Die Zimmer sind gepflegt und sauber, die Lage etwas abgeschieden, aber genau das, was man in einem solchen Gegend sucht. Wichtiger Tipp: Das Frühstück ordern. Neben einem Porridge gab es noch ein fantastisches full irisch breakfast. Jedes Frühstück wird den einzelnen Bedürfnissen abgepasst. Auch die wertvollen Reisehinweise von Mary nicht verpassen.

She is an absolutely lovely person – warm, kind, welcoming and incredibly helpful in every possible way. She made us feel at home from the very first moment and is, for us, the true definition of Irish hospitality. Our two-bedroom apartment was beautiful, comfortable and had amazing views of the sea and surrounding countryside. Breakfast was excellent too, and Mary looked after us wonderfully throughout our stay. A beautiful place made even more special by an exceptional host. Thank you, Mary – we would come back without hesitation!

Reviewed Jul 18, 2026Where do I begin? The welcome from our host, Mary, was warm and cordial. The location is superb. It's wonderfully rural, yet only minutes from good places to eat, sites of interest and stunning cliff walks. Our room was large, clean, comfortable and had all the usual amenities. Great WiFi - good strong signal. The bed is a king sized and really comfy. Breakfast options cater for all tastes and appetites with plenty of fresh fruit, full Irish, home made scones and a good selection of other offerings. Mary has her own chickens and the eggs are fresh and tasty. Mary has lots of information available for the adventurous with a folder in the room and pamphlets in the hallway. For those wishing to venture out there are villages with shops a five minute drive away and the beach at Five Finger Strand is about 10 minutes from the next village. I guarantee that, if you stay here, you will not be disappointed and will want to return.
Leaving. If we could have stayed longer we definitely would have.

Es gab einen Kühlschrank für die Gäste, ein super bequemes Bett, Biotee sogar für die Nacht, einen eigenen kleinen Balkon mit schönem Blick und bestes liebevolles Frühstück.

Las habitaciones tienen todos los elementos básicos para garantizar la comodidad. El entorno es maravilloso, lleno de campos verde, mar, bahías, cabos y playas, aunque la movilidad sin coche puede ser algo complicada. El desayuno es sencillamente espectacular. Mary prepara un auténtico y casero Irish breakfast que te puede servir para reponer fuerzas para todo el día. Marys home is well located allowing for a peaceful stay and walks in the surrounding area are a must. Le petit déjeuner est excellent et copieux (choix de céréales, porridge crémeux, fruits frais et jeux de fruits, full Irish breakfast et délicieux assortiments de pâtisseries maison - scones, muffins, cakes- etc.). Le prix est certes un peu élevé, mais cela en vaut la peine : un lit très confortable, une salle de bain moderne avec tout le nécessaire : serviettes propres, savon, gel douche, shampoing et eau chaude à bonne pression.On peut se préparer un thé ou un café en sortant de la chambre. Une propreté impeccable et une chambre parfaitement agencée. La propriétaire est très agréable et accueillante. Sans frais supplémentaires, elle a accepté de garder nos bagages jusqu'à l'heure de notre bus et nous a fait visiter les environs. Elle a même eu la gentillesse de nous conduire à l'arrêt de bus avec sa voiture personnelle.

Das Frühstück war außergewöhnlich: man konnte zwischen verschiedenen warmen Dingen wählen ( z.B. french Toast, Omelett, pancakes, Irish breakfast..) und zusätzlich gab es Obst und verschiedene selbstgemachte Backwaren. Wir kommen bestimmt nochmal wieder!

Terrasse de notre chambre avec vue sur les prés et les moutons, avec un superbe coucher de soleil. Excellent petit-déjeuner, très copieux et soigné. Mary est aux petits soins pour ses invités 😍 Encore un grand merci !
Un détail : les douches et les lits doubles sont étroits pour les grands gabarits 😉

Location is superb, 10-15 mins drive from Malin Head. We chose the option without breakfast, but Mary provided us with all the plates/cups to have our own cereals and coffee. Thanks a mil for hosting us, Mary!

Mary makes it a true home from home and went the extra mile to cater for her guests; not just in the provision of an excellent and generous breakfast, but helping organise their visits out and about and making reservations for meals.

We have stayed in a lot of B&Bs over the years both in the UK and Ireland, and this is easily the best place we’ve ever been to. The warm welcome and beautiful accommodation provided by Mary made up for the horrible weather!! We wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend a stay here

Mary greeted us with a big smile at the front door and showed us to our room, which was huge and had a few of the ocean.
