best hotel in the area. Note that there are no housekeeping services if you stay several days. Understandable because they seemed sold out.

What a hotel! View was amazing! Food was fantastic. Wish I got our servers name for dinner last night he was super helpful. We don’t speak French at all and everybody was awesome with helping us through everything. The patio for dinner and drinks was out of this world!

An expensive hotel promising a great experience does not quite deliver. Good points: the river view is beautiful and the bed is very comfortable. Temperature control also in good order. Some negatives: old and worn furniture. The toilet bowl was not recently cleaned and the room was a bit dusty. The restaurant in the hotel is expensive and the quality does not warrant the price. The grounds are not very exciting. So, it's expensive for a very average hotel experience.

They are building a very nice extension to the actual premises. The existing place/rooms are old. Nicely maintaines but old. Quiet everywhere, delighted staff, 4.8 stars on 5, considering the bath/shower and fawcets are quite old

I have stayed at Le Manoir a few times before but that was some 40 years ago, so was looking forward to visiting again because I had very pleasant memories of it. My impressions were mixed. We took an executive seaview room which was pleasant and pleasing although rather under-equipped for an "executive" room; only one armchair and an in-tub shower for example. It measured about 325 square feet and had a charming view over the water. It was quiet. Parking was a bit of a problem because a hotel extension is being built on the parking lot. Street parking was available. The dining room was a nightmare. At first they said they were full for dinner (although they were not) but eventually managed to find us a table. This place which used to have an excellent ambience seems to have become the party place for the local youth. The noise level was so high that we ate quickly and left. Happily, breakfast the following morning, which was served in a different room, was peaceful and enjoyable and we much appreciated our perky waitress.

Fantastic location, quiet hotel, great bed, clean bedroom, thick towels, bathrobes provided. Some areas are a bit outdated (carpet in the stairs and old elevator) but hotel extremely charming and so comfortable. Ask for a room with an ocean view, it is breath taking. I highly recommend this hotel and would go back there anytime!

Air conditioning did not work. No hot water for a shower and staff not very friendly.

Belle expérience dans cette propriété patrimoine ! Excellent confort, vue sur le fleuve et restauration. Salle d'entrainement correcte. Staff masculin à la réception très sympathiques, mais la fille à la réception du jeudi-vendredi était bête, pas de sourire mais plutôt des soupirs... ne semble pas apprécier son travail, alors qu'on arrive de bonheur avec nos valises pour notre séjour...

L’accueil a été décevant : la réceptionniste avait une attitude condescendante, comme si elle voulait se débarrasser de moi. Aucun sourire, et le service semblait un peu expédié. Cela dit, la chambre était vraiment belle. Petit bémol : il y avait déjà des déchets dans la poubelle à mon arrivée. Mis à part ça, l’ensemble était très bien.

On avait hâte de pouvoir retourner au Manoir en motoneige. C’était bien et propre, on décide d’aller prendre une consommation au bar, la gérante était très sympathique , (on lui avait demandé avant si ça dérangeait ) Tout à coup un genre de p’tit criss de boss viens lui dire ; tu ferme ça maintenant nos verre était presque plein C’était la dernière fois que j’apportais des gens au manoir

Nice room, old but clean. We have some garbage from the other costumer but in all good for the price. I check for the summer and the price is too high for the place but thats my opinion

This classic hotel is definitely starting to show its age but the location and view is why we come back. Disappointed that the EV charging has been removed as they are expanding the hotel.

Very clean, modern beautiful room

bathroom very dirty : lots of bodyhair in the bathtub and on the tiles. Under the sink it was dusty and cleary noone cleaned the heaters for weeks. Did not feel good to take a shower as it was clearly just rinced and not clean.

Tout était correct Le seul problème concerne l'épaisseur des oreillers. Difficile de bien dormir.

This hotel has great character and the best beds and pillows :) the staff are friendly and helpful. It is a beautiful location. Highly recommend!!!

The only negative was the lack of parking space. Had to park two streets away from the hotel.

Very nice, extremely well maintained, vintage inn with a lovely view of the Gulf of St. Lawrence.

The staff was very helpful and courteous. The food was excellent and the view was beautiful. I will return.

Third party booking says check in is 3:00, the hotel says that it is 4:00. Many of us guests waited around from 3 to 4 when magically all rooms were ready for check in. Hotel is okay, expected a bit more for the price though.

La chambre était confortable et grande. Le souper au restaurant de l'hôtel sur la terrasse était excellent. Le seul bémol revient à la propreté du couvre-lit (il y avait une tache de sang séché et un spot jaune inconnu) mais les draps et oreillers étaient très propres. La céramique autour de la baignoire était défraîchie. La situation géographique de l'hôtel est parfait !

Room was very dated and beyond the scope of regular cleaning. The grout is completely moldy and got out of shower feeling dirtier than when I got in. Furniture peeling apart. The cleaning staff left stray black hairs all over the shower and toilet, was it even cleaned. It appears the whole property is being run on a shoestring and repairs are being done as cheap as possible. Beautiful old brass doorknob, cheap chrome deadbolt and taps. Might of been nice at one time, but someone's greed got in the way.

Excellent place to rest our weary heads after a long drive. We are terrible with speaking French but everyone was accommodating. Food was great. It was a quick overnighter but a pleasant surprise. Rick and Sharon

Tous les gens du personnel à qui nous avons parlé (à la réception, au bar, au restaurant, dans les corridors,...) étaient tous (sans exception) vraiment super attentionnés, respectueux et gentils. Vraiment un gros bravo à tout le personnel !!! Je suis natif de la Côte-Nord et j'ai grandi à Port-Cartier. J'étais avec ma conjointe Montréalaise... et elle était impressionnée par la gentillesse du personnel. Je lui ai dit, c'est sa "ma" Côte-Nord". Vous m'avez fait honneur !!! :-)

Beautiful hotel, very well preserved. Situated nicely up on the hill overlooking the bay. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The front desk attendant would not honor a lower price. No handicapped or parking available anywhere nearby due to an event the hotel had going on. They could care less about the paying overnight guests. I was told "too bad, you can move your car closer after the event ends at 10pm" I personally would have liked to be sleeping then. Loud partying outside our room

A great old hotel that has been upgraded in all the things that matter. I booked on Hotels.com which claimed the hotel had laundry facilities. It did not. It was a big inconvenience for us and had we been given the correct information we would have gone elsewhere. That said, I believe the issue was with Hotels.com and not the hotel. The dining room was closed for a private function however, we had an outstanding meal at the bar. Glad we stayed and also, the adjacent walking trails are excellent.
