The location was great and it was easy to reach everywhere on foot. The staff was helpful and answered all the questions kindly. The terrace has fantastic views to enjoy.

I booked private room to feel comfortable. Unfortunately cleanliness did not match my expectations. Also despite closing the windows, there was too much noise from outside that I had to wake up 3-4 times during night. And some bugs bit me through all over my body (I don’t know bedbugs or what else), I got horrible bumps:(

Quelle plaisir de passer la soirée et le petit déjeuner sur cette terrasse ! Le personnel était vraiment sympathique, le thé offert le matin un régal, et la chambre et salle de bain privée était parfaitement propre. J’ai passé une de mes meilleures nuits, le lit était vraiment confortable. Le logement dans l’ensemble a une belle décoration, et il est idéalement situé.

Purtroppo non posso parlarne benissimo, a parte il ragazzo che ha portato la colazione e la signora che l"ha preparata, il ragazzo molto gentile e disponibile

La pulizia non era eccellente, la camera delle mie ragazze non aveva la finestra esterna e il ventilatore non funzionava, c'è troppa roba nelle camere che non sono spaziose Ma la cosa peggiore e' stato il caos notturno che si svolgeva ogni notte, sotto la mia stanza, pertanto non si riusciva a dormire, inoltre c'era un viavai che non mi piaceva... Lontano dal mare Vicoli molto sporchi... poverino lo spazzino che passava la mattina e per un quarto d'ora le strade erano pulite!

The room I stayed had a strong musty smell, which made it quite uncomfortable. The hotel is located in the old town, so getting there requires climbing many flights of stairs and walking through narrow alleyways. Carrying or dragging luggage is extremely inconvenient. In addition, there was often an unpleasant smell in the alleyways leading to the hotel. While walking through the alleyways, a group of children shouted at me, local peopel staring at me, made me feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. As a solo traveler, I did not feel secure walking to and from the hotel.

Nada . Todos estaba correcto

Ho soggiornato in questa struttura complessivamente per 4 notti, cambiando camera una volta. Ho trovato una sistemazione accogliente ed essenziale e in linea con le aspettative, con una clientela giovane e internazionale. Ho apprezzato la cordialità, le chiacchiere e i consigli del direttore della struttura, Sadi, la gentilezza del personale per la preparazione di una deliziosa colazione e , la posizione dentro la Medina considerato che avevo tra gli obiettivi personali quello di scoprire proprio il cuore più antico di Tangeri. In ultimo, la terrazza rappresenta la ciliegina sulla torta: impagabile godere della vista sul porto e sulla Medina mentre si gode, magari sull'amica, il sole (o l'ombra) e il vento di una città meravigliosa.

La seconda camera nella quale ho alloggiato aveva una finestra sulla tromba delle scale e la notte, tra luci che si accendevano e che non venivano spente, rumore di passi e chiacchiere non ho dormito al meglio.

Accoglienza favolosa, stanza privata molto comoda e pulita, colazione tra le migliori provate in Marocco e abbondante. Connessione wifi ok anche per le call di lavoro e terrazza perfetta per rilassarsi.

Dormir en la Medina es algo mágico. El hostel tiene una terraza donde puedes ver todo el mar y la ciudad, y todas las mañanas tienes café y té incluído. Además, estás a pocos metros del Grand Café Central, donde puedes siempre encontrar un gran ambiente y comer o tomarte un té. Incluso estás muy cerca de negocios para comprar el chip para el teléfono. Nos recibieron muy bien, hablando español perfecto. Y la relación precio -calidad es muy buena. Incluso por unos 4 euros puedes pedir el desayuno en la terraza y probar algunas delicias marroquíes.

Nuestra habitación sólo tenía una pequeña ventana, pero eso estaba claro en las fotos de Booking, así que no me sorprendió.

Il palazzo è una vecchia casa signorile in pieno centro storico, colorato e accogliente. Il terrazzo con vista sui tetti e sul mare è la chicca della struttura, è grande e stupendo. La camera privata con bagno è confortevole e arredata in modo carino. Il personale della reception molto alla mano e poliglotta.

L'unico aspetto negativo è la colazione che propongono a un orario molto tardivo, scomodo quando si hanno escursioni o visite in programma.

Fantastic hostel in old medina. Perfect for exploring the area. Building is beautifully furnished - lots of character and individuality. All the rooms and linen are very clean. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Only stayed one night but definitely recommend.

My room opened onto the narrow st. No traffic but it was quite noisy when I went bed. Ear plugs recommended if you’re planning early night!

The staff was great, friendly and full of tips and information and always helping out when needed. Location is great. Superb breakfast. It is a great place to meet new people so if you are a young backpacker definitely stay here.

The matresses in the triple room with private bedroom are very bad. Not only did we not sleep because of noise from other guests but also from barking dogs outside. The room could use some attention like fixing toilet seat, door knobs and wash basin tab but also a good cleaning. We are suffering from allergies and they were triggered non stop in the room.

L' emplacement est top, l' hôtel est authentique et confortable. Le roof top est très sympa et convivial. Le personnel est accueillant, bienveillant, et soucieux de leurs clients. Je recommande à 100%.

Chouette hostel en plein centre de la médina de Tanger. Nadi le propriétaire est exceptionnel. Il aime sa ville et adore partager avec ses hôtes. Rapport qualité prix imbattable. Je reviendrai.

Nuestro viaje fue en familia tres mujeres solas, elegimos Bayt Alice Hostel, por sus comentarios positivos y la verdad superó nuestras expectativas, la comunicación previa con Nadir facilitó nuestra llegada, reservando con ellos el taxi de ida y vuelta al aeropuerto con un servicio honesto y seguro. Recuerda llevar el dinero en efectivo para pagar tu estadía, pagamos en euros a un cambio muy conveniente. Nadir habla español perfecto, francés, ingles y árabe y es muy resolutivo, servicial y amable, ante cualquier duda te ayuda a encontrar la mejor solución que se adapte a tus preferencias en tu estadía, recomendaciones de restaurante, Tour, taxi (puedes reservar con ellos) o traslados en bus, por ejemplo Chefchaouen hicimos el viaje en CTM, empresa de bus local, puntual y segura. Esta casa antigua de tres plantas, está llena de detalles y rincones curiosos, la terraza es la estrella donde puedes pasar tu tiempo con vista al mar, hay una cocina comunitaria y nevera, por la mañanas sirven un desayuno de pago muy tentador y hay café y te de menta gratis, muy cerca una panadería popular. La distribución de las habitaciones en las diferentes plantas hace que cada uno tenga su intimidad. La relación calidad precio es muy buena y la amabilidad supero nuestras expectativas. Para llegar al alojamiento, una vez te conoces el camino es muy facil, desde la plaza 9 avril , entras por la puerta Bad al Fahs, luego puerta Fendak Zraa, caminas hacia el Gran Café Central que será la referencia en el socco para luego buscar las calles internas que te dirigen a la casa. Nosotras usamos la app Organic Maps,que funciona sin tener datos descargas los mapas antes de viajar o con wifi y funciona super bien para saber donde estás, volvimos por la noche tarde y ningún problema, una ciudad muy sorprendentemente vivaz. No te pierdas los desayunos del Cafe Paris y las comidas del restaurante Bachir o 10 min caminando de la plaza 9 de avril en la ciudad nueva.

Riad situato in posizione comodissima, nel cuore della Medina, con tutto a portata di mano. La struttura è davvero carina, accogliente e curata nei dettagli. Il proprietario si è dimostrato estremamente gentile e disponibile, rendendo il soggiorno ancora più piacevole. Consigliato!

Au cœur de la médina, la situation est parfaite pour passer deux jours à Tanger. L'hébergement est confortable, la déco d'objets, photos et cartes hétéroclite est sympa et la terrasse est un bel endroit pour prendre thé ou café à disposition le matin.

Bruyant lorsqu'on a une chambre sur la rue: des personnes stagnent sous la fenêtre et parlent jusque tard dans la nuit. Pas d'eau chaude le soir.

Nadi fue de mucha ayuda. La terraza es muy bonita y las camas cómodas.

La ubicación me pareció insegura, está bien situado, pero para acceder hay que recorrer un laberinto de callejuelas estrechas en las que nos sentimos inseguros e incluso vimos gente drogándose en plena tarde. Por la noche no pudimos dormir porque, aunque cerramos las contraventanas y ventanas, se escuchaban peleas y gritos hasta las cuatro y media de la madrugada aproximadamente y era la noche del domingo al lunes.

Posizione - senza dubbio il terrazzo con amaca e possibilità di completo relax - l' offerta quotidiana al mattino di tè alla menta in terrazza - la possibilità di usare una piccola cucina - la camera e il letto erano buoni.

Nella mia camera problema al sifone che sono sicuro verrà risolto e purtroppo (ma non dipende dalla struttura) il vociferare praticamente tutta la notte dalle viette intorno.

Un séjour exceptionnel à Bay Alice Hostel ! L’accueil est tout simplement magnifique, chaleureux et attentionné. La maison est pleine de charme, avec une décoration soignée qui crée une ambiance unique. La terrasse offre une vue imprenable sur la mer, un vrai plaisir à tout moment de la journée. Le petit déjeuner marocain est délicieux et généreux. Le tout avec un excellent rapport qualité-prix. Une adresse à recommander sans hésitation !

L’emplacement est top en pleins dans la médina, on a pu accéder à tout à pied c’était super ! Le personnel est super gentil on a pu discuter avec et ils nous ont conseillé sur pleins de choses, ce qui nous a beaucoup aidé pour notre séjour.

Notre chambre donnait côté rue et il y avait énormément de bruit la nuit..

Die schöne Dachterasse mit Blick auf den Hafen und das Meer. Frühstück auf der Dachterasse, gute Kommunikation und Hilfe beim Besorgen eines Taxis.

Das Hochbett ist sehr hoch und die Leiter ist unbequem. Der angegebene Balkon ist nur ein kleiner Austritt. Auf der Straße ist es auch in der Nacht laut.

Un Riad precioso, decorado con mucho gusto y bien ubicado. La habitación muy cómoda. El anfitrión y el personal super amables. Muy recomendable.

Ancienne maison dans la médina transformée en hostel et qui a beaucoup de charme, avec une belle décoration. On se sent immédiatement chez soi. Les chambres, très propres, sont équipées de l'essentiel (douche, toilettes, très bon savon à la lavande, serviettes très propres). Literie un peu dure mais ce n'est pas grave car tout dépend des goûts. Un radiateur est à disposition et qui chauffe très bien pour les nuits fraîches en mars. Le propriétaire est très sympathique et de très bons conseils. Le petit déjeuner sur l'immense terrasse est bon et copieux. Enfin un service très utile : on peut changer ses euros au taux officiel, cela permet de ne pas perdre son temps pour aller dans un bureau de change. Je recommande cet hostel qui est très bien situé pour visiter la médina le souk ainsi que la kasbah d'où la vue sur la baie de Tanger est magnifique.

What's not to like?! The riad is stunning, spotless clean, and the perfect location. What made my stay the best was certainly the staff who work there. I travel abroad often, and have never been treated with more kindness than I did from the staff at Bayt Alice. I can't wait to return and stay there again.

Abbiamo trascorso tre notti in questo ostello nel cuore della Medina di Tangeri e l’esperienza è stata semplicemente indimenticabile. Il posto è bellissimo: curato nei dettagli, con un arredamento pieno di stile e carattere, camere e bagno impeccabilmente puliti e una terrazza panoramica meravigliosa da cui godersi l’atmosfera della città. La posizione è perfetta per vivere davvero Tangeri. Uscendo dalla porta ci si ritrova subito nel dedalo di vicoli e viuzze della Medina, dove è bellissimo perdersi e lasciarsi sorprendere. È stata un’esperienza immersiva e intensa, difficile persino da descrivere a parole. In soli tre giorni abbiamo vissuto emozioni che porteremo con noi per sempre: è stato davvero il viaggio della vita. Un ringraziamento speciale va a Nadi, che è stato straordinariamente gentile, disponibile e premuroso dall’inizio alla fine. Ha organizzato per noi il transfer dall’aeroporto sia all’arrivo che alla partenza, rendendo tutto semplice e senza stress. Ma soprattutto ha fatto qualcosa che non dimenticherò mai: su mia richiesta ha organizzato una piccola sorpresa di compleanno per il mio fidanzato. Non era assolutamente tenuto a farlo, eppure si è preso il tempo di andare apposta in pasticceria per prendere ciò che gli avevo chiesto. Un gesto di una gentilezza rara, ancora più significativo considerando che tutto questo è avvenuto durante il Ramadan. Davvero non ho parole per descrivere quanto abbiamo apprezzato la sua attenzione e la sua ospitalità. Ci siamo sentiti accolti con un calore autentico. Consiglierei questo posto a chiunque voglia vivere Tangeri in modo autentico. Non è solo un alloggio: è un’esperienza che resta nel cuore.

Notre erreur, il s'agissait d'un Hostel et pas hotel, nous n'étions pas préparé à partager des chemabres voir une douche. . .

The rooftop was beautiful. The room was practical. The bathroom was the best one we had in Morocco. The staff was so kind and helpful. Amazing vibes.

Good place to stay in Tangier. Tidy but with bathroom and toilet in the room is nice.

La disponibilité et la grande gentillesse de l’équipe

The rooftop view was the best in Tangier, I'll never forget the sunsets we experienced from there, and the breakfasts were cheap and delicious. The staff were very welcoming and created a relaxed vibe throughout our stay.

The location was terrible, almost impossible to find and Tangier is not the safest city so I found lots of scammers trying to direct us on the way, it was very hilly and overall stressful to get in and out of.

The room was clean and well-appointed. This riad is similar to a hostel, with private rooms (which we stayed in) and shared rooms for solo travellers. The terrace of the riad was a highlight - it was spacious and had comfortable places to sit and enjoy the view of the city. Bonus - there is a cat who lives on the roof!

Our room was two twin beds rather than a queen, but we were aware of this when we booked.

Our room was dirty and no toilet seat,someone’s dirty socks under the bed,and other travelers staying were very noisy too,so we wouldn’t recommend this place unfortunately,but the manager was very helpful.

Le logement est un peu bruyant, nous donnions sur rue donc nous pouvions entendre les habitants dans la rue

Vraiment très très bien accueilli, même recueilli avec le temps pluvieux. Comme à la maison avec la cuisine sur la terrasse du toit. Et j’ai apprécié le confort de la magnifique Chambre des Portraits, avec son chauffage afin de sécher mes vêtements.

Les gérants sont hyper sympa. Bonne ambiance générale. Ne pas oublier les boules quiès!!

It can get noisy until late when other guests are hanging out in the common area or on the terrace.

La persona que nos atendió muy amable.

Fue solo una noche, pero no fue agradable. Estaba muy escondido, huele mal la calle, daba sensación de peligro. La habitación no era agradable, camas incómodas, colchas con manchas de hongos y humedad, las toallas manchadas. Una de las camas estaba sobre el baño, pero no tenia techo solo tablas, lo que hace que al ducharse salga el vapor y se impregne la humedad en el colchón. El baño salía mal olor y el ruido entre habitaciones por los otros huéspedes y también de la calle.
