I loved the peace and quiet. Very comfortable bed, slept like a baby all nights during my stay. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Helpful staff and the room and bathroom was perfect for me. The location was ideal and I felt safe there. The kitchen was beautiful and I enjoyed the coffee and serial station.

Unfortunately the guests staying there on the last night were loud and disrespectful. Lot's of loud fornication late into the night.

The room was not serviced during my stay and no mention was made about this as far as i could see.

The situation is perfect for me. Near my daughter so I was able to go between the two places easily. I had to change the name of the person staying in the room, from my name to that of my son, and the staff were very accommodating with that. This is the second time I have booked at Goblin's Mead.

The noise of other people. Every word can be heard and every footstep, every door opening/closing etc. The rules for Goblin's Mead state no children under 14, yet there was a baby on the property who could also be heard crying. I am unsure if the rooms are serviced daily but it was not done on a daily basis. These comments apply to both visits. I did not rate the first visit as I had hoped that a second visit I would be would prove me wrong.

Great place, value for money. Spacious, comfortable, neat and well equipped rooms. Lovely staff. Quiet and safe neighbourhood.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was warm on a winter night. The kitchen is available for your own catering.

There is only street parking; however, our vehicle was safe.

The staff at Goblins Mead were amazing. Cornelia was extremely accommodating when plans changed at the last minute. The phone call to check that everything was ok and to move the dates was truly appreciated. The guesthouse is clean with everything needed for a stay. Recommended.

Surprisingly very nice area. It felt very safe and peaceful.

Rooms are not soundproofed at all. Curtains barely covered the doors, if other guests are outside, you don't have much privacy or peace if they're outside.

They do not have proper parking. Car had to be parked outside in the sun. The room we got was very small. Hardly any space for luggage to lay around. Getting ready in the room was horrible. There isn’t proper ventilation. Becomes very stuffy. There is a door to outside but can’t have it open while getting dressed after showering for obvious reasons.

The location is quiet and safe. From the street you would never guess what a magical place is behind the front wall. Amazing waterfall pool, great comfy rooms with mini fridge. Cooking facilities for self catering. Amazing warm helpful staff.

Pity that there isn't offstreet parking but the location is secluded so it wasn't a big issue.

They offer free parking but did not mention that it was street parking, not inside / garage parking. However, the area seemed safe enough and my care was fine outside.

I loved everything about the room. There was more than enough privacy and the room was very comfortable

No cleaning service as indicated in their guestbook. Towels old and stained from previous mascara marks. Unit was dusty and decor not cleaned. Our pillows consisted of two old yellowed pillows inside of a pillow protector and then put into a pillowcase. Grossed me out completely. No hooks in rooms to hang towels. No floor mats. No hand towels. Extremely disappointed for the price we paid.

Das Zimmer war wirklich toll – sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Besonders schön war der kleine Pool direkt vor dem Zimmer, perfekt zum Entspannen. Auch der Kaffee im Zimmer war prima, und ein Wasserkocher war in der Küche vorhanden – sehr praktisch. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist ebenfalls gut, man erreicht alles bequem und fühlt sich schnell wohl.

Der Check-in verlief etwas zu hastig – ich hatte das Gefühl, schnell „abgefertigt“ zu werden: Schlüssel, kurze Erklärung, und das war’s. Außerdem war das Zimmer recht hellhörig, und das Licht im Gang blieb an, wodurch es unter der Tür hereinschien. Ich musste extra aufstehen, um es auszuschalten – etwas unpraktisch in der Nacht.

It looks nothing like the photos. The house they put me in was more like a backpackers. Please don't be fooled by the photos. The curtains was dirty and some of the hooks was loose. Maybe there is one or 2 nice rooms but I did not see that. I was woman alone with only men in the other rooms with a shared kitchen and lounge and felt very uncomfortable. I wanted to cancel my booking right away but the lady was not helpful at all. I lost my money but was happy to get out of there.

The place is beautiful and perfect for a group travelling together,

kitchen basin need to be replaced for hygiene and health reasons, for people struggling with allergies it is not a perfect place, there is a big cat around which they love too much to keep it at bay so as a result we spent most of the time away from the property and only went back to sleep.

The outside pool area is so beautiful and the fact that I could leave my patio door open was a huge bonus.

Parking might become a problem if the guesthouse is fully booked.

Spacious room with a nice shower. The bed was very comfortable.

The quiet peaceful solitude. The rustling leaves during the night of the palms amd trees by the pool. The beautiful, rustic ambience made me feel like I was living in London during the 17-18th century. All I required was a lady's maid🥰🥰

The location, the decor, the staff and very clean place!

Found the pillows a bit hard. On the first night fellow guests were very noisy but that is not the proprietors fault . They do have house rules but some people don’t abide by them which is unfortunate.

Loved the interior of my bathroom. I felt like a queen. Adele was super friendly too, such an awesome host. Only got to see (Rosi) I think the other owner. He was feeling unwell but still took the time to meet n greet me. That was another huge highlight, speedy recovery too!! Lastly the housekeeping staff extremely polite and friendly..Goblin Mead felt like HOME!!
