Reviewed Sep 12, 2026The entrance was beautiful and the staff was very friendly. Loved the welcoming drink and treats gifts in our room . was also given a map and told best places to visit . You could also use the onsen even with tattoos
When looking for a ryokan stay this looked amazing with views of Nara park and an outside bath on balcony but our room had rooftop views and side of building views and no balcony with bath . We could have just stayed in a cheap hotel and saved our money

客室。あれ、こんな部屋を予約したのかな？というこじんまりした部屋。デザイン性（見栄え）にこだわったような部屋特に天井。しかし、座椅子より和室用の椅子(座面高さ20cm)の方が高齢者には優しい。こあがりは全く無用。こんなのにこだわるならツインベッドをこのスペースにおいて欲しい。無駄なデザイン性やこだわりは不要で、利便性に重きを置くべき。エレベータが1基のみ。料理は旨くもなくまず苦も無い普通。特徴なし。二人で一泊2食で約5万円。Booking.com経由（楽天から調べて誘導された）。私の評価は部屋代12000円 料理2食で16000円（二人分）東大寺の近くというだけでこれはコスパ悪い。

Reviewed Aug 28, 2026東大寺の見学を第一目的にしていたので、東大寺へのアクセスがとてもよく満足でした。 宿泊したのは8月で、日中はとても暑い日でしたが、夜は割と涼しく、屋上テラスのソファでくつろぐのが気持ち良かったです。 フロントスタッフの方がとても親切で、観光地へのアクセスなどいろいろ教えてくださいました。

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026Wir wurden überaus freundlich und einladend empfangen und während des gesamten Aufenthaltes bis zum Check out hat sich daran nichts geändert. Die Ausstattung, Dachterrasse mit Blick auf den Todai-ji, Onsen, allgemeine Aufenthaltsräume sind super. Die Nähe zu Nara Park und Todai-ji sowie zur Altstadt in Nara ist sehr günstig. Das traditionelle und auch westliche Frühstück, was jeden Tag wählbar ist, lässt keine Wünsche offen.

Reviewed Aug 13, 2026子供（2才、6才）を連れて行きましたが、縁日やキッズスペースなどスタッフさんのホスピタリティが高く、気持ちよく過ごすことができました。入り口からお部屋まで至るところに隠し鹿があり、子供たちは一生懸命探していました(笑) 大仏殿まで徒歩5分と近く、疲れてもすぐにホテルに戻ることができたので立地も最高です。露天風呂付きのお部屋に泊まりましたが、暑い日で汗だくだったのでいつでもお風呂に入れるのは嬉しかったです。また奈良に来ることがあれば利用したいと思います。
共同パントリーに洗い物を置くふきん等あれば嬉しかったです。

Reviewed Aug 12, 2026とにかく、奈良公園に近い。お料理も美味しいし、スタッフさんが、皆んな優しい。部屋は綺麗で、露天風呂付きを選びました。 15時までなら、1000円払えば、ホテルに駐車出来るし、12時までなら無料。以降は1時間500円でM AＸ15時。
だだ1つ。気になる事をお話しします。サービスで頂きました可愛い巾着の中のタオルが1つ。よそのホテル、旅館さんは、化粧水やら乳液やらパックやら入ってのサービスで提供されてますが、ここでは、ビニール袋にも入ってないタオルが1つ。何故かじっとりしていて、これは本当に新品か？と思ってしまいます。せめてプレゼントのタオルならば、ビニール袋に入ったものが良いのではないかと思います。

Le personnel désagréable et oppressant . Les repas , les moins bons de tout notre voyage au Japon. Je ne pensais pas que nous pouvions mal mangé dans ce pays . La chambre pour 4 personnes , ne proposant que 3 assises confortables … pourquoi ?

Reviewed Aug 10, 2026Traditional Japanese hotel yet with all modern comfort. Located in a calm area in a close walking distance from the Nara Park. Very kind staff and nice experience to try the hot public bath. Wonderful rooftop bar at night. Would have loved to stay longer!

Reviewed Aug 8, 2026Nous avons passé une nuit à l’hôtel new wakasa et en sommes ravis ! Dès l’arrivée, nous avons été très bien accueillis et on nous a donné toutes les infos utiles sur l’hôtel et les principaux points d’intérêt de Nara. L’hôtel est très bien situé, à 5 min à pieds des principaux temples et du parc aux cerfs. Notre chambre était splendide, dans un style japonais épuré et chaleureux avec onsen privé sur le balcon, en plein air. Ils offrent également de nombreux petits cadeaux (boissons dans le minibar, sacs de tissus japonais, etc), ce qui donne une impression globale de générosité et d’hospitalité au delà de nos attentes. Pour finir, ils proposent également une visite gratuite sur mesure avec un guide anglophone des attractions de Nara. Notre guide, Masahiro, était très sympathique et nous avons appris plein de choses grâce à lui, merci ! Si vous avez l’occasion n’hésitez pas à réserver une visite guidée cela vaut le coup ! En conclusion, nous recommandons cet établissement sans réserve 👍

Но вот номер для нас конечно был уж очень маловат, просто надо это понимать, мы высокие и сидеть на полу неудобно и спать тоже потому что футоны очень тонкие, когда отдыхали в других рёканах было на много комфортней

La chambre était conforme aux photos et très confortable. Notre meilleure nuit lors de notre voyage. Nous avons presque regretté de ne pas avoir pris les repas pour une expérience complète.

Unprofessional staff lacking a basic sense of hospitality and emphaty. We booked a room with 6 futons and they just provided 2. We are 2 adults + 1 child and they dind't want to give the child a futon, with a room that was 900 SGD per night... It's pretty basic that we don't want our child to sleep on the floor, but they couldn't understand it. We had to call Booking to make it happen. Breakfast is not suitable for vegans. We asked to prepare some fruit and soy yogurt (nothing crazy)... literally half slide of melon, two blueberries, 1 strawberry, and 1 slice of orange, and no yogurt. Just soup with milk (and we're vegan, so we couldnt have it). We asked for more blueberries for our child and they even asked for payment of 300 yen (3 SGD). Ridicolous. Do not recommend.

部屋の間取り、トイレが狭い、眺望最悪、チェックアウト時に飲み物清算を現金のみと言われる、タクシー予約で時間指定が出来ない、宿泊者のリクエストに答える気持ちが無く、何か？依頼をすると、奈良ではこれが普通的な回答しか返って来ない。

外出中に布団を敷きますと言ってた割には敷かれてなかった。 食事する天井部分にほこりがあった。 ４人と伝えていたはずなのに３人分しか用意がされていなかった。 トイレと風呂が同じ空間であったため、どちらかを使用中であれば片方は使えないなど不便だった。 それであれば最初からユニットバスと表示してほしい

Nous avons néanmoins trouvé que le rapport qualité prix n’était pas au rendez vous : les futons sont très inconfortables, les rangements inexistants et la chambre assez exiguë in fine : impossible d’y circuler une fois les lits installés. Isolation phonique très moyenne. Dîner kaiseki sympa mais pas fou pour le prix (10000y par personne)

Je ne supporte plus ces hôtels qui vous impose un Check-in à 15h et un Check-out avant 10h … Pas possible de dîner au restaurant, pas possible de dîner en chambre, pas possible de dîner au bar malgré ce qui nous a été annoncé à la réception.

Reviewed Apr 13, 2026Our suite was a splurge, and worth every penny! Our family of 4 stayed here for my birthday and the Omizutori festival on March 12th. We enjoyed our private onsen, cold plunge, and sauna, before walking to the festival. The hotel kindly scheduled our dinner after the festival time. The kids also enjoyed a scavenger hunt and prize, and we all liked the rooftop treats and views. Breakfast was wonderful with a large variety of offerings-we sampled it all.
