Made very welcome in this beautiful, comfortable & homely accommodation

Les Pancakes n'étaient pas à notre goût car trop gras et le bruit infernal du chauffe eau lorsque nos voisins de chambre ont pris leur douche à plus de 23h.

Overall terrific. Only small negative was that the bed was too hard for our taste.

Upon arrival we felt welcome like we just arrived to stay with family!

Hallo und guten Tag, Bridgeburnhouse Bed and Breakfast haben wir für unsere Rundreise durch Irland erwählt. .In einer wundervollen Naturlandschaft und der National Park Glenveagh ist in der Nähe. Dieses B&B wird von der Familie sehr gemütlich geführt, Frühstück und Kaffee sowie div. Säfte stärken uns Reisende..;-))Es gab Preisempfehlungen und Hinweise für diverse Ausflüge. Danke von uns allen für den leckeren Rotwein...Sophia ..es beruhte alles auf Gegenseitigkeit.. Wir haben jeden Tropfen genossen..🍷 LG Udo

Eine tolle Unterkunft! Unsere Gastgeberin hat uns, trotz verspäteter Anreise, sehr herzlich persönlich empfangen und uns das kleine aber völlig ausreichende Zimmer im Dachgeschoss gezeigt. Das Badezimmer war angenehm groß und wir haben uns direkt wohlgefühlt. Wir hatten außerdem immer einen sehr guten Parkplatz hinter dem Haus. Das Frühstück war perfekt! Es gab ein kleines Buffett mit allem was man braucht und dazu durfte man sich ein Gericht von der Karte aussuchen, was von unserer Gastgeberin frisch zubereitet worden ist. Sehr gut gefallen hat uns das Rührei aber auch Porridge oder Pancakes. Sehr lecker! Das Haus liegt auf dem Land, dort hat man seine Ruhe und es ist sehr idyllisch. Klar, man muss etwas weiter fahren aber wir empfanden den Aufenthalt dort sehr schön und bevorzugen so eine Lage deutlich ggü. einer Unterkunft in einer (größeren) Stadt. Hier würden wir sehr gerne wieder übernachten!

Sofern wir ein Anliegen hatten, wurde sich sofort darum gekümmert. Es war aber nichts bedeutsames zu beanstanden, alles super!

Leider konnte ich so gut wie nicht schlafen,da es die ganze Nacht ein dröhnendes Geräusch aus einem Schacht gab und Nachts um 2.30Uhr gab es einen Feuer Fehlalarm,der erst 20 min später behoben werden konnte 😏

Comfy room, great location, lovely breakfast , pancakes a massive hit.

The Hosts were wonderful. The home had a separate sitting room for guests. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful.

For those of us who are not accustomed to driving on very narrow roads (L), this was not a pleasant drive at night. It was a bit of a distance from town.

What was there not to like is more the question. Sophia and Donald have an exquisitely beautiful home that just reeks welcome home the moment you step through the front door. The furnishings and decor are just stunning, and the comfort and size of the rooms and ensuit was more than I ever expected. Sophia was the most amazing host. She is kind, sweet, helpful, and just a beautiful lady to boot. I can not recommend this place highly enough it has topped the scale at being my favourite place so far on my 7th day of 16 in Ireland. Love what you are doing at Bridgeburn House Sophia and Donald it is a true credit to you both, I rate my experience 10/10 hands down.

Everything was perfect: the location, the delicious breakfast... and our hosts were very nice. We even had a problem with our car and they helped us and gave us the tools we needed to continue with our journey. Thank you so much!

My only negative. The only bedding option was a Duvet (common in most places now). It was warm and there was no other option than the duvet. We slept with no covers at all. Maybe a sheet in the closet for warm nights?

The cleanliness and friendliness. We have been on a three week trip to Ireland to celebrate our roots and our retirement. The Boyles were so very friendly and welcoming and warm.

This accommodation is truly beautiful and incredibly well-maintained. The breakfast is fantastic, and the hosts are really nice people. It's conveniently located near Letterkenny and right in the center of Donegal, making it a short distance from many great sights.

The location is well indicated on your way there. Beautiful large room, ensuite bathroom was very clean. Sofia cooked us an excellent iris breakfast, everything we were looking for in a B&B.

Absolutely lovely hosts the room was immaculate and breakfast was delicious, there is a lovely pub five minutes walk from the house that serve delicious pizza,there is also a very well equipped kitchen, 5 star all the way and we will definitely be going back again to recharge our batteries, thank you so very much,excellent service and value for money.

The room was a little small, but we made it work. We saw work vans outside our window and were afraid it would be noisy, but it was very quiet. We did several driving trips with this as a base so it was a good location for that.

Out of all of our accomodations during our 18 day trip to Ireland this was the least expensive. The location was not near walking distance to anything. There was a sign for a pub, but it never appeared open. The hostess was friendly. The breakfast food was much more basic compared to the rest of the places we stayed, but again this B&B was half the price so one gets what they paid for. No big complaints here. Would have been nice to have tissues (Kleenex) in the room. Bottle water is also inexpensive that could have been provided. This was also the only place that had no shampoo so we had to go out and buy some. There were heated towel bars which woud be nice except that every morning when we got up to take a shower they were off. We could not understand how they worked, but did not take the time to ask as it was not that important to us.

Full Irish breakfast was excellent and we we welcomed by the owners who were knowledgeable hosts.

There is absolutely nothing to dislike with this accommodation. It was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and warm. Both the bedroom and ensuite were a good size. The breakfast was really good, one of the best on our trip. The host was extremely friendly and helpful.

Our hostess was warm, welcoming and helpful. She accommodated our later than expected arrival and found us a lovely local restaurant for an amazing dinner, The Yellow Pepper. If there was anything I'd suggest, it would be bottled water in our room; improve the shower drain(very slow), and play traditional irish music during breakfast. The scones, yogurt, granola, fresh fruit were delicious! I'd suggest improving the coffee.

Fab stay, warming kind family. Bedroom was spotless, very comfortable and clean bed. Breakfast was perfect before our climb up Errigal.

I dislike booking.com and will never work with you again as a tourist. A greedy company. Stinking pig attitude regarding mediation fees. Stupid to book through you. I was stupid. Writing this regardless of the specific BnB. Towards the end of a 12 days trip in Ireland figured that. You have earned enough money, bye.

Nothing everything exceeded our expectations

We had a very warm welcome from Sofia. She showed us a sitting area for guests, the dining room and, of course, our room. The space was very homey, clean and quiet. We had a lovely view across the fields from our bedroom window. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of offerings, including pancakes and homemade baked goods. We really enjoyed our stay at Bridgeburnhouse BnB. Thank you, Sofia!

The owner of the property was just perfect, the house is amazing.. Definitely was the best experience in Ireland 🇮🇪 Ever!!! There is a pub very close to the property and the night just perfect for drinks and the people were so nice and treated us very well... Again, a best experience... Everything was perfect... thanks!!!

There wasn't any shampoo

This was just a one night stopover for us but we wish we had more time to enjoy the property. The home is absolutely beautiful-I especially loved all the different wallpapers and the beautiful garden. Sophia and her husband were so nice and accommodating. Instead of going out for dinner we had leftovers from lunch and they heated them up for us and brought us milk for our tea upon arrival. The breakfast was delicious and overall it was a lovely experience. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Our hosts were delightful. We felt totally 'at home' and we were even offered a whiskey (a double no less) and a glass of chilled Chardonnay! Tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and most attractive gardens.

I can’t say enough good things about this property, beautiful, clean, well-maintained and the family couldn’t be friendlier. They recommended great restaurants and things to do nearby. Breakfast was made to order and delicious…I highly recommend!!

Lovely accommodation set in a beautiful garden. Our hosts were very friendly and offered great advice on what to see and do and did a small load of washing for us without hesitation. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast excellent.

Not so much a dislike but an inconvenience is that it is a longish and winding drive into Letterkenny to access restaurants for dinner

Beautiful accommodations with amazing views and garden. Extremely clean room and full bath. Host was very friendly and went the extra mile to assist us during our stay. Breakfast went above our expectations and was delicious.

Everything about our stay felt like we were visiting family /friends from the start. The three of us were touring on motorcycles. we were offered a locked garage for the motorcycles drying facilities if required and made to feel very much at ease from the start. The owners couldn't be more accommodating and made sure we were able to visit the local hostillery for evening meal and return with no problems, by taking and picking us up. I'd say that's going above and beyond and saved us having to ride the bikes again that evening. Noel cooks a cracking breakfast don't miss it! Highly recommended

Beautiful, quiet property offering a peaceful night sleep while also just a few minutes drive into town. Room/bed was very comfortable and the ensuite spacious. Breakfast options were plentiful and well prepared. Proprietors were so friendly and welcoming. Absolutely recommended stay!

A beautiful place to stay, real home from home located in quiet countryside. Very comfortable spacious rooms and very well furnished. Breakfast was amazing, delicious and freshly prepared with very welcoming staff, I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Located about 7 km from Letterkenny in the rural countryside, perfect place to relax for a well earned break in Donegal.

Sophia and Donal are lovely people who make your stay just wonderful. Their home is gorgeous. We had the family room which had a kitchen on the same floor which was perfect for us as vegetarian and vegan it can be tricky to find options. The location is great, only 15 min to national sights and Letterkenny where most shops are, simply perfect.
