The whole building needs deep cleaning, the room was tired, flakey paint, mould, you couldn't see out of the blown double glazed window, one towel was thread bare. The stairs up to the room were dirty, there were cobwebs in the breakfast room.

Didn't like that we was at the top of the building with 4 flights of stairs to climb.There was mould in the bathroom and some on the bedroom window.I presume where it was so cold that the windows wasn't opened. In September,the evenings are a bit chilly,but there was no heating on in the six days we was there.Did mention that it was chilly to staff and they said yes she had noticed other guests had put a blanket on there bed.So she brought us a blanket.It was very unpleasant having a shower with no heating.Also the towels hadn't dried properly for the next day as the heated towel radiator was cold.It felt very damp in the room.

EVERYTHING EXCEPT WE WERE ACCUSED OF SMOKING IN THE ROOM. I am 80 and have not smoked since 21 ! my wife gave up smoking last year due to advice given by hospital . My son admitted making rolly's in room , but not smoking in the room . WE OBAY THE RULES !

Location and parking were good. Room was clean and beds comfortable although the room was on the small side. The lady serving breakfast was very nice. Unfortunately there was lots of doors slamming which was not pleasant during late evening.

The location was good. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was clean. There was a good supply of tea, coffee and biscuits in the room. Breakfast was served cheerfully and was generous.

The City Inn is much in need of renovation and was quite tatty! The bathroom was particularly shabby. The whole place is stuck in the eighties!

Good location, comfortable beds, staff at breakfast and on the bar were very friendly. Very reasonable price for the area. A bit dated but mostly clean.

Poor soundproofing between rooms - lots of noise from the rooms around/upstairs were noisy until the early hours (not really a fault of the hotel, more of the other guests). Breakfast good but not as nice as it had been on previous stays - felt like it had been microwaved? Older gentleman checking us in was a bit grumpy. No one present at check out - think the same man was in the cluttered staff area - he just grunted for us to leave the keys on the side. Some mould in the bathroom. No parking spaces left on a few occasions.

Great location, plenty of off street parking, dining faculty and a bar were added advantage, good sized beds and other room conveniences (including decaf coffee - which was a thoughtful addition:). Host and staff were very friendly and very responsive. Had a wonderful stay and would love to come back.

Perhaps breakfast hours can be extended to 8-10am instead of 8-9am.

Excellent location in the heart of St Davids, within easy walking distance of everything in the city. The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was good, and having both parking and Wi-Fi included made the stay very convenient. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and happy to help with any questions we had. Overall, everything worked exactly as expected, which made for a very enjoyable and stress-free stay.

I cant believe there are no fridges in the rooms. No excuse. At all. Also we were in room 3, the room above creaked so much when people walked, i thought the ceiling was going to come down.

Je zit boven een bar, je moet rekening houden met wat harde muziek tot laat op de avond.

Klasyczny walijski hotel w mieście. Standardowej wielkości pokoje bez klimatyzacji. Czysto. Przed hotelem bardzo dobry market. Blisko do wszystkich atrakcji. Przystanek autobusowy 50 m. Śniadania z karty, podawane w walijskim stylu.

W trakcie zameldowania okazało się, że przydzielono nam inny pokój. Zapytano nas o zgodę na tę zmianę i ją wyraziliśmy. Po wejściu do pokoju okazało się jednak, że nie został on w pełni przygotowany na pobyt dwóch osób – brakowało kubków i ręczników. Nie mogę też nie wspomnieć o przesympatycznej pani serwującej śniadanie, która z ogromnym entuzjazmem i bardzo barwnym słownictwem opowiadała o swojej radości z jego podawania. Zauważyliśmy jednak, że miała podbite oko, co było po prostu bardzo przykrym widokiem. Było nam smutno z tego powodu. Mam szczerą nadzieję, że nic złego jej się nie stało. Girl power!

Great Breakfast, Great location, easy check in, we stayed in room 3 was a really great size for the 3 of us plenty of room and the beds were extremely comfortable after a day of coasteering. Short walk into the town for fish and chips and a drink in the pub garden. a Lovely stay shame we couldn't have stayed longer

Breakfast in the morning was amazing. Family room was quite spacious and clean.

Check in time of 4pm was quite late for us trying to pack so much in to a short stay, could have done with the room earlier.

I needed a place to stay on day 3 of my Pembrokeshire coast walk as the next day was meant to be bad weather and I didn't fancy packing up my tent in the rain. This place was relatively cheap, convenient and I had an amazing night sleep. One thing that stuck out for me the most though was I got up early in the morning to set off on day 4 of my hike. The weather was right and it was pouring down. It was going to be a long day... I was leaving too early for breakfast but just as I was about to go a lady stopped me. She said she could cook me up a bacon sandwich in a couple of mins. I waited and was handed a bag. After 10 minutes of walking I opened the bag up and was delighted to see my bacon sandwich, crisps, biscuits and a can of cola. It made my day and lifted up my morale to push on for the day ❤️

Very good location and parking. Very easy check-in. Friendly staff. Comfortable quiet room.

Would have liked some fruit with the cereal for breakfast (dried apricots or prunes if worried about fresh fruit spoiling). 2nd floor rooms are up a narrow staircase. If staying a few nights and have any difficulties ask for a 1st floor room. The bathroom was basic and needs some upgrading e.g. very windy and window didn't fit well. Obviously trying to keep mould away. No problem for us but could not give it a 5* rating.

Wszystko było ok. Śniadania dobre (typowo angielskie) menu do wyboru. Lokalizacja bardzo dobra. Czysto i schludnie. Bardzo miły personel.

It was a comfortable stay. The room clean, the bed very comfortable and a quiet location.

Gemoedelijke sfeer, duidelijk en behulpzaam. Goede bedden. Voldoende ruimte zelfs met drie personen. Heerlijk ontbijt. Centrale ligging met ruimte voor parkeren op loopafstand van centrum.

Kleine, oude badkamer. Alles was wat gedateerd. De staat van onderhoud was redelijk, alles werkte nog net, maar het heeft een opknapbeurt nodig.

Centraal gelegen in St Davids, niet ver van de busstops. Lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt, combinatie van continentaal en cooked. Vriendelijke uitbaatster. Wij gebruikten dit hotel als tussenstop op het Coast Path.

Hotel and bathroom are somewhat aged, but good enough for a few nights

The breakfast suited us perfectly....the waitress was warm, welcoming and efficient.

No evening meals were served.

The room was on the first floor so a short staircase from the entrance. The shower room was small but had everything I needed and there was a comfortable chair, a desk/dressing table and a wardrobe. The bedside tables had a plug so I could charge my phone (adapter needed) and a rather dim bedside light. Breakfast was excellent, cooked to order and really set me up for the day.

Very narrow stairs with no handrail to top floor. Room had a strange smell from whatever they washed the bedding in. Mould over the bath and around the window. Mould spots on the shower mat.

Staff very kindly went to the trouble of returning a pillow to me that I left behind.

Having no lift could affect some people.

Really friendly staff who let us check in very early after our tents flew away the night before in a storm. Very accommodating and a great little spot to stay in to explore St Davids.

The breakfast was served by the cook as the Waitress did not turn up The cook did really well considering the restrictions.

This hotel is located on the National Cycling Route 4. They are really missing a golden opportunity to gain lots of custom from cyclists, as they do not have secure storage for bikes. We had to leave 6 bikes (worth £9k) simply locked to a wall out he front.

The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and 5 mins away from the city centre! Staff was really good as we had a small issue with a door knob and the staff was really quick at sorting the issue out!

Unter unserem Zimmer befand sich eine Bar/Pub und wir konnten bis Mitternacht nicht schlafen. Die Produkte im Bad könnten besser sein.

The staff was exceptionally helpful to our needs. - We could store our luggage for the day - We got our breakfast a little earlier as we needed to catch a bus. Their flexibility on both things helped us big!
