Provider-sourced guest reviews.
The location is great, away from the main road, but easily accessible. The rooms are to a uniformly good standard. Food in the attached Palomino’s restaurant is excellent. Staff were very helpful.
Minor comment - the bedside light couldn’t be operated without getting out of bed and no means of charging a phone by the bed.
Fantastic location views amazing very peaceful
Nothing
Amazing place . Number 1 choice . Clean, value for money
The only thing was the smell of sewage round the side lane leading to fields
Rooms were far too hot. Fan on the go from check in. And heatin on! Which couldn’t be turned off. Most uncomfortable nights sleep
Sauberes und komfortables Hotel inmitten einer Reitanlage. Frühstück war sehr gut
Etwas weit außerhalb von Glasgow. Ohne Auto schwierig
The restaurant/bar were good, food was good and service was okay
The staff were very young and operated unsupervised. The breakfast area was dirty, coffee machine didn’t work, buffet was not filled so there were big gaps in the buffet. House keeping team not great, left dirty cleaning clothes in the room and didn’t fill up coffee and milk sachets. Most disappointing experience is how the staff at reception couldn’t calculate our bill, we left paying our bill in full, only to be then contacted to advise we had short paid and then had to pay in more!
Horses
Waiting to get service at dinner. Then asking to gave room serviced and never did.
The view
The hotel set out couldn't find where breakfast was never spoke or seen staff during our visit
Very well laid out, spacious and the rooms in the hotel were fantastic. Staff were outstanding! Very polite, highly professional, efficient and very well presented at all times. The food in Palamino’s restaurant was exquisite and the Stornoway Chicken was exceptional. We had a fantastic 2 day stay for work and were made to feel very welcome at all times.
Was clean
I paid for a delux room I was room 23 I had a baby with me and there was someone on the balcony beside me playing music too all hours also I requested a travel cot and it was broken so had to sleep with the baby in bed with us also got a iron from reception and it was black it had burnt something previously when I went to iron my top the black marks have been transferred on to my T-shirt
good breafast and bed
room temperature servicing of room didnt happen 1 day no coffee no water next day cups left dirty
This was my 2nd stay and my favourite place to just escape that is relatively local. Peaceful location. Can watch the horses from the window. Jacuzzi in the room, clean and tidy room. Bed was very comfy, best sleep ive had since my last stay!
Everything was mostly perfect. Very expensive for the one night I stayed. £100 more than I spent a few months ago for the exact same room.
The detail put into these cabins is so very much appreciated, beautiful bed linen, black out curtains, comfortable and new beds. The owners are definitely really concerned with the visitor experience. No expense spared to make the stay as comfortable and clean as home
Nothing... the owners have thought of everthing
The shower in the spare bathroom was not working properly as it kept switching from hot to very cold whilst showering
Beautiful location
For the overall cost of the room I didn't really see why it was worth just as much.
Everything amazing
£10 service charge in restaurant Bill £31 pounds ten pounds charge think this is Not good surprising
Alles was goed
Good breakfast
Room was disabled room that we did not request and was on the bottom floor no net curtains or blinds for privacy x coffe pods but no coffee machine. The room was next to door to reception door which was used all night
Hotel was perfect for event at the Braehead Arena, breakfast was really good
Restaurant in hotel the food was good, however the service wasn’t the best. Wine dumped on table no glasses, warm wine glasses, then the fries we ordered never arrived for main course
Best ever
Loved it all
It was stunning, rustic and cosy!
Mattresses were a little uncomfortable but we still enjoyed our stay.
Lovely place , friendly helpful staff. Nice atmosphere and food was delicious
Location was great and the breakfast was wonderful
Some of the lights in the room didn't work and the duvet was thin. One of the pillows was marked.
The hotel was set in nice peaceful surroundings.
This was advertised as a spa hotel. It had nothing. I booked for my boyfriends birthday. Staff were most unhelpful. They never looked into this for me. Booking.com never got back to help me either. I paid almost £200 for a basic room with no spa facilities and was really disappointed.
Cooking facilities
Pleasant friendly Staff, clean rooms, location,
Service in bar was slow, with no obvious reason.
Breakfast was first class, everything that you could have wanted. Everything was fresh, even the poached eggs that we asked for!!!
wifi was terrible.
Nice modern building, set in a beautiful location.
It’s all good.
Very nice setting
Room was of a travel-lodge standard
Great place. Interesting with the equine theme. Lovely staff without exception. Great vibe in the dining area and good food.
Dinner was excellent but breakfast was average to good. Minor issue in an overall very enjoyable stay.
Was superb ,clean plenty of room really enjoyable
Great restaurant for evening meal
No fridge in room
I loved the room - they gave us a junior suite
No EV charger
Dinner very good, Room Excellent value. Breakfast OK cooked breakfast had been sitting for a while should be freshly made. Coffee and tea making overly complicated for self service with staff standing around. Better to have staff making and serving tea/coffee.
Quality of cooked breakfast
Waited 40 mins to be served and had to ask for menu and go to bar as waitresses didn't approach Room hot Dyson Aircon wasn't very cool and hairdryer stopped working but receptionist provided another
Nowhere near a 5 star establishment. No air-conditioning, bathroom was small, weird door that allowed you to be on the toilet while someone was in the shower. No additional facilities apart from a restaurant and bar that served over priced gastro pub grub. Clean though and if you were there for a certain horse themed event then fair enough but by no means a 5 star establishment unfortunately.
Gastronomen wissen so etwas eigentlich.
The beautiful surroundings and the lodge itself was wooden and beautiful
May be keep some facial tissue boxes.
The overall idea and vibe of the stay was good.
In our lodge there was a strong damp smell. Similar to that of used dirty water that had been left. When making complaint there was no care given. We also communicated via email and almost a week on and no reply from management either. Even although we were told someone would reply.
Every thing was great
Nothing
The vista
The lack of respect to the environment by the staff of all departments.
Property is in a great location, Palomino’s restaurant is excellent and the whole venue makes for a really pleasant stay when working away from home.
Would be great if rooms had air conditioning.
Lovely location
WiFi was awful
Great location, easy to get to Glasgow city. Welcoming reception. Good selection of breakfast.
We had both lunch and dinner in your restaurant both were very good but i must mention the steak i had was one of the best i have eaten.
We stayed in one of the cottages really nice but not very well cleaned needs this was a disappointment.
I rang the hotel as we had arrived earlier than we expected, I asked if we could check in earlier, the receptionist said she would call m when the room was ready, and she did.
The parking wasn't great. I think a wedding or a celebration was taking place on the same day, and eventually we worked out there was overflow car park, even that was busy.
Beautiful rooms excellent location good breakfast friendly staff
How did I not know, before our visit, that this Oasis existed within easy reach of Glasgow, the Erskine Bridge and the road to the Highlands. Our room had a fantastic view and was extremely comfortable and well appointed. Dinner was well cooked and portion sizes were spot on. Didn't get chance to try breakfast due to an early hospital appointment. Would love to try a Lodge on our next visit. Staff were attentive, well turned out and very professional. Well done Ingliston Country Club.
What's not to like!
Staff and service in restraunte. Lodge was lovely but expected hot tub. Booked through booking .com for first night. Not explained no tub. Coffee machine fab Missing dressong gowns
No hot tub No bath. Cooker could been cleaner. No microwave Not all rooms with dresding gowns
The setting, the horses, the food . Everything was perfect.
The young girl at reception was very helpful, offering to put my freezer packs for my medication in the hotels freezer as there was no fridge in my room. My fault, I should have checked what came with the room but she made me feel very welcome, even though I was sick with head and chest infection. There were so many choices for breakfast it was hard to decide what to have first. Bed was very comfortable; the shower was hot, but it had one of those big round roses which made it hard NOT to get my hair wet. I had a head & chest infection and didnt want to go to bed with wet/damp hair.
The room was a little stuffy when I first entered. I noticed that the window was locked open which I didn't mind as I always like to have fresh air at night. There was a Dyson like air blower but no instructions on how to use it. I finally figured it out. BUT, everytime I made a chanel/program change, the air blower would turn off, a bit annoying at first but I figured out how not to have this happen.
Great food atmsphere and location
Pillows and bed not comfortable at all
I gave this feedback at the time on visiting in person to the Restaurant Manager so this won't be a shock for them to see. Slow service, disinterested staff who don't frequently check in on the tables they're meant to be managing and the food is average at best these days. Recent visit included a hotel stay for some of the party and for the couple staying the bedding was stained with makeup/fake tan. Asked to sit outside for 30 minutes while we waited for our indoor table and was told "no tables" but managed to book a table online for the outdoor space while waiting at the bar for a drink for the exact 30 minutes I needed. Clearly an issue there with the booking system. When sat at our table for dinner, the service was so slow to take our drinks and get them then eventually our food order was taken. When the wine was brought to the table, the bottle was opened and left at the end of the table with the glasses so we had to hand the glasses out ourselves and pour our own wine. From sitting to getting our starters it was 50 minutes. We chased twice asking where the food was. Too slow and too long a wait when you have kids with you. Our booking was at 4pm so wasn't exactly a 'peak' time. Appreciate the Restaurant Manager trying to ascertain where the problems happened regarding timings for us but they do need to remember the customer is always right and no customer should be made to feel things are their fault when it took the restaurant staff too long to take the food order in the first place. The food was average, I wouldn't write home about any of it. These issues were raised at the time and we did receive a 10% meal discount but it shouldn't ever have to get to that stage. Disappointed.
The room was lovely and the terrace with hot tub was amazing.
Quiet clean bed was good
Easy to find. Lots of parking
Food was terrible - felt like everything came out of the freezer or a packet.
Mooie kamers, zeer comfortabel
Restaurant niet in hotel zelf. Voor ons te groot van opzet.
We stayed in the lodge Fallabella which was beautiful. This was our 2nd booking within a month to come here, we love it.
The size of the double bed could be bigger but I realise the tight space in the lodges to provide this but it would make it much more comfortable.
I love staying at Ingliston - so handy for visiting my family in Bishopton. Rooms are clean and well stocked with tea, coffee and biscuits. They also provide toiletries if needed. For the price of the hotel, I am not keen on some of their breakfast items - square sausage and black pudding are poor quality, fried eggs rubbery and hard. Croissants are slso poor quslity. Fresh fruit and cereals are very good though - wide variety to choose from. Staff are pleasant.
Nice from the outside
Room was untidy, food was disgusting
Tolle Unterkunft mit Pferde-Reit-Anlage. Das Zimmer Upgrade auf eine komplette Lodge war Mega. Das Jubiläum-Angebot im Restaurant Palomino's war ebenfalls Super. Das Frühstück war überschaubar und gut.
Location
Lodge was a bit tired and not as nice as hotel rooms
Excellent breakfast and great service
No other facilities nearby
Ross is the best . He is always friendly, he is very funny and professional a total asset to the hotel . I have booked again for June. Food is good . Rooms need upgraded, cushions are thread bairn .
Everything was perfect...genuinely!
Nothing...I'd gladly return.
Dinner was good and breakfast was average on what been offered at other places at low price.
The staff was on edge. look like big brother was watching them all the time. We have stayed at other Country Club like this. but horse theme was overboard. But it was great stay.
We went to Ingliston for lunch. Its a venue which we have frequently visited over the years usually for dinner. Its always decent and usually good value but this time for value and quality at lunch they excelled. A very tasty soup and sandwich lunch was served excellently for two at under £25 !!!!!!
Breakfast and location very well
small room
Lodges were spotless and value for money and staff are so helpful and excellant service and hottub was hot amd so tranquil
I always stay in hotel with dinner bed and breakfast Had family cook the breakfast but no vomplaonts
Tutto,camera,bagno,ambiente,posizione e colazioneniente

Hot in the room. No cooling apart from fan.
The grounds to the hotel are stunning
A really great location for the wedding we were attending, staff were really nice and helpful
All good
Sehr gut eingerichtete Cabin, geschmackvoll.
Great place to stay
I was really looking forward to our lunch on Monday 25th. However things did not go as well as they should. We went in on Saturday and whilst having a drink decided to book for lunch on the Monday. The receptionist took the booking but advised that she did not know about the restaurant when I asked how the menus and where we sat worked. Our booking was for 1pm and we arrived prompt as I had received 2 texts to confirm the booking. The first issue was that I was told our booking was for inside and they were struggling to fit us in outside. The receptionist had not advised us that there was a difference in booking inside or outside. It was a beautiful day and obviously we preferred to be outside. Kai, the supervisor told us she would get menus and a drinks order shortly. After 15 minutes I eventually managed to catch someone and we got menus and placed a drinks order. Again we waited a while till the food order was taken. After an hour we got the starter (only 1 had been ordered). A further half hour later I approached Kai to ask how much longer we were likely to be. She was very apologetic and advised she had chased the kitchen again for us. 15 minutes later we got the food, the food was excellent and Kai did come to check we were happy with it. We waited for our plates to be cleared and I had to ask for dessert menus, as the young lady serving us was very poor at being proactive about her tables. I noticed a number of tables having to ask her for more drinks, I don't think she once asked any table if they needed anything. Her demeanor and manner were poor. Kai, came with the desert menus and told us we would not be charged for them. She really did care and was very, good on a very busy day, but was let down by the team and the kitchen. I was happy to add a small gratuity as I know from experience how hard that job is having spent 20 odd years in hotel management. We will be back, the venue is really lovely and from our experience on Saturday the staff are very good, but Monday seems to have been an off day all round.
Location
Lack of requested gluten free food.
A bit different
Calm and serine environment great weekend retreat.
Was supposed to be self catering lodge so we expected cooking facilities particularly a hob but unfortunately it was only a microwave we had . Disappointing as we brought food to cook and enjoy some privacy but had to get red of the food as there’s no cooker . I would have rated a lot better had we got what we expected .
Plenty parking Very good pub/ restaurant Very clean room and hotel. Special thank you to the housemaid who found my wallet and the receptionist for phoning me.
The room walls were too thin. We could hear every word spoken by the couple of ladies next door. They weren't particularly loud.
Countryside close to city Great breakfast
Small rooms not much room for luggage
Everything,we enjoyed our short stay and we will be back.
