un pò rumoroso. non tanto il pub sotto (avevo letto le recensioni ed ero preparato) ma ci doveva essere un motore forse un frigo forse un condizionatore che ha vibrato tutta la notte.

The staff in the venue were good and friendly.

On returning to the venue after going out for the evening the head doorman was completely out of order and attempted to ruin our stay in London by being aggressive and threatening and would not let us in to finish the night off. I reported him when we checked out so hopefully this has been sorted.

The room was clean, the bed linen was clean, and the hostel is in a very convenient location, close to the Tube station. The toilet and shower facilities were also clean

One thing I would warn future guests about is the size of the shower cubicle. It is extremely small. If you are slim or average-sized you may manage, but I think a larger person could find it very difficult, if not impossible, to shower comfortably. Unfortunately, the hostel is also extremely noisy. My room was directly above the pub and I couldn't sleep at all because of the noise. The most disappointing part of my stay, however, was the handling of my request for a lower bunk. I requested a lower bunk when I originally made my booking because, due to health and back problems, I often need to use the toilet during the night and climbing up and down from an upper bunk is difficult for me. When I arrived, I was allocated an upper bunk. The lady at reception apologised and explained that the beds had been allocated by the system. I completely understand that requests are subject to availability and cannot always be guaranteed. However, when a guest has made a request for health-related reasons, I would hope that some consideration could be given to this when allocating beds, or at least that the guest could be informed in advance if the request cannot be accommodated. I found climbing into the upper bunk very stressful and difficult. In fact, I only climbed up once and then tried to avoid going to the toilet throughout the night because I was so worried about having to climb down and back up again. The hostel was clean and well located, which I appreciated, but I was disappointed by the lack of consideration given to my request. A little more empathy and flexibility in situations involving a guest's health or mobility would make a significant difference.

Location was good

Staff was really rude, from the time we drop off our bags, at the check-in and even after, and that was 3 different stuff members, none of them had an ounce of politeness. Room was really dusty. Place is really noisy (but we were aware of it before to arrive.) Don’t expect to sleep before 3am.

Super emplacement, proche du métro et de pleins de monuments ! Le petit déjeuner est super et varié très bon rapport qualité prix et bien que le lieu soit bruyant possibilité d’avoir des bouchons oreilles ! Je recommande

Location and breakfast.

The hostel's location is fantastic, near both the train and subway stations. However, the hostel is also a pub, so it gets very noisy at night with people talking. To make matters worse, the fan wasn't spinning, so nobody got a breeze on a very hot day that reached 35 degrees.

Acabei fechando sem ver muitos comentários e o quanto era barulhento. Cheguei no dia do jogo da copa do mundo e foi quase impossível conseguir chegar e entrar no hostel de tao cheia que estava a rua. Para quem dorme bem no barulho, nao tera muitos problemas.

The location was def at an excellent location, so close by to all the spots and you can best travel London on e-bikes, which is right around the corner from the hostel.

It was a bit loud in the room due to the room being right above the pub! and there are only 3 washrooms for the entire floor so I had to wait for a long period of time. I also think the place needs to invest of hiring more staff, poor staff was trying to manage the pub and reception work at the same time, which caused a delay in my check-in

Es war eher dreckig im Zimmer. Flecken auf Laken und Bettdecke. Die Duschen und Toiletten waren auch nicht so sauber. Außerdem war es bis 01 Uhr nachts sehr Laut da die Fenster sehr dünn und sehr schlecht gedämmt sind und direkt vor dem Fenster der Pub seinen Außenbereich hat. Man kann es auch nicht komplett dunkel machen im Zimmer da immer eine helle grüne Lampe leuchtet als Notbeleuchtung! Wir haben versucht diese zu bedecken, aber es hat nur halb funktioniert. Dies ist wirklich ein no-Go!!

The overall environment was excellent.

Nothing for now. But one suggestion......It could be fine if a small microwave and/or small refrigerator is around the corner for guests.

O quanto não tem ar condicionado e eram 4 camas para 2 ventiladores sendo que um deles não dava para regular e a janela não abre mais que 4cm. Não há espaço para você ficar sentado para comer ou só por ficar, somente o quarto e um bar que fica até a madrugada funcionando. Casa de banho fica completamente molhada quando se toma banho.

Been coming here for years. Prices are good, provisions are simple but effective.

The heat - outwith the control of the hostel. I wish the pub bit was quieter too but that's not a major issue, more personal preference.

La ubicación es buena, pero poco más puedo destacar. Nos alojamos en una habitación para cuatro personas que era extremadamente pequeña, hasta el punto de parecer una celda. Apenas había espacio para moverse o abrir las maletas. Las literas no tienen cortinas para ofrecer un mínimo de privacidad ni una repisa donde dejar el móvil, una botella de agua o cualquier objeto personal. El colchón era muy fino e incómodo; se notaba la estructura de la cama y se clavaba en la cadera al dormir. Además, el edredón tenía manchas y no daba sensación de estar limpio. El calor dentro de la habitación era insoportable. La ventana solo se abría unos 10 cm, prácticamente no había ventilación y los ventiladores eran muy pequeños y estaban llenos de polvo. Preguntamos en recepción y nos dijeron que no tenían suficientes ventiladores para todas las habitaciones, a pesar de que la ola de calor llevaba semanas. La limpieza era mejorable y tanto las habitaciones como los pasillos olían a humedad. Solo había cuatro baños muy pequeños para todos los huéspedes de la planta y, durante nuestra estancia, tampoco había agua caliente en las duchas. Otro detalle muy incómodo es que el espacio para guardar el equipaje está debajo de la litera inferior. Si la persona de abajo está durmiendo, no puedes abrir el compartimento sin despertarla. Además, las habitaciones dan a un patio donde la gente permanece hablando y bebiendo hasta las dos o tres de la madrugada, por lo que descansar resulta muy difícil. Cada vez que acudimos a recepción para comentar alguno de estos problemas, la respuesta fue justificar la situación en lugar de ofrecer una solución o una alternativa. No volvería a alojarme aquí. Hay aspectos básicos como la limpieza, el descanso y el mantenimiento que deberían mejorar considerablemente.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut und reichlich. Die Lage war super, sehr gut mit Bus und U-Bahn zu erreichen. Es gab Tagsüber Wasser und Kaffee zu trinken

Es gab keinen Aufenthaltsraum und im Gemeinschaftssaal gab es keine Stühle.

A localização é excelente, perto da estação London Bridge e de vários ônibus para o centro. A cama era confortável, com 2 travesseiros e cobertas limpos, e as camas tinham tomada, USB e luz individual. Os banheiros estavam limpos e havia água gelada para encher a garrafa. Apesar de ficar em cima de um pub e ter um barulho considerável, o hostel oferece protetores de ouvido e isso não foi um problema para mim. A equipe da recepção foi muito simpática e guardou minha mala após o checkout sem custo. Usei o hostel apenas para dormir e atendeu muito bem às minhas necessidades.

Noisy above a very load bar, everything is digital so the staff basically ignore you upon arrival and you have to faff around on an iPad and download an app which is the last thing you want to do when you’ve been travelling all day. The room was upon several flights of stairs and with a big suitcase in the heat that was pretty horrible. And it was exceptionally expensive for a private room consisting of a bunk bed and a shared bathroom down the hall, which was mixed! Pretty terrible facilities considering the price.

It’s not good place and there is no ventilation in room and whole night I’m not sleep just because of the room is suffocated and when i told the staff about this they say sorry we can’t do anything and even the room is too noisey till 4am.

Good location and cheap.

Bathroom A LOT smaller than expected, and a constant puddle on the floor in the way of the toilet from other guests using the shower. No hot water, just tepid from the tap. Staff wheeling bins around outside at 4:45am! Very unnecessary to make that kind of noise so early.

because it was so warm, we had to open windows since there was no aircon or fans. That brought in quite a lot of noise from the bar.

Staff were very very welcoming. They made me feel very comfortable and secure. My first time staying in a hostel. They were very helpful. I had my luggage miss handled so was coming next day, staff made sure everyone is informed that it was coming and they kept me informed.

I guess being a hostel you never know what kind of person you get, I got a taxi driver who was driving taxi during night and coming to sleep during day so I felt bad to do anything when he was sleeping during the day. Aircon was a must in that week but small fan was provided. But still value of money.

Its impossible to sleep… there is a bar downstairs and they play very loud music until 1am :( and it’s not only the noise, its all the room vibrating… that makes impossible to sleep

No air conditioning. Exceptional heat in rooms with fans of no use. Toilets were disgusting. Shower and sinks were filthy. Coffee machines were filthy.

If you're looking for a place with great location for an affordable price (zone 1 in subway area), this is the place!! Stayed in a room only for woman and the bed was super comfortable, maybe a bit to hot at night in summer time but the eletric fan helped a lot. They also have EU adaptor, so no need to bring your own (big plus)

At first, I was a bit scared from the reviews regarding the huge noise at night(they have a pub in the ground floor), but that quicky disappeared. Every night I was so tired from exploring the city that I would fall sleep with no problems.

The room had an unpleasant smell the entire stay and was very hot, unable to open the window enough to get any airflow for fresh air and to cool down. The bathroom facilities were in need of attention (broken latches and no soap in dispenser etc). Quite basic accommodation overall.

It has a good location and it’s good if you want some night life or live music also. It’s a good price and the staff was very nice and helpful. It also has individual bathrooms that were very clean.

There’s not much space to be at night if you just want to eat a meal or sit and read etc. The room was quite warm even with a fan.

Location obviously excellent. It was very clean and functional. Being connected to a pub with food is great. Bed was comfy, secure cage under bed very helpful. Shower had good pressure. Price obviously compelling.

It was noisy outside, good earplugs essential. It is bunk beds, which we're surprisingly good but does have its limitations.

Interesting neighborhood.

The showers and toilets are in the same room so there can’t be urgency for morning ablutions because people are showering and doing makeup. There are no bath mats so the bathroom floors get gross. The showers are so small you can’t rinse your feet because the water hits the wall before it gets to the knees. While I knew there was a pub downstairs I didn’t realize that there are tables outside directly below the windows. People are having a great with much enthusiastic shouting and the windows can’t be closed because there is no other ventilation or AC. If you’re a night owl you’d have fun joining the party. If you sleep before 2 am on a weeknight, you might struggle.

Very pleasant staff!!! Gracious…friendly…welcoming… Abundant choices for breakfast, well organized, clean breakfast area and comfortable seating… Plenty of space in guest rooms to accommodate travelers luggage and safe locker storage under beds.. I found all my interactions with the staff reassured me that I made the right choice in staying here while in Central London!!! Well Done!!
