I liked that all rooms are on ground floor so less walking as I have sore knees. My room was very clean & my bed was comfortable.

We stayed here for a week with a group of friends and enjoyed our stay! We liked that there’s a bar with pool tables in the hotel and a restaurant attached! There could be a few renovations inside and the driveway definitely needs fixing but I would say good for the price.

The Garden Inn is quaint, a little old but clean and comfortable. The room was spacious with 2 comfy chairs and a side table for relaxing and snacking. The fridge worked well as did the tv. Our only criticisms are the parking lot was in dire need of repairs and that the mattress needs to be replaced as it sagged to the middle a bit. Otherwise, we had a great overnight stay

Our bed was very comfortable. The room was clean and had all that we needed. We appreciated the air conditioning unit in the window. There were lots of options for the continental breakfast. The staff were friendly. We were happy with the cost of the hotel room.

The hotel is a bit run-down and the parking lot needs repair. Our curtains did not fully close, so those in the parking lot could see in if they wanted to, and outdoor lighting came in at night. If I were to be super picky - It would be good to have the apples washed - they still had stickers on and there was nowhere to rinse them off in the breakfast room, so I passed.

Nothing Poor comunication, Motel was locked and closed, with sign on door closed due to( fire) We found out the motel had a fire 3 months ago.no communication about our reservation, we had booked it on line last month, they should have not been taking reservation and then we had to find different motel to stay at.

We got to see my sister and niece for the first time this year.

We arrived for our stay to find the building closed. Lobby had no answer while my sister,daughter, and neice waited in the car for an hour. We phoned multiple times but received no answer.   While I drove in only from Leduc,my sister and her daughter drove from Moose Jaw Saskatchewan. we arrived in time for check-in to stay with NO NOTICE of issues. To be ghosted on site. My sister had to drive another 43mins to stay in the next town with folks her mom know while I drove back to Leduc for home. No stay at the hotel. No money returned. Very unpleasant experience.

It had an attached restaurant! The food was delicious!

Very outdated - could use some spiffing up. The door card key was wonky, and the toilet did not flush properly.

Parking lot was extremely rough with potholes. Bed in first room had dirty sheets and even hairs on the bedding so I complained and was moved to another room however heat wasn't working and luckily a spare blanket was on the shelf to use being only 5°C outside room was very chilly

Room was freezing and when we asked about it they gave us a junky space heater that didn’t even throw off heat.

The staff was amazing the first room wasnt good the staff moved us to another room but every year i book a room there the paeking lot is always full of pot holes they need to fix the parking lot

I have severe asthma and when I checked in I informed the reception and said it is critical that I do not have a room that has ever been smoked in. It was clear that this hotel was once a smoking hotel. The room was hotel and the AC didn't work.even with the thermostat completely off. I did not sleep I was so uncomfortable. I would like my money back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room was quiet. Restaurant gave us an enjoyable dinner with their signature "Apple Pie". It was amazing. Enjoyed the continental breakfast before leaving. Thank you.

For what we paid it was a nice stay. There are charming decor pieces around the property. There are repairs needed (e.g., cracked window, doorbell to call desk agent to the desk). Our room was cold even though we had the thermostat cranked.

It was only a brief stay but the room was clean and bed was comfortable. The entrance road and parking lot are a downfall for this hotel and need to be repaired.

People are very friendly, and if you asked a question it was quickly answered

Staff were wonderful but the hotel is extremely old and dated. Using air conditioning and microwave at same time in the room blew the breaker😯and the bed I had you could only lay on one side as if you tried to lay on the other the mattress flipped off! Hotel could really use some electrical upgrades, bed changes and old smelly carpet ripped out! Menus for restaurant looked good but I didn’t try it. Breakfast was continental and fine cute room that definitely made you feel like you were at grandmas in the 60’s!

Room was very clean and the staff were very friendly. Was surprised to have access to a larger-than-mini fridge in the room.

Room 219 not unclean but not sparkling Very dark so couldn’t see well Bathroom had slash drops on the sink and counter from previous user? Exterior of property- no curb appeal. Lawn uncut parking lot unkept Entry had benches for smoking area right beside the main door. No escaping the smoke. Restaurant has great food and great service Chairs need attention ,reupholstered This property is very tired. Will not use it again. I visit family each year in Vegreville so thought we’d try it.

Friendly staff. Hotel is older but it is clean. It is pet friendly despite Expedia listing that it is not. Also, the pizza in the attached restaurant is the best we have ever had!!

Property is a bit date but clean, very friendly staff, i was able to check in early. Very affordable would stay there again.

Good price, quiet & reasonably clean - but needs updating of chipped doors, etc . Tub fixtures were poorly installed. Firm pillows.

We enjoyed our stay, but as seniors felt it would be would be advisable to have safety bars in the tub enclosures. Also, it would have been nice to have air conditioning in the dining room.

Complimentary breakfast was a great touch!

Looks like it could use a remodel

The lane way into the Inn is gravel and bumpy. The restaurant on site has very good food and relatively large portions.

The front staff was so friendly and accommodating. They allowed me to have late checkout to accommodate my daughter’s dance schedule.

The property is older but very clean.

When you get to the Inn,it looks a bit dated but they are slowly fixing it up.But don't let the looks stop you,because the service was very good,the rooms were clean and everything worked.The complimentary breakfast coffee and snacks were a great way to start your day.

Firstly, did not like smoking area at the front door. Secondly, any type of minor repairs, such as patching nail holes in the bathroom door was not finished. Stain/paint not in good shape on doors/walls. Of the 2 beds in our room, both were sway back and one had a very squeaky base. Lighting in the front entrance area was very dim. Main parking lot is un paved, landscaping was not done, entrance to the property unmarked. Room air conditioning unit was very dirty and spewed dust into the room when it was turned on.

They did have a continental breakfast available.

After driving long-distance all day, we didn't arrive at the motel until 9 PM. The male receptionist said we couldn't check in without a reservation and was very unfriendly. Additionally, there were various inexplicable noises late at night.

Everything was good and what we expected. Nice to have restaurant and lounge and a little continental breakfast. We’ll be back.

gave up on the breakfast...was skinny

better quality and variety....the sink in the washroom had hairs..overall the hotel presented a dull, worn out look

Breakfast was ok for grab and run. Beds and tub in rm 107 were the highlights of the room.

Two nights together. Driveway in and out need work. Should of asked for heater sooner. But once took chill out room was comfortable.

Very old property. Was likely a hot ticket in 1975. Rooms were functional and clean but very old Common areas had odd smells and worn out carpets. Light outside our room kept turning off and on all night. Staff were, however, very pleasant and helpful during our stay. Restaurant attached was very enjoyable Parking lot was horrendous.

Room is a bit cramped, could use coffee pots and tissue paper in rooms, road way in should be smoothed out. other wise everything was good. staff at the front was great. The price was great so not worth complaining about anything really! Would I stay again? Yes

We really enjoy the stay there.

Although it was just a one night stay, the hotel and my room were clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast room was very sweet - nicely decorated and provided a good number of food options: oatmeal, yogurt, juices, bread & baked goods and fruit. The adjoining restaurant, Crave Appetite, served me the BEST homemade Tomato and bacon soup. All-in-all, it was a very positive experience. Thank you!
