When I arrived, they were sold out and I haven't gotten a refund.
A really bad costumer services, I don’t know where are the owners of this place but they need to change the manager right away
no hot water, no internet, no manager on site, management annoyed and not helpful, clothes left in room from previous guest, bathroom door broken and would not close, shower head did not work, left after 1 day
Beach view, sea sound. Very romantic

The location was in the right area. Right in front of the beach and also dining options. Simple, quiet, and exactly what I needed.
We did our reservations through Expedia and after a long drive to get to the property we were received by a nice man. We explained to him that we had 4 different reservations for one night. He proceeded to make a call to the lady in charge and passed her on to speak to my sister in law after he said we had made reservations online. When my sister in law started to speak to the lady she became very aggressive. The lady was very rude saying that we did not have reservations and that she had nothing else to discuss with her and I believe she hung the phone up on my sister in law. The man called her back and sent her a picture of our reservations and she then changed her attitude. I am not sure what bad day she was having but that is not the way you treat paying customers especially that we had already paid Expedia. Not the right person have running that property.
If it wasn’t for the location this property would not be worth it. However it is right on the strip surrounded by by beautiful beaches and walking distance restaurants and shops. The rooms/ villas are not equipped with air conditioning! Making it really hard to sleep at night. They’re many noisy ceiling fans instead ! This hotel is screaming for an update the beds are very hard and old. Because we are traveling during this pandemic the free breakfast was not provided. They receiving manager at check in took our temperature and gave us sanitizer but your pretty much on your own. My family and I
Prior to the trip I sent emails about our villa and booking a taxi from the airport to which I did not receive a response. Upon our arrival we did not have a villa on the property. We were walked over to Villas Al Mar Residencias, a different property on the next block without a pool and no view of the ocean. The villa was older, smaller without many of the amenities we would get at the location we booked. Without an explanation we were told we may get a villa on the property we booked within 3 days. Due to an early departure or cancellation, we were given a place after one day. Once we settled, it was evident that staff were under a lot of stress. This was not their fault. We were all dealing with deciding to stay or leave and the staff were being asked to wear masks etc. We were very thankful for assistance as they closed down the breakfast and delivered us a continental plate to our patio. Breakfast, cleaning and gardening staff work incredibly hard and are incredibly helpful and friendly!!! My respect for the hard work they put in every day!
it s a nice small hotel, with bangalos across the street from the beach, clean pool, clean hotel, but for info no bar or small restaurant if you want to have a drink at the and of the day.
Loved the rustic but functional design of the villa. Everything worked and the family had a good time.
Frühstück war sehr gut / Empfang könnte freundlicher ablaufen
Wonderful town full of unique and quaint restaurants!
Natürlich in Bar.
Quiet location just outside center. Takes 5' walk.
What a wonderful location. Across the street from the Atlantic Ocean you can hear and watch the waves as you sit to have breakfast on the second floor deck of the reception area. The grounds are very clean and the service personnel were very nice. A nice walk down this ship will take you to other restaurants, bars, and all the local vendors while enjoying the oceanfront. I can't wait to go back.
La struttura è veramente bella e caratteristica tipica domenicana. Davvero accogliente.
Our stay was great. We started out a little bit rough at check-in because they were'nt clear about the quantity of rooms booked or the type of room but at the end, after much talk, it all ended up ok. We were a party of four who booked two pool view rooms. They placed us in two rooms looking at the back of a villa. We complaint and showed the reservation details to the lady at the front desk (office) who happened to be the General Manager. At the begining, she blame it on the site we used to book (hotels.com) saying that they used the wrong description and pictures of the rooms. At the end, and after a long talk, they moved us to a two room, two story villa. In general our experience was good. The breakfast had a wide variety of food and beverages, the service from the staff was great. The beds were very comfortable and clean, the pool was really nice, the villa was recently painted, it had everything you need in a kitchen. The bedrooms had AC and a ceiling fan. The hotel is located across the street from the beach, close to nice little restaurants and bars, everithing within walking distance. All in all, this hotel was a very good choice.
Nice hotel in a tranquilo town. Good staff, beautiful house and clean.
When we booked it, it said a room with a kitchen, we had a small room with a bed and small refrigerator, very small, could just about walk around the bed!
So very happy to have found this little place! It is NOT an "all inclusive" luxury north-american resort but rather a clean, friendly, comfortable Dominican accomodation. It has a nice swimming pool, a/c, fan, refrigerator, TV, wi/fi, etc. It is quiet during weekdays, a bit busy during weekends but always peacefull at night granting a good sleep. In this Island accomodation varies from the very expensive private village eg. Seahorse Ranch to the rather unbelievable "dens of iniquity". Las Palmas al Mar" is an island within the Island! Close to town, but not too close, directly accross from the beach and walking distance to several nice restaurants ( La Dolce Vita, Le tre Cravelle, etc) makes it an ideal place to visit other locations. The best of it all is Josefina and her staff! They cater to please and make you happy! I strongly reccomend this place which, in many ways, helped in making our holiday a true and very pleasant "Dominican" experience
gute Möglichkeiten in der Nähe zum Essen
Résidence de 12 maisons comportant chacune 2 chambres, 2 SDB, 1 cuisine , terrasse couverte de grande surface.
Friendly staff, beautiful area, nice places. My wife and I loved it
The Hotel was great. Mr. Melendez is a very nice person.
This is the perfect place if you want to escape the resort life. No lines, no noise, no chaos and no time table agenda like a resort keeps. This is paradise. Staff was great. Villas were spacious and clean. Villa is equiped with a full kitchen if you like to cook fresh seafood that you can buy right on the beach less than a 5 minute car ride. Breakfast was delicious. The pool was clean and inviting. The villas have an outdoor patio section which goes around the villa set up with rocking chairs.. Perfect place to end the night after spending the day in the beautifu beach just across the street. Quite and secure. Took my son on his first trip to DR to meet his relatives and chosing this place to end our vacation was heaven.
We booked this hotel as we were coming into town. It is a cute hotel right on the ocean. It has kitchen so you can grab some necessities and make your own. This is a great place for families. Clean, safe and friendly!
ME MANDARON A OTRO HOTEL SIN AVISARME
We stayed for a week and loved the little town of Las Terrenas. There are a lot of French ex-pats living there, and they bring with them better cuisine and shopping than you get elsewhere in the DR, as well as a pleasant sense of community. The hotel itself is set back from the road, with semi-detached two-storey suites in a U around a small pool. It felt like a private enclave, although behind the hotel was a lane with a fair bit of motorcycle traffic early in the morning. Staff was friendly and helpful, although I was very glad I had some Spanish. The breakfast was generous and delicious. I would definitely go back.
Adorei o hotel.
I had such a wonderful experience with this hotel. I did not realize that I had booked an entire apartment. I thought it was a single bedroom, but it turned out to be a two-floor apartment with two large bedrooms, very beautifully decorated. Upon arrival, there was a swan made from two towels laid on the bed, adorned with large magenta flowers, freshly plucked. The bathroom was similarly adorned with flowers tucked into neatly folded towels. My boyfriend and I were very comfortable there. Wi-fi and breakfast were included. The beach is located conveniently right across the street and the surrounding restaurants, mostly Italian, were delicious. I recommend Kalista Restaurant located in Apart-Hotel Aligio. Furthermore, there is just so much to do in Las Terrenas. There are a ton of gorgeous, absolutely pristine beaches so sparsely inhabited that you feel as though it were for your sole viewing and amusement. Driving down to Samaná takes about 40 minutes, and there are just so many excursions, well-priced with buena gente all around. Perhaps my favorite part of this hotel, however, are the people. Josefina and Alba were more than kind, their smiles never out of stock. I will never forget their affections and attentiveness. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.
this was a great hotel. Right across from the beach and walking distance to some great beach side restaurants. the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious.
Great hotel. The cabins are very big and well equiped. We booked a room for a couple and got a cabin for 4 with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a kitchen. Every cabin has a very big terrace with a nice sitting area and a dining table. Very clean. Amazing staff, very helpful and nice. Very nice breakfast with fresh juice, eggs, pancakes... The beach is 10 seconds away, just cross the road, and if you go east for 5 min it gets even more beautiful. Just remember to spray yourself, tons of mosquitos in the entire area.
after the reservation was paid for online when we get to the hotel then we had to pay lots of extra fees that we were not aware of when we made the reservation, for the final price of these hotel we could have gone to an all inclusive hotel in a better area.
Great hotel for the money. Wonderful experience. Easily accessible. We live in the DR and would recommend this hotel.
Personale disponibile e sempre sorridente.
Really nice place. Super clean. I fall in love with all the staff :)
What a lovely quaint hotel in the perfect location !!!
Hotel is clean and a good place for relaxing with the beach just across the street. Breakfast, they only bring eggs, toast and a small drink to your spot. After that, you have to go out for breakfast. I give it 2 thumbs up.
-Our stay was 2-7 Oct. (We had no problem moving the dates down from 1-6 Oct.) Gardens were lovely, pool great, condo(2bed/2bth) was older but very clean, with kitchen, cold AC, full-size fridge. Excellent off-season price, right across from the beach, walking distance to town. -All personnel were friendly and accommodating, especially Louis & Kathy who spoke English. Even non-English speakers made extra efforts to understand our requests (extra coffee, change of towels). -Breakfast was included every day(fresh cut fruit, fresh juice, coffee, toast & jam) and was delivered to the units. We usually ate on the veranda. The advertised crossants only appeared once, the usual was toast. -The downstairs toilet seat had a crack which I was careful of, and it lasted till the day we left. The king bed had a very firm mattress. I preferred the living room couch was just perfect! -It was easy living there, a happy experience, I would book there again, and I would recommend it to others.
I love everything about it. I will definitely go back.
The pool is alway warm, right in front of the beach.
The hotel is just OK, the cabanas are nice but need mayor renovations of about almost everything, a lot of problem with sugar ants, they are every where and I mean every where, including in the sugar of course, mayor problem with that, about the breakfast, what can I say, the only good thing was the juice, very good and also the coffee was good. The staff were very nice, no complain about that. Beautiful and relaxing place but need some work.
