Diese tolle Lage mit Blick auf Teile des Wasserfall. Besonders zu erwähnen das freundliche Personal, egal ob Anreise zu früh ( Glück gehabt kein Stau😌) oder Abreise zu früh zum Frühstück gekommen, beides komplett gute Lösung, danke dafür

Die Lage war perfekt, die Zimmer sehr schön, das Frühstück sehr gut und reichlich.

Die Anwesenheit/Erreichbarkeit des Personals vor Ort war etwas kompliziert u entsprach nicht ganz den angegebenen Zeiten auf der HP, wurde aber durch ausgesprochene Herzlichkeit wieder wett gemacht.

Geschmackvoll passend zur Epoche eingerichtet. Schöne Sanitäreinrichtungen. Gemütliches Bett in dem wir gut geschlafen haben. Wir haben zwar kein Personal angetroffen, konnten mit Frau Karin jedoch alles telefonisch klären klären, die Garage für die Fahrräder und haben präzise Tipps für unsere Reise bekommen.

Die Villa ist ein besonderes Einod in diesem sonst von riesigen Häusern dominiertem Ort. Sehr besonders die antiken Zimmer mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Man hatte alle Freiheit in diesem besonderem alten Gemäuer. Die Bedienung war außergewöhnlich nett und hilfsbereit.

Alles war top und außergewöhnlich.

Die Lage der Villa hat einen hohen Erholungswert . Das Personal ist kompetent und freundlich. Das Restaurant ist qualitativ hochwertig.

Es ist schade , das es am Montag kein Frühstück im Hause möglich ist.

Nema recepcionar, zatvoreno, nismo očekivali takav doček bez obavijest da je taj dan zatvoreno i nikoga nema u hotelu, to je katastrofa. jedva smo imali kontakt za hotela nakon 2 sata čekanja.

Es war bezaubernd. Sehr zu empfehlen auch das Restaurant und die Möglichkeit auf der Terrasse zu essen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Die Küche ist sehr gut und es gibt sehr gute Weine.

Hele mooie en grote kamer. Zeer schoon. De villa zelf is ook prachtig en fijn dat er een woonkamer is die je kan gebruiken en waarvan je prachtig uitzicht hebt over het dal. Locatie is zeer goed: vlak bij de waterval en verschillende restaurants. Bushalte op loopafstand. Tip: met de Mobility Tickets die je ontvangt kan je gratis gebruik maken van het openbaar vervoer. Zo ben je eenvoudig (en dus gratis) in Bad Hofgastein (voor de kabellift of zwembad) of Ski Gastein (om te wandelen). Fijn dat deze kaarten al vooraf naar ons gestuurd werden.

Mycket mysigt hus i gammal stil, läget perfekt för att uppleva stan.

Es war alles perfekt, ein Märchenschloß! Wir wären gerne noch länger geblieben, mussten aber weiter.

Sehr außergewöhnliche Unterkunft, nächtigen wie zu Kaisers Zeiten, liebevoll bis ins Detail wurde das historische Ambiente erhalten. Traumhafter Ausblick von der Terrasse, der schönsten in ganz Bad Gastein. Unbedingt zu empfehlen!!! Wir haben es sehr genossen und werden noch lange von diesem entzückenden, kleinen, aber feinen Hotel erzählen.

Für uns war alles perfekt!

Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Ein sehr edel eingerichteter Raum. Die Kellnerin sehr freundlich.

Da ich als Frau als einzige Person in dieser Villa die Nacht verbracht habe u ich die Eingangstüre mit meinem Zimmerschlüssel nicht abschließen konnte, war das schon ein wenig "spuky" für mich. Leider war auch bei meiner Ankunft niemand persönlich vor Ort. Ich habe nur mit einer Angestellten des Hotels telefoniert. So fühlt man sich nicht willkommen in einer privat geführten Villa.

Our stay at this guesthouse was absolutely delightful in every way! The rooms were beautiful and spacious, and the views were stunning. The service was very friendly and welcoming. The food at the restaurant was excellent, and the breakfast was absolutely wonderful. The atmosphere was perfect!

Our room was huge and very charming. The beds were comfortable and the location was great.

There was no reception or option to check in until 5pm so we we weren't even sure where we could leave our suitcases until that time.

Es war nachts kalt, die Heizung schaltet sich automatisch runter. Bei Minustemperaturen etwas zu kühl

No WiFi in the room. Breakfast didn’t start until 08:00. Then impossible to be at the slope when the lifts opens.

Die Lage ist genial! Auch dass man eigentlich in einem Museum wohnt ist außergewöhnlich. Das Personal ist sehr kompetent, freundlich und unkompliziert. Es lohnt sich auch dort zu essen! Sehr gute Küche

Great location overlooking the valley. Staff very helpful with questions about where to catch a bus and even phoned the bus company to confirm location. Good breakfast with vegan and gluten free options.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere, decoration and how helpful the staff was! I felt like was in a movie while staying, truly magical!

This is more a critique for booking rather the property: The way booking shows your reservation is misleading on what room you are actually going to stay in, since the room we stayed didn’t matched the photos booking showed! We wanted a room with bathtub (which was included following the pictures and info of our reservation) and the one given to us initially didn’t had it. However the staff quickly changed our room after we spoke with them! So if I was visiting again and wanted a specific room I would call Villa Solitude to request it!

This hotel is beautiful ! Nicely maintained. The room I had was large, clean, very nice bed, sitting area, and the decorating… gorgeous! I had many big windows to open for fresh mountain air and also window boxes with flowers. The bathroom was perfect.. nice tub/ shower with great water pressure. It was 7 minute walk to bus stop, and very close to train station too. The waterfall is basically right below the hotel. They have a beautiful restaurant with an outside deck/patio with scenic views and you can listen to the waterfall. There is a sitting/reading room in the hotel that is large and beautiful. Staff was very kind.

The only issue I had was the electrical outlets. There were many of them but all didnt seem to work well. I thought it was my chords, but it was the outlets. It worked just fine in the bathroom. This does not change my review of the hotel though.

Breakfast at Villa Solitude cost more than the actual accommodation stay !! It was a complete rip-off the prices they were charging.

The villa is nestled in the heart of Bad Gastein, with incredible views of the valley and mountains. The restaurant served great dinners (particularly the New Year's Eve dinner), whilst the breakfast was good. The room was decorated with beautiful wooden panels and the decor was of a classical style. The room felt well looked after, even with scratches in the wooden panels. The staff were always pleasant and incredibly helpful - even when we encountered language barriers! The room had its own lounge area, that was also comfortable.

The bed by far was the biggest let down of the accommodation. The room was advertised as having a "large double bed", but instead if was two single beds pushed together. The mattresses themselves were thin, spring mattresses on top of a simple wooden frame that creaked every time you moved. Several times we woke up with sore backs.

Beautifully located old style mansion, very comfortable

Very nice and cosy place. Quiet and saw now other guests other than the cars parked outside. Very large room(s), like a smaller apartment. Great view and the owner(?) welcomed us when we arrived. She also gave us good advices of what to do and where to go in the area.

The restaurant was closed, so there were no breakfast. Since we had breakfast included they had arraged so that we could eat at a café down the block. We got told that it should be like that only the first night (of two), but it was closed again the second day. So back to the café. The room was a bit cold at night/morning.
