Staff, especially in the restaurant, were outstanding. Genuinely friendly, outgoing and helpful. Hotel is very well located within a 5 minute walk of central Furnas - excellent location. Rooms were basic but comfortable- there is no A/Cbut the evenings and nights were cool, so with the window open it was not an issue for us. Very quiet area at night - no loud traffic. Insect screens on the windows would have been appreciated, but only got 1 mosquito bite so maybe it isn’t a big deal. Pool was very nice and relaxing (unheated, but water temperature was good). Ample parking. The breakfast buffet was also quite good. Lots of fresh fruit, breads, eggs and cheeses. Better than I had expected to be honest. All in all, an excellent hotel. Highly recommend for Furnas.

Aucune climatisation dans la chambre. Le fait de ne pas avoir de climatisation nous obligeant a laisser porte ouverte ce qui fait en sorte que nous pouvons avoir a l'occasion des odeurs de cigarettes et entendre chien qui aboie.

After 8 days of trekking, I spent 4 wonderful days relaxing at this hotel, enjoying the geothermal springs, swimming in waterfalls, and taking in the beauty of the lake and Parque da Grená. It was the perfect place to rest and recharge. The service was absolutely wonderful. The staff were friendly, smiling, and very professional. The room was lovely, and the hotel has been beautifully refreshed. The spacious lobby is very welcoming, and the pool is delightful, with a breathtaking view. The location is fantastic. The breakfasts were delicious, and the restaurant was also very good. Our room had a beautiful view of the hills, with palm leaves right outside the window — almost within arm’s reach. I am absolutely delighted with our stay and would happily come back! Thank you, Vista do Vale, for a wonderful stay and such a wonderful time! ❤️

Il faisait assez chaud dans la chambre car il n'y a pas de clim, à défaut il aurait été appréciable d'avoir un ventilateur ou brasseur d'air au plafond

Das Hotel liegt am Rande der Stadt auf einem kleinen Berg. Man hat eine top Aussicht und ist selbst zu Fuß innerhalb von max 10 min in der kleinen Innenstadt. Der Terra Nostra Park ist somit bspw. fußläufig zu erreichen. Die Zimmer selbst sind sauber und das Frühstück bietet einiges an Auswahl. Es gibt einen Billardtisch für alle.

Leider nicht klimatisiert - hätten wir begrüßt, steht aber auch in der Beschreibung, dass keine vorhanden ist. Es gibt recht wenig Parkplätze für die Anzahl an Zimmern. Jedoch kann man dann alternativ an der engen Straße parken.

Breakfast could be more diverse, and there was no AC, but we managed as we arrived when the heat started to lower.

Très bon hôtel surtout pour l’accueil et la gentillesse du personnel. Hôtel familial au calme . Petit déjeuner excellent . La parking privé est un plus .

Nous avions une chambre sur le jardin , sans balcon un peu humide. La climatisation ou un ventilateur serait appréciable. Le prix un peu élevé mais tout est plus cher à Furnas .

Empregados muito simpáticos. Limpeza ótima. Bom pequeno almoço com muita variedade. Recomendo 5*.

Gorgeous view! Great location, close to everything in town. Keep in mind if you have mobility issues, you need to walk up a steep hill for about 2 minutes each time you come back. The staff was phenomenal! Friendly, answered all our questions, gave tips, and always had a smiling face. Convenient breakfast. The outdoor space was very welcome in the evening. Plentiful parking and we had two rental cars. Great to have a mini-fridge in the room for grocery purchases. Excellent to have a pool, but be prepared for the cool temperature.

With the lack of air conditioning and the high humidity in Furnas, it was quite difficult to be comfortable while sleeping or to dry out swimsuits and towels. Consider packing a personal fan for some air movement if this will bother you. Our room had an ant problem and it was dealt with quickly by staff, but did occur for two days.

The bed was hard and uncomfortable and there was no air-conditioning. The staff did give us a big fan for the room, which mostly did the job

Bella la vista, posto tranquillissimo dove veramente ti puoi rilassare. La camera viene pulita ogni giorno in maniera eccellente.

Per il prezzo proposto, struttura un po’ anziana con pochi spunti di modernità e soprattutto pochi servizi a disposizione. Letto enorme, ma un po datato e scomodo.

L'emplacement qui offre une belle vue, la parking gratuit, la piscine un.peu froide mais on y rentre bien, la chambre était confortable, la salle du petit déjeuner offre une belle vue sur la ville et la montagne, le billard en libre accès.

L'absence d'eau chaude quand il n'y a pas soleil.

Wunderschön gelegen mit herrlicher Aussicht. Da Personal ist sensationell freundlich und hilfsbereit. Und beim Frühstücksbuffet bleiben keine Wünsche offen.

Pokoj byl poměrně vlhký, tmavý bez dvou křesel nebo židlí, v koupelně nebyly háčky ani jine odkládací místo na věci a lednici jsme nemohli používat, protože dělala takový hluk, že se nedalo spát ani bavit se.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Pool was lovely after long days. Parking was a bit challenging during peak times, but easy enough to navigate. The room was comfortable and balcony was great. Buffet breakfast was fine (nothing notable).

Un hôtel sans prétention mais avec une belle vue qui permet de bien profiter à pied de Furnas. Chaque chambre est dotée d'une terrasse, spacieuse. Le personnel est sympa. C'est vraiment tout à fait correct et un bon rapport qualité prix.

The view from the room was great, as well as the buffet style breakfast. Sure, the hotel is a bit older, and not so flashy but it was a great choice for us, as it is well located, clean and quiet.

The breakfast was amazing, the room was very clean and the location of the hotel is in a quiet area and close to all of the things that you would want to do in Furnas.

The hotel contacted me to remind me that I did not book a room with a balcony (we chose an economy room). That was fine with us because we didn’t need a balcony. What we did not know is that the rooms have no fans or cooling of any kind and in the economy room you do not get a screen for your window, so you cannot open your window (mosquitos), so you just have to lie there and sweat all night.

The bar opening hours were not great, and the hotel seemed pretty understaffed, but the staff who were there were really friendly and helpful.

Amazing views, not the newest or fanciest facilities but I think it is a great option for the price and not as far from everything as I was expecting. I had a car but once in town, I walked everywhere.

Parts felt a bit older/rundown. Buffet was basic fruit was good but eggs were not.

Clean and quiet location , breakfast is ok . How I wish there’s boiled egg, however staff in the kitchen specially the lady ( i forgot her name) is nice and respectful. There’s an incident that a customer was asking for a water to fill up her bottle container, however her hands are full of plates and cutleries and she mentioned to the customer to wait for a while and she will come back to her but the customer mis interpreted her voice tone thinking she is rude to her. I was there as a witness and she is reasonable that her hands are full at the moment and unable to help her and i did not find her rude in-fact she is calm and reasonable. I hope this review will reach to the manager if the customer complained about her.

Je to starší hotel, ale krásně udržovaný s parkovištěm pro auto. Nádherný výhled, je tu klid jako v přírodě. Snídaně skvělá, stále doplňované jídlo.

Utrolig hjælpsomt personale, der allerede ved tjek in, fortalte om området og kom med mange gode inputs til ture osv. Morgenmaden var ok. Flot og dejlig udsigt ud over Furnas-dalen. Da vi skulle afrejse meget tidligt den sidste morgen, fik vi en morgenmad to-go med - det var super dejligt. Vi spiste en enkelt aften i restauranten, maden smagte rigtig godt. Det var nemt at gå ned og spise i byen. Dejligt med parkering.

Man kan med fordel overveje at lydisolere bedre i restauranten - der er mange "rene" flader, og det giver en utrolig dårlig akustik, det er selvfølgelig i småtingsafdelingen, men ja mega dårlig akustik. Poolen var ikke opvarmet, måske stod inden jeg bookede, og jeg blot ikke så det, det kan jeg være i tvivl om, men vandet var for koldt til at bade i.

We had a nice view over the valley, breakfast was plentiful and varied, within easy reach of Tony's restaurant, room was well equipped

Hotel was a bit dated but didn't affect the stay

Super nice hotel experience! Room spacious, comfortable and clean. Balcony overseeing the valley was a very pleasant addition to relax on after an eventful day. Staff was fantastic - kind, helpful and sharing tips how to prepare for Furnas thermal pools. Continental breakfast was fairly tasty as expected. I would recommend!

The hotel is located at the edge of the town, but is within walking distance from the city center. The staff speaks amazing english and is very polite. They offer breakfast which was also amazing and diverse and they also offer dinner. We also enjoyed the pool table, the bar and the lounge.

The bathroom could be organized a little better (doors struck the toilet). Some handles for the towels would also be nice.

We had a large, clean room with two large beds. Nice view over the town and valley from our balcony. Room and bathroom in good order, they may be newly renovated. The heating worked and was needed. Nice staff and good breakfast. We found a spot for our car in the small parking lot both days we stayed there.

The beds were too hard for us and our old hips.

hervorheben möchte ist das sehr sehr nette Personal, die eines Reiseführer gleich kommen. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, die Betten werden jeden Tag gemacht und man bekommt frische Handtücher. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut. In dem Ort gibt es viele Restaurants die fußläufig leicht zu erreichen sind. Ich war alleine mit einem Auto dort.

Great location. Nice Rooms. Great breakfast. Fantastic Staff We were welcomed by Tanya and she was friendly and very helpful. She answered all our questions explained so many things. It was our first time in Sao Miguel , she eased our minds. She also gave us wonderful recommendations.

Hotel je na skvělém místě, má krásný výhled a město Furnas je velmi zajímavé a člověk se zde nenudí ani několik dnů. Hotel je skvělá volba v poměru cena a kvalita. Pokoj byl velmi pohodlný a čistý, s obrovskou postelí. Velmi milí a pozorný personál, chutné bohaté snídaně, s výběrem místních sýrů a čerstvými lívanci každý den. Asi nejlepší hotel během našeho pobytu na Azorech, předčil i 4 hvězdičkové hotely, ve kterých jsme bydleli.
