Very welcoming, quiet location, easy parking. Clear instructions. The owner greeted me on arrival and also called me to make sure that I got the check in instructions correctly. The living room and kitchenette were in a shared/common area and there was another family staying but it was still very quiet and roomy.

The picture shown of the cabin on their site was not where we stayed. It was in the basement of the house. It was also shared with another family. We shared the living room and partial kitchen area. This was not mentioned until after I had paid for the room. The only heat source to the rooms were from a wood burning fireplace. Although I did not have trouble using it I could see where someone who was partially handicapped would have trouble retrieving the wood and lighting the fireplace. The location was great and in a very scenic area.

What a delightful place to stay. We were so content being there, I didn't want to leave. The fireplace and the whole space overall were just what we needed. It's clean, super comfy and the host so lovely to chat with! 5 star all around.

We were a little cold in the bedroom, but our sweet host gave us extra blankets, and so it was a problem at all.

No kitchen, so no sink, so no water for drinking. The owners put a jug in the fridge for water, but it was not enough for 5 people staying there.

Das Cottage liegt hinter dem Guest Hause in ruhiger Lage (Stichstraße). Sehr sauber und mit einer Größe, dass man auch gut seine Koffer unterbringt. Sehr freundliche Gastgeberin. Innen wurde vieles wurde neu hergerichtet und gestrichen. Es ist in der Küchenzeile alles vorhanden was man braucht (auffällig leiser Kühlschrank!), insbesondere guter Kaffee. Viele Wandermöglichkeiten und nur 15 Minuten mit dem Auto nach Chilliwack mit allen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants. Nur zwei Stunden Fahrzeit zum Flughafen nach Vancouver.

Der Tisch in der Hütte ist für gemeinsames Essen nicht gut geeignet (war für uns nicht relevant, da wir schönes Wetter hatten und draußen Essen konnten). Bei der Nutzung der Sitzgelegenheit der unmittelbar vor dem Haus stehenden Sitzgruppe oder der Feuerstelle (war bei uns nicht der Fall) durch andere Gäste könnte es zu Beeinträchtigen kommen.

Very clean. Well kept. Owner made sure to stock all the essentials and more.

The hosts were wonderful and made me feel fully welcome. This cabin is right behind their house and I never felt uncomfortable being there. They had guests one evening and told me about them coming and invited me for cake. That was super sweet. I'd definitely recommend staying at the Riverbend guest house if you're looking for a peaceful quiet family vibe.

The host had the wood stove lit for us before we got there. Nice and warm. The bed was comfortable, can't comment on the pillows as I always bring my own. The 3 nights were beautifully quiet. No trains , traffic, music or parties.

The bedroom windows coverings were bamboo, which looked nice but the early morning 🌄 made it difficult to sleep in.

I loved the little cabin, it was very comfortable. I stayed 2 nights in the cabin and moved into the basement of the house. That was a huge letdown. ☹️

Cold, damp, dark, overloaded electrical, couldn't boil water or cook breakfast, the breaker on the extension cord flipped 15 times. No running water at all in the kitchen and zero lighting in the kitchen area.

The wooden firepit added to the warmth of the house and created a cozy atmosphere. The host provided excellent service, making our stay even more enjoyable.

This is a hidden gem, gorgeous drive up to the house! Very friendly and accommodating hostess! Nice warm wood burning fireplace made it so cozy! It was nice and quiet at night so I Slept like a log! Thanks for a great stay!

Perfect amenities - clean, comfortable and everything you could think of. Perfect location - we loved being able to travel with our dog and take him down to the river several times a day (we could have done without the rolling in dead fish though lol). We love to fish and have saved this location for future trips!

What a nice and cozy place ✨️! The room was cozy (from bed over wall color to carpet floor), the bathroom was clean and had everything we needed and more! The place has a shared kitchen and living room space. Even dog-treats are provided ❤️. The host even lit the fireplace for us 🥰! She was really friendly.

Brilliant peaceful location a few minutes walk to the river. The unit had absolutely everything you could need and was very comfortable. The kitchen very was well equipped. Jess the host was lovely. She made sure we had everything we needed and answered our questions about the surrounding area then made sure we had her number to contact her at any time.

What’s not to like. It was a perfect home from home.

I like it’s a home-warm stay compared to hotel facilities and within walking distance to the river. It’s close to Chilliwack and Cultus lake.

The only imperfection I’d say would be there’s no phone reception. But there is internet so not too bad.

Jess and Jay were very nice. Jay told us of a good spot to hang out on one of the Lakes. He let us borrow one a beach chair. Really nice people.

The location was magnificent. The owner was so kind and helpful.

The property did not have a sink to wash the dishes, but the owner washed our dishes in her washing machine, so we had no difficulty.

The property was great! Close to tons of outdoor activities, a safe neighborhood, easy parking; lots of nature and easy access to town for any supplies we needed. Jess and family were warm and friendly and offered tons of recommendations about local spots; we made use of the barbecue which was fantastic and appreciated all of the small touches (like dog treats for our furry companions!) The bed was comfortable, space was warm and inviting, and had everything we needed for our trip. Would absolutely recommend to anyone!

The shared kitchen had no sink so you had to do all your dishes in the small bathroom sink where you brush your teeth…. For this reason I will not return to this property as it was super inconvenient. We specifically wanted a place to prepare meals so we did not have to eat out all the time but did not expect to have to wash our dishes in a tub outside like camping or in the small bathroom sink. The king bed mattress also very soft , might be comfortable for some but not for us

Loved having a yard to let the kids play in.

We had a hard time finding places to hang out towels in the bathroom.

The location is great right between Cultus and Chilliwack Lakes in a calm neighbourhood nearby the river. The cabin is cozy and well equipped, the patio is amazing too! The wifi is strong as there's no cellphone connection there.

The hosts were very friendly, warm, and welcoming. The beds were very comfy and the room lay out worked perfectly for our family. The place was also very clean and well supplied with many thoughtful touches.

It was a bit inconvenient not having a sink in the kitchenette. And there were a few very minor touches which would have made things a little better for our stay.

Beautiful property, clean and comfortable

Wifi wasn’t working well and no cell service so trying to get to make arrangements with family in the area was challenging.

It was clean and very easy to find. Also we had a long rainy day and were soaked. I asked if we could start a fire and they came right away and built one to help us warm up and dry our clothes some hanging in the closets. Very good hospitality

I loved the property

Peaceful and tranquil. They always go above and beyond to make you feel at home. All the essentials and thoughtful touches keep us coming back every time we visit Chilliwack!

The first night, I found the door difficult to open, get in, however Jess was awesome about me asking for help. Realized the step I was missing and never had an issue again!

This guest house was exceptional! Clean, comfortable, well set up. Our host Jessica was amazing. She took the time to greet us and help us with the fire place. She provided all the comforts of home. The location was about 10 minutes out of town but exactly what we wanted. Quiet, quaint, warm, and cozy

It is a little off the beaten track but the location was nice. It’s quiet there which made it a great place to get some work done
