für eine Übernachtung auf der Durchreise war es schon ok

es hat den Charme einer Jugendherberge, vor allem die Zimmerausstattung, die Möbel sind sehr abgelebt und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht. Außerdem liegt es direkt an einer stark befahrenen Straße und obwohl wir ein Zimmer mit Blick auf das Wasser hatten war der Straßenlärm sehr laut und störend

The ocean! Our room was a was a good size.

Close to the ocean (loved beach combing for driftwood & rocks) great stream room (so hot) very comfy beds & great bed sleeping pillows. Friendly staff and helpful. Clean & convenient, easy to get to.

Not enough kitchen pots ( only 1 huge skillet & small pot) nice to have a set of pots if I’m going to use the kitchen to cook my meals, our door didn’t lock but Brodie fixed it. Would be nice to have windows you could leave open for fresh air as it was only the patio doors that opened so had to leave one unlocked so had fresh air coming in during the night.

Hotel by mohl být uklizenější. Ale nám to vlastně nevadilo.

Tolle Lage am Meer.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, and an absolutely incredible view. The water and mountains right behind the hotel made the scenery unforgettable!

I have stayed here before and like the fact its located out of town. Its a quiet location and there is free parking available.

The location was beautiful, the room was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room was so bare bones, it felt more like a student dorm than a hotel room. The bed was very uncomfortable. And considering we paid extra for an ocean view, I was quiet annoyed that the windows were small and very dirty. Just very disappointing.

De omgeving en de ligging van het resort. Er was altijd thee en koffie.

De faciliteiten vielen tegen. De stoelen in de kamer waren slecht. Er was geen bestek of iets in de kamer. Een mogelijk voor ontbijt op de resort en omgeving was er niet. Wel een magnetron in de hal, maar je moest dan altijd een diepvriesmaaltijd halen in de supermarkt.

The staff was great, there was a coffee station with real cream, a microwave, toaster, cutlery, plates and cups that could be taken back to the room.

Unfortunately, the grounds really needed attention. It's a lovely setting but not much attention was paid to the flowerbeds or yard. As well, it took three tries to get one of the key cards to work.

I wish there was a microwave and kettle or coffee pot in room , its nice its all available down in the lobby , but better if in the room

Weinig. Maar als ik iets moet noemen, dan de niet volledig aanwezig zijn van de start-benodigdheden, zoals peper, zout, keukenpapier, theedoek etc.

Incredible value for the view! Right on the oceanfront and they take incredible care of the property. Fireplace on site, meditation areas, rock garden, and the ocean view is unbeatable!!!! Our beds were not great, but we got the cheapest room so we got what we paid for. It was still a nice place to rest our head and I think if you pay a different rat, you get a better room. Our room also had a decent size fridge which was nice for being on the go. There is also a shared space with games and tables, coffee available 24/7, friendly staff, and a toaster/microwave in the shared space. 1000000% would stay there again!

The beds weren't great. However it was the cheapest room not only in the hotel, but on that sections of the island. So it was understandable!

The hotel property was beautiful and had great access to the beach. Overall, the room was very clean and staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was very small and outdated and the furniture and television needed significant upgrading. It felt more like a dorm room than a comfortable hotel room. We were surprised how small the space was and lacked amenities for the price. The room lacked comfortable chairs for reading/relaxing and bedside lighting/lamps and sufficient space for storing suitcases.

The location was fantastic! Right on the ocean with a nice area to walk and disconnect.

The steam room was only open from 4 pm to 8 pm. Could be longer as the guests that we’re staying there at the Retreat, we’re told to use it after they got back to the hotel in the early evening as part of their therapy.

The location has seen better days. When we checked in there was ONE person on staff and the poor guy was trying to do his best but was run off his feet. My duvet cover had stains on it so we asked him to change it which he tried to do. The room was clean but basic and again well used. The grounds are not well maintained and there are several deep potholes in the parking lot you should watch for and avoid. Our key card stopped working and the staff person said it's a chronic problem because the door card readers are old and in need of replacement. Our room had a partial view over the downstairs building and the roof was full of standing water and old construction bits. Sad because this property likely had quite a heyday with its ocean side location and size of the property. Today it is a bit of a sad property where the owners have not put any money into maintenance, likely cash cowing it for a future development. We stayed one night and it was good enough for us.

checking bedding for stains seems pretty basic but they were short on housekeeping staff; obvious lack of maintenance and upkeep on the property; one staff person to handle all issues (ours were pretty basic - replace stained (gross) bedding and reissue room key card)

Wir waren für eine Nacht da, auf unserer Rundreise mit dem Auto. Es hat ein bisschen Jugendherbergscharakter. Ich mag das. Der Sundowner ein Traum. Etwas veraltet aber Charme. Auch für ein paar Tage länger ausreichend. Und morgens frischer Kaffee, den man am Meer genießen kann.

The old rules such as "put linens in bags" were left in the room although they no longer apply. It was necessary to run the air conditioner because there was so much noise from the road.

Easy access to the rooms and lots of parking. Location is great and I prefer to be out of the town of Campbell River. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Air conditioning was extreme - it was too cold in the room when I arrived. I couldn't seem to turn it down so I just shut it off.

Das Ocean Resort punktet vor allem durch seine tolle Lage direkt am Meer. Wir haben aufgrund eines Fehlers bei der Buchung der Zimmerkategorie letztlich ein Upgrade erhalten, und das Zimmer war sehr gut, trotz klitzekleiner Schönheitsfehler.

Das erste Zimmer, das wir fälschlich bekamen, sah nicht gut aus. Sehr klein, Blick auf ein schmutziges Dach und keine gute Ausstattung. Deshalb bei der Buchung vielleicht lieber Meerblick buchen.

We were greeted like welcome guests upon arrival and the check in experience was fast and smooth. The room was clean and cozy. There was an easy path to the beach and seating on the property overlooking the ocean.

The only thing we didn't love was that the TV was older and small. It wouldn't have mattered if we weren't traveling with our grandkids.

Our ocean view side room looked freshly decorated as was the reception space. Great view towards the sea from room and balcony. Room was clean tidy and comfortable we enjoyed our stay. Reception staff pleasant and helpful.

The lobby has a sitting area to have a complimentary coffee or tea, and they have games and puzzles. You can walk out the back door and you’re just a few steps from the beach. The rooms are very nice.

This is just perfect for us because we can have a comfortable room on ground level with a fridge and access to a microwave and the beautiful view is a bonus. We come here on occasion to be close to family.

Het zou zo leuk kunnen zijn . Spijtig genoeg was er geen interactie van het personeel naar ons toe . Op de koop toe was er net een trouwfeest gepland. Wij wisten van niets . The location was great, back green space leading to the beach. Rooms were nice and comfortable, have board games in the common area and little coffee area.

Het uitzicht de locatie is fantastisch. Je kunt naar de zee lopen en wij zagen zelfs dolfijnen zwemmen. Zeer vriendelijk personeel die hun best doet.

Alles is oud, in onze kamer deed de gewone verlichting het niet er stond een gammele lamp die het matig deed. Geluid van andere gasten. Slechts een stopcontact beschikbaar. De toegangskaarten voor de deur, drie keer opnieuw laten opladen want deden het niet meer. Al met al is dit hotel klaar voor een flinke onderhoudsbeurt.

Superb Value, friendly and helpful check in staff, great location, clean and it had a steam room which was nice after a day of adventuring. Really enjoyed our stay here. Only thing is that it can be noisy on the lower floor from Bedrooms above.

We chose this for a one night stop, easy to find, easy check-in/out, had an ocean view room and eateries close by. All very enjoyable.

The back of the hotel overlook the water, it was lovely just to relax there. The staff were very helpful and the 24/7 coffee was very welcoming. The price was very reasonable compared to other accommodation in the area.

Excellent! Over my expectations!

Stunning location - from the garden over the water to the mainland. We stayed in room without a view the first night at a very reasonable price - then they had a self contained suite available right on the waters edge - which we upgraded to - truly spectacular - awesome. Staff really helpful.

Only slight drawback - they don’t do breakfast - so if you do not have the fully equipped suite - you will need to travel for breakfast
