Hotel Alley

Not nice

Cleaning

Was dichtbij lomparay bus vertrek punt ivm reis naar Ko phagnan. In een rustige steeg. Schoon en prima bedden.

Simple basic hotel ,very clean , comfortable , good location very friendly and helpful staff

Beliggenheten og betjeningen

Ikke noe spesielt

Good location in a small alley near the beach and train station in the middle of city

Service just ok, do not expect welcoming words or smile

Kein Lift

Pleasant hotel, excellent location, good price. Good sized clean room, kettle.

Room would benefit from a 'refresh'.

Comfy guesthouse on a quiet alley. A short walk to everything.

I felt at home ☺️

Friendly staff , good location in the heart of hua hin very quiet hotel , nice room with all you need , good comminication good valut for money .

The staff here are absolutely lovely. Great central but quiet location. I would stay here again. Recommend.

Sehr nettes Personal. Gute Lage. Ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Relativ sauber. Das Bett täglich frisch überzogen, täglich frische Handtücher. Preis-Leistung = sehr gut.

Excellent location, very close to the beach and many great restaurants, bars and coffee shops. The aircon was very quiet, as was the fridge. Although central the hotel is very quiet and that, combined with the lovely bed and pillows made for a great nights sleep. The staff were lovely and friendly and will definitely stay again

The wifi works but could definitely be better as not particularly strong, or reliable in the room. However, plenty of places close by if bigger downloads are needed. Also would not recommend staying with someone you don’t know well as the bathroom door is slatted and paper thin so little privacy 😉

Friendly and very nice host and staff. It is close to everything

Nothing

Good location, no street noise at night. Very good staff. Shower was amazing stayed at temperature and good pressure. Bed was comfortable.

The room I had with balcony did not have a view, only the neighbours wall. Was not a problem as it was booked to stay in the room. On the plus side of this it did give you privacy.

Little bit worn everything, but all worked properly, and nothing was damaged. Large room, quiet but in the middle of it all. Nice stay, would come again.

The location is perfect! Very quiet alley 2 min walk from the action or the beach! Large room with nice bathroom and very efficient AC. Great value, my room was 1100 baht for a last minute booking.

Wifi was under 1 Mbps but I was on the 2nd floor. Just used my unlimited data cell instead so not a big deal.

A very sweet hotel, the location was excellent, staff were great. The room was a good size, clean, a nice bathroom & they always supplied water every day.

But, the photos are outdated as the hotel is now very worn, it needs refreshing & a new paint job. The roof top is not nice, and does not look like the photos at all. The mattress was extremely hard, but we still managed to have a good sleep. Even with all the negatives, I would return to this hotel.

Location

Nothing ! All good

Great location, great price

I found the room to be very warm despite running the AC whilst in there. I also found the bed to be very hard. I would stay again however.

Easy and simple. Nice staff.

Prisvärt hotell, lugnt och centralt.

Stayed for 5 nights but wanted to check out after 2, the only reason I didn't is because I'd payed up front with agoda, my first floor room was directly above the kitchen, I was awoken every morning at 6.30am by the sound of crockery pots & pans & noisy kitchen staff chatting and laughing with friends and young kids. Another morning the domestic staff cleaned the room directly above me at 7.45am, unbelievable!!! But true. No consideration for guests who need sleep after a 20 hour journey from Europe. In general the hotel is OK, rooms are small but clean, location is ideal, just behind burger King. If you're not a early riser don't bother staying here.

Hyggeligt hotelværelse, meget rolig og alligevel central beliggenhed. Godt badeværelse. Ok morgenmad.

This is a nice cheap clean hotel close to the main Centre of Hua Hin. Room was clean bed comfortable and shower hot. Only downside no lift so if u have lots of bags ask for the first floor. They serve breakfast and have a 24 hour reception.

It's great for overall. Only one thing should be improved is air condition in room # 2. It was not cool enough.

Centrally located, 3 minute walk to the beach. Clean, comfortable and good value

nice basic hotel. value for money. Quite location. Pleasant staff, but little English.

Inexpensive Hotel, room pleasant but a bit dark, small narrow balcony with drying rack. Has fridge, kettle, bottled water, modern tv, ok internet and digital safe. Small breakfast included in room price, Staff pleasant and helpfull, but not much English. No Lift, good location, 5mins walk to town,5mins to Soi 80 bars, !0mins to Market Village.

Ligger i hjärtat av Hua Hin centrum. Trevlig personal något slitet hotell men kostar inte mycket. Lugnt fast mitt i smeten.

Nice small hotel with good standards and very friendly staff. Good location too

After reading reviews of the ‘ friendly and good ‘ services, we booked 2 rooms for 3 nights each during our recent trips. During checked in, we were told that only one room is available as the guests has not checked out and they did not get any response when contacted. We took the only room available and went for our lunch. We were later offered a bigger room for one night and it was situated at the top most floor of the hotel! One needs to walked up the steep stairs to the forth floor, which is very quiet, and on the second night ( chosed to remain for the rest of our stay instead) the lights were not on. When informed, the receptionist claimed that it was due to some upgrading and re-wiring of the internet but even when the wiring was done, it was still not on. I think they were trying to save on electricity . Of the 3 nights we spent, internet was near to zero, and zero for two days! Breakfast was just a simple toast, eggs, slice of bacon and small hotdog with coffee or tea and a small glass of ‘juice ‘. The person in charge is not at all friendly and will not bother to greet you ( rather us) perhaps they practice double standard seeing that we are Asian. That goes for the housekeeping lady as well, for they will greet other guests the moment they come down, asked how was their days, etc, smiling....it is no wonder the reviews stated that they are ‘friendly ‘! The Receptionist are okay, but should be more helpful and friendly....Housekeeping can be improved as sometimes towels not changed, drinking water not replenished and have to walk all the way down to ask for it. Tables will not cleaned as well as you can find some stains still around. The location is good as it is walking distance to all the places of interest nearby. I cannot say much if we enjoy our stays there as the whole place was in a mess when we were there due to the two days work of re-wiring and upgrading the internet, even outside the rooms. It will be good if they improve on the breakfast, housekeeping and PR, irregardless of guests, after all, we are paying guests as well. Yet there are many choices in Hua Hin and with the same rates, I’m sure there are many choices, perhaps better and treats all their guests the same.

Little hotel in a very quiet alley walking distance to the railway station and the night action. No elevator and steep steps - thus only for people without any walking issues. Room was clean and ok for the price. No view though. Breakfast is a joke - you can chose 4 options of one egg or a musli and you get 2 pieces of toast a tiny butter and one jam. jus is pure sugarwater. So really not worth getting up for. Not an issue in Thailand anyway since you can eat 24h somewhere close everywhere in this country. The only really bad thing was the Wifi - even so I asked them to fix it, I only had very little to no connection in my room. It kept going on and off and was super weak. In the lobby it was ok though. All in all - ok for the money but definitely not a honeymoonresort :-)

The young man who worked in the afternoon shift was very helpful and friendly. He provided us very useful tips in the transport that saved money. The hotel is not far to a street that’s filled with shopping and food.

Nice fresh rooms, very clean and quiet area. Close to seafood restaurants and shops. Great stay.

It was a nice stay. Clean room and big big bed so confortable. Toilet all furnished and nice shower Tv lcd with so many channels :thai, chinese, japan, italian, dutch, german etc. Staff very nice and good breakfast included. I suggest it and Thank you for all !

Location: in the city center. The breakfast is basic but good. The costs are low, everything is safe, quiet and clean. The train station and the beach are within 1 km each.

Small but cozy hotel for reasonable price with good breakfast and convenient location! We stayed for 1 night and everything was great! Definitely should be fine to stay for a couple of nights! PS. We arrived there around 11am and check in to the room (didn’t have to wait till 2pm) It was very nice,)

Pleasant hotel and facilities clean, bright & well presented. But our sink drain didn't work for 3 days - and the shower was a little hit and miss. Breakfasts were excellent, and the location was handy for pretty much everything. ......... Also very peaceful, as the Hotel is located in a very quiet minor soi.

Close to beach, clean, quiet, big bed, good wifi & TV, easy walk from train station, breakfast so-so.

All what you need for a great price, large rooms, good breakfast, helpful employees.

Modern & sehr freundliches Team.

The hotel is located in a quiet alley. Parking place for guests just 30 meters away. Fast check in. The lobby and ground floor is beautiful, made me feel home. My room was big with a very big bed and flat screen TV and a terrace. The breakfast was included and it was a choice of tea or coffee with eggs, sausage and jam. Close to beach and to restaurants.

The hotel is located at one of the alley, turn left to head to Hua Hin railway station and night market, Turn Right to Hua Hin beach. Staff are Friendly and helpful. Hotel feel more like homestay. Value for the price.

This budget hotel is tucked away in a very quiet alley, guaranteeing a good night's sleep. My room (room 5) was surprisingly large but only 30 cms space each side of the huge bed means getting in and out of bed is tricky. A small point. The bed is a bit firm, even for my liking, but I slept well with two good pillows, small but substantial. An afternoon snooze was disturbed during a brief heavy downpour of rain as the shower drain made a continual huge noise like a giant gargling. The shower/toilet room is small but very clean. The room is very clean and a fridge is provided with two small complimentary bottle of water (chilled) which are replenished daily free of charge. The door locks are the 'button in middle of the handle' style so if you dont remember to push it in as you leave, your room will remain unlocked. There is a wall safe in each room. There are has ample wall sockets with a double socket at the desk and two more doubles each side of the bed (you can charge your phone at night while being able to reach it, this is a point I always like, new 4-5 star hotels usually fall down badly on this). The a/c is good with a handheld remote (again, can use in bed). The shower is hot with good pressure (takes a minute or so to get to temperature, be patient). The towels are a bit threadbare and need replacing. Also if they can the hotel might spend a little money on thicker ones, which makes a huge difference in the perception of the customer in the grade of hotel. There are a surprising number of TV channels, with many in English, but the TV channel numbers in the room guide only bear approximate resemblance to the numbers on the TV channels themselves! Breakfast is basic but no major complaints apart from instant coffee and reconstituted orange juice. The room has no view as there is another building immediately next door but there is fairly good lighting in the room. The hotel has 14 rooms but no lift, and the stairs are fairly steep. There is private car parking for maybe 10-11 cars so I guess should be ample. If I was coming to Hua Hin again on a budget, I'd be happy in this hotel again.

Certainly not a luxury establishment, but 5 stars for what it is: a homey little guesthouse on a quiet road right next to the beach. Awesome location with very good attention to detail. In an industry where "guesthouse" has come to mean little more than "cheapest accommodation available," Hotel Alley does a good job of creating a very cozy, welcoming atmosphere.

Morgenmad OK. Venligt personale. I nærheden kan anbefales at besøge "Little Norway".

Clean hotel but staff very unfriendly, never smiled, never greeted you coming and going. The bed was hard as a rock which is typical Thai style. They did however accommodate me and put a two inch thick foam pad on the bed which made it much more tolerable. Good location if you'd like quietness on a very small street with no traffic. Three to 400 m walk to the beach you can be there in 10 minutes.

good staff

Great location, close to everywhere. Hotel facilities are OK.. probably needs upgrading. Staff are friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel if you're under a budget.

Nice and cozy hotel in a quiet alley in the center of Hua Hin. Everything you need (beach, nightlife, markets, tuk tuk and taxis, scooter rental, etc.) is walking distance. The hotel is simple but definitively comfortable and safe. Free breakfast is a plus (although it is not a big amount of food). Free internet was stable and fast. Would stay again.

The location is great. Mostly all places can be reached within walking distance.

location is good. Nearby have a lot of restaurant and other shops by walking distance.Hotel room is designed with the bright colour theme that you feel so relaxing.
