ARK Hotel - Dongmen

It is in a good location. 7/11 around the corner. The staff were friendly and checkin was very easy. A lot of good food options in the area.

The internet was horrible. It was slow and unstable. The receptionists did try give us a new WiFi connection to use but it was the same. We tried disconnecting and reconnecting the router but it still didn’t work. There was a musky smell in the room. You cannot look out the window as it is frosted glass.

The hotel's location is excellent.

The room that we (2 of us) booked is the superior triple room - which was represented as a room suitable for accommodating 3 persons: (1) A work desk is provided, but it is not practically functional, as the available space is so limited that none of us (my roommate weighing 46kg and I weighing 52kg) could even squeeze in to sit on the chair. (2) A fridge is provided, but its placement is impractical because the fridge door cannot be fully opened. The fridge door hits the bed when opened to approximately 60 degrees. In addition, due to the adjacent wall, we are forced to place fruits into or retrieve items from the fridge from the top, which forces us in an awkward and uncomfortable posture, making it inconvenient to use the fridge properly. (3) Insufficient facilities for hanging clothes - We understand and are comfortable with the fact that there is no wardrobe. However, the hooks and clothes stand provided are clearly insufficient even for 2 persons, let alone three. (2) Limited space for the luggage stand - Although a luggage stand is provided, the only feasible space to place it—without obstructing movement around the room or affecting access to and from the beds— is the area below the clothes hooks. As a result, we had to choose between using that space for hanging clothes or placing our luggage. This arrangement is clearly impractical. (3) Insufficient bedside table space - There is only one bedside table in the room, which is clearly inadequate even for 2 persons, let alone three. Furthermore, the limited surface of the table is already occupied by a telephone and a tissue box, leaving very little usable space for our personal belongings. (4) Extremely Narrow Gap Beside the Double Bed - The gap between the double bed and the window/wall is extremely narrow. When getting out of bed from this side, I had to be extremely careful to avoid hitting myself against the window or wall.

一邊隔壁房客講電話超級大聲，隔音不好講什麼都聽得到。另一邊外國人房客超沒水準從半夜11.12點吵鬧嘻笑到清晨5.6點，整晚無法入睡，櫃檯第二也只能跟我們說他們規勸多次，如果只能自認倒楣，怕吵的旅客請三思 這不是我第一次入住這家旅店，旅館的情況退步很多

位置很好 離大安森林公園站 東門站都近 附近吃東西選擇很多 可以洗衣服等等 飯店針對外國旅客有很多貼在飯店裡面櫃台的一日遊包車行程 非常好的服務 可以方便沒有車 但是想去東北角 或是比較郊區的旅客 其實這應該也都可以入住前提供給旅客參考 方便行程規劃

It’s a very simple hotel, but the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean.

The rooms were a bit old and the wallpaper was chirping slightly.

地點便利，有個小陽臺，附近就是永康街，逛街吃飯很便利

除濕機聲音大影響睡眠，電梯只到四樓，去五樓沒電梯，提行李走小樓梯要小心

the rooms are very outdated, and there was definitely mold in the shower, wall paper is peeling off in parts of the room and bathroom. overall for a 2 night stay it was decent and price was good not the quietest hotel

Air-conditioning was great. That and having a water refill station in the lobby was convenient. Located in good area.

Was dirty. Expensive for what you pay. Room was very small. If people in the rooms next to you are noisy you will hear a lot because the soundproofing is not great.

5/1住107房 還真不安靜…隔音差 有抽馬達聲音.. 建議老闆可以親自住ㄧ晚 好好體驗一下， 旅店區域佳 住起來不符合可以好好休息😴的空間.. 推推老闆 親自體驗就會知道我再說什麼了。

Great location; handy for the metro, shops, cafés, a street market and a beautiful park. All the staff were lovely, friendly and helpful, really going out of their way to help us. The cosy reception area has coffee, snacks and a luggage weighing scale - the latter proved to be very accurate when we checked in at the airport a little later. We loved this place, feeling very at home here. A big thank you to the staff.

The triple room we were given was a little on the snug side even for the two of us.

Convenient location, convenient street level entrance, no stairs, lobby small but cozy. Bathroom seemed pretty clean.

I stayed in two different rooms and this was the first one. Gut-wrenching smell in the bathroom (from the sewer?) and constant droning noise of some equipment possibly from the yard outside.

I really Loved the Location, close to what would be the Best Parc in Taiwan for me ! Actually very Close to 2 different Train Stations as well. . The Guy at the Reception was really Friendly and tried his Best to Communicate, 谢谢你 ! The Room was Perfect for me (especially after a not so good experience). Big Bed, Nice Separated Shower with a Movable Head, Nice Sink. The Room is Dark enough so you can still have a Good Sleep even after Sunrise. They even have a pretty Big Closet if you need. They also have Nice Shalongba right next to the Hotel and a lot of different Options.

I would just say the Bed was really too Soft for me but that's Personal Preference. And maybe the Way they Make the Payment that, I believe is Automatic and a little Complicated. In my Case, the Payment was (surprisingly) already Made before I arrive so I had to Double Check with them that they don't take my Money twice.

床鋪打掃有頭髮，我想可能是疏忽，白天櫃檯人員比較嚴肅沒有笑容，建議服務業還是不要太嚴肅，這樣旅客不敢去~
