Bauman Ville Hotel

Old hotel bed are not comfortable, sticky room low light noise on road side room.

No one is there after hours, we heard someone fighting around 2am and it lasted for 35 min and no one not even the police did anything. The pictures on the site are correct but in poor condition the restaurant was closed when I asked they said we don’t k is when it opens pool is behind a street vendor grilling meats and all the smoke goes into the pool area I had to ask for a tv and the door latch was broken off and the door doesn’t lock after opening the door open looks nice but looks can be deceiving.

I enjoy it

No good ma

Room was in disrepair. Very loud with jack hammer noises and loud bikes.

2night stay. Bed very lumpy and hard. Air con machines on balcony unguarded with fan exposed.woken up at midnight before check out to be told we hadn’t paid yet! Cheap but that’s about it☹️ I don’t think it’s owned by Thai people! Frenchies bar by the pool is excellent

Good, clean with plenty of bars about and walkable to Bangla road.

Friendly and helpful staffs.

so good

Convenient location. Staffs were super nice and friendly. Room was spacious.

I have lived there for 3 months total, coming and going a couple of times, and have paid them plenty of money, was always sober and quiet at night (unlike most other guests), none of which stopped from the front desk/manager behaving in a totally outrageous manner toward me, yelling, ignoring my requests, sabotaging services due to me and more. It escalated over time and ended up being outright abusive. In the end, she directed cleaning stuff to bypass my room, so I had no clean towels and garbage piling up (no way to dispose of it by myself without risking breaking local regulations), shut off electricity exclusively to my room, leaving me without any air-conditioning in a 40+ degree heat and did everything possible to force me to move out before the agreed upon time (even though I have already changed it before by a few dates in her favour, when it was not at all convenient to me) She even kicked the door super-loudly one of the mornings demanding for me to move out. I ended up having to go to the police and go through multiple complicated steps there that took many days in total, in order to stop this. Keep in mind I've prepaid in advance and had not done anything that could remotely justify such conduct. Sadly, judging by what I've read in other reviews and what I'd observed this bullying behaviour is the norm for her. When I finally could get a hold of the owner and showed the only English-speaking member of the owner's family what had occurred (literally showing her the sweltering room full of trash), she did offer a pretty sincere apology, but that hardly compensates for all of my stress, headaches, trips to police, lost time and money. I was unable to concentrate on very important business, complete necessary phone calls or even just relax in my room in peace for the last 10 days of my stay, and it was not exactly a picnic before that either. The unbalanced person at the front desk can spoil your holiday at any time she's having her nerves act up again and there is nothing that can be done about it! You have been warned.

My partner and I stayed here for 10 days! Everything was great and staff very friendly and accommodating (helped us hire a scooter for our time here). There is a 7-11 straight across the road along with multiple restaurants at your doorstep. It is a small walk (15-20 mins walk) from the Patong Beach central area (which is great for people who don’t want to stay in the central Patong Beach as it can be extremely loud and overbearing. Rooms are very spacious, clean and a very comfortable bed. I would recommend to all my friends and family who come to Phuket. Thank you for the lovely stay.

Good stay - bathroom needs attention and update - bathroom fan sounded like an airplane taking off until it was shut off!

We spent nearly an hour to be advised by the newly front desk receptionist that we don’t have reservation when showed her the confirmed reservation. She repeatedly advised us there was no reservation under our names and no room is available. Luckily Noi was able to help and located the reservation. Noi was very accommodating to let us leave our luggage and have beach towels for our day tour prior to our check-in. We requested a room away from the streets and traffic noise. Instead we got the room facing the loudly street. Roaring motorcycles and vehicles noise kept us up all night! The bed didn’t help much as it was hard as a rock! Even though the hotel is not near the actions but the traffic noise is unbearable!

The building itself is fairly nice, rooms are spacious, there is a big balcony BUT all of that is rendered useless because the manager/receptionist here is out of her mind! She is rude, hateful, refuses to help and yells at you if you try and fix the issues that she is supposed to help with! She is old and, perhaps, has outdated views on things, but it truly makes for a poisonous experience. The cleaning staff, too, do not speak any English whatsoever (which is typical for Phuket, to be fair) and so you are forced to contact that manager for every little thing (there is no phone, so you must come down) when you do come down, she is often not there at all, or is busy and will make a point of making you wait forever. I ended up avoiding her, and after a few days of that she straight up yelled at me, CURSED!, and asked to move out. I refused, as I have prepaid, had set plans, and I haven't done anything wrong at all. So instead of coming to her senses and apologising she now made the entire staff ignore me. Save yourself the trouble and stay at a place where you will feel welcome.

Great place to stay close to all the action on Nanai rd. Very friendly staff especially Mum who works the front desk. Most things within walking distance or hire a motorcycle through the hotel and head out on an adventure. Totally recommend and I'll be back next time I'm in Patong.💖

The hotel staff are friendly. Rooms are clean. Pool is a little small but still nice to relax in during the heat of the day.

Go to the price is very clean

The actual hotel is very average looking, rooms are massive and comfy. The owner / boss is very kind and helpful and even drove us to the airport for a much cheaper price than a taxi. Would recommend if you’re looking for a cheap but not grim place to stay.

We stayed at the Bauman hotel while travelling through the corona pandemic and the experience was lovely, the rooms were very spacious, cleaned every single day and the beds were large and comfy. The staff were so friendly and the owner even gave us a lift to the airport when we couldn’t get a taxi. Would really recommend staying here

I have been living in this lovely hotel for over a year now. The management and staff is so friendly, like a small family- they are so helpful and professional. The rooms are so comfortable, big and have nice views. The windows are so huge and lots of natural light provide a very positive feeling. The bed is so nice and soft and so are the sheets and blankets. I love this hotel. There is a beautiful pool area to relax and enjoy a drink from the bar. Food is excellent and affordable. The location of this Hotel is perfect for me- Nanai Road is so interesting and near the beach and shopping center. I will never stay anywhere else- it fits my economy and needs very well. I highly recommend the Hotel. To the owner and staff i would like to say, thank you for all- and i hope to spend many years in your Hotel. All the Best from Jesper.

As a frequent traveler, my biggest fear has become a reality. As I was getting ready to go to sleep, I pulled the sheet down only to find bugs crawling on the bed. This was quite a frightening experience, especially knowing these bugs travel on clothes, luggage etc. Earlier in the evening I noticed what I thought could have been blood stains on the sheets, but thought it may have been from food. After finding the bugs it’s evident that those stains were from blood. I then decided to pack up quickly to move to another hotel. When I showed the owner pictures of the bed so that he could process a refund, he proceeded to offer me another room instead. He explained how the room would be sprayed with chemicals the following day. Unfortunately, this just wasn’t an option for me at this point. Feeling traumatized I couldn’t leave the hotel fast enough. He then explained how all of the money couldn’t be refunded and gave me an attitude for asking for it back. He ended up not returning the full amount, however I just wanted to leave, so I agreed on what he wanted to give me. Hopefully this issue is resolved immediately before other travelers have to experience this nightmare as well.

The manager was extremely nice, offering help in every way possible. He hooked us up with great deals and packages for phi phi islands and taxi services. A great place to stay, clean and tidy rooms, would recommend to everybody! Will stay here again if I come back.

i came with my son and husband and the hotel is very clean staff very friendly and helpful. its location is very nice, you can walk very close to the bars street and the beach, and there is no noise. the food is delicious. My son is 1 year old and I was very scared at first, but the staff was very interested in us. we can take the tour from the hotel and convenient. According to many hotels, it is both very suitable and high quality. I would definitely recommend. the owner and wife of the hotel are very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was situated in a wonderful area. Although an older hotel it was kept well. Very quiet at night was a definite plus for me.

Travelling with my partner this Hotel is ideal clean and comfortable, helpful and friendly staff. Good location would definitely recommend, main strip is about 10 min walk, great street food outside. .

Hotel Bauman Ville is excellent value for money, it doesn't look like much from the outside but the inside is completely different, the rooms are very spacious with very large comfortable bed. The rooms are spotless and look exactly like they do in the pictures. The hotel is ideally situated (only 10 min to the beach and busy bars). The staff are really friendly they even have a pool. It's far exceeded my expectations especially for the price.

staff and boss all very kind and nice, we are travelling with small baby, they are very take care of us, when we are having breakfast, the staff will help to take care the baby to let us have a wonderful breakfast time. Thank you so much to all the staff and boss of Bauman Ville Hotel Patong ^^.

The location is good for traveller, value of money and near place of buy foods. The room is so cleanness and the breakfast is okay. The staff was friendly and its had a pool, that 20 THB per game. I was really recommend to stay here.

We stay there for almost a mont. Only nice experience. Good breakfast, helpful staff, big and clean room, comfortable bed. There was a renovation running on this time but it was not a problem for us. Only the pool need upgrade but everything with the time 😉

Having previously lived in the same area full-time, we were very familiar with the location of this hotel. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the guestroom, and the bathroom was slightly larger and better appointed than those in other area guesthouses. The rooms facing the street seemed just a bit smaller than those facing the back, but both are good sized. The swimming pool and small bar, which is screened off from the street is a hidden gem. We found the staff and owner to be very friendly and accommodating. For the price paid, this was an excellent value.

I found this hotel to be in need of some love and care. It was grubby and in need of some attention. The restaurant and bar were none-existent, I was told there were plenty around, which there are but that isn’t the point. The pool was dirty and it was on a main road and very very noisy. Even with the door and curtains closed, we didn’t sleep. The one member of staff in the hotel was busy and couldn’t leave reception to find me a hairdryer. The room was a decent size and bedding clean, that’s about the only positive I can give.

Comfortable and clean

Is was good and cheap. Hotel help us with next booking. But swimmingpool need to be repaired.

The beds are very hard to sleep on. the location is good: 7/11 store right on the front, an amazing restaurant "Chaidee food&drinks" as well in front of the hotel. The staff made a mistake with our reservation, and didn't took any resposebility: I asked for 1 double bed on the "Hotels.com" reservation, but i've been given room with 2 single beds. What my husband and i should have done?! No refund, no apologize from the lady in the reception. Really rude.

The Bauman Ville was exceptional value for money. The staff were very friendly and helpful assisting us with several problemswe had contacting a tour operator we had booked. Although some paintwork was in need of touching up the room wasall we hoped for.

I stay here once or twice a month when I visit Patong

I've stayed here 4 times now (maybe 5). It's about 1-2 km back from the beach. Not really walking distance, but a quick tuk tuk ride will get you to the beach / nightlife (Bangla). There are plenty of bars / restaurants within walking distance if you dont want to go any further. The rooms are spacious and clean. The lady that manages it and her daughter (bell girl) are fantastic and always friendly. There is a dive shop right next door (aussie Divers) and a lot of the guests seem to stay here because of that. We stay here because it's a decent hotel at a good price, and once you have a motorbike, it;s 2-3 minutes away from everything. Will definitely stay here again !

Good service

I had a great time staying here. The hotel was extremely helpful with anything I needed. Lots of unique restaurants close by, so I got to try out a variety of cultural foods.

Nice hotel, little far from the beach but still walkable distance. Clean comfortable rooms. They have a small pool but I didnt have a chance to use it so cant say much about it.

Nice hotel to stay in. Wonderful manager who was very hospitable and caring and really helped to make it a fine place to stay. The staff were all very kind. The room was cleaned daily. Another plus was that the manager got us heavily discounted prices, often over 50% off, for several tours that we went on, which we were really grateful for. Noisy at night sometimes due to rowdy behaviour by some guests.

Good hotel though bit far from beach area. Assume the price you pay for the property totally makes for it

This is quote good hotel, very pleasant staff, they will help you in any point of direction needed. There is no STAFF working during mid-night.. their staff work on 8am - 6pm (Thai Time) only. We checked-in on 1.30 am, one of the guard help us to provide room key... No staff will be there for any help or to get any further details for the room example changing a room or what so ever... advice to check in during day time. :) Would like to add one more thing.. There are Bauman Residence & Bauman Ville Hotel. Both are different. The Mini bus drivers are so unfamiliar with those hotel. Please clearly tell them which hotel you guys are going to. Advice to bring Google Map, because the Mini Bus drivers are not so good with ENGLISH & DIRECTION.
