2 petits pains pour un régime sans gluten qui avait été prévenu la veille … heureusement que j avais amener le mien car difficile d aller randonner avec aussi peu de glucides….

Everything was amazing here! The room was comfortable with lots of amenities. We had access to the spa, so after a day of hiking, we were able to enjoy the jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. The front desk was also able to schedule a massage for me and even went to the trouble to ask for a massage therapist who spoke English! Very classy! The breakfast was delicious with lots of fresh bread (the brioche was out of this world!). Plenty of food options to choose from. Very relaxing and enjoyable place to stay. I would definitely go back there if I was in the Chamonix area.

Our stay was lovely and relaxing. We also experienced an emergency involving our son, and the staff were amazing—they were helpful, empathetic, and calm when we needed it most. This is what distinguishes good staff from truly exceptional staff. Thank you once again for everything!

I loved the location which was a little away from the hassle & basel of Chamonix but stil close enough for hiking around. The hotel itself is very nice, rooms are basic but very comfortable. The SPA is part of the deal and it is great having after a long day outside. It includes a heated pool, 2 sauna, and an outdoor jacozy. The breakfast is reach, having good selection of food and drinks. For dinner, you are 5 min. drive from Argentiere center where you have several good resturants. The best of all is " La petite verte".

The pool and hot tub are as nice as they look in the pictures. Very refreshing, very clean, very relaxing. We loved that we could open the sliding doors to the balcony and enjoy the fresh air. There is no air conditioning, but this is well noted in the reservation. We were visiting in summer so we opened the balcony doors at night for fresh air and it brought the outdoors into our room (and no bugs!). In addition, the town was silent overnight. You really felt like you were out in the country even if you were not. The staff was excellent and friendly. I saw an elderly woman looking for just the right seat on the lawn overlooking Mt Blanc, and she couldn't find a comfortable one in the right position. So one of the staff brought her a chair, positioned it on the lawn for her in just the right spot and she enjoyed her drink with a view. Such an unexpected, unrequired gesture but indicative of the thoughtfulness of the staff. When we visit Chamonix or Argentiere again, this would be the place we stay.

We stayed in a family room with two floors. The views were absolutely incredible of Mont Blanc and the gardens of the hotel. Our room was beautifully clean and it was also really lovely to receive a welcome message and gifts ☺️. There was also spa facilities including a jacuzzi and pretty indoor pool, but we didn’t have time to enjoy them. Lots of available parking and we were okay to leave our car there on our final day to visit Chamonix after we had checked out.

Au est qd même à un certain standard et je pense que la piscine aurait pu être à 2-3 degré de plus. L’éclairage dans la salle de bain était vraiment mauvais pour se raser ou se maquiller Ils ont réunis deux lits pour faire un grand lit, c’est ok mais ils auraient pu mettre une double couette au lieu de deux simple couette. Ça faisait un peu service au rabais. C’est vraiment dommage car le reste était vraiment très bien

Wat een prachtig hotel! Mijn partner en ik wandelden de TMB en kwamen dus na een lange wandeling met een grote rugzak toe in het hotel. We werden zeer vriendelijk onthaald. De kamer was gewoonweg prachtig en heel proper! De wellness was zalig om na al dat wandelen van te genieten. De bedden lagen heerlijk om in te slapen. In de ochtend genoten we van het ontbijt. Ik heb nog maar weinig zo een uitgebreid en superlekker ontbijt gehad. Dit is een hotel om te onthouden en naar terug te komen.

Ik kan me niets bedenken.

There is no A/C, but with 80plus deg F the room was able to stay cold enough.

Les Grands Montets is a great property. It's well maintained, comfortable and elegant in an understated way. We had a superior room with a terrific view of Mont Blanc. The spa area is nice. The breakfast had a varied selection of delicious things. The jam selection was amazing. A special mention to the exceptional front desk staff the afternoon of 10 juillet and morning of 11 juillet 2026. They were very engaging and understood the art of hospitality. Merci beaucoup pour un très bel séjour!

A cold plunge pool or tub would bring the spa area to the next level.

Incredible location if you get the mountain view (it's well worth the extra cost!) and the staff was amazing, not mention breakfast being one of the best I had at a hotel. All in all, this goes into one of my top hotel list

The location of this hotel was fantastic, a beautiful place to relax at the end of the day. The “snacks” available in the evening are sufficient as a meal and the breakfast was exceptional.

eigentlich alles, schönes Zimmer und nichts fehlte darin. Die Aussicht war auch sehr schön. Es war sehr ruhig und bei offenem Fenster wurde man durch die zwitschernden Vögel geweckt. Frühstück war auch sehr gut. Wir haben die Zeit richtig genossen und empfehlen dieses Hotel auch weiter.

Checking in with Maxine was wonderful. He was so helpful, gave us a free up grade, made a call for dinner recommendations and reservations and said our breakfast was included. The views were stunning and the room was great.

Checking out with Monica was terrible. She was rude and condescending. She told us that our breakfast was not included and that her colleague made a mistake and makes lots of mistakes. Finally she agreed not to charge us extra as it was not our mistake.

Incredibly friendly staff especially Pierre and Vanessa, and Maxine. Made us feel right at home. It is in a nice location and is a very attractive (if a bit dated) hotel building with amenities. Very good value for the money, we had great view from our room of Mont Blanc, see picture below.

No complaints except maybe replace the laundry room dryer with more powerful model, and replace the toilet paper receptacles with toilet paper rolls.

Wij hadden een standaard kamer geboekt en ontvingen een upgrade op aankomst. Hierdoor kregen wij onverwacht een kamer met uitzicht op de Mont Blanc. Wat een fantastische ervaring om in een hotelkamer te mogen verblijven met zo’n fantastisch en uniek uitzicht. Daarnaast zijn de bedden zalig en is de spa een absolute aanrader. Kortom: een heerlijk hotel!

Le cadre, l'hôtel, la chambre et le Spa étaient absolument magnifique et très bien entretenu. L'hôtel et la chambre tout de bois sont absolument charmant.

La localisation de l'hôtel est un peu excentré de Chamonix centre, sortir se balader à pieds dans les environs est peu envisageable, mais l'hôtel se trouve littéralement au pied d'un télécabine, alors en hiver cela n'a pas de prix.

L’hôtel est très authentique et charmant. La vue sur le Mont Blanc est superbe. Nous avons également apprécié avoir des choix vegan (lait végétal, yaourt soja notamment ) au petit déjeuner. Le spa était excellent !

Vibey and overall great night stay!!

L'hôtel était très beau, un très joli cadre. La vue de la chambre vue Mont-Blanc était vraiment magnifique. La chambre en elle même était très jolies et propre. Nous avons fort apprécié le fait d'avoir deux couettes sur le lit deux places ! De pouvoir choisir les oreillers aussi (il y avait deux mémoires de forme sur le lit, mais d'autres oreillers de divers rembourrages étaient disponibles dans le placard). Le SPA était vraiment bien, nous avons particulièrement aimé le coin relaxation et le jacuzzi. Les peignoirs et chaussons fournis pour y aller étaient très biens (et de la bonne taille, bien que monsieur soit très grand). Le petit déjeuner était très bon, avec pile ce qu'il faut de choix intéressant. Mention spéciale à toutes les confitures ! La totalité du staff avec qui nous avons interagit (accueil, nettoyage, salle du petit déjeuner, coin snacking/billard, etc) était absolument adorable et serviable! Un accueil impeccable de bout en bout du séjour. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel.

Il faisait vraiment très chaud dans les chambres, nous avons dû dormir la fenêtre ouverte. Mais je pense que l'hôtel n'est pas adapté à des températures de journée élevées... La chaleur n'était cependant plus un souci avec la porte fenêtre entrouverte. Le matelas n'était pas vraiment des plus confortables.

The staff is very friendly and helpful with lunch and dining reservations, bus, ski rental, everything. The room was quiet, pleasant, and had a big sliding glass door with a view. We had 3 people in a room with a loft, and the loft actually had a 1/2 bath, which meant the main bath was not so crowded. Great ski room and lockers, spa, great breakfast in pleasant room, nice bar area, etc. Easy walk to lifts and ski shops at Les Grandes Montes.

Super cosy hotel in a fantastic location, really near the major bus routes to get into Chamonix and to the ski areas. Essentially ski in/ski out to Les Grands Montets slopes. Spa exceeded expectations, really lovely space and very quiet - we were often the only ones in there and the outside hot tub is fantastic. View from the balcony was unbelievable and there looked to be ample parking.

Room was a little dated, particularly the carpet. Pillows were extremely hard (I think maybe memory foam?) and the shower water pressure wasn't good. Also the hair dryer is a small wall fixed unit which is no good for long hair! TV was small, very high up and only had a few english channels. Breakfast seemed very expensive so we went out to eat at a cafe every day instead.

L'établissement est chaleureux, en bois, poutres apparentes, on a la sensation d'être dans un chalet familial. L'établissement dispose d'un lobbing avec une grande cheminée où il est possible de boire un verre, faire une partie de billard. Le centre de remise en forme est super, la piscine grande et lumineuse. Après une journée au ski l'hiver ou de rando l'été c'est très appréciable. Le petit déjeuner est complet et varié, tout est pensé pour les sportifs !! Les chambres sont joliment décorées dans un esprit montagnard/chalet, la sdb dispose d'une baignoire.

Les radiateurs dans la chambre et la salle de bain ! Ils sont un peu anciens et mériteraient d'être changés pour des systèmes de chauffage plus récents et moins bruyants.

Cozy hotel with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was absolutely amazing - always friendly, helpful and ready to assist with anything we needed. Our duplex room was spacious and well equipped, providing everything for comfortable stay.

we had a great stay the hotel room was clean and comfortable. The spa was exceptional. The staff was very helpful by sorting us out airport transfers and skiing lessons. our ski instructor was one of the best we have had .

Les - : spa ouvert à des horaires très restreints (16-21h) possible de demander un accès en dehors de ces horaires - cela reste cependant bien plus restrictif que dans la plupart des établissements et de ce fait il y’a plus de monde en même temps au spa - salle de bain un peu petite surtout pour une chambre classifiée de « supérieure »
