Rixos Premium Gocek is not only one of the best hotels on the Turkish Riviera but one of the best in general. The location is spectacular, featuring a stunning marina view that makes for perfect sunsets, and the landscaping is incredibly beautiful—it feels like staying in a lush, green sanctuary. The service was world-class. A huge shout-out to Operational Manager Ibrahim, who made our stay exceptional. His hospitality and professionalism truly made a difference. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a luxury escape!
We spent a week here end of October and thought it was spectacular. Our room was beautiful and were were upgraded on arrival. It was near the reception so there was a little road noise but nothing that bothered us and we preferred this location to being near the live bands in the evening. The grounds are beautiful as is the position at the marina. We had sun bends easily each day although there were people going out very early each day to grab their fave spots! The food at the buffet was just amazing - a huge range and variety of food. We are not usually buffet people but we really enjoyed eating here most nights. Lots of healthy options and lots of local food too. Its not open lunchtime so we would hop on the free boat to the private beach and eat over there. The little cafe area has wonderful food where you help yourself, and we also ate at Azur lots where you can be waited on - the food was great in both. The cocktails at the beach were amazing as was the staff service for drinks around the pool which was very proactive. A minor issue was that there was only 1 bar open between 6 and 7 when people want pre dinner drinks, so long lines would form and there were not enough servers. The bar at Peoples should be open at this time to ease the pressure and provide better customer service. Also, the bar at the reception area is always open but never manned - we often had to wait there and the staff at reception ignored us until we approached them and asked to be served. We didnt bother with the paid restaurants - the weeks holiday was not cheap so to have these at extra costs I think is a bit too much - and the fact they were extra is not highlighted on the Tui website so we were not aware when we booked. We didnt see them being used much all week and we thoroughly enjoyed the buffet food anyway. The hotels in a great location just a 15 minute walk from the town along the beautiful seafront. The little touches at this hotel make a difference - constant top up of the mini bar, free sweets and ice creams at the pattisserie, and the free boat trip make this a very special place. Although whilst on board the free boat trip the staff were rude and didnt make any announcements or engage with anyone for the entire 3 hours. We travel a lot and were very pleased with our choice - we would recommend if you want to chill, have good food and relax.
Went to Rixos Gocek the beginning of November, first time in Turkey. Fantastic place, great location ad absolutely stunning backdrop all-round with no high rise buildings. On arrival the check in takes far too long, no need to explain half the things they do, you get an app, so let them use it. It's all about telling you additional costs, we go to Greece twice a year all inclusive 5 🌟 hotels and never had to pay for anything like Rixos charge for, the rooms are clean and tidy, nice bathrooms with a good shower, the food side is a massive let down, even the Japanese restaurant we ate in was average at best, and it cost an extra 2000 lira. Staff at the pool bar were excellent, and Ibrahim at the people's restaurant is a credit to the place, made every visit a pleasure. Unfortunately for us a sailing regatta was happening towards the end of our stay and everything revolves round them, they got entertainment we didn't until they arrived. I believe Rixos Gocek as just been bought out so I imagine things will change, if you do go, please take Turkish lira or euros to tip the good Staff, they certainly look after you and it makes a big difference to them, we noticed certain couples who moaned about tipping and got treated exactly in a way they deserved.
We had a 2 weeks stay October 2025 and it really was delightful. Never been to Gocek, never been to Turkey before so was a little apprehensive. No need, from check in, a seat on the sofa and a couple of G&T’s, an explanation of the hotel’s grounds and amenities, to a buggy ridden to our apartment. We asked for a ground floor, quiet, end room, which indeed we were allocated. The Lumin app is very handy and always answered promptly and professionally. The rooms are lovely from a re-stocked minibar everyday, crisps and coffee pods. The bathroom is quite luxurious but I felt the towels could do with being replaced now. Beds were comfortable and changed daily. We had a small terrace which would have been great with a couple of sunbeds so we could relax and sun bath at our room. The pool was lovely, but as at every hotel you go to towels were being put down early in the morning and then not being used for hours, not sure what the answer is to this issue. It wasn’t a major problem as we visited late in the season. The pool team were fab, as soon as the bar opened a different concoction was offered every day. Haken would ask me “a Jenny cocktail - nice and a Bob cocktail (a bottle of beer)”. The beach - it’s man made and reminded me of our golf bunkers at home! It’s very narrow and far too many sunbeds crammed next to each other. The staff work very hard to service everyone and the boat trip to and from the beach is fun. Was not for us but many guests did enjoy using it. The food - Breakfast is fine, buffet and self service. We are not a lover of buffet food for evening as we like to order and be served. The only options were People’s, which we were told could only be frequented 3 times per week. We did eat here most nights, but I guess that was due to being end of season and not that busy, could see it being enforced during high season. There are also Italian, Fish and Japanese restaurants , all with an additional charge. There is a patisserie and a Starbucks on-site. Ice cream and water fridges are located by the pool for you to help yourself. The only issue we had was in the fish restaurant, admittedly there were only 5 tables booked, we had to ask for a drink, cutlery, extra bread etc. One of the guest relations spoke to us and said we should be drinking Raki with the fish, we said we hadn’t been asked. The staff are most helpful and nothing seems to be too much trouble. I was a little concerned at the hours some of the staff were working, they seemed to be there from early morning to late at night. I know you can enjoy your job but you all need rest and a break away from the workplace. It’s all useful, and appreciated, to learn a few words in Turkish, even though the pronunciation can be difficult. I know it’s AI but please take Turkish Lira for tipping, a few pounds to us means such a lot to the staff. Would I go back - you bet I would, loved it. Thank you Rixos
We came back after a year and would still highly recommend this hotel, especially for couples who are looking for some rest and relaxation in beautiful nature, along with great food and service. We will definitely be coming back to this hotel again and would like to express our gratitude to following people for their great work during our stay: Turquoise: Mustafa Secret Beach Food Court/Beach: Zeynep, Ramazan, Sevilay, Ebrar People's: Kerem Starbucks: Hamza
We have just returned from our 4th trip to this wonderful hotel. We arrived on my birthday quite late and were able to have a very decent meal around midnight in Peoples restaurant before going to bed. Check in felt very rushed this time- perhaps the staff thinking we would want to get to our room asap - which we did but the Lumin app was installed on my phone and briefly explained. We went back to reception the next day to ask about a few things - for example how many times we could Peoples restaurant in the evening but we didnt get a clear answer on this. it didnt matter really though as the staff said we could eat there really any time we liked. The manager of Peoples is a really helpful and kind guy too. The Lumin app works very well and is easy to navigate- I was always answered quickly and professionally and nothing was too much trouble. We booked the same room type as last year but noticed immediately it was a bit narrower- it was on the end of the block- as we couldn't fit our wheel chair past it so had to leave it near the door. The hotel also very kindly sent a bottle of bubbles and a delicious cake for my birthday which was a lovely thought. The room was perfectly clean and modern as always but neither of is enjoyed being so close to the pool and music area so we were able to change rooms efficiently and without any hassle. All the staff at the hotel were at their usual impeccable standard -they really cant do enough for the guests. They always have time for a quick chat and a smile and are so helpful with everything. Food and drink were excellent -infact the cocktails were the best we've ever had there. Secret beach continues to be the jewel in the crown and sitting in the Azur restaurant for lunch really offers the best views in the whole resort. We have to mention Maher who is simply the most helpful, professional and caring member of staff we have ever met at any hotel -he really is the best and always had time to chat, check we were enjoying ourselves, explain something and generally take our stay to another level. He is just brilliant. He really did enhance our whole holiday experience. So we're home and thinking about our trips to Turkey next year- thank you RPG and the whole team
My wife and I returned to the Rixos Göcek having been there the same time last year .A lot has happened in a year there was a lot of new staff all over that didn’t know what they were doing, they had done nothing to the place in the time it closes down Even when we were leaving we were not approached and asked had we had a good time even though we waited in reception for half an hour for coach to pick us up Can commend the waiters on the beach that don’t stop all day ,it’s strange that you have to leave the resort to find the best staff Food was good in all the restaurants especially the restaurant at the beach was great Found the barman at the pool bar was pig ignorant he just ignored you as if you didn’t exist ,on the last night we was sat out watching the show to witch we tried to order drinks after an hour of trying we eventually got served only to be given a bottle of beer with no glass I then managed to mention this to the bar manager to which he then sent the girl back with a glass 15 minutes later .Can’t get my head around this being a 5 star resort and they give drinks out without glasses would I recommend this place No I had done the year before but not know it has to pull its socks up a lot to get to where they was the year before
Visited with family on their 3rd visit! What a wonderful holiday. Lovely surroundings, beautiful gardens, delicious food in each restaurant. Staff extremely friendly and attentive. Rooms clean and well equipped, maybe a little dated. Comfortable bed, very quiet surroundings.
We spent a week at the Rixos Premium Gocek in November 2025, after our original stay in May/June 2024. The hotel lived up to the same great expectations that led us back here for our second visit. I have stayed at other 5* resorts in Mexico, Egypt and Cape Verde and this is by far the best. Staff: Professional, friendly and attentive throughout the entire hotel, exactly what a 5* hotel should be. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The hotel itself: The grounds were clean and immaculately presented. All communal areas were the same. Exactly the high standards we experienced in 2024. Rooms Great cleaning staff - our rooms were always cleaned extremely well, amenities replenished daily. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, we slept incredibly well (better than we do at home). I forgot how great the rain showers are! Food Great food, plenty of variety, and the a la carte restaurants are well worth a visit. Will miss the huge varieties of salads and grilled meats. Boat trip The complementary boat trip is well worth the time investment. We went in 2024 and again this time. Plenty of stops for swimming, and lunch is included. Improvement opportunities: If we could give some feedback on minor improvements: 1) the music around the pool could be more varied. We listened to the same playlist every day. This was just our preference and it wouldn’t stop us from visiting again. 2) The lack of spoons in the buffet restaurant. As there are no spoons on tables, we would expect to see them available in the locations where spoons are needed (I.e., next to dessert). We had to visit the ice cream station to find a spoon for our tiramisu. Again, this wouldn’t stop us from visiting again, just some feedback that may help the flow of the restaurant. 3) We were approached often for feedback. This is great as the hotel genuinely want to seek out feedback to improve. However, we were approached by 4 different people in the space of 1 hour on our final day while we were trying to eat / play a board game. Putting feedback boxes / QR codes around the hotel might be an additional way to capture feedback? We did not receive so many questions last year. Thanks for a great stay! We’ll be back.
I would like to express my personal thanks to Mr Maher Babboudi Guest Relations Manager at the Rixos Premium Gocek for his exceptional professionalism and knowledge o fevery detail. He was always there to assist us ans made sure everything was perfect concerning our time at the hotel. We had a lovely holiday! Jennifer Hibbins
This was our fourth time to the Rixos Gocek and it will not be our last. The 13+ concept works very well for us and our teenage son. The grounds are beautifully tended and the hotel’s setting, in the bay, with the marina, landscape, islands and private beach (accessed by free and frequent hotel launches) is just stunning. The hotel staff work very hard to ensure the needs of all guests are met and in particular Mr Maher as Guest Operations is an attentive, professional and dedicated host. My husband has had several back operations and Mr Maher, acutely aware of guests needs, has always endeavoured to assist with our accommodation. The staff are amazing, but it is not an understatement to say that Mr Maher had made the Rixos experience for us. The restaurants cater for many tastes and the food is exquisitely fresh and well prepared. The two pools, one of which is sea water are both extremely clean and well managed. The private beach has its own bar restaurant and is simply a hidden gem. The private launches from the hotel grounds make you feel like a celebrity. With premium drinks as part of the all inclusive concept and skilled staff making any cocktail of your choice, you cannot want for anything more. Gocek is a ten minute walk along the water’s edge and is a pristine small village with a host of amazing restaurants and bars should one venture from the hotel. We will be back in the spring.
Just back from 7 nights in this wonderful hotel , I was a tad concerned when I read some of the reviews , however that soon disappeared when we arrived . Yes the weather was a bit mixed , and the mosquitoes a tad annoying , most folks seemed to have a few bites , but if you put on anti midge spray then all good . The food was first class especially the turquoise restaurant which was a buffet but for us it was excellent 👏👏 we did use the people’s at lunch time , again first class , staff were brilliant in both places . The restaurant at the secret beach was definitely the best and an amazing experience , loved the wee sea taxi which took you over . The cocktails were amazing , and the best I’ve had when on holiday , Special call out to Haken at the poolside who walked around tirelessly serving everyone drinks 👏👏. Also special call out to Maher, guest relations manager who was such a nice genuine chap , always checking that we were happy . The rooms were amazing and cleaned to such a high standard , honestly a fab experience, we will definitely return , probably go a bit earlier as understandably weather can be a bit of a hit or miss at that time of year . So if you’re planning to go then then you’ll love it !,
Wonderful holiday in this beautiful hotel. Our room was in block 18 and was huge, massive bathroom, huge bed and separate tv area with a sofa, very clean. Nice toiletries provided in the shower. Mini bar was topped up every day. We had fresh omelette from the turquoise restaurant in the morning which were great. We didn’t find the rest of the hot breakfast food great but that may just be our taste! Starbucks was great and Deniz was always very friendly whilst making my morning flat white - thank you! We didn’t really enjoy turquoise buffet in the evening so only used it once, the people’s à la carte was a great option which we used other times. Great food and service there. Both the pool and secret beach were great for the day time and we were very well looked after by the waiters at both locations. Branded drinks in all of the bars including 3 x different bottled beers was really appreciated. Lovely cocktails. The free boat trip was a lovely experience and I would definitely do it I visited again. The best endorsement I can give to the hotel is that since we have been here, my wife has subsequently booked to visit the hotel with her mum in April. Thanks for a wonderful holiday, look forward to coming again in the future!
We were new to AI Holidays, but when our friends asked us to join them in October we did not hesitate. I have to say it is excellent value for mone, the staff are brilliant and could not do enough. Mt wife has a severe food allergy but nohing was a problem. I would like to send my sincere best wishes to Maher, the guest relations manager. He was absolutely first class and his personal attendance to us during our stay was above and beyond.
It was wonderful Holiday. The foods and the drinks delicious. Secret Beach cocktails amazing. And also the A Carte restaurant Teppenyaki just try it. 😋 The live music at the evening in Nox Bar we enjoyed it. And the services really professional. The boat trip to the islands its a dream. We will definitely come back. The rooms very nice, clean and comfortable. Thanks to HK Manager Ahmet and Operation Manager Ibrahim. Thanks all the Rixos Family. ❤️
Location is really beautiful, the marina and the secret beach are really exceptional! Food is really good in the main restaurant, and the a la carte restaurants are also really good, for 3 of them you have to pay a surcharge per person, people’s restaurant and Azur are included in the all inclusive package. The hotel has an AI application that’s really useful! You could do your restaurant reservations through it, check restaurant menus, contact reception easily etc.. Our room was clean and nice, it’s also spacious enough and comfortable, but the furniture felt a bit tired and there was some dust here and there. The balcony was a bit small. The ground floor rooms have a big balcony though. The mini bar was replenished daily with different drinks and small snacks. The hotel in general is pretty quiet, great for a relaxing party free vacation, perfect if you’re looking for some quiet time, there’s some music shows or DJ at night in the Nox bar, otherwise no big entertainment program. The gym offers yoga and Pilates sessions amongst other things.. The staff are really helpful and friendly, from waiters to reception to guest relation managers. You always feel welcomed! The included boat tour was great!
This is our 4th visit to Rixos Gocek and have had another exceptional holiday there . Maher from guest services regularly checked in on the guests to ensure that their stay and needs were being catered for . The service at the beach is fantastic and drinks were offered and brought to you throughout the day . The sea bus to the beach is very regular and is a fab experience . We regularly used the beach buffet, People’s restaurant and the Turquoise restaurant where the food offered was of great quality and options . We used the gym every morning . We enjoyed Afternoon cake from the patisserie and cocktails or tea/ coffee before dinner . Room service , the room was attended to everyday - ( there is a makeup room button to select if this service is required) and the mini bar was replenished . We took the boat trip around the bays , drinks and food were available . Evening entertainment is music - normally live which we personally enjoy the bands that play . With UK flight return to our local airport being a late flight back our luggage was collected from the room and stored safely so we could use the facilities all day , freshen up at the spa, and have dinner and drinks sapping up every last minute of our holiday . This hotel and the staff make our trip here so relaxed, stress free and enjoyable and is definitely our go to for our beach break holiday the surroundings are immaculate and beautiful . Thanks to all the team much appreciated .Gocek itself is a flat 10 minute stroll to the small marina town where there are bars and restaurants and incredible boats moored and some local shops and boutiques - worth a potter into . Maher asked if it matched our previous stays - Maher it did and we look forward to returning
This was our 3rd visit to Rixos Gocek,so we had high expectations ,unfortunately it fell short.. We arrived on 6th October, mid afternoon, so was hoping to grab some food from the peoples restaurant but because they had the Oktoberfest on,they had food stalls outside,so ok we thought we would grab something from there but because there was hundreds of wasps and flies about landing on the food we gave it a miss, which persisted throughout the week. As regards to the food, the quality and temperature of it was not really good at all for a 5 star hotel.Plates were cold.. Most of the staff were pretty down in the mouth, they seemed to be run off their feet and forgetting orders. Not enough staff, don't know if this was all due to the rumours of it being sold.. Rooms were comfortable, grounds and surroundings amazing, so too was the secret beach,so beautiful.. Sadly we won't be going back again ,which is a shame as it was our happy place to escape..
If you want a 5 star hotel then don’t book here this is more like 3 star Service was very poor Quality of food average Maintenance non existent Came with high expectations but was dreadfully let down and will not be returning to Rixos We have spoken with management but nothing was done It is certainly not Rixos standard and not worth the high price you pay In our opinion all the staff need retraining They should take advise from the secrets hotel group which go above and beyond with customer service Beware !
Here now. Location excellent. Pool area and bar good. Room good and clean. Branded drinks. BUT. Restaurant like a cafe. Have to find your own table. Constantly have to ask waiters for cutlery or drinks. Tables not cleared quickly. Food very repetitive if over a week stay. No dress code. Evening entertainment worst I have seen in a hotel (rock bands!!! and films!!). Nowhere to drink after meals inside. I understand. Hotel is sold so maybe standards have dropped. Definitely not 5 star ( 3 star) except for location.
Stayed for four nights in September , reception and check in was superb First night we are in the turquoise restaurant , not so good. Booked the seafood restaurant , for the second night , was average , main course sea bass very dry . Third night peoples restaurant , was nice , probably the better restaurant. Last night we decided to eat on Gocek . I know a lot of people are passionate about the cats , however I am scared of them and didn't feel comfortable with them in the restaurant . The cocktails were lovely and service in bar area very good Entertainment shocking !! I do not feel we should have paid a supplement for the restaurants when you have paid alot of money to stay there already Secret beach was lovely
This is a 2-star hotel with terrible service! They are literally freezing their guests! We are currently in the hotel, room 1321. The temperature in the room is 17°C (about 62°F), making it impossible to stay here, let alone take a shower. We got sick on the first night! For the third (!) day in a row, the staff has been unable to solve this problem. They refuse to provide a space heater (we know for a fact they have them) and won't move us to a warmer room (which they promised to do, but didn't). They told us they had set the air conditioning to heat. When we returned to the room, we discovered they had lied to us—apparently, just to pretend they had done something. Nothing was set to heat; these air conditioners only work for cooling. The managers responsible for this awful service are Symbat Z., Yesim A., and Elif Y. ‼️ To make matters worse, they are completely ignoring our travel agent, Evgenia! She has sent them numerous emails, and it's total radio silence! It’s clear our problem is simply being passed from one shift to the next. We had to sleep in pajamas and robes under two blankets and were still freezing! Next, the staff. The staff is unwelcoming; no one smiles at you, let alone greets you. The only exceptions are the employees who work for tips—the waiters on the beach and at the evening music events, and the beach bartenders. The waiters at the buffet are sluggish and there aren't enough of them. Guests have to find their own forks and pour their own wine because you can never get service. The buffet itself doesn't live up to a premium standard, not even to a basic Rixos level. The food is very hit-or-miss. There's no salmon for breakfast, all the kebabs are undercooked, and the meat is impossible to eat… We are comparing this to our stay at Rixos Premium Saadiyat. It seems the buffet is intentionally bad to make guests pay for the à la carte restaurants. The only decent food was at the Azure restaurant on the beach (where they serve lunch). For the first time on our vacation, we had proper salads instead of the usual slop, delicious meat (lamb), and enjoyed excellent service. It's the only place in this entire hotel that actually feels premium. The "Starbucks" is one in name only. All the coffee comes from an automatic machine, and the basic drinks are tasteless. The only decent options are the two signature drinks, like the pumpkin spice latte, because those are actually made by hand. The "heated" pool was ice-cold. It's obvious they're cutting costs because it wasn't heated at all, even though it was advertised as such. It's such a shame that a vacation of a 3-star quality at best costs this much. To put it in perspective, for this kind of money, you could fly business class to the Four Seasons in Qatar for a week, all-inclusive. Rixos Premium Gocek has completely lost it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
I'll start with the very good . Beautiful location on the periphery of a fabulous Marina and only 20 mins from Airport. Pool areas delightful as was the pool service In the main, staff were very friendly smiley and the service was indeed excellent. So here's the good with some small issues.... The short boat trip, Secret beach and Azur Restaurant were a feature although blood was drawn after an attack by what we think was a small fish, quite common apparently . Also the Wasps in the restaurant were a complete nuisance and quite a spoiler at times. The beach furniture was looking rather tired and need upgrading Although we had a lovely meal at one of the restaurants, we were, like many reviews have mentioned, disappointed to find that there was a charge (albeit just £40) at 2 of the Restaurants which is not quite in the spirit of "All Inclusive" promise. Whilst the Peoples Restaurant was very very good with superb service The Turquoise Buffet restaurant was dire . In my judgement 90% the food was the same and of average standard ,fatty foods, fatty cuts of meat , bland salads no imagination shown with any Specials and this was the same Breakfast ,Lunch and Dinner so we hardly visited after first 3-4 days. Another indicator of the lack of imagination on the food front there were no theme or Gala nights like some top rated hotels offer. These concepts are proven to work well to mix things up offer choice and variety and in turn give the chefs the chance to demonstrate their skills and flair The Staff and Service in the bar was good, drinks range excellent but its layout does not lend itself to providing any atmosphere , conviviality or much social interaction, the Hotel essentially needs a smaller more intimate bar. The other complaint relates to the Entertainment which was so very poor ,moreover can you believe it , one night per week they put a film on in the bar area ,we thought it shows a total lack of application and understanding of what guests want which is a surprise as so much else is good I'm afraid. Of the 2 movies shown in the time we were there I'd say a total 50 people were watching as the films started However not sure there'd be anyone left at the end of the evening Although the sports facilities look good on the face of it, apart from the fitness classes in the gym studio area there was no appetite for organising any group sport football, volley ball , tennis etc. There's a certain fitness instructor who needs to make some effort and show some interest in what they do !! Overall an excellent stay, but areas for improvement in our opinion - expressed with a view and purpose of suggesting to the business how they can make The Rixos Gocek an even better resort.
An Almost Perfect Getaway! We had an absolutely fantastic time and would highly recommend this resort. The resort is stunning, the rooms are amazing, and the level of service from every staff member-from reception to the restaurant waiters-was exceptional. The Positives: The quality of the food and drinks was excellent, with a wide variety of high-quality options. We particularly loved the separate beach area and the friendly staff at the restaurant and snacks bar there, and the on-site Starbucks hut is a great touch. The rooms were kept well (but could have been cleaned better if I'm honest), but we had comfortable beds and a well-stocked minibar. We also found the resort's app to be incredibly useful, and there were always plenty of good-quality sunbeds available around the pool. The shower power was amazing which is very important when holidaying to help you feel fresh. Areas for Improvement: The main pool was an issue for my partner and others, as it lacks a shallow end, making it difficult for anyone 5 ft tall or less. We also encountered a persistent problem with wasps at the beach restaurant and snack bar on the beech. While the price felt a little high for an all-inclusive, this may be more of a reflection on the tour operator TUI being greedy than the resort itself. The shopping area of Gocek was nice, very relaxed unlike other areas of turkey where shop keepers pester, it was just normal which was great. If you get sea sick, Rixos Gocëk might not the place for you as the beech is a short boat ride away but that back and forth can impact some people, if you don't mind then it's a lovely short cruise and the air helps cool you down. Overall, our experience was excellent, and we would rate it a 9.5 out of 10. I'd most likely visit again.
Had read reviews and having stayed with yourselves twice before couldn't believe our previous Dream Destination had deteriorated. Sorry but it really let us down . Heard the place has been sold and was winding down which may explain some of the points. Firstly the pluses Scenery ,location AMAZING Some staff were extremely lovely especially reception staff and the young blonde lady (sorry didn't get name) -she's mainly based at People's and Azure. She works so hard and always cheerful -delightful lady. The boats to Secret Beach -service amazing! The staff at Pool incredible -pleasant and work so hard. Some of the food at People's very nice. Mini bar -free and restocked. The negatives Rooms not cleaned very well -floors filthy. Rubbish -dirty laundry left at our door for over a day. Some staff no enthusiasm or friendliness. Food at Turquoise appalling and cold. Plates scaped at your table into bin bags-not five star!! Put you off the food even more! Drinks at Turquoise awful! Getting offered a drink awful! Disappointed return clients. We always score 5 out of 5 but feel you should address clients feedback so hope you appreciate comments .
What a fabulous holiday - great location, great hotel and amazing staff and service. What more can I say - special mention to Ebrar who made our beach experience special as she looked after us so well. Also Ibrahim, manager of the Peoples Restaurant who went above and beyond. Esin and the blonde lady on roller skates - did an amazing job looking after us round the swimming pool. Everywhere was clean, quiet, and relaxing. I asked the Operations Mgr to stop the music round the pool and he did (most people have AirPods nowadays) which was welcomed. The introduction of an AI app worked well, information was easily obtained ie menus, direction as how to book etc. The service by boat to the beach was always quick and efficient and a lovely way to start the day. Easy walk into the delightful town of Gocek - all in all nothing to fault. Room was large with balcony onto garden, comfortable bed and powerful shower with plenty of hot water.
Almost a year ago I booked a Week's stay for Sept 2025, after reading a great review in a household magazine. Therefore I was slightly disturbed to see some negative reviews a few weeks before departure. I got in touch with the Hotel via email and after several reminders, they eventually responded at length to address my concerns regarding cleanliness and variety of food. Needless to say, I was slightly hesitant as to what I would find on arrival. However, I was pleasantly surprised and although I would not say the Hotel could be classed as Five Star, it would certainly merit a Four Star. My decision is based on the following comments:- Location Very picturesque. Blocks of rooms situated in very well kept manicured gardens located alongside water and nearby Marina, with Mountains as backdrop in the other direction. Gardeners were always present in the day working hard to maintain the grounds. Room Slightly old fashioned with heavy colonial style wood furniture. Some toiletries but no body lotion. Old hairdryer which broke and had to be replaced. As in most hotel rooms, no thought given to use of a dressing table for applying make-up and drying hair. There was one but tv on wall above and separate mirror in alcove above drinks tray. My husband cut his foot and bled slightly on the floor, I cleaned this up but it still left some marks. I mentioned this fact to one of the Managers, who said he would get the floor cleaned. When we returned to our room later, there was a fresher smell, but stains hadnt been removed and dont think the floors had seen a deep clean in a long time. Rooms were always serviced everyday, as long as the green light switch by the door was used. However, no mention was made of this at check-in and it took us at least a day to realise it was there. I wonder if this is why a lot of people never got their rooms cleaned! Restaurants Only ever used Turquoise and Peoples, as dont see why should pay privilege for AI and then be charged £20 per person to eat in one of the Restaurants. Although, some have commented about food in Turquoise, we always managed to find something to eat and thought overall there was plenty of choice, even if some dishes questionable (like Albanian Liver!!). Peoples was nice for lunch, good Salads. Evening meals very tasty if somewhat limited menu, which never changed. Never used Azur, but thought menu seemed very similar to Peoples. Pool Pools very clean and well kept. Always plenty of sunbeds. Great waitresses, who always on hand to serve drinks. Beach Very crowded, sand quite gritty and plagued with wasps esp around food serving area. Little beach bar nice touch and water taxi service very efficient and fun. Entertainment At best mediocre, at worse totally abysmal. Can honestly say the entertainment was the worst I have ever come across at a hotel abroad. Firstly, consisted of the same mixed tape playing most nights until the main act appeared, which seemed to get later each night. Heavy rock bands, which after playing for five minutes sent groups of people off to bed! Would have been far better just having pop music playing in the background! Boat Trip Our first booking was cancelled as problem with boat. Managed to book for few days later. The trip last 3 Hours with the Boat stopping 3 times for swim stops. We found the trip boring as scenery all the same and never went very far and didnt think we needed to keep stopping. Near the end very loud House Music was played from a speaker on the top deck, right next to the sunbed I was laying on, which gave me a nasty start! App A good idea and worked well, for making reservations at the restaurants and boat trip. However, if the AI couldnt help, it said would connect to a Member of Staff, but this didnt always happen and sometimes had to remind it several times. Cats As a pet lover, I dont agree that the Site was over run with Cats. At most times, you only ever saw 4 or 5 at once. I wonder about the Hotel's comments that they are sterilised, as one of the waitresses told us that one of the cats had had two lots of litters this year. I did feel some of them were quite skinny and wondered if they had worms. Fitness Only did Aqua Fit in pool once, due to pool being too deep and not ideal for us shorties, if you cant stand up while exercising. Wanted to try the Fly Yoga, but they changed the schedule. the day I was free, so bit disappointing. Overall, we liked the resort and found the staff very friendly and helpful. There was always plenty of Managers on hand asking if everything was ok. Food was good, even if not the best I have had on AI. Would we come back, no, but only because we dont like to go to the same resort twice, but try somewhere new instead. I hope they listen to recent comments made on Trip Advisor and improve for future customers.
My daughter and I had a week at this hotel in July and had a fantastic time. The secret beach via the boat is lovely and the lunch restaurant and bar area at the beach are great. We also spent a few days around the pool which we also enjoyed. The Al la carte restaurants were good quality but our only criticism was that you have to pay for these, with the exception of one restaurant which doesn’t seem right for a Rixos Premium. We did walk into Gocek for dinner on a few evenings to the local restaurants, which made a nice change, but you shouldn’t have to do this at an Al inclusive premium resort. We loved seeing the kittens on a daily basis and it was great to see that the hotel looked after them. Overall a great break and we will return
We have been to this hotel many times before and we love it, we have however noticed a few changes but maybe this is to be expected. You use to get a bottle of wine, treats, Nescafé sachets and nice bathroom accessories but slowly these have been removed from your room The rooms, beach, location and service is truly wonderful you cannot fault The people’s restaurant and beach Azure restaurants are really good, nice fresh hot food and great service all worthy of the 5 star rating for this hotel The main Turquoise buffet restaurant however is not good at all, each time we have come to this hotel we have hoped for a better experience but to be honest it has got worse. To explain the food is barely lukewarm, the food offerings are by far more like a 3 star experience, large containers of some sort of meat concoction not inviting to try at all, we went when the restaurant opened at 7pm hoping that that the food would be better and hotter but this was not the case, I chose salmon fillet and chicken and it was cold and tasteless, we did not use the buffet for dinner for the rest of the week. When talking to others guests they were in agreement and didn’t use the buffet either. We have mentioned this to management before but to be honest nothing changed even though you’re told that the relevant culinary departments will be notified. I do understand that they have to cater for many people and everyone has different tastes etc.. but dinner surely should be served hot! We did not attempt to complain this time just avoided the buffet for dinner I was however contacted out of the blue by a lovely lady from guest relations enquiring on our holiday, I did explain our concerns and she promised to send us feed back but I have not heard anything back as yet. This is quite disappointing as she asked us a lot of questions and we spent time on the phone discussing the issues which she seem to understand All this said we have enjoyed our visits over the past 3 years, we have heard that the hotel is either being sold or rebranded for next year, you may have noticed that you cannot book any dates for 2026, apparently the information on this will be available from January 2026
We stayed here in September and was given a ground floor room next the main road (block 15) and the road used by staff so on the first night the noise kept me awake and I was cold as no spare blanket provided so not a good start to the holiday . On arrival you are asked to down load the hotel app called LUMIN it was a useful app and guest services contacted us on day one to ask us if everything was ok so I mentioned the room noise and no spare blanket, the blanket was dropped off straight away and we was moved in about 3 days to a more quieter location which was appreciated block 17. Food Breakfast for us was not good but a lot of choice but lacked quality in our opinion. This was in the Buffet we felt there was inconstancies with service here in the evening especially finding a table no meet and greet to direct you to a laid table would be good here as we struggled to find a table with napkins and fully made up some evenings. I noticed that food was not always labelled. We really enjoyed THE PEOPLES Restaurant and would like to say thank you to Ibrahim who was a fantastic manager here and made us feel very welcome and thank you. We also enjoyed Azur Restaurant located on the PRive side had a good selection of tasty food. The Secret Beach we did not enjoy sitting with too many people squashed up together is not our idea of a relaxing holiday . We then wanted to pay for the over the water cabanas but at £400.00 for one day felt this was way too expensive but opted to spend £170.00 to sit on the sunbeds on the PRive beach (2 days). Photo attached of the water and Beer in a ice bucket ! Total chill and we really did enjoy our days here. The sun beds by the pools are so comfy too and the pools are lovely. The part of our holiday that really lets the hotel down is the amount of cats please Nueter I love cats but they broke my heart seeing how many were living here I had a mum and 4 kittens living on my patio I felt so upset leaving them behind . The hotel does leave biscuits out and water but I did not see this at the top end of the hotel and cats have their own territories so I did worry about leaving them to come home. Half the hotel is from the UK so why no English TV Channels on the TV. We were there 11 nights I would say 85% of the evening entertainment was in Turkish heavy rock music and one night on the big screen Basketball . I would look around and see most UK guests had left the bar area and gone to bed we were so very disappointed as we like to dance and enjoy ourselves. I did enjoy the day activities water spin, yoga etc until one really rude and unprofessional instructor really upset one day and I did report back to guest services on this and I have never had call to complain on holiday ever before about rude staff. I really enjoyed the Fly Yoga thank you to the staff member who was very patient and help me achieve the lifts. The bars ladies were the best so friendly and so good at their jobs. Yes we did tip but it made no difference to the fab service. The area is beautiful and we did do the free boat ride and thank you. We also enjoyed shopping in Fethiye and Sairgerme which as more tourists shops than Gocek. Would we come back here no but if you go you will enjoy. Special thanks goes to the excellent guest services who do try to help you should you have a problem.
Reviews can be full of praise or critical, but above all they should be honest. They are after all opinions. Some of the poor reviews that I have read are somewhat economical with the truth. We loved this resort. Firstly, beach is not man made, the sea is not dirty, the area was a little busy for us, we preferred the two lovely pools. Shuttle transfer by fast boats was every 15 minutes or less. Staff overall were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The buffet dinner was varied, excellent, plentiful and changed daily, apart from the salad, not much that you can do with a salad! Breakfast was also very good, not much variation but it was breakfast! The resort is spread out across well maintained grounds, hotels do not have to be multi storied. It is a very attractive spot with fabulous views over the marina. Our room was clean, spacious & we had a seated area outside well shaded by trees. The Starbucks coffee area was manned throughout our stay, in fact there was no provision for self service. We intend to be back!
A Chic and Relaxing Retreat at Rixos Premium Göcek after a week of celebrations with a group of friends in a villa. Imagine a sun-kissed escape where the turquoise waters of Göcek meet stunning landscapes—this was my experience at Rixos Premium Göcek. If you're on the hunt for a relaxing getaway, look no further. The complimentary boat trip was a delightful surprise, offering a serene way to soak in the breathtaking coastal scenery. It was the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure, allowing us to unwind while exploring the beauty around us. The staff, though a bit shy, were genuinely friendly and attentive, making us feel welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. Their warmth added a lovely touch to the overall experience. Now, let’s talk about the food. Each meal was a culinary delight, with a diverse array of dishes that tantalised the taste buds. From fresh seafood to delectable desserts, every bite was a pleasure. The grounds are lovely, featuring lush gardens and simple, low-rise architecture that create a peaceful atmosphere. The secret beach was a hidden gem, providing a tranquil spot to relax and soak up the sun, away from the hustle and bustle. As I sipped cocktails by the pool, I couldn't help but dream of returning next year. Rixos Premium Göcek is not just a holiday; it’s a chic retreat that invites you to unwind and rejuvenate. If you’re seeking a blend of natural beauty, delicious cuisine, and attentive service, this is the place to be.
The ideal spot for a group holiday—amazing food, vibrant pool and beach scenes, lively bars, and plenty of activities! The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, always making sure every need was met with a smile.
We came to Rixos Gocek for our honeymoon and after an 11 hour flight delay from TUI we were greeted by the hotel at 5am, the service was exceptional! Our cases were handled as we were driven to our room in a golf buggy, this made us feel so welcome. We spent our first morning relaxing by the salt water pool, we couldn’t fault the service, we were always offered a drink and greeted with a smile by Esin and Tutku, we will miss these girls! We enjoyed the buffet food and felt there was variety throughout our 10 day stay. We also tried the Italian restaurant called L’Olivo, the food was exceptional as was the service. I would recommend the Teppenyaki restaurant at the earlier sitting of 7:15pm as you get to watch the sunset over the boats whilst your food is being served. The evening entertainment is varied throughout the week, some English music and others countries music (I would assume Turkish and Spanish). Our room was modern and spacious and when we arrived there was special honeymoon decorations which were such a lovely touch! The private beach is a short 5 minute boat ride away and the boats are regular, the sea and sand are perfect, I would recommend going earlier in the day to ensure you get a perfect spot! We also got a Aroma Relax Massage and my partner, a Back Massage from the Anjana Spa and which was so relaxing and worth a trip! The complimentary boat trip was incredible and would recommend everyone to jump in the sea and that they stopped at to experience the blue, calm and warm sea! We’ve been here for 10 days and don’t want to leave, we would stay here for longer if we could! My only recommendation would be to bring some bug repellent as there are a handful of bugs/wasps around the resort however the hotel do have facilities in place to deter the wasps around the hotel
Çok sakin bir tesis
My partner and I had another wonderful week at Rixos. This was our second time there this year. The staff were brilliant, they were always very helpful and personable. The food was excellent, we didn’t try the speciality restaurants as we always enjoy the buffet restaurant. Much time was spent at the secret beach which is well served by regular charming boat pick-ups and drop-offs. We are looking forward to our next holiday at Rixos.
My partner and I had the most amazing stay at Rixos Premium Gocek, mid September. The whole stay was 10/10. The location is great, although you don't need to leave the resort you can walk along the coast into the local town where there are some great restaurants and shops. The hotel restaurants were all fantastic, even the buffet restaurant - the food all felt fresh and everywhere was clean. We particularly loved the all inclusive Starbucks and the frozen strawberry drinks round the pool. The boat to the private beach runs constantly from 8am and there are two restaurants over at the beach for lunch. We took advantage of the all inclusive 3 hour boat trip which again was fantastic, stopping at 3 points to swim in the sea. Being adult only we had no complaints about the atmosphere, there were plenty of sun loungers around the pool and no need to put towels out early as there was always plenty available. The fitness schedule was also great, with a 24/7 gym and lots of aqua and non-aqua activities. Staff throughout the resort provided great service and were all really friendly. Overall, we had a brilliant stay and would recommend highly to anyone.
This was our 3rd time to Rixos Premium & we weren't disappointed again, we can't fault our holiday, the staff, food everything 100% Definitely will be back next year if possible, Many rumours while we were their about what is happening to Rixos? We asked for a ground floor room due to husband having problems with stairs, which we were given Thank you
We were repeat guests, I say were as we wouldn't come back. We travel five star for our holidays and this definitely is no longer five star. We had to change rooms the second day as it wasn't suitable as I have mobility issues I misplaced a wallet in the room, we reported this to reception it had my ID pictured with all my details however they said it hadn't been found We returned home and received an email over two weeks later to say it was at the hotel. We were even charged for it to be returned £6.40 unbelievable as it was there all the time. Staff are not trained well sometimes the room wasn't cleaned at all. The food was disgusting in the buffet it really makes me think maybe the low price reflects a different clientele as this resort falls short of high end on every level it was nothing like our experience last year that was fabulous the quality was excellent then. The actual place is stunning they can't change that it's picture perfect It's just a shame the quality is three star now
I love this hotel . Its the best . I can give 100000/10 Thanks to the stuff specially mr Maher in relation manager. Until.we meet next year Thanks Rixox Gocek
Absolutely beautiful hotel with amazing friendly, caring staff and a lovely secret beach and pool The rooms are also stunning
I've just returned from this hotel and found it simply stunning. The location and setting is beautiful and the hotel itself is lovely. The tranquility and upkeep of the grounds is wonderful and the buildings and rooms are very tasteful and kept immaculate. The staff really couldn't do enough to help and ensure our stay was a delight. The facilities are great, the fitness team are fantastic and all professional trainers rather than just a team put together for the season with a few set routines to run though each week. I have to call out Svetlana, practicing yoga with her was amazing and help me to push my practice further, and the night yoga session was a particular delight. One thing I particularly liked was that that there are plenty of activities available but they are not pushed on you, it's very much up to you to take part or make use of the facilities as much or as little as you like. The secret beach is stunning, and the boat ride over great fun. As already mentioned the staff can't do enough for you, and it's no different over at the beach, however, I have to give a special mention to the amazing Ebrar who kept me well hydrated, I'm already missing her smile as she would ask if I wanted a Pina Colada after lunch, and sometime just appearing with one! If I am going to find anything to criticise it would be the main buffet dining experience, the food is fantastic but the main seating area could benefit by having the lighting turned down to create a little more ambiance. However, that being said the other dinning experiences offer this in spades. Additionally having somewhere to get an early bite to eat for breakfast at the beach would be nice. But all in all I really love this hotel and felt it was a great experience and great value for money. I will certainly be visiting again.
Beautiful resort in every way. Lots of amazing food and drink options, beautiful setting & gardens. Rooms are luxurious and fitness programme is useful
All the hotel staff were very professional, efficient and friendly. The facilities were excellent, this includes the gym, spa, bars and restaurants. Fantastic choice of food on offer all the time. The location was awesome with the village 10 minutes away from the hotel complex, for an evening stroll or shopping during the day. Private beach was one of the best we have been too, everything was thought of. Will definitely return to this hotel.

We stayed at the Rixos Gocek for 11 nights in September to celebrate my 50th Birthday. We stayed in a 2 bed suite as my daughter and boyfriend also came with us we had a ground floor room. The room was great with a interconnecting door both rooms had their own bathroom but only the main bedroom had a double bed and access to the balcony. The room worked well for us.Staff couldn’t do anymore for you they were friendly, helpful (i am only crutches ) we barely had to leave our sunbeds or seats anywhere to get drinks they always bought us drinks and snacks with a smile especially the girls on rollerskates they were exceptional!Aqua fit classes were also excellent for me really helping me in my recovery and the teachers were fabulous.Food - buffet was only open for breakfast and dinner, breakfast lacked in any kind of cereal which my husband struggled with as he loves his cereal and fruit!the buffet also wasnt great for evening dinner just not enough variety but could always find something.Lunch time could do with a snack bar or turn the patisserie shop into a sandwich bar and not everyone wants to go and sit in peoples or travel to the beach every day for a light lunch. The 3 a la carte restaurants were good slightly dissapointed with the Teppanaki restaurant find it to be slightly lacking in fun and was quite pricey and way too much food!the other 2 were ok and fairly good value for money and made a difference from Peoples and the buffet. We also ate out twice in Gocek which is lovely but very pricey! The boat ride over to the secret beach is amazing and both restaurants over there for lunch are really stunning 😍 Please be warned if you are not a cat lover you could possibly hate this resort as they are everywhere and sooo cute 🥰 The entertainment was poor in our opinion same thing every night just heavy rock turkish bands and a couple of english ones.Need to mix it up wih some belly dancers or entertainers or something different we was in bed by 10 most nights as couldn’t listen to it.Overall we loved this resort and has done what it was intended for rest and relaxation! We will be back thank you Rixos.Oh and dont forget to hire a Cabana was amazing and the complimentary boat trip is also great!
Fantastic hotel. With an amazing nature. The food was delicious. During our arrival the staff was very friendly. Especially Sevilay and Zharkynai many thanks for your kind service. The boat transfer to the secret beach was a dream. And also many thanks to Çiğdem, Mehmet, Emin, Rana, Ebrar and Abraham the operation manager. You are doing a well job. We will definitely come back. ❤️
This was our second visit and we loved it just as much. We requested a room in the same block and was given the room next door which was just as lovely, we thought that was such a nice touch and got us off to the perfect start. The staff are all very helpfull and friendly , and the grounds and area is beautifull. If you want to totally relax this is the place to go. I have never revisited a hotel before but rixos gocek is special for me and my girlfriend, we only have good memories. Thank you , Pete and Raquel.
So where to start, if I could give this Hotel an eleven out of ten for location I would, it is quite simply the most magical location Rixos however can't ruin that. My partner and I visited here August last year and had such a fantastic time, we booked again for this year we returned from a week's stay today. I am writing this still tired from the flight to say, if you are thinking of booking here as a return customer, read this review, the prices are still five star but the service and food score a two star. I have posted pictures of the food in the buffet to give you an idea of the offerings every night, it was an absolute disgrace. As you can see the five star ambiance is also lacking a vast canteen with bright strip lighting, no table cancels. Throughout the holiday we did not speak to one person that was happy with the hygiene in the accommodation or the food. It is hard to imagine that this difference could take place within a year. The staff had completely changed from the previous year, we recognised only a few they have been replaced with young staff that didn't t seem trained well, the room one day had no service at all, we had been completely forgotten. We took most of our meals in People's restaurant for our evening meal to avoid the awful buffet but the menu never changed it was a very limited menu, the food was better here definitely and also the service but it lacked any variety, it is also extremely difficult to book into as they always say it's fully booked, we booked before we arrived. The premium drinks are not served in the cocktails, those bottles are for show only you have to practically beg. My partner was ill with a cold and asked for a Martell brandy which was on the menu for three nights we were told they didn't have it, we could clearly see the bottle at first but that quickly got hidden and only emerged after the manager got involved. It is a traversy that this beautiful hotel has been allowed to drop standards this much. I spoke to many people who were virtually all repeat customers who said they would not return again, shame on the management who has allowed this to happen. On our last day we were approached by a manager in the buffet restaurant at breakfast who asked our opinion on the food and our stay, I told him we wouldn't return and said the food was a disgrace I said I would be writing a review to warn others not to be so let down as we have been. He asked why we hadn't mentioned it before, to be honest what was the point, usually I would be the first to express my feelings but they couldn't train the staff in our week away or order five star food for us and the decline was so evident we were told by the staff it was understaffed as they couldn't get staff. There were exceptions the pool bar girls that spent their days on roller blades taking drinks orders were amazing and the bar staff at the pool and beach were very good but the let down again was watching them rinse the plastic glasses under a tap and put back on the counter which really is very unhygienic and needs to be stopped. This did not happen at the beach they were all cleaned and polished. The beach lunch was good I couldn't fault that but this is a five star hotel it commands a big price but does not deliver in so many ways. There was many mentions from the staff that the Hotel has been sold this may account for the running down of the business, this was dispelled by the manager I spoke to but it is an explanation as to why it is on a fast decline. There are many wonderful hotels in Turkey and as I spoke to a lovely lady at the hotel yesterday she visits Turkey five times a year and she said this was honestly her worst experience of Turkey, I rest my case.
We have just returned from our 4th visit to the Rixos in Göcek and it won’t be the last. Please note that we were there in July but I’ve had to wait a few weeks to submit another review as we were also there in May. The location is stunning - we will never get tired of the boat taxi trip to the beach each day. The adult only element means that there is a relaxed feel with no queuing or having to think ahead. You certainly don’t need to get up early to put beach towels on the sun-beds at the Rixos. The service is excellent and for me this is the number 1 element. The staff are attentive, friendly and work so hard. Of course we have now built friendships and were pleased to see Elif, Mustafa, Ebrar and Hamza again and I genuinely think that they were pleased to see us which is nice. Ali (our favourite) has been promoted to Knox bar captain which is a well-deserved promotion. There are so many more staff members that I could mention but here are just a few names that helped make our holiday a great one; Buse, Ceylin, Esra, Azra, Ibrahim and Beycan. I cannot overstate how good the staff are, I always run out of cash as there are so many that I would like to tip to say thank you. At the end of the day, if you are looking for a relaxing holiday in a beautiful location with great service then you will be happy at the Rixos Premium in Göcek. As I said, we will be back…although we are hearing that it may be closed next year, possibly for refurbishment - what are we going to do!!
I had a wonderful stay at Rixos Göcek. Everything was perfect from start to finish. A special thank you to Mr. Maher and his team, who were always caring, attentive, and incredibly helpful. Their hospitality truly made the experience unforgettable. At this resort, everything is taken care of – you can simply relax and enjoy. The service, atmosphere, and overall experience exceeded all expectations. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious getaway.
The staff are what have made our stay exceptional. It’s like coming back to good friends and family. The guest relations team (thank you Maher) work tirelessly speaking to guests and checking on your experience. Services at the pool/beach and restaurants are all of a good standard. Thank you to Tutku, Berika, (our roller skating queens) Hakan and Ali for making sure our glasses were never empty. Premium drinks are served with an extensive drinks menu. This year we found the patisserie and ice cream shop. It’s so lovely. The entertainment is more set for Turkish guests, however, a couple of nights we danced our socks off to live cover band music. We have enjoyed talking to other guests in the evening, there are many places to take your drinks to and enjoy an evening away from the music. We understand that the hotel will be undergoing a restructure for the new summer 26 season and will watch with interest to see what happens during the winter season. We wish all the staff best wishes for the future and can only imagine this hotel being even better than it currently is. Location is key and this hotel certainly ticks that box. Thank you Rixos for a wonderful stay!
I really loved this hotel. There were so many positives and I’m likely to return. I travelled with my 2 teenage daughters and we had a 2 bed/2 bath suite. It was on the ground floor and we had a nice little patio. We were in block 10, which was closest to reception, but furthest from all the other facilities. I quite enjoyed walking through the grounds - which were beautifully kept - but it might be an issue for some people. The room was large and well-equipped. However, my biggest issue with the hotel was the inconsistency of the cleaning. When it was cleaned, they did a pretty good job; however, out of the 10 days we were there cleaning was missed on 3 occasions. Really frustrating and simply not good enough for this class of hotel. What annoyed me even more was staff arguing with me about it! Doubly not good enough. On our last day, the cleaners didn’t turn up until after 7pm - and only came because I sent messages, called, and eventually went up to reception. This meant we were much later going out than we’d planned. I found the staff in reception to be mixed - some friendly & helpful; others perfunctory at best (bordering on rude once or twice). Rixos, this stuff matters. This hotel is under your “premium” brand and the service needs to consistently reflect this. Now onto the good/great. The pool and beach areas are exceptional. Always a good choice of very comfy beds regardless of the time of day. Towels were readily available, as was bottled water. The big pool is lovely - a perfect temperature to cool off, without shocking the system! The pool staff were amazing and kept us topped up with delicious drinks throughout the day. They really couldn’t be better. Beach service was also great and the setting is lovely. We hired a cabana for the day - quite pricey, but actually really worth it for a day of luxury. The food was generally very good. Breakfast was pretty standard - plenty of choice with buffet food and then tea/coffee/juice served to the table. The same for dinner (waiters kept our drinks well topped up!). We ate in People’s for lunch, which was ok, and also at Azur a few times, which was lovely! We also tried each of the a la carte restaurants, which were all good. We ate out a few times in Göcek too. It’s a lovely little town with a great atmosphere, especially in the evening and is a short stroll away. This is a really good hotel. It’s very easy to have a nice holiday here. The facilities are great and the setting stunning. I wanted so much to give it 5 stars, but felt that with the cleaning/staff issues I just couldn’t. I’d love to come back, and hopefully by then my room will be serviced daily!
I came to Turkey three years ago and honestly wasn’t happy with the hotel I stayed in back then, so I wasn’t planning to return. A colleague kept telling me how much she loved Rixos Premium Göcek, so I gave it another try and I’m so glad I did. This turned out to be the best holiday I’ve ever had.🍹🏝🫒 The location is beautiful, surrounded by nature, and the Secret Beach is just amazing. The food was fresh and tasty with lots of variety, and I especially enjoyed the à la carte restaurants. The cocktails were also excellent and generously prepared. What stood out the most was the staff. From the reception team to the restaurant and beach staff, everyone was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. Their smiles and positive attitude really made a difference and made me feel looked after. The hotel is also close enough to the town for shopping and exploring, but inside it feels calm and peaceful. This trip completely changed how I feel about holidays in Turkey. I left with great memories and I’m already planning to come back next year. Big thanks to the whole team at Rixos Premium Göcek for making my stay so special! 🩵🩵🩵
We have not long come home from a wonderful two weeks at this hotel. The staff are so friendly and hard working and nothing is too much trouble. The grounds are immaculately kept and the whole place feels very safe. We had three large clean rooms and the beds were very comfortable. The food was lovely and the senior chefs were regularly out checking the food ensuring everything was correct. There was lots of choice and we did not struggle to find something we liked. We chose not to use the restaurants where you have to pay a supplement as this would have cost our group over £200 per visit as there were 7 of us. Esra was our favourite restaurant waiter who always greeted us with a huge smile and he tried to anticipate our requests as he got to know us. We enjoyed the People’s restaurant for lunch but we only used it twice for dinner as it was just too hot sat outside and it really needs some fans. We could never sit inside for dinner given the size of our group. The two pools were cleaned every night and despite us being a large group, we never struggled to get sun loungers near each other and most of the time next to each other. Tutku and Berika were such hard working and friendly pool waitresses who always seem to know when we needed a drink. We were able to get fresh towels as required and we spent most of our time by the pool as it had such a lovely atmosphere. We did enjoy our boat rides out to the secret beach and the beach and sitting area by the bar were very clean and comfortable. We went on the free 3 hour boat trip provided by the hotel and would definitely recommend doing it. We enjoyed the 3 stops so we could jump into the sea and would have been very happy to have stayed on it all day. The hotel app asked for feedback and I suggested that the hotel could have more waiting staff in the Turquoise restaurant and housekeeping staff. In the restaurant, the staff were busy serving guests and clearing tables and often we had quite a wait to request drinks and then an even longer wait for the drinks. We also had towards the end of our first week, some days where our rooms weren’t serviced until after 6pm which is too late. The next day, the assistant manager of guest services asked to meet me to discuss my feedback and I appreciated the fact the hotel looks for opportunities to improve. We never had an issue after this with the times our rooms were serviced. If you are considering this hotel and struggle to walk, I would recommend asking for a room in a block near the pool area, as all the restaurants and the entertainment are located near the pool. Whilst you can request buggy’s to transport you from your room, it is not easy to contact them to request one back to the room. As others have mentioned before, there are smoking areas in the restaurants and these are in the same rooms as the non smoking areas. We do not smoke and did not want to sit near smokers. In the Turquoise restaurant, there were 2 large round tables in the smoking area and non in the no smoking area. As we were a large group, we preferred the large table and when I asked if one of the large tables could be moved into the non smoking area (accepting that it could be in use when we arrived as there is no reservation in this restaurant), I was told this was not possible as there were more smokers than non smokers. I did suggest that they could just take 2 tables of four from the no smoking area to replace the table and gain one extra seat but no. In our experience, the majority of people wanted to sit in the no smoking area so it was sometimes a challenge for everyone to get a table and there were always tables available in the smoking area. We heard other larger groups complaining about having to sit in the smoking area, so I really do encourage the hotel to review their approach. We all agreed that this hotel is one we would consider going back to and we left for home very relaxed and disappointed to be leaving.
This is a lovely hotel, with great facilities and wonderful staff. We spoent 2 weeks at the Rixos and had a great holiday. The staff here are something else. Nothing is too much troubke for them and everyone has a smile and is very polite. The bar staff, the restaurant staff and the pool staff were just wonderful. Our room was perfect for ou needs, with 2 bathrooms, and a separate bedroom and lounge with a small patio. Food was excellent and anybody would struggle not to find something good to eat, either at brreakfast, lunch or dinner. The beach was lovely, and if you can afford to do it, i would recommend renting a cabana at the beach as it really is a good day. A special mention to Eray who seemed to work every hour but always had a smile and attentiveness towards the guests. I would highly recommend this hotel to those looking for a grown up holiday fir rest and relaxation. A couple of tips for those thinking about choosing this hotel. 1) If you dont like cats or are allergic to them then this may not be the place for you. Cats are everywhere. Didnt worry us particularly but might be an issue for some. 2) This Hotel is sold as Adults Only, but it isnt really. Its actually 13+ which means that there are very young children at the hotel, who certainly are not Adults. Again, not a particular concern for us but it might be an issue for some who think they are having a truly adult only hotel. A couple of minor gripes. 1) In 2025 there really is no excuse for allowing smoking in the restaurants. Yes the areas are separated but smoke travels and you can be in the non smoking area and still eating surrounded by the smell of cigarette smoke. We had to move tablkes at breakfast one morning as close by was a table of 4 all smoking at breakfast. Really should not be allowed in todays world. 2) Could do with a biot more "international" evening entertainment. Although when we were there, I would say at least 50% of the guests were british, and a good % of the rest were other European. Yet the evening entertainment was almost exclusively Turkish meaning it was difficult to engage due to the language issue. I understand we were in Turkey and that some of the entertainment should be local but some variety would be welcome. There was even one act who were clearly having a political rally of some sort. Finally a tip for the hotel. Given the isolated location of the hotel, and limited shopping available, I think a mini bus to Fetihye on market day would be a very popular thing for guests wanting to do some shopping, as the Gocek Market was tiny and there are not really any shops in the village.
The hotel is excellent the location is the best the service is sooo good and all the ppl who work are so good specially Mr Maher and I want to thank the hotel and the hotel owner Mr fetih bey ❤️❤️❤️🙌🙌
i have been to many places in the world maldives caribbean s asia etc i could not fault this hotel from the bedroom s , the chef Ali riza to receptionist yesim , the bar staff the young ladies on the roll skates all ways with a smile in the heat , the food is delicious, were ever you eat the dessert are to die for drinks are premium, i highly recommend this gem of hotel will definitely come back . thank you rixos hotel
Fantastic Hotel. We were very happy again here. This is our 7. time. The food beverage always delicious. Alican Musinali, Durmus Chef thanks for the great food. 😋 And from operation Ibrahim for the kind service. The staff very friendly. Thanks to Zeynep and Ayse at the Secret beach, and also Sevilay, Zharkynai from Guest Relations. All the staff are doing their best. Do not forget to book the boat trip. Its amazing. Its our 2. Home. We will definietaly come back. ♥️
We would like to thank Mehmet Altin, Kerem Erus and especially Durmus Külahli, Alican Musinali, Alican Gün, Selcuk Avinal, Ibrahim Ayvaz, Ebrar Soydan and the entire Rixos team for making our vacation unforgettable with their very friendly, polite and helpful staff as well as the wonderfully clean rooms and delicious food. We can only recommend a vacation at Rixos Resort to everyone. For those who want to experience a perfect vacation.
Rixos Göcek Review Our stay at Rixos Göcek was nothing short of exceptional — a masterclass in hospitality from start to finish. Arriving in the early hours, we were met with kindness and efficiency at reception, allowing us to settle in quickly and comfortably. The upper apartment we were shown to was immaculate, with two en-suite bedrooms, generously sized showers with excellent water pressure, and daily linen changes that added a touch of luxury. The staff were the true stars of the experience. Around the pools, Berika and Tutku were consistently attentive and warm — always ready with refreshments and a smile. Etiquette at its finest. At the People’s Restaurant, Elif was wonderful, guiding us through food choices with care and ensuring our dietary needs were met during each lunch visit. And then there was Ali, the brilliant pasta chef, whose culinary creations were as delightful as his personality. His tailored dishes made a real difference for our daughter’s selective tastes — a small gesture that had a big impact. Thank you so much. Cleanliness throughout the resort was impeccable. The manicured gardens and lush greenery made taking family photos an absolute dream. The sunbathing areas — from the saltwater pool to the freshwater one — were pristine and peaceful, with wooden loungers always readily available. A special thank you to Operations Manager İbrahim, who was always just a message away, ensuring everything ran smoothly behind the scenes. A big task, and one he handled with grace and precision. Rixos Göcek is a place that made us feel relaxed simply by being there. It’s the subtle, thoughtful touches from staff — the ones that aren’t mandatory but are offered anyway — that build trust and elevate the experience. Just class. We’ll be back — and we can’t wait. ❤️
A perfect week of flop and drop. The resort is peaceful even at full capacity, no rushing for sunbeds needed here! A tranquil and lush green resort and area, very clean, well maintained and modern. Food and Bev was up to a usual Rixos premium standard, and service levels were high, and most of the staff seem happy and motivated to help. If we were nitpicking the evening entertainment is very Turkish and I appreciate the guests here are around fifty percent Turkish so it makes sense but was one to note if this is important for others. We paid the supplement for the fish restaurant and the tepenyaki, both were good. Also used the Spa which was high quality in terms of massage treatments and doesn’t break the bank like some hotel spas. Would we go back, we think so, although for an adults only, would recommend taking kids as there were some very bored 13+ kids around who would have been better elsewhere. We have done adults only at the family resort of Rixos Belek outside of school holiday time and probably slightly preferred the larger resort (and less restaurant supplements!). A great week though, and another high quality Rixos experience.
Just returned from this beautiful hotel resort , having had the most relaxing and lovely stay with my 16 year old daughter. The hotel is absolutely stunning and the service of every single staff member that we encountered was impeccable. We loved the fact that you do not ever have to get up early to get a sunbed even in peak holiday period. The secret beach is so beautiful and the regular shuttle boats made visiting there so easy. The food and drink choices were wonderful too. We particularly loved eating at Azur restaurant on the secret beach most lunchtimes. Every day we would join in with the different Aqua fitness sessions with the friendly team and especially loved the moonlit yoga on the beach one evening. Gocek town itself is lovely to wander down into for a walk exploring the marina and various shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel also provide a wonderful 3 hour boat trip exploring the coastline and providing stop offs for swimming which we really enjoyed. Special thanks to Berika ( and the other lady on roller skates) for keeping us topped up with drinks and snacks around the pool. I would thoroughly recommend this beautiful place and look forward to returning again one day.
Amazing hotel ! The location next to the sea and mountains is spectecular, the staff were super friendly and welcoming. This hotel have very high standards and the food is even more amazing. Thank you so much for everything.
A Perfect Stay at Rixos Premium Göcek – Truly Exceptional! Our stay at Rixos Premium Göcek was absolutely unforgettable. The resort is a true hidden gem — combining luxurious comfort with breathtaking natural surroundings. From the beautifully maintained gardens to the crystal-clear waters and top-tier service, every detail was thoughtfully designed to create a perfect vacation experience. Special thanks to General Manager Mr. Mehmet Altın, whose leadership is clearly reflected in the excellence of the entire team. His presence and warm hospitality made our stay even more memorable. It’s rare to see such dedication and personal attention at a resort of this scale. We felt genuinely welcomed and cared for throughout our visit, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!
The Chef Selcuk and the whole team of the Restaurant People‘s (a la carte) with an exceptional menu, tasty food and unforgettable experience…acclimatisation in the dining room! The Exclusive Sports Club with great and professional team members organised very nice special events as Yoga night at the Beach and Jumping Fitness on the pier..
We had another fantastic stay at Rixos Premium Fethiye, and we are truly grateful for the hospitality and service that made our vacation so memorable. The staff provided every effort to ensure our comfort. We were given the exact same room we had previously stayed in upon our request. It was a lovely gesture that made us feel welcomed. A big thank you to Mr. Maher from Guest Relations, whose consistent follow-up made a real difference throughout our stay. His support and care added a touchable value to our vacation. We would also like to thank Ibrar, the waitress who served us at Secret Beach and Nox. She was always gentle and served us promptly with a warm smile.
Just returned from a week here as a couple. The resort is perfect for a quiet break with all the lovely touches that Rixos is known for. We have stayed in bigger Rixos hotels but felt that the service here is so much better as it is smaller so feels more personal. The food and drinks are exceptional, the Turquoise restaurant offers a great range of high quality foods and People's for lunch was lovely overlooking the marina. I have to thank Berika and Tutka (passion) for their amazing service at the pool, they were both so lovely and friendly and we were never without a drink at hand thanks to them! We also done the half day boat trip which was lovely ans even better was rhe fact it was included in our stay, Hamza who was on board offering drinks and some delicious snacks was also lovely. The seabus which took us over to the secret beach ran about every 10 minutes so we're never waiting long to get back or forth, it was nice that they had a different vibe over at the beach with a dj playing some chilled ibiza vibe music throughout the day, will definitely be returning to this hotel:)
On arrival couldn't fault; were treated very well & everything explained. Room was lovely a deluxe on the lower floor, pools were very nice. we visited the secret beach a few times taken by water boat. stunning & lovely drinks from the bar. Nightly entertainment was good. I would say this hotel is a very laid back hotel more suited to people wanting a lovely relaxed break or honeymoon, the buffet restaurant was only open at dinner which personally we found to be a disappointment hence giving 4 stars. The peoples & the beach restaurant were both lovely but I only eat certain foods & felt I was eating the same thing,(only my opinion ) as there is a lot of choice its just me. The service was excellent but I again will say the food in the main buffet restaurant let it down especially for a rixus hotel (we have stayed at others) assume this will have now been looked at as a few people did mention it to customer relations, so I wouldn't let it put you off a stunning location first class service. if sorted the main buffet would give 5 stars. would I return, in honesty just not for me a little bit quiet but that is my personal preference on the type of holiday I like but would certainly recommend to others & don't think you would be disappointed. I know a lot ask the food is 24 hour at the peoples restaurant other than dinner which you need to book again isn't the end of the world as you could visit a little later, but the food at the beach restaurant was lovely great service & stunning location also & there was a snack bar, I suggest you join the site on Facebook as it gave information on the menus which was really good to look at x
We have stayed at many different Rixos hotels and are aware of the standards and expectations they offer. However we had high expectations for Rixos Premium Göcek, but unfortunately, our experience was extremely unpleasant and disappointing from start to finish. To begin with, the electricity in our room went off multiple times—three nights in a row, leaving us in complete darkness and discomfort. We had many other issues in our room and were moved to another room with worse problems. Despite raising the issue with the staff, nothing was done to resolve it properly, and no real apology or compensation was offered. The attitude of the staff was dismissive, and we felt completely ignored and disregarded throughout our stay. Requests were often met with indifference, and any attempt to get assistance felt like an inconvenience to them. The manager was outright rude—not only unhelpful but condescending and unprofessional when we voiced our concerns. We were shocked at the lack of basic courtesy, let alone hospitality. There was no sign of proper customer service anywhere. For a resort that markets itself as luxury, the service level was appalling. We genuinely felt unwelcome and mistreated. We expected a peaceful, enjoyable holiday and left feeling frustrated and disappointed. Sadly, we cannot recommend this hotel and will certainly not be returning.
The best experience and best service , the staff are very friendly and helpful. I loved the secret beach and especially the boat trip was amazing.
Just returned from a week’s stay at this hotel. I accept that everyone has their own opinions but I don’t recognise any of the bad reviews. We never had a problem finding a clean table in the restaurant and always received prompt service. I don’t expect everyone at the hotel to speak fluent English but had no problem being understood. In short I would have no hesitation booking this hotel again. The only thing I could find wrong about the hotel was a broken toilet brush in the room’s bathroom!
Each and every member of staff delivers an exceptionally high standard of service, nothing is too much trouble. The restaurants, pools and bars are excellent and the design and location of this hotel are perfect, set by the marina and with forest views make for a relaxing stay. We arrived in the early hours of the morning - 4am and were warmly greeted and were even offered food (we didn't need anything) and a drink was provided to us. Our room was well appointed, set within the garden views made it very peaceful. The pool is very relaxing, with exceptional staff working extremely hard taking orders for drinks and delivering them to our sun lounger. Sun loungers were always plentiful no matter the time of day. The main buffet restaurant offered a diverse range of food, catering for a wide variety of tastes, it never felt overcrowded and food was replenished frequently so it was comforting to know everything was fresh. We dined in all the a la carte restaurants and they were all very good, our favorite was the umi teppanyaki which felt like a real dining event! The boat shuttle service to the secret beach is frequent and spending the day there was lovely with equally excellent service. We booked a cabana for one of the days and that was really special - your own private oasis on the sea. The butler service was also outstanding and nothing was too much trouble. We had a minor issue with the phone in our room one night - and how the hotel addressed the issue was fantastic - a mark of a good hotel in my opinion. The staff in this hotel really can not do enough and each and everyone of them have made this hotel truly exceptional - I will be booking again!
Beautiful resort a short distance from Dalaman airport. Good all inclusive options. Cocktails amazing. Included wine was poor. Food varied and tasty. Plenty of vegetarian options. Not sure why the need to charge a small extra for 3 restaurants. Buffet choice great but entire set up felt a bit less luxury than the rest of the resort. Rooms decent and clean. Ground floor rooms better for a place to sit out. Secret beach via included short boat was amazing and worth staying at Rixos for. Evening entertainment was high quality and enjoyable.
My wife and I have recently returned from this hotel, which was our first stay at a Rixos hotel. The whole experience was very good, friendly and attentive staff, excellent facilities and the room was well equipped with all you need for a break away. Food, overall good, the al a cartes a little underwhelming, people's was our favourite of the al a carte restaurants and we ate at them all. The tapenyaki was brilliant. The food was great, and the guy cooking/performing was brilliant and great fun. Azur was great for lunch, the secret beach, and the daily trip in the shuttle boat to/from it were enjoyable. The views from the beach are stunning. Entertainment was a mixed bag, a band every night, the African group were great and our favourites from the week we had there. Would we return, absolutely, and would I recommend the hotel? Yes, I would.
Where do I start - the hotel the food the service the secret beach the room and the staff ( especially mustafa at breakfast ) I will give a big 12 out of 10 , we loved this place and will definitely be back , when you can get magnum and cornetto ice creams on tap I was in my element, Top shelf drinks is always a bonus as well , we also did the FREE 3 hr boat trip which was lovely , you can also walk along the prom to the shops to stretch your legs and we did the market on Sunday , Also to see families sitting alongside the prom as you walk was very nice to see I have to say that I couldn’t find fault with the Rixos gocek from the moment we arrived to the second we left as Everyone bends over backwards to help you and are so polite .ooh I forgot to say that the swimming pool is a cracker but the trip over to the secret beach with its 2 places to eat and the beach itself is a belter , if you don’t want to walk the resort you can get a buggy to pick you up which is a nice touch, Also I nearly forgot the patisserie which does some lovely food and the best chocolates ( we loved them ) we ate mostly in the turquoise and peoples restaurant and if you cannot find things to eat here you must be really fussy as the food choice was spot on ,we left on Friday 11th July and had a relaxing and wonderful 2 weeks so all I can say to everyone at this place is THANKYOU
Wow, what a fantastic holiday, we loved every minute of it. There is nothing not to like here, the staff are so friendly & attentive. And they work so hard to make sure you have the best holiday experience. Such a great concept with the boat to the secret beach. Really great experience. Will definitely be coming back
Had the best time for 10 nights here, it is not like a hotel, more a village feel with low apartment blocks set amongst the most immaculate, stunning gardens. The staff are all so friendly with the best service. FOOD: we found the food amazing, from the main buffet, People's & Azure. we felt one more Al a Carte would be nice included. ROOM: gorgeous stylish & spacious with full size toiletries provided. Always cleaned well and perfect temperature. We opted for a ground level to have a place to sit out. We requested a block not far from pool, restaurant etc 27/26/28. Very comfy, large bed. Tea, coffee & mini bar. BEACH: This made our holiday, the little boat trip of 5 minutes was lovely, you never wait more than a few mins for a boat to come along to take and return. A stunning restaurant in the trees Al a carte or a more casual beach bar serving kebabs, salad, flatbreads etc. Comfy sunbeds and lots of shade to be had. excellent waiter service also keeping you topped up with cold water or whatever you liked. Ice creams and soft drinks to help yourself to all made it the most relaxing experience along with nice music, crystal clear water and a dj a couple of time which we loved. The boat trips are also a great addition, we thoroughly enjoyed both, particularly the sunset trip which you must book as soon as you arrive. We were lucky enough to be invited to a 25th anniversary party night on the beach at the Secret Beach which was absolutely brilliant. POOLS: Stunning, pristine, always beds at any time. Again, brilliant service from the bar staff. We never say we will go back anywhere as there are too many places to see but we both fell we will be back here & could definitely recommend which we also don't usually do. Thank you to all the lovely staff for making this one of our best :) If there was anything to improve i would say include one other Al a Carte Add a mirror on the dressing table in the room
My friend and I visited in June 2025 for the fifth time, we love the fact is a really chilled vibe hotel, quiet and no kids! We just wanted to have a few days on a sun lounger, good food, drink and sun - we largely got all that we wanted. The first time we visited was 2018 and as I said, this was our fifth visit over the last few years - we didn't visit last year so definitely noticed some changes that had been made. A lot of money has been spent revamping the main restaurant, the outside space is a lot nicer and it looks so much smarter and the inside space is better. The canopy around the main pool is a brilliant idea, no fussing around with parasols and as the sun moves you still get the shade and sun. The pool is beautiful and towels on tap! The grounds of the hotel as always were immaculate and the room was cleaned extremely well, a lot better than previous years - the only point to note is that we didn't get a turn down service at all over the 10 days, didn't really matter to us but I know that some guests like it. Two areas that I thought had changed were the secret beach, it was crowded compared to the pool and thought it looked a little drab. There needs to be more space for the number of people over there which is difficult I know but as you are so close together it feels a bit claustrophobic (in my opinion). The second point was the food in the main Turquoise restaurant, it just wasn't as good a previous years. Breakfast was brilliant but the evening selection wasn't great, previously we have had a lot of fresh fish like salmon, but not really any this year. Nothing felt very hot, the pasta was cold and stuck together and there was so much rice. The best night was when they did jacket potatoes which I know sounds "brit abroad" but all guests from all countries had them. Lunch at People's was beautiful, quiet, lovely view and the staff couldn't do enough for you. The cocktails at Nox in the evening were superb, a special mention needs to go to the team behind the bar who work so hard and do a brilliant job. The evening entertainment was a bit hit and miss, a lot of Turkish bands which I personally like but the bands that got everyone one up dancing played a selection of all types of music. I will return as I love the hotel, it's everything you want for a relaxing break - this review isn't a criticism but an observation and the changes I have seen over the last few years.
We were in Rixos Premium Göcek very happy. Very nice Hotel. The food excellent. And the secret beach beautiful. Also the Azure A La Carte restaurant was delicious. People's was fantastic. The Cafe (Starbucks) just visit it. All the staff excellent and fabulous. Especially from guest relations Elif, Carkynai and from the operations Ibrahim. Thanks for all the staff. We recommend this Hotel and we return again. ❤️
Our holiday really was amazing because this is such a stunning hotel - we had a truly wonderful time! As well as the outstanding hotel, pools, gardens and marina, the views were breathtaking - our room was beautiful & the food looked & tasted fabulous! The private beach was spectacular, simply paradise - and the 3-hour boat trip & sunset cruise party are both not to be missed! We went there last year & are planning to go there next year! I am 100% sure everyone who goes there will also want to keep going back! Nothing is too much trouble for the brilliant staff - they will go above & beyond for all the guests in any way they can! It has sooooo got the WOW factor! ❤️❤️❤️
Wanted a relaxing week in the sun and we got it! Not far from airport and was first drop off with Tui. Rooms spacious with robes, slippers, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle and a stocked mini bar with beer, water, juices, crisps and chocolate bar each day. Large bottles of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel - no body lotion but we bring our own but one day we met the lovely Operations Manager Ibrahim and he sent as a gift some to our room. We requested a ground floor room so we could sit outside but we got bitten alive with the mosquitos so didn’t really use it! Pool- split into freshwater and a saltwater - and loads of loungers - as others said no need to get up at silly o’clock to reserve. One of the nicest pools we have been to. Also the pool bar staff were excellent Restaurants - Turquoise is the buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner - it was ok but we preferred the food at People’s and Azur across at the Secret beach. You need to reserve People’s restaurant on the app (you also really need to have WhatsApp on your phone - handy for requesting things for room etc or any questions - you get a very quick reply and things sorted very efficiently too). Food in general was very good and having a Starbucks for free and a little patisserie with cakes and ice cream and the chocolate almonds were so good! Drink - all international brands included along with proper Coke and Schweppes tonic . The only thing that could improve was the wine - red was palatable and white ok as was the sparkling wine but rose was awful. Feedback was given about the wine to one of the managers. They need to have a couple of different whites and reds etc. Gym- various machines and some good classes like Fly yoga - we also nearly died trying out the kangaroo boots and hotel had an outside company come in to take these classes - good fun! Beach - only 5 mins on the water taxis - such good fun. We got there one morning at 9am and were first there - had it to ourselve for about an hour! Loads of loungers too and a bar and a food court as well as Azur. We preferred the pool but loved taking the water taxis over to Azur for lunch - fabulous view! Make sure you book the 3 hour free boat trip as soon as you arrive - you do it ok the app. It was really good - you stop off at 3 swim stops. We couldn’t get ok the sunset one unfortunately. We were also lucky to go to the beach party on the Wednesday night (attire is black or white). It’s was over at Club Privie - the boats took everyone across. A lot of effort put into it - great night! Love the boat trip back! The other entertainment was ok - mainly bands - maybe not our music taste but we tend to go to bed early. The town of Göcek is very pretty and a nice walk right along to the D Marina and hotel. Some nice shops and restaurants and cafes. We had an amazing week - the hotel is stunning, staff are friendly and professional and we would recommend this hotel to our friends and you!
We visited here on the last week of June 2025 and here are my highlights: -The structure of the hotel is not one chunky building but rather small buildings, which look like villas spread out around the campus and that helps to feel the nature even more. The campus is very green and respectful of nature. All you hear is birds and crickets. -They are also very cat friendly regarding the stray cats in Turkiye. There are many little cat houses and feeding points around the campus. -I cannot begin to describe the food. That is a whole other level. Anything we taste amazed us. It is obvious that the ingredients are of high quality (and locally sourced as I saw from a few products) and the chefs are at the top of their game. Food was the highest point of our holiday among other amazing points. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, deserts, everything was amazing. I could eat those simits like thousands at a time. We tried one a la carte restaurant (People’s – the only one included in all inclusive. Others are subject to additional cost) for dinner once. It was also nice but the open buffet was so amazing and changing every day that we wanted to stick to it for the remaining days. -There were really nice concerts in the evening. Not like “hotel activities”; real concerts and parties with local djs/bands on a proper stage. We enjoyed them a lot. All the employees were very helpful, friendly and cheerful. They seemed like they love what they do and care about you. They were all doing great jobs under that heat. -All the facility was spotless. Cleaning is very well taken care of which makes to feel very comfortable and assured. There were very nice sport activities that aren’t mentioned on the website. I would pack my sportswear (which I almost did) if I knew. -There is complementary boat tours almost every day for about half a day which is very thoughtful as it is a necessity when in Aegean especially in Gocek. Drinks are not b brands. I mostly drank wine in the evening and it was a very well known niche Turkish brand. -The sea and the beach were amazing. There is always availability. There is one restaurant a little bit up in the woods (Azur - within all inclusive) we tried once which is also very nice but we wanted to continue with the lahmacun, salad and ayran combo on the beach food court for the remaining days (as we missed them so much). -Adult friendly (+13) concept was a huge plus for us and made the holiday very relaxing. -On the last day, we got a hamam package from the spa (additional cost for the service. Daily hamam use is within all inclusive) and it was dreamy (quite literally as I almost fell into sleep). There are some negative points as well from my point of view which are not deal breakers but details that couldn’t live up to my expectations about Rixos brand in general. -There were no decaf coffee (and unfortunately I can only drink decaf as the regular coffee ruins my whole day), even in Starbucks on the campus. There is only instant coffee which I wouldn’t drink and doesn’t say Rixos. -There was no body lotion in the room. I would generally pack one and always regret because I always find in the room (even in the smallest hotels). This time I thought Rixos would have a nice brand of lotion but disappointed. I asked reception for it but I think they forgot. Then I told this to guest relations (as they are asking how it is going everyday). However it was in my room the last day. -I swim with these foam things mostly. Of course I didn’t pack one as it is very easy to find. I asked reception, pool bar, etc but they had none so I had to go the city center (not far btw). I expected that they either have a few for the customers in the facility somewhere or they would get when asked as they cost almost nothing. -I would expect better sun protection on the beach. Some beach facilities put additional fabrics on the parasols to cover from where the sun is coming. As I said, the negative points are only details and doesn’t effect the overall elegant, relaxing, royal experience. I would highly recommend and definitely go again. Huge thanks to all the employees who are making this a great experience.
Rixos Premium Gocek is an incredible hotel. We stayed for one week in June and I couldn’t fault it at all. It’s spotlessly clean and beautifully designed. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and check you are having a good time. The guest relations and reception team are very helpful. Even though there were lots of guests at the hotel, it never felt busy or crowded. We had the standard room and it was huge with a very comfortable bed. The shower is lovely and it has great air conditioning. The pool area is a good size and there are plenty of very comfortable sun loungers to choose from. There’s a saltwater pool and a chlorine pool which are both lovely. The ladies on roller-skates are brilliant and very attentive. They bring your drinks quickly and always ask if you want snacks. They have an extensive cocktail menu during the day and all the ones we tried were very well-made. The Mango Daiquiri was particularly nice! The Secret Beach is absolutely beautiful and the speed boat trip to get there and back is really fun. The water is crystal clear and fabulous for swimming. The food at this hotel is out of this world. The buffet, People’s and Azur are lovely and have a wide selection of choices. Azur has a gorgeous view of the beach and is shaded from the sun. The pasta dishes at Azur were delicious. We paid the extra to go to the three a la carte restaurants which was completely worth it. L’olivo Italian and Daidala are beautiful and give you very generous platters of food before you even get your starters. The food is delicious and the service is very quick. The prawn starter at Daidala is a must-try! The food highlight for us was a meal at UMI Teppanyaki. The guy serving us was excellent and put on a real show. The meal was amazing and plentiful. They only seat 8 people so it feels really intimate. Book when you arrive to avoid missing out! We also took a short stroll into Gocek one evening for dinner which I would recommend as it’s a lovely marina town. The entertainment at Nox the Stage was very good. The African Soul band were brilliant and had everyone up dancing. Another highlight is the complimentary boat trip. This three hour cruise around the beautiful 12 islands of Gocek is a fabulous trip. There are three swimming stops all in quiet coves and a well stocked bar on board. Finally, they take care of lots of cats at the hotel, it’s obvious they are well looked after which is lovely to see. Thank you for an incredible stay, we will be back!
We have just returned from this hotel where we spent 2 wonderful weeks. This resort has a very chilled atmosphere, no rush to get seats for meals, no queues for drinks, definitely no sunbed wars at the crack of dawn, nowhere felt crowded. There are plenty of very comfortable sunbeds around 1 large and one medium swimming pool, both pleasantly warm plus plenty of shade if required . The service is amazing, frozen drinks ,beer and water are regularly brought round by the extremely friendly bar staff, you can order at the bar or help yourself to water from the drinks cooler. We did take a couple of boats trips to the secret beach for lunch at the Azur restaurant which had beautiful views over the beach. Our room was very comfortable, plenty of storage with 2 wardrobes with hanging space in one and shelves and drawers in the other. The air-conditioning worked well and was very quiet. We had a ground floor as I have some mobility issues, which had a small private patio garden with a table and 2 chairs. We never had any problems with noise from the other rooms, even sitting outside was peaceful. The food choices were excellent and cooked very well, the only negative comment I have is that some of the food was not kept hot, particularly the chicken and fish at dinner and scrambled egg at breakfast, I did bring this to the attention of the manager who did deal with the problem, although this did improve, it was not consistent. This hotel is one of the best we have been to, the staff are wonderful, the grounds are beautifully kept and have some beautiful flowers and shrubs, the atmosphere so tranquil. A big thankyou to the staff who worked so hard to make our stay enjoyable. We returned home feeling refreshed, now we cannot wait to return.
One of the real highlights is the Secret Beach and the inclusive boat trips—unique touches that set this hotel apart and add a sense of exclusivity to the experience. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and very comfortable. Dining options are diverse, with multiple restaurants offering a wide variety of cuisines. The teppanyaki experience is a definite highlight—both entertaining and delicious. Evening entertainment is generally enjoyable, with live music on most nights adding to the atmosphere. That said, the Saturday night heavy metal band feels a bit out of place for the setting—something more mainstream might appeal to a broader audience. A more proportionate offering of English-language entertainment would also enhance the experience for international guests now that there are many more UK visitors. A special thank you to some of the wonderful staff who went above and beyond to make my holiday—and my birthday—so memorable: Emek on the boat, Erol at the Cabana, Hamsa in People’s, Elif from Turquoise, and Ergin from Azur. Your warmth and attention made a real difference. Overall, this hotel continues to deliver exceptional service and unforgettable experiences—highly recommended.
A hidden Gem! So glad i chose this place. Having visited Rixos Belek i wasnt sure if it would compare, but it’s a different type of holiday and not directly comparable. We arrived around 4am after a 6 hour delay (thanks TUI). The lobby felt a little stale and i was worried id made a bad choice. However, in daylight the resort is stunning. My partner said it felt like a ‘Swedish Retreat’🤣, as he is used to much larger hotels. The place is exactly that, a hidden retreat of calm! The building are all low rise and hidden by greenery. The pool area is beautiful, full of big cushioned sun beds. No sun bed wars, even at 10.30am it was empty. The secret beach is accessed by a boat. We never waited more than 10 mins for one and the journey takes about 5 mins. My only negative with the beach is smoking. The clientele are mainly Eastern European/Russian or Turkish, and smoking seems to be a large part of their culture. I had to go into the sea for ‘fresh air’ every 5 mins. The Azur lunch restaurant at the beach is nice. The Buffet is ok, nothing special. At breakfast sometimes they didnt have croissants (!), but loads of other pastries. It caters more to Turks/Eastern Europe guests but we always found sthg to eat. Thankfully the buffet had smoking and non smoking areas on the outdoor section. We booked a cabana for the day, around £180 and were looked after very well by Erol. Ibrahim the operations manager is a great chap, always checking in on you. If you had an issue im confident it would be sorted quickly. The bedrooms are spacious and clean. Only the downstairs rooms have a terrace. All other rooms have a juliette balcony but you cant sit out on them, bit of a let down. We visited the payable italian a la carte, it was ok. Overall we had a lovely stay and would return,
Our first visit to this hotel and it certainly didn't disappoint. Loved the location with its fantastic scenery and marina with impressive super yachts, very nice!. The hotel gives off a relaxing vibe, with no getting up at the crack of dawn to grab a sunbed here! For those wanting a diversion there is always the exclusive sports club offering a variety of activities. Food for all tastes from buffet style to ala carte. Staff an absolute credit to the hotel from gardeners, waiters, bar staff and the cocktails! along with house keeping and guest relations. Special mention to Mr. Ibrahim Ayvaz the operations manager who was on hand for a chat and for whom nothing was too much trouble, thank you We will certainly be returning, go ahead and book it you wont regret it.
This was just the most relaxing enjoyable holiday . The hotel is set in stunning grounds with fabulous rooms that were cleaned daily and toiletries and mini bar replenished every day . Plenty of sun loungers with very attentive bar staff particularly the girls on skates . There is a small boat that will take you to the secret beach which has white sand plenty of sun loungers and very attentive staff particularly Ebrar who kept me supplied with Prosecco and strawberry daquaris . The Azur restaurant provided lovely lunches with stunning views . The food in the people’s bar was great for lunch and dinner and also a late dinner . The turquoise restaurant was a great buffet style restaurant for breakfast and dinner with lots of choice . The staff are very caring and can’t do enough to make your stay enjoyable. Praise to Elif in guest relations for supplying me with plasters for my blisters . I would recommend this hotel highly for the best holiday experience. I can’t wait to come book and have booked for June next year . I spoke to people who come back regularly and I know why .
Amazing stay, beautiful hotel & wonderful staff, the only thing that isn’t 5* about this hotel is the food
Einfach super , es hat uns einfach nichts gefehlt
Great resort offering highly quality well kept facilities and accommodation.
All inclusive resort adults only. No on site beach. Beach is a boat ride away and (to me) dirty and cramped. Restaurant at the beach good. Main resort in spacious grounds. Rooms comfortable and had a terrace as on ground floor. Restaurant was buffet and could satisfy most requirements although heavily meat based in the evenings. Tables, especially inside, very close together. Two pools, one freshwater and one very salted larger pool. By the bar was a small 1 foot deep shaded pool which was great as weather was unseasonably hot. 40C every day (first week of June). Too hot to even walk to the local marina 15 minutes away. Air conditioned gym plus some equipment outside in shaded area. There was evening entertainment but a) so hot (35C) and hot wind made it uncomfortable. b) not very good but that is my opinion. All staff very helpful and friendly.
The staff is excellent and were most helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was first class and were very warm and welcoming. In particular, the GM Maher was very professional and checked on us often making sure that we are happy. Ms. Elif at the restaurant was most generous, kind and attentive.
All employees are very pleasant and very friendly I appreciate the help if Mr. Maher
Keyifli bir deneyimdi
