All was great, room, dinner, pool...

Breakfast is open till 10.30 but after 9.30 missing items were not available.

We were only here one night. The property is beautiful. It was a nice gym, the staff was kind and the breakfast was wonderful. We didn’t stay long enough to enjoy the spa. The room was clean and bed was comfortable.

Nothing - it’s pretty far from Orvieto up the hill, but this didn’t impact our staff.

Disjointed. Not recommended for those without a car as no on premise trollies are available. Under resourced. Excellent staff being overworked particularly in the restaurant. No concierge services. No wine or wine glasses or bottle openers provided in room. Odd for an adult only wine resort.

You need a taxi or car to access the property. Taxi will cost $25 from train station.

Relaxing small resort set in beautiful location among vines and olive groves. The room was very comfortable with all we needed. The infinity pool with its panoramic view and also the hydrotherapy pool was a delight. The breakfast was delicious and we also had a wonderful tasting menu in the restaurant. A great beginning to our trip!

The resort and property were beautiful and perfectly maintained. The room was very comfortable with beautiful views. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Excellent breakfast! The no pets policy is appreciated and the resort feels more elegant and upscale than similar resorts with dogs all over their properties.

The walk from the parking area to the hotel is uphill about 200 steps and could be challenging for some older guests.

Nella nostra suite mancavano le cose più basilari che si trovano in qualsiasi struttura come ad es. sapone liquido . I prezzi a nostro avviso erano troppo alti o comunque ingiustificati rispetto alla qualità del servizio offerto . Colazione buona ma sufficiente.

Tiny fridge so can’t really bring any cold food or drinks back from town. Beers in the pool bar not cold. Not good for Aussie male visitor 😁 Pool and bar closed early compared to daylight hours. No casual bar space available between pool closing and restaurant opening or just in general during the day if not wanting to be around the pool. Aircon in room wouldn’t adjust below set temp but was still pleasant enough in room. Occasionally felt a little warm or humid in the room. Overall trivial issues.

Loved our stay! Fantastic staff, facilities and food. Views were fabulous. Pool was lovely. Conveniently close to Orvieto for exploring. Highly recommend.

The restaurant was super expensive.

Everything was exceptional. The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by breathtaking views. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, the facilities were excellent, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, Roberto, Irene, and the whole staff were AMAZING. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy Orvieto. We truly loved our stay.

Honestly, there was nothing we didn’t like. Everything met or exceeded our expectations, and we had a wonderful experience from beginning to end.

L’unico inconveniente del nostro soggiorno e’ stato il clima afoso che c’è in questa stagione in tutto il paese.

The pool was fantastic. The view of the hills were stunning. The rooms were spacious with nice furniture. The grounds were well looked after. The restaurant offering was of a very high quality, the flavours very special. The staff were friendly.

It was difficult to eat at the restaurant often due to the price and sophistication of the food. I would have preferred a restaurant that was more casual with a menu that was still of a high quality but with offerings more simple with more vegetable options. Also the furniture placed in the balcony outside the living room was too simple and uncomfortable to lounge on for long periods of time. It would have been great to have soft furniture with an arm chair and sofa to read a book and rest on.

המקום מדהים ביופיו. שלווה מוחלטת, הבתים ממוקמים בתוך שטחים חקלאיים - טובלים בכרמים ועצי זית , הבריכה נפלאה. המקום מתוחזק מעולה והצוות נחמד ביותר. החדר מאד נח.

הדבר היחיד שראוי לשיפור זה ארוחת הבוקר - ירקות טריים יכלו להיות תוספת נפלאה ואז זה היה מושלם.

La camera un po’ piccola ma la difficoltà di regolare l’area condizionata. La televisione decisamente piccola per gli standard odierni. In compenso la terrazza era panorami e è molto grande

Abbiamo preso un drink in una delle due piscine ma ad un certo punto abbiamo dovuto consumare l’aperitivo un po’ di fretta per la presenza di diverse zanzare alquanto fastidiose…piccolo problema ben inteso, è solo un appunto….

היה חסר כוח אדם וזה בא לידי ביטוי בשירות שניתן החדר היה מרוחק ולא היו שירותי room services לחדר חסרה האפשרות לשתיית קפה במקום. יש בלובי אבל לא בכל שעה (ומדובר על שעות היום) הבריכה ליד מתחם החדרים שלנו היתה בסוג של שיפוץ והבר ליד הבריכה לא פעל

Very comfortable rooms and super attentive staff provided impeccable service. Don't forget to go for the digustation menus with wine pairing in the restaurant.

Beautiful secluded resort in a serene setting. Our suite was in the annex of the property , which was far enough from the main building to provide complete privacy, including the huge pool. We had fantastic views over the surrounding vineyards and beyond.

Poor signage to find the property, considering it is hidden up in the hill among the vineyards. At checkup the the reception staff completely ignored to provide details about the wellness centre.

Soggiorno fantastico! La location e la struttura sono davvero bellissime. Una menzione d'onore va al ristorante interno, assolutamente eccezionale per qualità e servizio. Nota di merito anche per la bellissima SPA: un ambiente perfetto per rilassarsi, ma ricordate che va tassativamente prenotata in anticipo, altrimenti non potrete accedere.

Soggiorno nel complesso molto positivo, da 10/10 se non fosse per un piccolo dettaglio sul servizio food in piscina. Attualmente in una delle due piscine ci sono dei lavori in corso e manca il servizio bar (disguido comprensibile), mentre l'altra vasca offre il servizio bar a orari ridotti, con la possibilità di avere snack solo dalle 15:00 alle 18:00. Il ristorante è adiacente alla piscina e, pur capendo la scelta di non servire piatti caldi o complessi a bordo vasca, è un peccato che sia mancata quella flessibilità in più nel permettere di consumare un'insalata o un club sandwich direttamente sul lettino. In questo modo la struttura ha perso l'opportunità di vendere un pranzo per quattro persone e diverse consumazioni. Resta comunque una bellissima vacanza: lo staff è super, basterebbe davvero questo piccolo accorgimento per raggiungere l'eccellenza.

Altarocca Wine Resort è un luogo incantevole, adagiato sulle colline di Rocca Ripesena a pochi minuti da Orvieto. Appena arrivi capisci che qui il tempo rallenta: vigneti, uliveti e un silenzio che rende tutto subito romantico. Lo staff è il vero punto di forza. Attento, gentile e discreto, ti fa sentire accolto come a casa senza mai essere invadente. Ci hanno consigliato il tavolo più appartato per cena e ci hanno fatto scoprire i loro vini con una passione che si nota. A tavola si assaggia l’Umbria vera. Il ristorante Invinum Gourmet propone cucina locale curata, con prodotti del territorio e i vini della cantina Altarocca che sono una scoperta. Cenare con vista sulle colline al tramonto è un’esperienza che resta. La mattina inizia al meglio con una colazione abbondante, dolce e salata, con prodotti biologici e a km 0. Ci siamo seduti fuori più volte solo per goderci la vista sui filari. Il pomeriggio lo abbiamo passato tra le due piscine all’aperto, entrambe bellissime e molto curate. Una è perfetta per nuotare, l’altra è più da relax con lettini immersi nel verde. Vista vigneti, zero confusione, solo il sole e il suono della campagna: il modo ideale per staccare davvero. Se cercate pace, intimità di coppia e una base elegante vicino a Orvieto, qui la trovate.

Abendessen mit eingeschränkter Auswahl und eher teuer. Etwas Abseits vom Zentrum Orvieto.

The bathroom was large and beautiful. The breakfast was good. The staff were friendly. The pool temp and size were nice.

The pool bar was closed. We would have to go to the main pool to have a bar. The room was a ways from there. We had to order ice, but staff was good to deliver. Restaurant is too expensive for dinner so we went off property. Steep tight roads to get there, but view is beautiful. Room rate is overpriced. Beds are slightly hard.

The location and scenery is incredibly beautiful. The views from the panoramic pool are particularly good and we preferred this to the other pool which doesn't have a view at all. The staff at the restaurant were so friendly and helpful and we really recommend the wine tasting which was such good value for money and we learnt so much!

The food options on the weekend were quite limited as the restaurant menu stays the same on the weekends. This was a little disappointing because there are no other restaurants in close proximity to the hotel and we didn't want to have to drive into the old town for food necessarily.

TODO nos encantó. La habitación muy cómoda, el baño, el paisaje, el restaurante, el desayuno.. Lástima no habernos quedado más tiempo!
