Salmon Leap Farm B&B

Salmon Leap Farm is a charming BnB with a delicious breakfast, John is most helpful with what to do in the area of Killarney. We loved our stay.

Shaun the host was charming and that matched the property to a tea Breakfast was well presented Parking easy Room spacious

Loved staying at Salmon Leap! Great breakfast, Sean was so lovely and kind. Great large room (we stayed in the family room), highly recommend!

Sean was an excellent host. Provided great advice for our touring and his suggestion for dinner was spot on. Only issue is that one has to drive to dinner. This is only a problem if you want to enjoy a couple of pints. Having said that, we would absolutely stay here again.

We stayed in six different B&Bs in Ireland and Salmon Leap Farm was by far the best experience we had. We had coffee, tea and juice waiting for us when we sat down and breakfast was always delicious and just a few minutes away. The location was just a short drive from both Killarney and Kenmare. We were extremely comfortable at Salmon Leap Farms and would stay again when we return to Ireland.

We were greeted by the nicest women who checked us in, the property was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was delivered as soon as we sat down, and was excellent.

Breakfast Clean roomy rooms Gorgeous setting

One of favorites in all of Ireland. Would love to stay forever. The owner was terrific

This was a great property. The rooms were comfortable, breakfast was delicious and the owners were very gracious. I would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Sean was very helpful and assisted me with resetting a tire sensor error on the car.

The owners were delightful ! So nice and eager to help you. The breakfast was great and always ready as soon as we arrived in the dining area. The room was huge and clean ! We recommend it ++++

Very convenient for getting to Killarney National park but away from town in a nice country setting. Good breakfast and friendly staff.

Breakfast was wonderful, safe of street parking. Good size room and ensuite. Lovely dining area and lounge. Only 6 minutes drive to a great pub for tea. Only suggestion is to have a kettle with tea and coffee making facilities either in the dining room or the lounge so we don't have to bother you or your mother.

Very nice property

Park on site. Breakfast is ok. Services is good. Considerable clean.

Nice location right off of motorway, just be prepared to turn in. Hospitality was great, large comfortable room. Would defi definitely stay here again

Funky smell, shower limited to under 5 minutes, breakfast of poor quality, leaky sink, poor quality of bedding and towels.

Absolutely fabulous B&B. Host was wonderful, breakfast was yummy and timely, rooms were clean and spacious. The property is beautiful and the house itself is just charming. Would highly recommend!!!

Great stay! Very quiet with an ultra comfortable bed. The shower dome in the bathroom rocks. Convenient to the City, only a 15 minute drive. Several options for a filling protein packed breakfast. Maybe a coffee/tea station available all day would be a nice addition.

Lovely place to stay in a quaint renovated farmhouse. Quiet and about 15 mins close to Killarney center. Excellent breakfast and service. Would love to stay again.

lovely and quiet despite nearby road

Wonderful B&B! The beds were so comfortable, the breakfast tasty, the hosts so friendly and accommodating! We loved the flowers and nature all around us. We would definitely recommend!

The hosts were very kind and organized. I loved the classic style interior design of the place. The breakfast was awesome!

Best stop of the whole trip. Wonderful experience all around. Wish we had stayed longer.

Not close to anything

This was a beautiful place to stay! The owners were very friendly! We highly recommend it!

It was a very comfortable stay and kind host. Optional room darkening shades would be helpful and in-room self service drinks would be nice.

Our stay was amazing. We wished we had booked this place for a longer time. It was central to everything. Our host was wonderful. Everything was perfect, including the breakfast

It was quaint, clean and comfortable. Comfy bed, roomy room. Wonderful breakfast

A wonderful experience staying at Salmon Leap B&B and meeting Shawn! Beautiful farm house and rose gardens, comfy rooms and sitting area, and food was delicious, too. Highly recommend!

Very friendly couple operating this property.

Perfect place to stay 15 min outside of touristy Killarney! 300 yo farmhouse with beautiful roses and comfortable rooms. Great place, cozy decor, and friendly staff. Easy parking and Sean gave me the best tips for driving the Ring of Kerry!

We had a great stay here. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice. Sean was extremely helpful.

Sean was an absolutely outstanding host. The location was amazing. The surrounding countryside was breathtaking. Conveniently located a short distance outside Killarny. Excellent value for the money. The rooms had so much character and were comfortable annd spotless. Great breakfast. Thanks Sean for a great first experience in Ireland.

Excellent location

Very friendly accommodating reception and support. Sean was wonderfully helpful. Clean, comfortable rooms. Breakfast delicious.

A wonderful older bed and breakfast that had some great updates. The owner was so friendly and helpful. He even helped us with our itinerary. The room was nice sized and a comfortable bed. The breakfast was absolutely excellent and served so efficiently. He takes your order and breakfast time (you pick) the night before so when you sit down, it's ready. I loved that. All in all, I highly recommend.

Stunning heritage property perfectly maintained. Perfect hosts able to provide information about the area and “must do’s”. Delicious breakfasts. Beautiful spacious clean bathroom and bedroom.

Sean was an amazing host. It was comfortable quiet and very relaxing. Beautiful place would highly recommend. Gary and cherri schleicher

Very homey. Roomy rooms. Wonderful food. Felt very authentic and cared for home.

Great host! Very helpful with recommendations for dinners, places to see and directions. Very spacious and comfortable room with lovely view.

Rural setting, picturesque home, comfortable and quiet.

The Salmon Leap was a perfect place to stay. We really enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and was very relaxing.

Kind

Clean, comfortable and great breakfast. Thank you.

Amazing stay, we felt like we were staying home. People from the B&B very polite and kind. Love our stay.

What a B&B should be! Great facility and location that reflects on what you would expect Ireland to be!

A traditional B&B with a great host and great breakfast. Will recommend it to anyone

Lovely, clean room. We were well looked after by Sean and Eilis. Thank you for a very pleasant stay!

The B&B was very good—clean, comfortable, and just what we needed. Sean was great and very helpful.

Sean was an excellent host and the establishment was beautiful. Bteqkfast was delicious as well. Highly recommend when in the Ring of Kerry area.

VERY nice B&B, would highly recommend it. Shaun (owner) was extremely helpful and even went so far to ensure my tires were all at correct pressure (warning light had come on the previous night and I had no compressor or tire gauge)! We will definitely stay here again if we ever return to Ireland!!!

We absolutely loved this B&B. It was very clean and the breakfast was delicious. It is so charming, homie and authentic! We loved coming back here after the long days exploring the area.

Great stay! Staff was very kind and attentive! Gave us great recommendations for the day!

Sean was very friendly and kind. Even if you think you have a plan for the day ask Sean and he will give you additional tips and ideas. I would love to stay here again!!!

This was a great place to stay. Quaint, quiet, and peaceful. We are sorry we had only scheduled one night - would have loved a few more!

This B&B is absolutely charming. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The en-suite shower was fantastic. We even had adorable cows out our window to greet us. The breakfast was delicious. And Sean is the most amazing host. He even went above and beyond to contact us within 15-30 minutes after we checked out because we left an item behind. Best stay experience of our trip in Ireland!

This bed and breakfast was absolutely lovely! The room was beautiful, breakfast each day was delicious, and our host couldn't have been more helpful. We were a short drive from Killarney Park and all it's treasures. It was also convenient to Dingle. We would definitely recommend this B&B!

Sean made us so welcome The breakfast was very good Wish we could have stayed longer

We had an amazing stay! The owner Shawn was so helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and the room was very cozy and had decent space to move around.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Salmon Leap Farm. Everything was perfect from the comfy bed to the hearty breakfasts. Our room was very clean and spacious with a fully stocked bathroom (excellent shower). Sean was a very attentive and gracious host. Will definitely recommend!

Everything was perfect. Large, comfortable, clean room, nice breakfast, very ptofessional and friendly service, beautiful property.

Very cute property that was safe, comfortable and quiet. Staff was attentive. Had a delicious breakfast in the morning which was scheduled the night before and ready for us right when we came down in the morning. Free parking in convenient lot right outside. It was about 15 min from Killarney national park.

Proprietor Sean is one of the best people I have met. Wonderful service with a charm that only Ireland can offer. Rooms were amazing and comfortable and the breakfast was phenomenal

Very nice and isolated, very friendly staff, clean and quiet spaces. Really good breakfast service.

Spacious room, great breakfast

We had an excellent stay at Salmon Leap Farm! Beautiful views, excellent location, and welcoming hospitality!

Beautiful property and rooms. Also a great breakfast and a wonderful host.

Sean was a wonderful and very friendly host. We felt very comfortable and welcome. Had a great nights sleep and good breakfast to start the day. Sean took great care of us and provided a lot of useful information to help us on the way.

It was great, Shawn was and excellent host.

Salmon Leap Farm was charming and beautiful. The location is great. Sean was an amazing host and was able to answer our many questions. I would recommend this B&B to anyone!

Fabulous B and B with a great Full Irish. Need a car, but easy access to Killarney and environs. Sean is terrific.

Lovely property, with a beautiful garden & surroundings. The staff were super friendly & helpful. I was on a flying visit & would have liked to stay longer

Nice location

Irish breakfast was yummy! Comfy beds made for a great nights sleep. Only regret is that we should have stayed another night.

Salmon leap was quaint clean well maintained. A large room (family?) Very small bathroom room was comfortable witb a fabulous view though noisey outside (next to N22) but peaceful inside. Disappointed there was no coffee or tea / kettle cups in room in 8 years travelling this is the only bnb not to offer refreshment facilities in the room no matter how expensive or cheap the room. Car parking good yet tight for a large vehicle Breakfast offered full Irish breakfast but it was the bare minimum adequate yet not satisfying. Staff friendly and pleasant, helpful .

The place was wonderful. Our room was comfortable with a big bathroom. The breakfast was wonderful and was a nice selection. Wonderful hospitality.

Loved Salmon Leap. Host was just perfect, so sweet and helpful, our room was lovely and spacious even the bathroom. We stayed here with our two young adult children and it was perfect. View was gorgeous. We would stay here again.

Sean was great, full of knowledge. Garden was beautiful, we love roses. View of the mountain spectacular. Breakfast was delicious, even though I am still messed up from the time change and wasnt able to eat much. We loved the smell of the lemon soap. The beds were comfortable and the rooms quiet.

Amazing staff and beautiful peaceful landscape around the property!

The place was lovely and the staff very friendly and helpful.

A really lovely stay...would highly recommend

Fantastic in every way!

We liked the furniture and decorations. Took us back in time. Very nice antiques throughout the B&B. Stairs should be mentioned when making a reservation. Also no main floor bathroom.

Very friendly and helpful host. Quiet and right on highway for access. Great spot for exploring Ring of Kerry, Killarney National Park, and the Dingle Peninsula. Would stay again.

Typical B&B experience. Rooms are spacious and clean. Owner was friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice B&B. Only negatives: there was no Kleenex or shampoo in the rooms.

Nice old place to stay. No TV’s

Adorable quaint little gem off the highway, the cows greet you from the pasture on arrival and so does the front desk man who was the picture of respectful and kind. The place was perfect and the room surprisingly large.

Salmon Leap Farm was a beautiful home and our room was bright and spacious. The host was friendly and helpful in recommending a delicious restaurant for dinner. Breakfast was delicious and the breakfast room was pretty. I would highly recommend this B &B.

Very friendly and helpful house owner. Decent location and close to nature. Would love to visit again.

The B&B is easy to find and has a great breakfast, comfortable beds and pleasant staff.
