The first room I was given had heavily stained sheets. There was no way I could stay there. I went to reception and they gave me another room, which was better. Overall the place is getting very rundown and I've been staying there for over 14 years on and off. Cleaning and maintenance is very poor compared to what it used to be like but the service desk staff are very helpful and the restaurant is good
You cannot speak to any staff properly. If you communicate in english they will just ignore you the same thing when you call the reception. I stayed 5 days but they never change my bidding. The smell of the bath towels are terrible. The supposed white biddings are almost yellow in color. Pillows are yucky to use not hygienic. Kinda far also from the city center. Mosquitos and many different insect flies are everywhere. I have free breakfast but I only took it once due to the hygiene and poor kinds of food.
Très calme belle piscine

An excellent quiet hotel. My room was spacious and well decorated. The pool and garden area are very good. Handy for the North bus terminal, the Bangkok/Pattaya run. It's a ten minute walk.
Good
I thought Diana Gardens was a great place to stay. A little out of the way but it was nice and quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel very much. I would stay here again if I visited Pattaya.
This photos on Expedia for this property are nothing like the place you stay there is two properties and they but photos from one to show the other it is the worst place I have ever stay I booked for five nights and I left as soon as I could on the second day Expedia should review photographs of accommodation on there site as if this is the norm I for one would not use them again
Great staff and great hotel
A relaxing and friendly place but a bit dated and could improve transport links in to town
Service was fine, staff were fine, but the rooms were sub-par. Wifi was spotty to not useful, electric heater in shower didnt work, so no warm water. Only 2 elecyricsl outlets old-style.It's a cheap place to stay, but just too many problems. Far away from everything, so if youre there for the experience.... rhis isnt the place. Pool area was realky nice. Overall.... skip it
This hotel is let down by a substandard buffet and rude waiting staff. Apart from that the rooms are fine although a little dated. Outside is a rather nice swimming pool and adjacent a small gym. For anyone interested in golf there is a driving range at the resort as well. The hotel is just 5 minutes walk away from Pattaya North bus station, and there is a shuttle bus that runs every 2 hours into the centre of Pattaya. There is no laundry facility at the resort however just down the road is laundry shop that provide a very good service.
Nice place. A little bit off from center of town and the food could improve.
Got to stay in old building while my colleague got new building. Room very old second door lock not in working condition, have to fix myself, TV not working. The room and building recognize to the horror movie. I can find better hotel for this room rate.
Quiet place to relax
Great hotel. Big pool, gym, all for price of standard hotel room.
For me it was handy dandy, as they have a good pool and a driving range right on site . I was probably in the cheaper part of the resort but the bed was comfy and a good sized fridge is nice to have. 7/11 just down the road to stock up your supplies. For the price I can’t complain. Shower gave me some trouble and they fixed it immediately. All staff was friendly.
I chose a hotel which was outside of the very busy and noisy tourist areas of downtown and beachfront Pattaya. So I reserved the Diana Garden as it looked quiet and with a nice garden area as the name suggests. Yes it has a good garden & pool area, but unfortunately there are two sides of the pool and garden area directly beside a road, thankfully not a main road, but certainly still always busy with all traffic, constant noisy motorbikes, tour buses, and also commercial vehicles and delivery trucks go right past the pool area which makes it totally impossible to relax there... You can even see all the traffic going right past only about 10m from you by the pool, and the noise and the fumes are just too much...! The hotel has two completely different accommodation types... The garden bungalows which seem very nice, although exposed to the traffic noise, and a second downmarket accommodation block with three floors of cheap, old, well used rooms. I saw the pictures of the bungalow accommodation, but I paid for the cheaper accommodation block room, but it was unfortunately worse than I had expected, because it was definitely very old, and very well used... The only good point was that it was away from the roadside so it was quiet inside, but I imagine that the garden bungalows were nicely appointed, but sure far too close to the noisy road traffic to be able to relax properly at all...! The staff also always seemed a bit tired, so that didn't help either,
For the price we paid, we have stayed in more expensive hotels which were not as good, always kept clean even though we were in old block. Security was very good as you needed a fob to enter the lift or stairs from ground floor. However, because of security fobs, it could be a problem if one person remained in room.Would have prefered two towels per person and also the balcony was very small but could be used.
The hotel has two wings & we stayed in the older one. Rooms are more or less basic but that was ok for the price that we paid. Staff at the reception was efficient & courteous. The buffet was also just about acceptable but had very limited choice for vegetarians. Hotel has a nice swimming pool & gym. Since the hotel is located about 3-4 kms from the beach, they have a free shuttle running every two hours to take the guests there. Overall nothing negative except mentioned above.
I have stayed here in the past, its okay cheap rooms but the food was sub standard and pricey with few other options near by. I now come here for the golf driving range which is one of the best in pattaya.
Mycket bra för det låga priset. Perfekt för rullstolsburna. Dålig räckvidd på WiFi. Påver frukost för faranger.
As stated l we have stayed here several times over the years of travelling to Thailand, wouldn't keep returning unless l was more than happy. Friendly and helpful staff, very clean rooms, swimming pool and gym, nice restaurant serving food inexpensive food, free bus every hour in to Pattaya. We would recommend the Diana Garden Resort as a perfect holiday destination.
Pool very big and clean . restaurant good breakfast
Just returned from a fabulous trip to Thailand. Pattaya has a bad press but I found the staff at Diana friendly and helpful. The resort has everything you require. Families, disabled or solo. A free two hour bus service to the beach and the city centre. Accommodation for economy in theor home The hotel has excellent rooms for those who wish to spend more and their family lodges too. The food offered is European and thai. Of ypu loke golf there are numerous courses in easy reacj or just spend time on their range. If you want day trips to islands, the big bhudda, water park and much more. I'll be back for certain. Bus station two minutes walk to many destinations around Thailand and a local airport for travel to phuket, Cambodia and Vietnam. Belltravel air con coaches can be booked from bkk airport or city. They arrive at the bus station and then mini bus you to your hotel or apartment.
I have been staying in the hotel for three months for the past few years and have always been delighted with my stay, however this year there have been changes which many regular visitors are disappointed with, The biggest concern is the complimentary bus which two years ago ran into the city every hour has now changed to every two hours leading to overcrowding especially Dec/Jan and on occasion resulting in extreme aggravation. The swimming pool has been completely refurbished but the floor is lethal when wet so extreme care is necessary and there are still insufficient sunbeds and brollys to meet demand causing angry words again, and finally the hotel has seen fit to raise the price of their drinks so much that most guest go to the little restaurant round the corner for their nightly pub session as the drinks are half the price. Still in its favour, the staff are brilliant the rooms are clean ,there is a great family atmosphere of old friends around the pool and the hotel is still the best value in Pattaya, We have even suggested that they purchase a large used container where we can keep our luggage from one year to the next.
We stayed at this hotel for 2 months. The room was large but never cleaned properly by the chamber maids. The bed was often just made and not changed. Staff were very rude but for one or two. One so much so that every time we walked past she made a point of looking away. The pool was amazing, a great pool to swim in but the gym is not as the pictures showed and the running machine did not work. Breakfast was a good selection from a buffet that was kept warm by candles. Room had a balcony that was great and we were given complementary drinking water (bottles) each day. Was expensive for the area.
Stayed many times before, however this Nov+Dec very disappointed. Staff remain their best asset. Managment however not so good, some 'policy' decisions seem more focused on "profit" than good service. Disabled room previously had 2 televisions; 1 removed making viewing only from bed. Asked for 1 extra pillow, charged 20 bhat/night thats over £10/month for a pillow! Kettle removed not available for making 'in room hot drinks' previously breakfast included; this year an extra 150 bhat/day, equals 4650 or £86 month, so check before booking. Finally, appaling wifi provision, old equitment which kept falling over, totally unreliable. Management not interested. Shall not be booking next year, sadly.
good hotel great pool but nothing in the area nothing
In duration of my stay the swimming pool was out of order. I think if you spend a little more you can get better hotel.
Bed was quite stiff, room was mediocre but good for what you pay
brilliant hotel, just around the corner from the bus station, away from the beach and the continous harrasment, lovely pool, free bus from the hotel stopping along the front and several other destinations.the staff were lovely
The windows ofthe room are so dirty like no cleaning in a year. The breakfast is cold old prefab ham in Luke warm water cold sausages and tastless potatoes. The area of the hotel is far away from anything very far to walk to taxi butalso notquiet construction notice and motorbikes will keep you entertained day and night. for 1000thb a night for a small smelly dirty room you can find much better for less in Pattaya there are so many new try hard hotels to find a great deal for a new hotel. But if you are into retro style with a little touch of the 1970's from the eastern blocks you are just right here.
not very good room, shower poor, the staff in the dining was not friendly did not smile also the bar staff very rude they wrote in Thia, that we the farlangs were like dogs. YOU SEE I CAN READ THIA LANGUAGE this was written on our bar bins. Get your staff sorted a BAD HOTEL
We have stayed here in the past few years and returned once again. It is clean and a nice place to stay out of the hustle and madness of some of Pattaya. The staff is very polite and easy to communicate with in all things relative. The restaurant food is ok but you will find more to your liking out in the city.
Stayed in the main building Jasmine Room on the third floor (hotel has a lift) room is big enough, large double bed, bathroom shower over bath nice large balcony two bottles of water and cofee/tea making facilities in room WiFii was reliable tv has good range of english channels the hotel pool is a good size the location is ok one block from the main Pattaya bus station (bus to airport/bangkok etc) restaurant food is quite good the hotel has a free bus to/and pick up central pattaya every two hours during the day .breakfast is 150baht.... staff friendly...can hire a motorbike at the door. would i stay here again yes golf driving range is part of hotel if you are agolfer
Quite a good place but the room being need to be improved, a little bit old.
Having returned to this hotel for three months for the past four years I am still pleasantly surprised by the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff, Most of the rooms have recently been refurbished to a very high standard, they have installed a hoist in the swimming pool for the convenience of the many disabled guests who return every year, On the whole all the services have been improved with the exception of the bus transfer into the city which is about 20mins drive, Whereas the bus used to run into town on the odd hour and return on the even hour, it has now been reduced to a two hourly round trip causing disappointment and frustration to many guests, as the bus only comfortably accommodates some 16 passengers, in the early evening if you don't arrive early many guests are left behind ( sometimes causing ill feeling between the guests)and on the return journey the shopping places are badly located and you can be waiting for up to 40 mins or miss the bus depending on traffic. This will need to be resolved before next year as it causes dissatisfaction and frustration to the guests. The erection of a new Macro store to the front of the hotel has made rooms close by noisy also noisy rubbish collection lorry at 1/2am disturbs the heaviest sleeper.
We stayed for one night as we were attending a party booked in the large function room. From the moment we pulled up in our car and were shown to a parking space in the secure car park, we were made to feel welcome. I've stayed in many hotels and guest houses all over Thailand, and this one I'd have no hesitation in recommending and booking into again. I've read the negative reports and am at a loss as to why someone would post such a review? But, you speak as you find in life, and I can only say good things about this hotel. Bearing in mind the price, which is a budget hotel price, I've paid much more and gotten far less. I found the place was clean everywhere, the room was spotless, the pool area was nice, it was quiet, I was able to sleep without any problems, the breakfast was as good as anywhere else and the staff were terrific. Oh and the wifi was good and without any hitches, I was on the 4th floor, nice strong signal.
When we arrived the stuff where very friendly and showed us to are room we decided to change rooms because we wanted a little bigger and they helped us to do that with no fuss at all very good very clean would recommend to anyone we found it was perfect location not to far from all the action but far enough and with it being a 2 min walk from the coach station you can get a taxi very easily

We chose Diana Garden Resort primarily because it was in North Pattaya so close to Pattaya Bangkok Hospital where I was booked in for 'Supersight' eye surgery. I should also state that I'd read some bad reviews, conflicting with glowing reviews online and so I looked at pictures of the rooms. The bad reviews didn't jive with the pictures I was looking at and I realised there were several generations / sections to this resort. Diana Homes, Diana Hotel and Diana Lodge. It appears to me that those who complained had mostly stayed in the older accommodation and it didn't reflect the existing modern hotel or its' facilities. We had stayed previously in a modern, ultra clean & friendly boutique hotel called CK Residence, opposite the Big C Mall in South Pattaya. We only moved because of its'distance from the hospital and the absence of a lift to the 3rd floor (European 3rd - that's 3 floors above Ground for Americans), which mattered because I have damaged legs and was suffering. On arrival at Diana Gardens Resort, we found the staff to be friendly, informative and able to explain everything in English. It was still morning and I hadn't eaten so I was hungry and a full buffet breakfast was only 120 Baht even though we hadn't checked in yet. There was unlimited tea & coffee included so I had my fill of cereals, fruits, ham, eggs & sausages. I passed on the salad bar, soup, congee & noodle dishes. We were then offered an older, timber built cottage which we looked at but declined, partly because the facilities were very old (not dirty though) and also because it had 2 bedrooms with queen beds and our daughter suffers some separation issues. We chose instead to stay in the main hotel building in a north facing room on the 4th floor (American 4th this time, 3 floors above ground) with twin beds. Everything was fresh and clean, well appointed bathroom, great bedding, quiet aircon (split type with remote), cable tv and a really usable balcony with nice furniture, good wifi (which I'm now uploading this review on) and good lighting. When we checked in, the price was quoted as 1,150 Baht but when I paid 2 days in advance, a discount was applied which brought it down to 1,000 Baht per night which included 2 buffet breakfasts per day. 2 complimentary bottles of water were put in the room each day too. The discount was automatically applied when we extended for a third night. This represents outstanding value for this accommodation. There is a pool and jacuzzi which look very clean with crystal clear water on our visit. The surrounding grounds were kept spotless and well furnished with recliners and tables that guests could eat their restaurant meals at if they wished. There is a quiet reading nook, just off the main lobby & restaurant area, with a reasonable library for those who like to lose themselves between the pages of a good book in peace and quiet. Motorcycles are available to hire on a daily rate at regular local price, located in the grounds just outside the main door. Taxis could be summoned by request at reception, even at short notice if required. The only thing that would have improved the quality of the room, and it in no way detracted from our enjoyment was the CRT television set which no doubt will be upgraded to a modern LCD or LED in due course This was off - season for Pattaya and during the time of political unrest and a military regime so it's possible these prices will not stand for very long, once tourism recovers again. However, it made Philippines look very expensive indeed and we felt much more secure here than in Philippines. Attitude of staff is important to me and I have to say, we were impressed with the friendliness shown to us, many of the staff members spontaneously made a fuss of our daughter which made a difference to us on our first family trip in Thailand and first time ever to this resort. I would recommend this hotel to those with families and to older people who want a quieter stay than can be found on Pattaya Beach Road or Jomtien Beach with all the attendant hustle & bustle. I will certainly be returning....
What a bad example for cleanliness and friendly staff! Rooms are dirty, special the bathrooms. Bed an bed sheds stinks and not even during complaint it was changed! Restaurant. Food good but surrounding! Bottles and other crab for dust catching! Poor! Nice size rooms. Could be a great 3 star hotel with the right management.
I have stayed at this resort for the past four years. It is so good that as soon as I arrive K book for next year the resort is devided to three accommodations, Diana hotel, the most expensive, Diana Homes middle ranges and Diana lodge the budget accommodation, which ever you choose they are serviced with restaurant, swimming pool Jacuzzi, golf driving range, launderette facilities and clean water facilities there is a free bus service into town every other hour.of all the hotels in Pattaya none offer the friendly service, cheap first class accommodation and the same friendly faces every year
I have stayed at the Diana garden home for the past three years and find it relaxing away from the main bustle of Pattaya city, located 10 minutes ride outside the city it has everything you need on sight or close by
Stayed for one month at this venue at the Diana home. There id the main hotel, the Diana lodge and the Diana home. The home is fully refirbished so the rooms are very clean and come with a nice shower area the room is serviced twice a week and a 200 baht tip £4 a week will bring you as much water and towels as you need. I looked at the rooms in the Diana lodge which were more basic and did not have ac but were cheaper. Must go to the Corner Bar / Resteraunt. From the hotel reception turn right and follow your nose to the junction at the end of this road on your right is the Corner Bar. Its Thailands equivilant to Fawlty Towers!! Run by mad Englishman Raymond and his Thai Tiger wife Bee. You could not ask for a more accomadating couple. So helpful it made my holiday Food is fabulous amd cheap. Some mad English gent showed Ray and Bee how to make English Sausages the chaos that ensued is ledgendary. A lovely team and family and i would pay the airfare alone. for the experiance. Dont go to the hotel without going to Ray Bees Corner Bar. You may see me in the Rouges Gallery in the window of the shop. All the best. Andy O'Regan
I stayed here for 2 weeks, courtesy of a friend who rents one of the rooms in what they call the 'Home'. Keys handed over and checked into room was very smooth. The room was small and the furniture was slightly jaded but was clean and had a small balcony. You could wash you own clothes just outside for 30-40 Baht (only 10 Baht coins accepted) in the machines to the right of the entrance gate. Location was quiet and the pool was OK although hardly used during my stay. Golf driving range just past the pool and they also run a free bus (small truck) into Soi Buakhao (downtown'ish with many bars and restaurants) every other hour and back between 8am and 11pm. Baht buses run from Pattaya North Road (150 mtr walk) all the way to and along Beach Road. (10 Baht each is the fare)
I had the misfortune to stay in this hotel last night. First there was no staff at reception, and no staff anywhere to be seen. Finally managed to find someone to check in, not a great start and very unfriendly and no apology. Grabbed the money and I was shown to a room. At first glance the room was well overdue renovation, however things got worse, the shower was difficult to get wet under, and the little water that did come out did not drain away, the toilet was constantly running water, the aircon was noisy, and the bed uncomfortable. Breakfast was the sort of thing that one would expect 10 years ago, coffee and tea on warmers, putrid ham and thai sausage floating in hot water. I am embarrassed to think that as a company we had put staff in this hotel and I had signed off their invoices. Never again! It wasn't even worth 600 Baht let alone 1,050 Baht. Shame on you.
