Ayres Hotel Fountain Valley - Huntington Beach

Very clean and quiet. Located in a good location with many good dining options nearby.

This is the second time I stayed at the hotel. Clean, and free parking, and the staff are very nice.

This used to be our favorite hotel when doing an OC trip but I think we will start looking for something else next time. The conditions of the rooms are bad.

Air conditioner broken, called front desk, waited 30 min engineer came and reset the AC. Waited 30 mins the AC still wasn’t cold. Called front desk again, waited another 30 mins for engineering to come then they replaced the AC. Tried to take a shower and the shower door wouldn’t even open because the hinges sagged and the door was stuck

Everything was quiet and the breakfast was excellent.

very clean, comfortable, beautiful hotel in the heart of the city, closed to everything. Good hot breadfast. daily room cleaning. will stay again.

perfect

Clean, beautiful, the pool

I think there could be better options for the continental breakfast.

very attractive, large comfortable room, decent breakfast, quiet

all was fine

The staff was friendly, breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were clean.

I have enjoyed my stay here many times. It’s quiet, clean and pleasant.

Location is awesome, and the hotel definitely deserves more than 3 stars. The rooms are very spacious, and the facilities are fabulous,Unfortunately, I didn’t get the chance to try the breakfast during my stay

Nothing

Everything. The common areas are very clean, beds are comfortable and rooms are spacious. The breakfast was included in our reservation and we had the good fortune that every day was different and the quality was great.

Rooms were a bit too dark

Temiz bir oteldi. Personel yardıma açık ve güler yüzlüydü.

Aslında herşey gayet yeterliydi. Sadece kahvaltı seçenekleri çoğaltılabilir

:)

:)

Quiet, comfortable bed, excellent room size, good breakfast

I wish breakfast could have better oatmeal and greek yogurt.

That’s OK

Absolutely the best place to stay! Very clean, breakfast was decent, bathtub very large, pull out sofa bed was very comfortable and the king size bed was great and comfy!! Staff very friendly and the pool was heated and super clean! Definitely staying here again!

Clean; spacious room; friendly staff.

Cooked breakfast menu could have been more varied. More free TV channels like other places.

The bed was really hard

The staff were amazing. Everyone was very helpful, friendly, and welcoming. The hotel property was very nice--especially the eating/bar area outside. And we loved the pool!

I wish we could have cast to the TV from our phones. Our only app choice was Netflix.

Personal Mega freundlich.

The cleanest

The apts or house next door can see into the pool area. No privacy

Clean nice

Close to everything I need

Extremely clean. Very very spacious rooms. Amazing breakfast.

rest staff was nice. a/c guy was nice

Front staff needs training in customer service. One female started to talk back to me. One kind of smirked. All of the treadmills were out of order. One sign fell off, so I used it. All of them had ripped rubber treads. Just one set of lower weights is inadequate. Exercise room is too small. Put some money into the hotel, but please upgrade the work out room. Have a door that goes from the hotel to the pool. Why should I have to go outside and around? Our rooms on level 4 smelled like rotten eggs and mold. they changed out the a/c filters, but clearly that didn't fix it. They never offered to change rooms. The beds were too soft. All the pillows were flat. The free breakfast was so boring, felt like I was in the army.

It was great

Nothing

Location, facilities , very clean and comfortable. It’s our second trip staying there.

This was a great place for our family. I would recommend 100%

Always love the cleanliness of the hotel and friendliness of the staff.

First time staying at Ayres Hotel we would highly recommend to our friends. Very clean hotel, beautiful decor and safe. Awesome staff and great breakfast.

Friendly staff

Smell in our first room. We were moved. All good after that

The only thing I was disappointed with was the breakfast. The powdered eggs served made me sick. I think the Ayers has a good reputation and could do better.

Breakfast. See above.

We’ve stayed at the Ayres several times over the last two years and have always had a wonderful experience. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast buffet is great and the ladies there are always cooking and cleaning up. Even the butter is nicely arranged. Housekeeping does a good job in keeping the rooms clean and they are very respectful when we pass by them in the hall. Reception is awesome. Kudos to Dagyr and the rest of the team the night of 6/13 when we checked in. He greeted us and was kind in letting me talk about the NBA championship game that night—too bad San Antonio lost. We had another stay at the hotel a few days later and Dagyr remembered me—nice touch. The manager remembered me by our last name when we checked out as well. He was great in asking about our stay and answered my questions regarding the breakfast options that are sometimes available on Saturdays. I can tell he takes pride in the hotel and its staff. Great staff and hotel—thank you!

All good!

It was very clean and the staff was friendly

I think breakfast could be better but it was sufficient

Alles super.

We have stayed at this hotel over 6 times this year alone. Love it here. The staff is friendly and understanding. The hotel smells so clean as soon as you arrive. The rooms smell so nice and clean. The room is spacious and looks like new. Beds are very comfortable. The manager is a real nice guy. Always has a smile on his face.

Having to leave.

Everything, but especially the fact that there were outside restrooms and a spray off shower by the pool and jacuzzi.

Not much, there were a couple of hiccups but staff fixed/accommodated us in every way.

Good

I really liked the hotel. However, I was only able to enjoy a few hours inside and missed breakfast.. Any chance to get s better discount on my next visit?

Would love to stay again tomorrow If I can get s better rate. This way. I can enjoy the breakfast and the actual hotel. Let me know.

The breakfast was great. The pool and outside area was beautiful and relaxing. The whole hotel was clean and comfortable.

There really wasn't anything I can pinpoint as not being as good as it should be.

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are very nice and SO clean!

Very nice

It was clean and they had breakfast. I would stay here again

Clean classic and spacious rooms. Excellent staff and attention to clean common areas.

Old worrisome elevators, very basic breakfast, tired linen and pillows.

Tiled bathroom floors

Sugary cereals, too much unhealthy food in the breakfast bar

I was only there for less than 24 hours, but the breakfast was fresh and the breakfast room staff was very helpful.

Clean room, good WiFi, friendly staff

Not too much nearby (walking distance) for dinner

Very clean. In a easy location. Many choices of places to eat

It really wasn’t anything to complain about. Our stay was great. The food was actually pretty cool. There were always choices.

The room was immaculate, clean and in great condition. Everything worked well. The breakfast was outstanding. A great selection of hot and cold choices, including both fresh fruit and tropical fruit salad.

Very Clean Hotel, Breakfast was good, room size was spacious. The Maids do such a good job cleaning the room everyday.

Breakfast time should be extended until 10:30 every morning.

Everything! Very professional staff. Kind and welcoming. Our room was very nice and extremely comfortable. Towels were soft and thirsty. Bed linens were very soft as well. It was also nice and quiet! Breakfast was good. Alot of the same choices as other like hotels but somehow it was better; piping hot, freshly made, just really good. Didn't get to use the pool due to the weather but the outside area was very lovely as well. Love the lobby. Even the coffee maker in the room was very good and thank goodness, they had real half and half pods and sugar in the raw in the lobby that you could take up to your room.

The location was convenient, right by the freeway. There is ample parking room. The staff is friendly. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable.

The price seemed a bit high.

Good location. Freeway close. No freeway noise. Clean pool

Nothing

Always clean with friendly staff.

Food for breakfast could be better.

- Lovely hotel 100/10. - Friendly staffs. - Big room with lots of space. - Comfortable bed. - Huge bath tub. - Fridge, microwave, & coffee maker in room. - Pool & lots of outdoor hangout space. - Breakfast was excellent & delicious (toast/bread, sausage, eggs, French toast, pancakes, yogurt, fruits, cereal, coffee, juice, milk, hot water). - Lots of parking. - Multiple entrances. - Clean ice machine. - Quiet & relaxing stay.

- Pillows had a not-so-pleasant smell, but we just covered them with our towels & it hid the smell.

The location was great for us but you do need a car. Very quiet at night, helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Would return anytime, only thing missing was a kettle in the room but thats a British thing so not complaining

Early finish , 9.0 am on the breakfast but that's all

Very clean, quiet

It’s an older, but very well maintained property with nicely modernized rooms with high ceilings. The continental breakfast featured belgian waffle irons, which was a plus.

The AC unit could be too loud and come on too often at night. But it can easily be turned off once you figure out the button configuration on the wall thermostat. Also, while I appreciate the availability and the size of the mini fridge, mine did not cool my food sufficiently. A quick swap out with a newer unit should fix that.

Stay here often. Clean and accommodating staff!

Receptionist is excellent. The bathroom is spacious and clean

The breakfast is limited varieties

Free parking & location near SNA

Noisy room airconditioning
