Reviewed Sep 14, 2026Monika was fantastic for our whole stay. She welcomed us, gave us some pointers of what to do and see, and made delicious breakfast each morning.
Only downside was space, but that comes with such a great location and an older property. Bathroom was tight, and the bed was a bit small for the two of us. Overall, had a fantastic time!

Reviewed Sep 13, 2026The room was lovely. Guests also have access to a well appointed sitting room downstairs. Bed was very comfortable, room was larger than a normal hotel room, kettle with tea and milk/sugar a nice addition. Also, they offered a very good hot breakfast.
It's a little outside of city centre- maybe .5 to 1 mile outside of the main shopping district, depending on where you are going. I enjoy walking and the weather was nice. In bad weather it might be a bit far.

Reviewed Sep 6, 2026The guest house was not far from the city center, it was easy to get to ,only about 15 minutes walk from train station 😀, the place was very clean and we had a warm welcome from Patricia, she explained us everything about the place and gave us a map of Bath,our room was on the 1st floor, everything we needed, the bed was so comfortable . BREAKFAST was excellent 👌 cooked fresh 😋 good choice of fruit, yogurt, cereal and very tasty full English, lovely smoked salmon with scrambled eggs.

if i were being super picky it would be parking, parked in a park and ride which was only a 5 minute bus ride, location is a short walk from the city so this was to be expected, car park was £3 per day

Shower cubicle, Room and Bed was a bit small. It was ok for one night though and we got back late and tired so it wasn’t a big issue. If you’re a larger, taller couple I’d request a bigger room.

Reviewed Aug 13, 2026Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit 2 Schlafräumen für 3 Personen auf der Nordseite, was sehr angenehm war. Zimmer und Badezimmer sind sauber, das Frühstück gibt’s als Buffet und die warmen Speisen werden frisch zubereitet. Die Lage ist einmalig, 10 Gehminuten ins Zentrum und es gibt direkt vorm Haus eine Bushaltestelle.

Et surtout, surtout… un chef à disposition pour nous cuisiner un breakfast à la demande ! Un super bonus que je n’ai jamais connu nul part.

Reviewed Aug 5, 2026Room was spotlessly clean. Walkable to Bath City, parking in Charlottle st car park was straightforward, once the app was downloaded, lay by for dropping bags helped and there is a sneaky cut through to get to it.
Room was smaller than expected and bed very small and shower small for a 6'3 man and woman. More like a BnB than a hotel, so breakfast area was clean and had options and someone to make to order, on the lower ground floor, smaller cramped space. The doors banged loudly, so first guest up tp leave woke us.

Reviewed Jul 24, 2026Aardige host die mij ruimt op tijd de juiste informatie gaf. mooie en rustige kamer, ook al ligt het huis aan een redelijk drukke straat. Ik heb daar geen last van gehad. Goed bed en ruime badkamer. Makkelijk te vinden en dichtbij het centrum. Leuke gezamenlijke woonkamer.
Parkeren. Dat is tegen betaling, wel op een goede parkeerplaats vlakbij het huis. Het is wel allemaal heuvelachtig in Bath dus ook het lopen van het huis naar de parkeerplaats.

The direction and address we poor. Only the cleaner was at the property to meet us,no sign of the owner and she said he is never on site. We would never stay there again as the owner does not have any contact with the customers,very poor customer service.

We had a short stay but it was lovely and we were able to easily walk to all the places we wanted to see from parks to ancient ruins and river walks. The bus stop is also right outside the building. We felt safe and secure.
The bed was a bit hard and the room was a bit small but adequate and had everything we needed.

Unfortunately we were here during a heat wave and there was only a very small fan and no other cooling. This made the stay quite uncomfortable.

The room we stayed in was clean and had tea/coffee making facilities , it had everything we needed for our short break.We had a great time and walked for miles!!
The chairs in the dining room were very slippy... the floor tiling was very shiney and whilst that wasnt slippery the chairs couldn't grip it. On initially arriving at the property I thought " oh my goodness" cos the curbside appeal was a bit grim but I was pleasantly surprised as we entered the property, it has been very carefully thought through and was tastefully decorated throughout .

Reviewed Jun 21, 2026Wir waren schon das zweite Mal im 2 Crescent Gardens. Auch dieses Mal war das Zimmer wieder wunderbar komfortabel, sehr stilvoll eingerichtet und das Bett war sehr bequem. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker und reichlich. Man wird herzlich empfangen.
Die Straße ist bis in den frühen Abend etwas belebt.

Reviewed Jun 16, 2026Communication with the owner was first class - checked to see when we were arriving and gave us details of how to check in and where to park. The property is a 5 min walk from the car park and it is very easy to book the parking online. The room was extremely comfortable, black out curtains and a very comfortable bed, bedding, clean towels and overall a very clean room and bathroom. We slept very well as it was so quiet, despite being near town. Tea, coffee, water and biscuits provided in the room with various options. Breakfast was outstanding, with really good options of cereal, toast and cooked choices and the ingredients were first class. The property is within easy walking distance of the town centre and the Crescent. We would definitely stay there again!
The TV could have been a bit bigger but other than that, everything was perfect.

The host doesn’t live or work there. We were met by some very friendly cleaning ladies, and the next morning by a different friendly lady making the breakfast. In this respect it is very much a guesthouse and not a traditional BnB

Didn't realize it was that far from the train station, it was around 15-20min walk (which with big bags aren't fun).

Reviewed May 9, 2026It was a very stylish, smart, clean, comfortable guest house. The property was easy to locate with excellent,friendly communication from Giacomo. It was well situated in walking distance of the centre, and places to eat. We had a nice evening meal in the Marlborough Tavern nearby. Our room was comfy and well equipped and the breakfast room light, airy and welcoming. Excellent breakfast served by a lovely member of staff.
The car park nearby was handy but it was inevitably expensive.

Reviewed Apr 27, 2026Exceptionally good breakfast cooked to order. Clean, cozy room with very comfortable bed, pillows and lovely bedding. Friendly staff that went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible stay in Bath.
