Tharapark View Hotel

The air-conditioning had a little issues, but other than that, the hotel was fine

Nice place, well kept and a good bang for your buck.

Really clean spacious room, with air con and a balcony, really well priced, with either a 20min walk or 40bht grab to the town that has a great street food market, nice bars and also longboats to reilay beech. If i come back to Krabi i would definitely stay hear again.

Just stayed for one night while passing through but it was lovely! Clean and quiet and a great spot close enough to the pier to grab a quick ride for less than $6 CAD

Hotel was good but the staff, especially the guy at reception who checked me in did not speak any English at all, which made important communication very difficult and frustrating…

Great room, clean and with hot water and a/c. They have a few snacks downstairs. Restaurant next door or 20min walk from downtown. Next to a very nice park. Women alone walking is safe (its next to a big police station).

Internet did not work for 12 hours. Staff not specking English at check in. Was only for 1night sleep . I would not stay longer . Tv not much to watching. Forget any English tv . Clean rooms however .

The hotel is clean; the personnel is nice and welcoming. However, there is a lot of noise, all night long (cars, trucks, roosters and other birds singing, monks launching the payers with microphone, concerts in the surroundings...). It’s ok for one night but I would not recommend it for a longer stay.

I appreciated my stay here! This is a basic establishment. That said, you'll sleep comfortably and be taken care of by the attentive and respectful staff. A great deal for the price per night!

Muito bom pelo preço pago. Perto do pier e vende os transfers

I was really excited about this place! Sadly though it's not anything like I expected. I expected that it would be near the ocean, not even close. It's near a small store that I got dinner at but it's not near much else. No pool. The AC was weak and the room barely cooled after having the AC on all night. I wouldn't stay here again. It's about 400 Bth to get to the beach and Grab takes a while to get to you because of how far out of the city it is.

Nice people，little bit far from night market but still able to walk there

We really liked this hotel, it was a 15 min walk from the city center, found easily the night market and restaurants along the way. Hotel is clean, the staff is nice. We even had the toilet paper end fold like a fan :). The hotel is 25km away from the beach, way too far. However, you can use a cab for around 400bht one way (4£) or rent a scooter. If you want to stay on the mainland and see the national parks and the city is perfect, but for the beach day is far. The hotel doesn't have a swimming pool (what would 'helped' us on our 3days stay) as the beach wasn't close by.

Everything lovely!

This is old guesthouse mean for Thai's not farangs. The manager was rude and seemed that was the message.. It was very noisy with Thais staying up all night they also allow smoking in the rooms. Smoke comes in from under the walls and bellow etc. I hated that. The rooms are small but kind of cool art deco. The air con was old and noisy too. Keep in mind this place is far away from town. The rooms close to the road are even more noisy with traffic.

The place was fine, generally. However, few good restaurant options, especially for breakfast. The local ATM charged ridiculous fees. It’s just located too far away from the city center and its conveniences. We like it quiet, but in this case there were consequences. Also, no hot water.

Choose this hotel as it is close to the pier and we arrived on a late flight. The room is very clean and staff is nice. The only disappointment was the extra bed we requested previously was not set up in the room before arrival. Breakfast was not available, but the front desk recommended some local stands right next to the hotel with fried chicken with rice, coconut pancakes and there is a family mart to get a coffee too. Overall a great option for a 1 night stay.

Excellent hotel for a 1 night stay. Good large rooms and friendly staff. Superb seafood restaurant next door.

Stayed for 1 night before the ferry journey to ko lanta. Good sized rooms, clean and tidy with excellent staff. Perfect if you need 1 night somewhere. Breakfast OK but it is only 100 baht. You also have the bonus of being next door to nong joke seafood restaurant.

Ola tudo bem? Estivemos hospedados do dia 21/2 ate 24/2.

Nice clean big room but location let this place down its a 20 minute walk to the town & in the heat that's not much fun! Lots of better located hotels in town, Krabi is not a party or loud town so it's best to stay in the Town near all the best restaurants & shops & facilities. See my other reviews for the best value clean hotels. Breakfast is a additional 200 baths per person. It's awful don't bother there's no options you just get the standard breakfast that they think all westerners want, my Vegetarian wife who also does not eat eggs could not eat anything so waste of money. Also we staid here because we thought it was nearer to the harbor/ferry but that is not important as all ferry trips to the islands pick u up from your hotel in a van, so stay in town for a better Krabi experience & if you wanna to eat freshly cooked Thai food eat from the street food vendors that are all together by the Khong Kha ferry pier.

We stayed here for a night. It's roughly 2.5km away from the night market, which is fine, we walked there and back. You can walk beside the road, its an easy path. As for morning, it took us less than half an hour to walk to the pier. Pretty straight forward as well. Overall a chill place!

Booked this hotel for 1 night as near the port. Haven of tranquillity. Good restaurant next door. Clean and staff friendly and helpful.

Except for the fact that the a/c units make too much noise on all other criteria I give this excellent value hotel 100%. Gleaming clean throughout, exceptional reception staff with a giving disposition.

The room was clean and simple, we had air conditioner, a mini fridge and an ok view from the city. The breakfast was small, it made my stomach funny - didnt enjoy at all. The location was good if youre just spending overnight, since we were going to Phi Phi, this hotel is very close to the main pier.

Good for short stop and sleep, clean. We got an extra bed for 250 and we slept 4 in room easy. Not recommended if you want to go to town or beach. The Nong joke restaurant that's 1 minute away is excellent (for adults..maybe feed up little kids with stuff from mini market across road).

We booked this hotel for one night only as we arrived late and we're leaving early the next day and it was perfect for a one night stay. The hotel is close to the pier, clean, spacious room with balcony all for great price! As it was low season the restaurant was closed completely and we walked down the street for food. Definately recommend this hotel for travellers passing through on the way to Koh Lanta or Koh Phi Phi! Wouldn't stay here for more than one night though, as there is no pool or other activities to do.

Stayed here for 10 days. Quiet area, a little bit off town but there are enough cabs. If you are not too lazy you can walk to city centre in half an hour. Hotel is clean, good beds. Breakfast is microwave American: bad. But after 10 you can have Thai breakfast next door: good restaurant.

Stayed for 1 night before heading to the airport, ladies at reception where really nice bookee our airport taxi helped with our bags, rooms are spacious and clean had a good sleep the area around the hotel is very peaceful short walk to restraunts

If you want to be in the middle od action, than go to Ao Nang or center of Krabi. This hotel is a bit out of town. I didn't mind the walking, but what I did mind is that they offer a transport although they are advertising it. The wi-fi was working (also in our room). You can’t choose your breakfast you get a mix of eggs, ham, sausage, marmalade, toast and banana, but you can make your coffee or tea. The service is very nice and their English is basic.

Good hotel, although a bit far from the center of Krabi

My second stay here....great value for price

Clean big room with basic facilities. we had traveled so many place among all 'Tharapark View Hotel' is one of the valuable hotel throw-ought the travel. We slept one night in this hotel, a bit out of downtown. But convenient as located near the port if you want to go to Koh Phiphi. clean room, spacious and comfortable bed Taxi available ... there to ask

Compare to the price, this hotel is great! Good cleaning, sweet service who booked taxi for us. The only bad thing is, that there isn't breakfast on the hotel, and you need to walk a while to find a restaurant. But lovely when you go along the water to Krabi Town.

Stayed here for 3 nights February 24th 2016, the rooms are big and clean. The bathroom is big the shower has good pressure and hot water. The bed is comfortable and a good size. The hotel is just a short 1.5 km walk from the city center. The staff are pleasant and very helpful. Would definitely stay here again if I'm back in Krabi town. The room also comes with a balcony and a decent view from the front door. The is a great place for coffee just a few steps away and a mini market that is open 24 hours.

Very nice hotel, great value for money. Clean, big rooms nice service they booked our ferry tickets out to koh lanta. Minus no elevator so if you stay on the top floor its heavy to walk up with the backpack. And is no breakfast buts its a restaurant next door and 7 eleven 30 m from hotel.

Booked this place as we arri

We stayed one night on our backpacking tour through thailand – and were surprised, how big an clean an nice the rooms were. It's a little walk to the center of Krabi, but that's nothing to bother. Would stay again.

I chose Tharapark for it's location, a short walk into Krabi town, and on route to all the beaches. I am lazy, and if it had, had a pool, i wouldn't get around as much as i have. The staff are both happy and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The Hotel is clean, and well set out, the rooms are of a very good size, and the air con works. The rooms are cleaned everyday, and new bottles of water provided. I can not find anything to complain about. I will have been here for 20 days, when i leave on the 16th of Feb. And the bed is very comfortable. Hiring a scooter, through reception, is both quick and cheap, for 19 days around £72.00 a bargain.

Relatively quiet Residential neighborhood, near park and restaurant where local people hang out. Convenience store across street. Go to the park parking lot in the evening and watch sepak takraw game. Great restaurant next to hotel. English is limited, but food and service great. Hotel staff very helpful. Rooms very nice and spacious for price. Good aircon. Limited English TV, but a couple of channels like all others in this price range. A little off the beaten path if you want in on the backpacker party action, but great if you want a little more taste of the local life and some quiet. Helps to have your own transportation or tolerance for long walk if you want to get to more variety.

The hotel is in a good position, ten minutes by walk from the city but is very quite, the rooms are large and the staff is very friendly we stay very good , the bed is very very big and confortable You can rent a motorbike and the pier for è the island is not very far I suggest you to stay here

Had a great stay

We stayed one night as we arrived at krabi airport very late at night and our plan was taking the ferry the next morning. The room was OK, but not more than that. Breakfast could be improved a lot. In general we can say, we won't stay there again.

ambiente relajado alejado de la ciudad

We only stayed here one night. Rooms offered enough space and were clean. Same for the bathroom. Staff was friendly. The hotel is about 15 minutes walking from the center of Krabi. A small supermarket is just across the street. Hotel was nothing special but absolutely ok and good value for money.

If you want to reach port in the morning to hop into one of the Thailand’s islands then the localization of this hotel is ok. Otherwise you should look for something closer to the city-center or in Ao nang. The rooms are fine however not same can be said about the service. Most of the employees speak very poor English or don’t speak it at all which is a surprise in a thai hotel. Additionally if you are traveling with small children take into account that there is no lift in the facility and opt for staying in one of the lower floors.

I have to say that for that price it was the best hotel we've ever stayed. Very clean, quiet, with all facilities. Not very close to the center but walking few minutes was always nice. Very close to passenger port to get to PhiPhi Island or Koh Lanta (walking distance). Staff very helpful, with not the best english but communicative.

Simple but clean, really affordable. Good value for price.

Clean and cheap. A bit far from town.

Good, clean budget hotel if you are looking for just parking the luggage and sleeping..

Great price, but staff do not speak or understand English. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere. We arrived and were so disappointed we decided to move to Ao nang. They charged us the full price for the room all the same. We ended up in Deevan plaza. 4x the price but so worth it.

Nice quiet hotel. A bit far from town centre but otherwise a nice place.
