Amazing service and cleanliness

It’s a small guest house by the small alley of which it’s not easy to find. The staff was very friendly. When we reach there the lift spoilt and the girl staff kept apologizing even offered to carry our 28” luggage up the stairs to the 3rd floor. The place is very near the night market just a street at the back of the guest house.

The apartment is very near to Fengjia night market. However, finding the apartment can be quite a challenge if you have problem navigating the many streets and lanes in Taiwan. Luckily the host dropped me a message with detailed directions to their accommodation. Room is less spacious but comfortable. Somehow on the first night I got bitten by a bed bug which affected my rest of the trip in Taiwan. Do check the bed before going to sleep.

The place did not have signage at the front..it's just an apartment building and no lobby. The staff was nice. The room smelled like smoke. Basic amenities but no housekeeping was done. I would not stay again and it was located within an alleyway..probably not suitable for female travellers.

Had problem finding the hotel from the bus stop. Confusing streets and alleys. Map provided is not useful. With instruction from the hotel staff, still have problem finding the bus stop that can travel back to taichung train station. Had to take a cab in the end

Very near night market with lots of good food and shopping

close to FengJia night market, quiet surrounding can sleep well. budget stay equip with standard facility (water refill machine, map, hot water, a lot of TV programme) will stay again next time.

The strategic location at Peng Chia night market made it a great choice to stay. Fret not, the noise of exodus of crowd at Peng Chia market won't reach the hotel. Room is clean, nice and beautifully decorated. The staff is dedicated and I received the information how to reach the hotel within a day after booking

I stayed 2 days at Grano house. Overall it was a good place to stay at, considering the price and location(near fengjia market,carrefour and chao ma bus station). Staff were helpful too. The only shortfall is they did not clean up the room for my 2nd day stay there.

The room is clean but small. We have no place to walk after open up 2 luggage. Anyway, the location is good as it is very near to Feng Chia night market.

Overall is very good, cosy, nice location and if there are some signboards from the outside of the hotel would be very nice. One bad thing when arrived at ChaoMa station from Taipei is the taxi driver based over there does not wanna take us to the hotel.

The staff was very helpful to send us information before the trip and there is easy communication with them through Line. The location is very near to the Fengjia Night Market and as long as you know the directions well, the location is quite easy to find.

We traveled as a family of 2 adults with 3 children round island in December. The location of the hotel is quite difficult to find especially the car park which is off site. It is very near to Feng Jia night market which we rate to be the best after visit to 8 night markets. The staff are polite and the room is nicely decorated and clean. It is definitely value for money.

Very near to feng jia night market

Stayed one night at Grano House and we were very happy with our room, the overall environment, very bubbly and cheerful. Owner put in a lot of effort in decorating the rooms. Only bad point is, it's located at a very deserted neighborhood, had to use google map to look for the place. Grano House is located at the very end of FengJia Night Market, from FengJia Night Market you have to walk for about 15-20mins.

The place is very good at blend in with other local living building, and the area is very quiet. The elevator inside the place made moving luggage easier. The location is within walking distant of FengCha Night Market.

Hotel staff are kind and friendly that they even present us pineapple cookies as gift for choosing to stay at Grano. The hotel is near to the night market that it just need 5mins walk. The hotel is kinda new that the facilities and condition is new and clean.

The hotel location is near to FengJia Night Market but it is a bit hard to locate it as it is hidden inside a lane without a notice board. I have to call the staff in order to get into the hotel. The room is big enough and clean. the bed is comfortable and free wifi is included as well. Friendly staff who come out to the hotel building and lead us to the hotel.

Had a good 5 night stay at Grano House with the family, though I wouldn't call it a hotel but more of a 'minsu' since it's more casual than with full hotel service. Shower gel, towels, coffee & tea bags and etc were provided, one would only require to fill up the flask for hot water on the 1st floor. Communication with the staff was great, they responded quickly to email and wechat queries on the room, slight toilet clogging issue and transportation. Only downside was the water heater, which somehow turn off its power after minutes of usage, not a good thing for us when the temperature was around 12-18 degrees (cold nights). As for the location, Grano House is 5 minutes walk from Fengjia Night Market (awesome street food and restaurants) and 3 minutes from the main road / 7-11 / 24HR laundry service shop. Good for those who'd want a fuss free and decent price stay.

No frills accommodation, next to feng chia night market, plenty of food options and full of life just round the corner! Water heater was intermittent though.. Not so good in winter. Room was small but just nice for a couple with 2 24 inch luggage.

It's my 2nd time staying here and as usual, clean room and friendly staff to help with the check in. However, there's a rooster nearby and early morning it started crowing and disturbed my sleep. It would have been perfect without the noise.

The location is very convenient, just next to Fengjia Night Market. The service is good, the personnel was waiting for us to check in at the door. Water dispenser was provided at the common area, with hot water. However, condition of the room is so-so and then aircon doesn't allow us to go any higher than 21 degree celcius even though it's so cold in winter.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay. It is located in an alley, with no signboard, hence, it was pretty difficult to locate it. The corridor was packed with cleaning equipment when we arrived, hence, it was not easy for us to move around. It is extremely close to the night market, thumbs up.

Near to Feng Jia market though it was difficult to locate when we came down from Taoyuan Airport.

Location is fantastic but other than that it's just average and somewhat costly for the price. Bathroom layout is really bad and not renovated, though the rooms have been refurbished to a decent level.

The room looks exactly like the photos shown in the website. Room size is abit small. The bed and room is clean. Location of Grano house is near Feng jia night market, around 6 minutes walk. It is located inside a small lane. Highly recommended for couple and solo traveler.

The room is simple but clean . Comfortable to stay. As for the location, abit hard to find due to no hotel sign board indicated , the building looks just an usual residential. However, the staff of hotel is helpful when we call them for location checking.

The location was superb. Very near the Fengchia nite market. There wasn't any service provided. It was just the room with the amenities provided for the length of the stay. The room was very small but overall the stay was comfortable. I would stay here again for the fantastic location.

Overall the room is good, they have a big room, and the staff are friendly and extremely helpful. They even help me to arrange for the cab for my whole trip, despite i only stay at Grano for one day. The only limitation is that their hot water supply in the bed room is not stable and the road back to the hotel is a little bit dark. Overall, the stay is satisfactor. :)

My whole family very enjoy the hotel as it is really near to the Feng Jia night market. The room design is very nice and feel very warm.

Within 3mins walk to Fengjia Night Market. Rooms are small but clean and cosy. You don't see the owners but it's pretty much a fuss-free stay. We like the conditioning shampoo provided. Considerations: Can be hard to find via main road, advisable to get the taxi driver to call the Owner for exact location. Advised to bring own towels as ours were stained. The duvet had a blood stain as well although the cover was clean.

The first impression was that the room is really too small for one couple. The table was too small to accommodate two person as there is only one chair which we have difficulty having our supper together. Hence, we was forced to eat on the chair while seating down on the floor. However, the location was very good as it is very near (about 5 mins away) to Feng Jia Night Market. The hotel staffs was friendly but overall the stay was good if your main purpose is to stay near Feng Jia market.

5 mins walking distance to the nightmarket. Pretty simple minsu but well equipped. The only is the water heater. The temperature switch between hot and cold rapidly.

A bit of difficult to locate this apt. Nearer the location, we called the apt & they came to meet us & assist us with the bags. Location was good near the nite market plenty of nice & reasonable price foods & other things to shop. Fr the nite market is abt a 3 mins walk to a dimly lighted alley where the apt is. But U are not the only one walking. Is quiet & safe , I walk alone a few times in the nite to buy some foods. Their service is great , they constantly in touch with by Wechats & sending details & U can ask the anythings.

Overall, it is an affordable hotel with good location. The room is small, but clean. The only con is the hotel located in a small road which very hard to look for, i would advise you guys to get a cap if you guys have alots of lugages. The hostel is located near the Feng Chia night market. The room is nice and clean. But the location is a bit difficult to find.

It is really a wonderful experience staying there. The photos shown does not disappoint you. Facilities are in condition and clean =D The owner and staffs there are very friendly too. They even suggest you places to visit and even guide you on how you can get to that particular places and FengJia Night Market is only like around 5-10 minutes walk from there. ;) I would choose to stay there again if I were to visit TaiChung again.

Had a comfortable stay at Grano House which is just a stone's throw away from Fengchia Night Market. The staff are really helpful as well, teaching us how to identify the correct way back from Fengchia back to Grano House. When we couldn't find the place when checking-in, we called and the staff asked us where we were and specially came to pick us up. Really good service and it's a good stay :)

This will be the place if you would like to stay near Fengjia night market. The location is ok, where you can walk to the nearest bus stop in 5 to 10 mins, or you can catch taxi by the main road. Fengjia night market is reachable within 5 mins. The room is bigger than I expected and with comes with ensuite bathroom. Also, the building has an elevator, no issue for big/heavy luggage traveler. The neighbourhood is quiet but the alley is dark during night time. There are no city map/brochures available, but only a piece of Fengjia night market map indicating the foods around the neighbourhood. I would like to suggest that they should provide some Taichung travel brochures/map. They are contactable via Line, Whatapps etc, just text them if you need any help. On the checkout day, they offered us transportation to Taichung HSR station at reasonable price. To bear in mind, this is not a hotel, it might be your choice if you're a budget traveler and love to be near to night market. Fussy traveler please stay on another place.

It's a nice, comfortable, clean and safety hotel. Staffs are nice, helpful and details mind. I am highly recommend visiters choose this hotel. I will book it again when I come Taiwan next time.

1st comes my is mind 3C.. Clean Comfortable Convenient. Night mkt just 3 mins walking distance, friendly helpful staff. This guesthouse just started Oct 2013. Sure be back again.

We had 2 nights stay at Grano. The location is great which is very near Fengjia night market. The room is clean & the bed is comfy. Staffs are very friendly with excellent service! Definitely will recommend to friends!

The building is new and it's located very close to Fengjia night market. Room is clean and furnished with all kind of basic amenities. Even though bottle of mineral waters are not provided, they do provide kettle in room, guests can go down to ground floor to take cool / hot water from the water dispenser at all time. The staff is nice and friendly while we ask for more info. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. I will recommend this place for people travelling to Fengjia, especially for those looking for low budget stay.

The place is indead hard to find (there is no sign outside of it) and a call is compulsory to get destination... The place is brand new, clean and very close to the nigjt market and university. The only bad thing during my stay was that a rooster keep on chanting all night in the close neighboorhood. Couldn't sleep more than an hour in a row whitout being waked up.

They waited up till 1am even though I emailed them saying that I will be checking in one day later, made a call to me to double confirm. It's a very warm gesture. Service was good, Navin was very friendly. Very near to FengJia night market too.
