It’s definitely not a 5-star hotel. I don’t know how it can be rated like this. Except the placement and traditional house, nothing merits more than 3 or 4 star. The reception persons are so nonchalant and they are not present all the time. We came with 2 big luggages and our suite is upstairs. There’s no elevator. The receptionist said that our luggages would be carried upstairs for us but no one took care of it. I have to carry them upstairs myself. The same for the checkout, I had to carry them myself downstairs. Never a 5-star hotel should tolerate this. The room is quite nice and traditional. Window view is really beautiful. However, there’s not even bottlers water in the room. Nothing in the fridge either. I asked the receptionist to bring water to the room but no water was brought to us throughout our stay. We know that there was shortage of bottled water during this period in Tunisia but come on, you are a 5 star hotel. The room facility is quite old but the sound isolation was really poor. We hear everything on the street. The included breakfast was just basic and even for an omelet or anything beyond you have to pay extra. Never seen such thing in any other 5 or even 4 star hotels.

L'habitació era molt gran i neta, però no tenia vistes al mar com havíem demanat. Estavem a peu de carrer. L'hotel pel preu no respon a la qualitat. Molt car. Les piscines no tenen espai per prendre el sol. Per accedir a determinades habitacions has de passar per la cuina. No hi ha menjador per esmorzar. És un hotel que ha quedat un tant desfesat. Hi ha moltes coses a millorar

A lovely villa, with great location, right in the heart of Sidi Bou Said. The property is very pretty and has beautiful views of the sea. My room was very nicely decorated and very comfortable - it was very hot in Tunis when I visited (+40 degrees) yet the aircon worked very well and the room was cool. The pool is also very nice. I went for a hammam and while it was a very small room, I still enjoyed the experience. Staff were overall very accommodating.

On the first day it was difficult to sleep in as there was a lot of moving of furniture above my roof, but when I asked for them to stop it did. It would be great if there was more variety at breakfast as it’s mainly just bread/pastry. However the breakfast served did taste good.

Propreté, lits super confortables, vue panoramique, emplacement excellent, personnel acceuillant et aux petits soins.

A very strange experience. Beautiful building and rooms with a fantastic view although one of our rooms was just above the kitchen and smelled strongly of eggs in the morning and fish in the afternoons. The staff were a real mixed bag. Certain of the staff were very friendly and helpful but others were very rude. In particular one member of staff (the very tall man who was often around reception) was aggressive towards my mother when she sought to have the aforementioned room with smells changed. He initially said that they would be changed the following day but seemingly forgot about it and then said that the room he was going to move them into was filled so my mother and sister had to wait another day to move to a new room. Throughout all of these exchanges his manner was dismissive. On our final day we returned from a day trip to Dougga (where it was 48 degrees) to find that there were no towels in our room. When I went to reception to ask for some towels I was informed by the same staff member that there were no more towels in the hotel and to ‘trust him’. I explained that this was obviously unacceptable in a 5 star hotel at which he still insisted that the hotel had no more towels. At this point I insisted he come into our room so that I could explain that in fact we had not been given any towels at all at which point he went and pulled some towels out of the dryer which were still slightly damp. I probably still wouldn’t have left a review with all of this but in the transfer the hotel organised for us to Djerba someone from reception called us several times and aggressively yelled at us, accusing us of stealing towels (the same towels that had not been provided the day before). It was a very disappointing end to our stay.

Delizioso e caratteristico boutique hotel in posizione privilegiata in uno splendido villaggio. Camera arredata in modo caratteristico e situata in una splendida cornice. La colazione è deliziosa, il letto molto comodo e il personale gentile.

Il check in notturno non all’altezza in quanto al nostro arrivo, intorno all’1:00 di notte, in seguito ad un ritardo del nostro volo, la villa risultava completamente chiusa e al buio. Le chiamate all’hotel non sono state risolutive, in quanto nessuno si è premurato di uscire a vedere dove potevamo essere e solo dopo aver girato attorno all’edificio per una buona mezz’ora, abbiamo visto il portone dell’ingresso, riconosciuto solo dal fatto che vi era esposto il menù del ristorante. Abbiamo, pertanto, bussato con forza finché qualcuno è venuto ad aprire il portone.

L’emplacement est superbe en haut du village avec vue sur la mer, le port et la plage et bénéficie d’un petit vent agréable quand il fait 32*

Sans doute par manque de personnel, la piscine et ses alentours ne sont nettoyés qu’une fois par jour et après 9h le matin. Petit déjeuner très moyen.

L’unica vista era bella e quella del mare , La colazione era terribile per una struttura di 5 stelle , Non c’era abbastanza posti per fare una colazione tranquilla, spazio molto stretto, arrivano anche ospiti di passaggio esterni per un cafe o per avere un brunch , L’unica risposta del cameriere che la loro colazione e una colazione continentale. Non c’era tanta scelta prende quello che ti offrono o lascia , Chiesto spremuta non ce l’hanno , Veramente per un 5 stelle e un disastro . Ho prenotato un tavolo al ristorante della struttura alle ore 20:00 x 2 persone Arrivato 5 minuti in ritardo il tavolo non era pronto , il cameriere ci ha fatto sedere a un tavolo non era pronto o apparecchiato in piu con la tovaglia sporca , il ristorante era vuoto , solo noi e un altro tavolo con 3 pax . Dopo l’antipasto abbiamo dovuto aspettare quasi 25 minuti per ricevere i secondi piatti , mancavano i piatti da pane ,ho dovuto chiedere 2 volte al cameriere di portare i piatti da pane . Comunque abbiamo mangiato in fretta per uscire e godere la serata in altro posto .

Nous avons séjourné 3 jours dans cet établissement pour mon mariage . Le personnel a tout mis en œuvre pour que je puisse me préparer tranquillement et que mon shooting photo se passe bien. La vue de l’établissement est absolument incroyable , les chambres sont spacieuse et très jolies .

Le petit déjeuner n’est pas varié et est très simple . (Œuf à la coque, pain , café , jus , beurre et confiture)

The location was great and the views were lovely. We had other plans otherwise we would have tried the restaurant for dinner and breakfast, it smelled so delicious! It was a very cozy room with a nice indoor and outdoor seating area.

For us personally, we cannot sleep in a room over 22 C, and the temperature was easily close to 30. And for a Thursday night, the noise and partying went much later than I expected (midnight).

Sehr schönes Hotel mit wunderschönen Blick aufs Meer. Der Sonnenaufgang war jeden Tag ein Erlebnis. Es ist ein sehr charmantes Villa mit einem eigenen Restaurant und sehr gutes Essen.

Les prestations sont au rendez-vous, la vu est sublime, l'accueil incroyable, et le massage inoubliable !

La vue est magnifique et l’établissement très propre

Les services n’étaient pas à la hauteur d’un hôtel 5 étoiles : le personnel est assez nonchalant et ne donne pas toutes les informations concernant l’établissement à l’arrivée (accès piscine, spa, restaurant, etc.). Dès notre arrivée, nous avions fait part de notre volonté de réserver un soin au Spa, mais comme la personne à l’accueil semblait débordé, elle nous a demandé de revenir plus tard. Et plus tard, elle nous apprend que le Spa est fermé le dimanche. Rien ne l’indiquait sur le site internet, alors que nous avions réservé en partie pour le Spa. Le petit-déjeuner n’est pas très bon et mérite une nette amélioration dans les produits proposés et leurs variétés. La chambre Ovalie est beaucoup trop bruyante ! Dès 4h du matin nous avons été réveillés par le staf. Je déconseille vivement cette chambre.

J ai oublié mon blouson le 12 janvier après un séjour à l hôtel Après avoir proposé de payer les frais de port ( la poste 18 dinars et post express 70 dinars), et après de nombreux échanges, le 4 mars on m’a annoncé qu’il me faut payer 85 euros pour envoyer mon blouson… malhonnêteté et « jemenfoutisme » avéré Quand à mon séjour, correcte mais le dîner était triste à mourir… Bref je ne reviendrai pas et vous déconseille egalement que pour leur manque de grâce et de service … 5 étoiles ?? 😢

Des cafards m'ont rendu visite dans la chambre, la literie est assez vétuste et inconfortable Insonorisation médiocre de la chambre, on entend même la sonnerie du tél de la réception et le bruit du ménage. Les taies d'oreillers étaient tachées, drap housse vétuste et réparé. Petit déj "continental" pas varié du tout Dommage pour un hôtel ayant un tel potentiel

Our room was incredible. A super cool domed ceiling in the oval bedroom with a large balcony overlooking the golf of Tunis. The location in Sidi Bou Said is perfect for exploring the town and water front. Food was delicious as well.

The property is very challenging to access. We had a rental car and it took us several hours to figure out how to navigate past the multiple road blocks and gates. We called the property for help but they just kept sending us the location and telling to come on the road with the cemetery but the cemetery was on the other side of a gate that the attendant would not let us through. After the fourth call to the property, they finally understood our situation and spoke to the gate attendant to get us through. I would definitely arrange for hotel pick up outside the closed area for your stay. While our room was lovely, it was right next to the kitchen so it was loud in the morning when they prepared breakfast.

I expected more in term of food service, some extra offers for married couples , the breakfast was too simple there is nothing special in it except the view of the sea.

Loved the location, breakfast, the waiter on the first day but didn’t see him the further 3 days. Service was impacted without him especially on the dinner the second night. Staff good but you had to go find them quite abit

Panorama a dir poco fantastico, pulizia ottima. Stanze arredate con cura e notevole bellezza.

La colazione, sufficiente ma non entusiasmante (ad esempio una omelette la si deve pagare...28 dinari (circa 9 euro). Il ristorante e` di buona qualita` ma con menu` ``povero`` e sicuramente caro.

very nice room and very nice view

there was no heater in the room and it was cold. They tried to fix it but they could not. When we came back the room was cold but we were too tiered to ask to change the room so we slept in the cold. Same with the bathroom with no heater !

الموقع رائع .. أمام البحر مباشرة كان شروق الشمس مذهل تستطيع التجول في سيدي بوسعيد من موقعك .. لا تحتاج لسيارة كل المواقع بالقرب منك الطاقم بشوش ومضياف (فريال) في الاستقبال كانت رائعة ومتجاوبه لطلباتنا تناولنا غداء متأخر في مطعم الفندق .. كان لذيذًا جدًا أشكر الشيف وطاقم العمل سأكرر التجربة بكل تأكيد

الفطور لم يكن متنوع وكمياته قليلة .. قد يناسب بعض السياح .. لكني تمنيت لو كان يحتوي على بعض الجبن والخضروات يتم إعداد الفطور عند طلبك تتناوله في غرفتك أو في شرفة الفندق لايوجد ميني بار بالغرفة وهذا أمر مخيب بالنسبة لي (قد يحتاج أحد لهذه المعلومات ) لكني كنت سعيدة جدًا بكل التفاصيل

Le petit déjeuné est franchement pas génial. La suite ovalie, à côté de la réception et du restaurant, malgré qu elle soit très belle avec une vue exceptionnelle, est très bruyante, je ne la conseillerai pas.

Spacious, characterful room in beautiful setting, perfectly positioned in this charming village. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff all friendly and helpful. It’s a genuinely delightful boutique hotel I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Also, no problem accommodating a late check-in after late night flight.

The only small criticism I can think of would be that trying to order a drink in the evening is incredibly slow: on one occasion almost half an hour from sitting down to the drink arriving. But given the hotel’s other charms that feels very minor.
