The Circus Apartments

Modern. Very clean. Very very Spacious ( glad we paid just a bit more than another choice , once I’d spotted the ft2 area on description, something often overlooked ) Safe & secure. Huge beds very comfy. Quiet and soundproofed, but amenities, bars restaurants just a stroll. Staff very friendly and welcoming, above average I would say. They even have a ‘smorgasbord’ of snacks , in jars that residents can help themselves to during their stay. Perhaps a dozen or more options from peanuts to cookies to dried fruit to cake etc.

Absolutely nothing to dislike 🤷🏻‍♂️

Great location with many eateries, shops, and supermarkets close by. Easy access to public transportation. The room is quiet and confortable. Indoor/outdoor balcony is a plus. Concierge was great to answer questions and provide assistance.

Bathtub is a bit high for me (5’3) to get in and out. Couldn’t figure out how to shower without flooding the bathroom.

Bäddsoffan var otroligt oskön och när vi påtalade det fick vi ingen respons från personalen. Det var bara bäddat med ett täcke i dubbelsängen och handdukar bara för två personer men det löste personalen så fort vi påpekade det

We were there only for one night so our experience is based on this. The staff was very friendly and explained everything , the location was great, in a quiet street, 5 min' from the main area of all restaurants, bars, some shopping....we used their parking space, which was very good.

Appartement Meyer loué pour une semaine. Très bonne expérience avec parking sur place (20€/jour) et terasse couverte sympathique. Quartier au top. Très bonne literie. Les seuls points à améliorer : le confort du canapé et disposer d'une vraie machine à café ☺️

We love the Circus Apartments. This was our second visit to Berlin and we have stayed in the apartments both times. They are located in a fantastic area, close to lots of great independent coffee shops, bars, and shops, as well as having great subway and tram connections. The apartments are well finished and feel like a home away from home. But what really makes them special is the attention and effort the staff go to to make everything as could as it can be. We had a problem on arrival with one apartment. These things happen but the measure of business is how it responds. The staff, including one of the owners, could not have been more helpful and keen to put things right. Always, making the effort to check in afterwards and to chat about what we were up to. It was exactly the right way to handle things and we had a fab week. Would highly recommend and we wouldn't stay anywhere else in Berlin. The only downside is that there aren't any Circus apartments in other European cities!!

The apartment was tastefully decorated, spotless, and had all the essentials. We traveled with a 1.5-year old, and the property provided a beautiful crib and high chair, making our stay very comfortable. The apartment also had a fully-stocked kitchen and a comfortable desk for work. The location is perfect: right in the heart of Berlin Mitte and yet on a quiet leafy street, with our windows opening into Inner Hof, so very quiet at night. The staff were friendly and helpful.

wow! what a perfect place. its our second time there. we stayed at one of the apartments, it was even too big! with a little balcony and big rooms. the stuff are so kind and helpful, the area is great in the city. thank you so much!

I stayed a week - really liked have a decent washing machine and dryer in the basement - with powder and all the bits was a lovely surprise. Getting vouchers for breakfast in the cafe downstairs was ideal - so anytime after 8am you could wander down - none of this 'breakfast finishes at 10am nonsense'

I really am struggling to think of ways they could improve - it was near perfect in my opinion. Its a touch expensive but i'd stay here again without hesitation.

Intro If you are considering staying with the circus apartments, I can tell you right now to book your stay without hesitation. Here's why! The apartment My family and I stayed at the "Gross" apartment on the sixth floor. The apartment was large, spacious, and well decorated. The view from the balcony was incredible and from the rooftop even better. There were plenty of comfortable seats both on the roof and in the house. Additionally, the attention to detail was spectacular - from the clothes bag in the shower to the arranged soaps, the option to lend umbrellas, yoga mats, or even houseplants for free, and the incredibly well-organized laundry room downstairs. The conceriege Any guest staying at the circus apartments has access to the conceriege service. The office is manned by some of the loveliest, friendliest, most knowledgeable people. Their insight about history, attractions in the city, and modes of transportation is unparalleled, and taking the time to consult with them is always worth it. Special shout out to May, an absolutely amazing human being (May if you're reading this we love you!!!!) and Andreas, owner of the circus, whose passion for his job is absolutely inspiring. The breakfast Choosing the "breakfast included" option will give you breakfast vouchers to the neighboring café - Erchy's. This is the best cafe I have ever been to. My family and I stayed here for five days so we got to try out roughly the whole menu, and let me tell you - every single dish easily earns the rank of "art". They are well thought out, flavorful, generous in portion, and most importantly, delicious. They are incredible and I cannot recommend them enough. One tip though - ask for the tomato soup/hot chocolate to be extra warmed up to get the full experience out of them. Conclusion Visit the circus apartments. You will not regret your choice :)

Myself and my family stayed in the circus apartments for 1 week. The apartment was spacious, with a long balcony in the living area. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee and a stove top espresso maker. The living area was large and comfortable - with ample seating for us all. The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms spacious and quiet. The apartment was in a great location- a short walk from Alexanderplatz. There were lots of great restaurants in walking distance from our apartment and a good supermarket 5 minutes walk away. What I really loved about the circus apartments was the lovely staff at reception. They were so helpful- gave us lots of advice when we first arrived and were always keen for us to take some of the free snacks available at reception! They even gave me a yoga mat so I could do some yoga each morning! I'd definitely come back to the Circus apartments- I loved it.

e stayed here as a family and had an outstanding experience. The hotel is beautiful, the apartment was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable for a family stay, with everything we needed close by. What truly stood out was the service. The staff handled our request for flexibility with exceptional understanding, fairness, and genuine hospitality, going well beyond expectations. Service like this is rare. We would happily return and highly recommend

We really liked this place. Clean and well appointed, and in a good central location. We prefer staying in apartments rather than hotels because the extra room is great. And this was no more expensive than a hotel. Free laundry machines in the basement, and free snacks in the concierge room (office). Highly recommend!

The location and staff were nice.

The space and overall experience felt more like a hostel, rather than an elevated apartment. The shower was uncomfortable, dangerously high and soaked the floor if not angled just the right way. The floors were not properly cleaned, there were dust bunnies and hairs throughout. The biggest disappointment and issue was the bed linens, they were a polyester blend that was extremely uncomfortable and scratchy. The high ratings are very misleading.

A shower door or curtain would be helpful on the bathtub for showering, to stop water spraying out onto floor. Bottom dishwasher rack did not function well.

I travelled with my wife and two-year-old daughter to the Circus Apartments and, frankly, it blew us away. I haven't stayed anywhere in a long time where I had such a strong desire to *not* leave at the end of our holiday, and we're all pining to come back at some point. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful (great kinderplatz recommendations!), the general premises were clean and modern, there were even free snacks (vegan cake!) in the reception area. But crikey, the apartment... Massive, modern, everything we could have needed (even a washbasket), comfortable, free coffee, toys provided for the sprog, a cot set up when we arrived, a lovely balcony to stare at the (cherry?) blossoms from. I would have been happy with something 50% as good as this was, so we were genuinely blown away by the place. Additionally the location was fantastic, surrounded by delightful cafes, bakeries, restaurants, and shops, and with fantastic public transport links to the rest of Berlin and beyond. It made our day trip to Leipzig even more enjoyable that getting from and back to the apartment was as straightforward as it was. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be looking to return in future.

We had issues - we went to the wrong Circus property, the internet wasn't functional when we arrived, the bathplug wouldn't come unstuck. But the first was our fault, the second wasn't a big deal and was fixed by the next day, and the third was sorted the same day. None of them actually mattered or impacted our enjoyment at all.

Breakfast is served all day in a sit down cafe downstairs and is absolutely delicious! Dishes have a Mediterranean flare and are extremely flavorful. The apartment itself was sparkling clean and spacious with gorgeous windows. Staff present between 7 am and 9 pm downstairs, all incredibly friendly and helpful with all of our logistics!

The apartments are modern, beautiful and well equipped. A lot of details are very nice, like good soap, and great kitchen accessories. The staff was extremely helpful and easy to contact, not some deserted apartment building operated with key boxes. It felt more like a hotel. I was staying with my teenage daughter. We asked to use the sleeping sofa for her. The staff not only brought the bed linnen, but actually set up the whole bed with the linnen, so everything was waiting for us when we returned later that night. The neighborhood is really wonderful and for most activities in Berlin, the south side of Prenzlauer Berg is the best location for a home base.

Booking our stay at the Circus Apartments was one of my best decisions regarding our trip to Germany. The accommodations were very clean and spacious, especially the living area, and included all modern conveniences. Two bedrooms, one with twin beds, so our family with a teenage son and daughter had plenty of space. Huge windows so we could watch the locals go about their day. Two good-sized bathrooms. We loved the location, as we were staying where the locals live, but within walking distance of tourist attractions and the train station. The concierges were so kind and gladly helped us with our requests (and spoke English!).

Awesome location, plenty of space and kind staff. Cannot get better than this! It feels like living in Berlin for a bit and in such lively and comfortable neighbourhood. The apartment is well decorated and stocked it’s really easy to just start living in there - great kitchen and everything, really. Staff was also super helpful to provide all support needed and answering our requests.

From the start of our stay it was all positive . Sabina greeted us and was so welcoming . The facilities were spacious clean and we had everything we needed.

Prachtig appartement. Mijn schoonzus die voor haar werk heel veel hotels heeft bezocht, heeft in al die hotels nooit zo’n praktische en zalige badkamer gezien, wil wat zeggen. Uitstekende ligging en zeer vriendelijke mensen aan de receptie. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding onvoorstelbaar goed.

Wij waren met vijf. Maar eigenlijk is het een appartement voor vier. Er ontbrak een vijfde stoel aan de eettafel. De sofa waar de vijfde persoon dan moet slapen, was al veranderd in een, toegeven, prachtig bed. We hebben dat maar zo gelaten, maar daardoor hadden we niet echt een sofa om aan het eind van de dag gezellig samen te zien. Conclusie: top appartement voor vier, het wordt iets moeilijker voor vijf.

We stayed in the apartments, and they were truly exceptional. Every little detail had been thoughtfully taken care of. We really appreciated the interior design, the attention to detail, and the warm, welcoming attitude.

Very good location. Able to walk to many of the tourist destinations but also close to Public Transport facilities. Staff were extremely helpful. The 3 bedroom apartment was very comfortable for our family of 6. Good Laundry Facilities.

Shower in the second bathroom (of Hermann apartment) was not enclosed over the bath so difficult to use without spraying water everywhere.

The location was great, a relatively quiet side street but extremely walkable to all of the food and shops in Torstrasse area, and close to all the big tourist attractions via quick transit/uber ride or even walk (ie a little over 22 min from TV Tower). Our 3-bedroom/2-bath apartment layout was so spacious, modern, and clean, and was excellent for our family which included my two pre-teens, my husband and I, and my elderly in-laws. The beds were comfortable, and there was more than enough room for organizing clothes and luggage. Tons of outlets for devices and dedicated wi-fi for the suite. The two bathrooms were spacious and nice. We were there for a week so they asked in advance what day would be good for a midweek refresh, and everything felt tidy and maintained throughout. We were all very comfortable resting and relaxing there between all of the long days of sightseeing. Free 24-hr access to laundry facilities in the basement was so convenient, even stocked with multiple detergent options. We frequently enjoyed the espresso machine and snacks in the concierge. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with utensils and cookware and even a dishwasher if we had wanted to cook. The cafe downstairs was excellent for breakfast. The experience was so much better than staying in a hotel with a larger multi-generational family group like ours. I would definitely stay there again, as well as recommend to friends considering travel to Berlin.

My father-in-law slipped in the shower, he wanted me to let the management know that the tiles were quite slippery when wet.
