Everything was as described. We used it as a transit hotel. Gym was basic but functional. Breakfast had lots of choice. Walking distance from other restaurants and cafes.

To describe Swiss-Belhotel Kendari as a 4-star hotel is, frankly, a profound misrepresentation. My experience at this property was not merely disappointing; it was an astonishing example of how hospitality standards can collapse beneath even the most basic threshold of acceptability. The room was visibly old and neglected, with furnishings marred by stains, cigarette burns on the seating despite the room being designated non-smoking, and an overall condition that reflected years of poor maintenance. The television displayed a persistent white line across the bottom of the screen, the wallpaper was peeling away from the walls, and the entire environment conveyed decay rather than comfort. Most alarming, however, was the bathroom, which was overwhelmed by humidity, a disgusting toilet seat, unclean surfaces, and an unmistakable sense of bacterial neglect (see photos). It felt unhygienic, unprofessional, and wholly unfit for paying guests. From an objective standpoint, this hotel does not merit a 4-star classification. Indeed, based on the condition of the room alone, it struggles to justify even a 1-star evaluation. The disparity between the hotel’s marketed image and its actual physical state is so extreme that it borders on deception. It is a disgrace that guests are expected to sleep in accommodations of this quality. This was my first stay here, and it will unquestionably be my last. For travelers seeking a genuine 4-star experience in Kendari, CLARO Kendari, located next door, is vastly superior and more accurately reflects the standards one should expect. I would strongly advise anyone considering Swiss-Belhotel Kendari to book CLARO or explore any other available alternative. The hotel management appears to demonstrate a significant lack of professionalism and very limited experience in the hospitality industry. This situation is deeply disappointing.

This hotel is incredibly friendly and has a special atmosphere. The staff are outstanding and will really make you feel at home. The pool and the restaurant alongside are also very atmospheric. The breakfast is outstanding too!

One of the best hotels in the city. Good service. Well equipped . Very clean

It was a little bit strange to have a person (who clearly didn’t belong to the hotel) coming to us in the lobby to offer investments.

Electricity was on and off. Someone started hammering at 7 am and that was very annoying. Hotel needs some renovation. People were smoking in halls inside, probably a normal thing, but it is a bit disgusting to breathe this air later.

the non smoking room smetl reeked fo cigarette smoke and the whole hallway same reeked fo cigarette smoke. Great audibility through walls -- noisy neihbors won't give you any peace

Swiss Bel Hotel is a fine place with great staff, good value for money. I did not eat the food, so I have no comment there. it is a ways out from town, but Grab cars are all over the place here.....so no worries.

Enjoyed our 1 night stay in this hotel before joining an expedition ship cruise. Hotel very nice, room clean, very comfortable, excellent hotel, very hospitable staff and service including airport pickup, great bar/cafe. Minor issue was service in restaurant for dinner, we ordered our meals, my partner's meal was served very quickly, mine was served about 30 minutes later, well after my partner had finished hers. But overall a very good hotel. Kendari town itself rather unattractive, rubbish everywhere and waterways like sewers but if travelling through Kendari then Swiss Belhotel is certainly the place to stay.

Saya mendapat tugas mendadak dari kantor sehingga tidak sempat merencanakan perjalanan saya sebagaimana perjalanan saya sebelumnya...akhirnya saya dgn iseng mengutak katik HP saya mencari situs pemesanan hotel online.. dan di situs expedia saya mendapat info hotel yg bisa diboking dgn pembayaran setelah tiba di hotel . .maka saya mencoba booking hotel Swiss Bell di Kendari....dan Alhamdulillah semua berjalan lancar mulai check in sampai check out. ..trims ekspedisi dan swiss bell hotel Kendari atas pelayananx......

Kebersihan perlu ditingkatkan

Couldn't get a quiet night's rest with pounding house music from some event in the hotel on Saturday evening . The power outages are too frequent. Wouldn't have stayed here if I'd known about the noise.

When I booked my hotel it's been paid via expedia but they charge again even I explain if paid already & they realize that after an hours. And been misunderstanding when I said king size bed they said single bed??? When I said its double not single they said twin??? They really need knowledge about hotel!!!!

Hal yang terbaik di hotel ini adalah makanan. Terutama pizza. Siapa kirad di kendari tidak ada pizza yang sangat lezat. Saya pasti akan makan pizza di hotel ini lagi apabila berkunjung kembali ke kendari. Untuk keramahan pegawai, kebersihan dan ketenangan di hotel ini cukup baik. ATM BNI ada tepat disebelah hotel.
