Absolut stylishes und auf Nachhaltigkeit ausgerichtetes Hotel mit einer gepflegten Pool-Anlage, schönen Zimmern und einem hervorragenden Frühstück - wohl das abwechslungsreichste und frischeste was ich je gesehen habe! Freundliches Personal vom Check-in über die Bedienung am Pool bis zum Service im Restaurant.

Die Zimmer sind hellhörig - man hört die Dusche des Nachbarn. Hat meinen Schlaf nicht gestört...

This is such a stunning resort, our favorite stay over 2 weeks in Puglia. The breakfast was amazing. The pool was perfect and the excellent staff greeted us with a complementary aperitif which was so nice after a long travel day.

La qualité et la propreté des chambres ainsi que le petit déjeuner.

Le manque de climatisation dans la salle de sport. Une toute petite clim dans une grande salle de sport rend la pratique difficile quand la température ambiante dépasse les 30 degrés.

Tout était parfait , la décoration, la piscine incroyable, le personnel très agréable, les extérieurs sont hyper bien entretenus, le petit déjeuner parfait varié, ainsi que la demie pension le soir.

La salle de bain, notamment la douche qui n'est pas au niveau du reste du resort. Véus le week-end, aucune activités, visite du moulin n'était disponible.

Very well maintained property, which feels authentic and connected to nature. Facilities are good, with a fair amount of activities offered to keep you busy should you so wish. Staff were excellent, but a special mention must be made of Giovanni. He was exceptional throughout our visit and is a big asset to the resort.

I had a great first impression upon arrival -- front desk staff was very kind, offered a sparkling wine to welcome me, and provided plenty of information about the resort. Gym well-equipped, staff at breakfast was very kind.

Unfortunately, the stay went downhill from there. The room was very basic, in serious need of renovation, and half of the electrical outlets didn't work. The wifi was terrible (constantly disconnecting/reconnecting from all of my devices) and the property was without power for several hours during one day of my stay. The wifi didn't work for several more hours after the power came back. I realize these types of things are often out of the control of the hotel, but there was zero communication or acknowledgment from the property about such a major and serious inconvenience. The gym was filthy (dirty towels and trash everywhere, no clean towels available for use) and there was no air conditioning (just open doors and ceiling fans -- not comfortable during the heat of August). My biggest problem, however, was with the lack of customer service. On the last evening of my stay, I inquired at the front desk about staying on site a few hours after checking out to be able to do some work and perhaps use the pool. I was told this is usually not allowed -- which really surprised me, as I have never been told that at any other hotel worldwide and I travel hundreds of nights a year -- but that she would check and send me a WhatsApp message to let me know either way. I had no message and assumed that meant the answer was no, but found the lack of communication and follow-through very disappointing and unprofessional. On my last day at breakfast, I was given a survey to fill out and I did so honestly and was immediately contacted by reception offering to let me stay a few hours on property. This was clearly a response to my survey rather than an effort to do the right thing by customers. I declined, having made other arrangements when I didn't receive a response, and checked out at the required time. Nobody at reception apologized for the issues I faced, asked how my stay was, or anything at all.

Exceptional local food. Very friendly staff.

The staff are a real asset to the hotel. Every member of staff is genuinely warm and attentive. Their local recommendations and willingness to go the extra mile create a welcoming atmosphere that feels personal. The food is another highlight. Breakfast offers an excellent selection of fresh produce, while dinner offer a range of delicious Italian specialities. The resort offers lots of activities. We loved the pasta making and the buffet evening. The pool was beautiful and relaxing. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the gardens well maintained. The family atmosphere was something very special. We would certainly return. Thank you!

Absolutely beautiful stay in Borgo Mulino a vento! We stayed here for 1 week on our honeymoon and couldn’t recommend it more! The staff are so attentive and friendly, the food in the restaurant is beautiful and the grounds are very well maintained. We particularly loved the bar and pool area. The resort offers a variety of activities such as pasta making and oil tasting. We loved the buffet on Friday and enjoyed tasting a variety of different foods. The rooms are cleaned to a high standard daily. We also loved Lea, the very cute Labrador!

Not a dislike however you would need a car to travel around due to remote location.

My biggest issue with this hotel is the value for money. Honestly, I felt misled. The marketing sells an experience that simply doesn't match reality. The photos are beautiful, but they clearly highlight the renovated rooms. When we arrived, we were given a very basic room that looked nothing like what was advertised. The gap between the online presentation and the actual experience is significant. The hotel is around 30 years old, and it shows. Many areas is dated and lacking attention to detail. They use terminar as resort and luxury, but this is nowhere near a luxury experience. If you're expecting a high-end stay, you'll likely be disappointed. The booking management was also poor. Communication was disorganized, and the overall experience did not inspire confidence but felt SCAMMED. The restaurant follows the same pattern: high prices for average-quality food. There's nothing particularly memorable about it, and it certainly doesn't justify the cost. The most frustrating part is that, for the same price, you can find much better hotels in the Salento region. If you're unfamiliar with the area, the professional photos and marketing might convince you. But if you know Salento and what's available at this price point, it's clear this property is overpriced and overrated. In my opinion, it's a 3/10—not because it's terrible, but because it charges luxury prices without delivering a luxury experience.

What an amazing hotel to start our trip around the Pula region.. Complete relaxation from the moment we arrived - greeted by friendly and attentive reception staff who gave us a tour of the hotel explaining everything along the way. The pool area, fabulous- lots of sunbeds and the pool is great. All staff are fantastic - nothing too much trouble. Restaurant is fabulous - breakfast has a great selection of food and evening meal just amazing. Tasty flavoursome food. Will definitely be back, As 3 days isn’t long enough in this beautiful resort.

Het personeel was heel lief en behulpzaam. Prachtig resort. Bij aankomst kregen wij een kamerupgrade omdat de kamers worden gerenoveerd. Kamer was erg schoon, vrij simpel interieur, maar wel heel netjes. Ontbijt was echt fantastisch! Ook een avond gegeten bij het restaurant, dit was ook erg smaakvol. De olijfolietour vanuit het resort was ook leuk georganiseerd.

Je hebt wel een auto nodig voor de omgeving. Het ligt in een vrij klein dorpje met 1 supermarkt. Wel dichtbij gelegen bij Otranto! Voor ons niet storend, maar wel goed om rekening mee te houden.

An absolute dream of a stay! The property itself is a stunning, peaceful oasis nestled in the beautiful Salento countryside. Here is what made our trip so special: The Intimate Vibe: Even though it is a resort hotel, the owner is always around, taking great pride in ensuring everything is perfect. This personal touch made the entire stay feel incredibly warm and intimate. The Pool & Grounds: The swimming pool is massive, deeply relaxing, and beautifully framed by gorgeous olive trees. The Food: Breakfast was a massive highlight! The selection of fresh, local foods and homemade pastries was simply outstanding. The Activities: Renting e-bikes from the property to ride into Otranto and down to the seaside was an absolute blast and highly recommended. The Outstanding Staff: Everyone made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. A special shoutout to Valentina, the massage therapist, who is exceptionally skilled! We would absolutely return in a heartbeat!

You absolutely need a car as there isn't much within walking distance, but it was fun for us to rent e-bikes for a day!

Amazing breakfast! Really great products and we had dinner at the restaurant twice as delivious and high end experience. A lot of history in this area and the olive oil of their own production was delicious too :) Would aboslutely come again in summer since the pool was just opening and we didnt have the pleasure to enjoy it.

This is our third visit and we are already planning our next one. Borgo Mulino a vento-resort è una struttura fantastica in mezzo al verde. Posizione strategica. Molti spazi nel verde e piscina eccezionale. La colazione abbondante e buonissima con molta scelta sia di salato sia di dolce. Tutto fatto da loro o comunque prodotto locale. Ottimo il ristorante anche con con prodotti del loro orto. Il personale è estremamente educato, disponibile e sempre sorridente ed il proprietario gentilissimo e pronto a farti sentire a tuo agio.

Borgo Mulino a Vento è una di quelle strutture in cui una volta entrati non vorresti mai andare via. Un posto incantevole con un'attenzione al cliente e ai dettagli di tutto rispetto. Tutto alla perfezione dai receptionist, ai giardinieri, ai camerieri, alle donne delle pulizie, tutti garbati e gentili. Il proprietario sempre sul posto ed educatissimo. Il vero pezzo forte per me è stata la colazione, un buffet di dolci e salato molto curato e vario... ho molto apprezzato che su due colazioni, i prodotti erano sempre diversi, torte fatte in casa, cornetti, pasticciotti leccesi, insomma.. davvero per tutti i gusti. Piscina incantevole, comoda e super pulita, mio figlio si è divertito tanto. Pulizia eccelsa, e servizi da struttura top. Grazie a tutto lo staff, ci ritorneremo sicuramente il prossimo anno.

Se cerchi un luogo dove rilassarti, l'hai trovato! Piacevole accoglienza, camere grandi e pulite, belli gli spazi esterni (piscina, giardini, aree comuni), ottima la qualità del cibo e valido il servizio in generale. Piacevole il relax ed il tempo trascorso qui, complimenti!

We ended up upgrading our room at check in and we were very happy with our upgraded room. It was spacious, light, bed was comfortable, nice bathroom. The resort is beautiful, pool area amazing, huge pool! Lots of sun loungers. Lovely restaurant and outstanding food. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend to stay here!

Sehr schöne Hotelanlage, mit Liegen und Sonnenschirmen um den Pool. Jeder Bungalow hat eine kleine Terrasse mit Tisch und Stühlen. Alles ist sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Betten waren wunderbar. Beim Frühstück wurde nachgefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Die Besitzer kümmern sich auch selbst, dass alles gut läuft. Große Auswahl beim Frühstück, Eier, Schinken, Käse, verschiedenes Gebäck und Brot, geschnittenes Obst. Überall sehr nettes Personal. Der Schlafraum liess sich gut heizen. Es gab eine kostenlose Führung zur unterirdischen alten Ölmühle und Verkostung des Olivenöls.

Räume sind ein bisschen hellhörig. Wir sind mit dem Auto die Umgebung abgefahren, Otranto ist sehr schön. An der Küstenstrasse Richtung Leuca ist viel Verkehr, wenig Parkmöglichkeiten. Da haben wir die Ruhe im Hotel genossen.

Beautiful interior, amazing breakfast and excellent dinner. Our room was big enough for two adults and one child. The staff there are very nice and very helpful. If you want a relaxing holiday and eating good this is the place!

We arrived in the hope of a quiet two days. What we received was fantastic, from reception where we were greeted with a fantastic Puglia smile and a glass of Prosecco. We were given a quick guide to the grounds and run down of breakfast/dinner and relaxation options before being shown to our room. The room was perfect, nice bed, bed linen and hanging space, great en-suite and a lovely open space to sit in front of the room if we wished to take in the quietness, or dark sky at night. Service was always exceptional, we felt like family. Food was great, breakfast really good with a vast selection of savoury, sweet and fruit, including hot if you wanted. Evening dinner was great, menu options really good and seasonal, if you arrived for breakfast early enough you’d witness the veg being dropped off from local suppliers. Special shout out to Daniela on reception!

הכל! המקום בבעלות משפחה מקסימה שגרמה לנו להרגיש חלק. קבלת הפנים בכניסה של דניאלה וכולם היתה מעל ומעבר לכל הציפיות שלנו. המקום מעוצב ברמה מאוד גבוהה ויש שם מחשבה על הכל כדי שתרגיש בנוח. ירד גשם ודאגו לנו לאלטרנטיבות ופעילויות ודאגו שיהיה לנו מה לעשות כל הזמן. המלצרים והשירות ברמה מאוד גבוהה, כולם מאוד רוצים שתהנה כל הזמן. האוכל היה מעולה, המיקום מצויין וליש חופים מאוד יפים, היינו שם 4 לילות, זה המקום הכי טוב שהיינו בו לאורך כל ה16 ימים שלנו באיטליה ובהחלט שנחזור לשם בהזדמנות הבאה שלנו. מקום מושלם!

We loved our stay at Borgo Mulino. The setting is gorgeous, surrounded by olilve trees and the quiet countryside. Breakfast was delicious - full of local specialties. The owners and the staff could not have been kinder or more helpful. It's a rare place that feels relaxing and authentic.

Since we needed to rent a car, we found the location a bit remote, especially from the hightlights of northern Puglia -

Great oasis in the Otranto area of Puglia to explore the surroundings. Comfortable bedroom. Nice swimming pool. Good food (we were half board). All the staff were very attentive and friendly

The hotel is brilliantly run. The layout is lovely. The pool is beautiful. The staff are charming. And the food is fantastic. We rarely stay at the same hotel twice but this may well be an exception.

Everything! Such a beautiful resort. The staff were amazing. We had a such a lovely warm welcome from Alice on reception who told us about the resort then gave us a glass of prosecco. We then sat down for lunch which was amazing. The pool was fabulous and you could always get a chair. The rooms were beautiful decorated and cleaned every day. As we had hired a car we only opted for breakfast. The breakast had plenty of variety and amazing home baked cakes. We did have dinner in the restaurant on our last night and it was the best meal of our entire trip. Anna was our server and she was very informative. We really wished we had opted for half board as the food was outstanding. If you are looking to book this little hidden gem make sure you book half board you won't regret it.
