Reviewed Sep 2, 2026The hosts were very helpful and helped us with free parking when it was impossible to find any. The location is amazing, right in the center of the city.
Unfortunately the place didn't see cleaning in a while or it wasn't used in a long time. The breakfast was not what we expected.

tralasciando il fatto che la struttura è molto vecchia , ma la cosa principale è la sporcizia delle stanze: non appena sono arrivato nella stanza assegnata con la mia ragazza la puzza di chiuso era vomitevole, cosi come il bagno pieno di capelli e la doccia sporca, abbiamo dovuto pulire noi il tutto per renderlo passabile per due notti. Non vedevamo l’ora di andare via

Reviewed Aug 14, 2026Lo que más nos gustó fue la hospitalidad de las mujeres que llevan el negocio, son muy serviciales y nos trataron muy bien. También estuvimos muy agusto con la temperatura que hacía en el hotel, se podía dormir muy bien aún estando en pleno mes de agosto y sin aire acondicionado, mucho más saludable. El desayuno muy bueno también!
La zona para aparcar no está muy fácil, pero es normal estando en un pueblo medieval y turístico.

Teresa super disponibile e gentile, è venuta a prenderci con la sua auto al parcheggio aiutandoci con i bagagli e, nel tragitto verso la struttura, ci ha raccontato la storia del borgo e ci ha mostrato i luoghi da visitare. Camera molto ampia e pulita, con un bellissimo balcone con vista sul mare. Colazione fantastica, un giorno dovevamo andare a fare un’escursione e, di conseguenza, partire prima e ci hanno permesso di anticiparla.

The hotel has beautiful views of Mount Cofano and the ocean from the upper floors. Breakfast is served until the time you want to take it. The hotel fits into Erice, since it is also a bit like a museum of yesteryear. Thumbs up for Hotel Edelweiss
It can be foggy and windy and cold up in Erice, but that gives it a special flair for the region

Reviewed Apr 26, 2026Sicuramente la struttura per essere capita e piaciuta nel suo massimo splendore, bisogna entrare nel mood giusto e predisposti a vivere in un luogo unico e particolare come è Erice. Sia l'albergo che il bar ristorante sono di proprietà dell'intera famiglia che gestisce la struttura in modo molto semplice, ma molto genuino e famigliare facendoti sentire come a casa propria e con massima cordialità. L'intera struttura è di stile antico . Ci hanno dato una camera molto grande e con una vista mare bellissima. Colazione semplice ma buona e preparata proprio come una volta e in modo molto casalingo. Al ristorante ci hanno fatto sentire non come ospiti ma come amici di famiglia. Il ristorante e l'hotel si trovano nelle 2 piazze più belle di Erice a distanza di un centinaio di metri. Assolutamente da consigliare.

Se la struttura fosse ristrutturata o comunque mantenuta in maniera da prevenire per gli ospiti anche spiacevoli sorprese ( la muffa in camera da letto e il cattivo odore dovunque all' interno del bb), sarebbe veramente perfetta per il soggiorno a Erice. Lo staff si è comunque reso subito disponibile a farci cambiare camera, dove era presente comunque la muffa, ma accettabile per una notte Andrebbe anche migliorata la pulizia Sicuramente però la gentilezza e l'educazione dello staff è un punto forte

Etant une maison historique, il n'y a pas d'ascenseur. Si on est au 3e étage et âgé, il est plus difficile de se déplacer, surtout avec des bagages. Mais on peut choisir des chambres au 1er étage si on réserve plus tôt.

Reviewed Sep 20, 2025Great location at the top of Erice. Meant that in the morning we were there before the tourists arrived so felt like we had the whole hill to ourselves which was nice.
The towns was quite quiet in the evening (we are used to more lively places) but that might be because we visited in September rather than the peak of summer.
