Cat Story Hotel

Apenas trocaram as toalhas e tiraram o lixo.

Solo il letto come dimensione e comodità davvero ottimo. Simpatici e intelligenti i gatti.

Nulla in particolare.

I love the cats The stuff is so responsive The location is perfect and near to a lot of good places

Hard communication do to language differences (not really a big deal) it’s manageable though

The cats all around the hotel.

The bathroom was not clean enough. The drain was clogged.

First of all the lovely friendly cats!If you are cat lover, this is the place to be. Location with 7/11,restaurants nearby,a stylish cafe beside the hotel.A/C was efficient and quiet.Internet very fast and stable.

Hard mattress like in most hotels in Thailand -except the 5*-there is no soundproofing and you can hear the traffic.

A lot of cats, and they seem well taken care of. Was great to be greeted by cutie cats when leaving the hotel and come back. Bed is comfy.

The hotel seemed older already. Water didn’t flow away properly in the shower. Our room was facing the road so we could hear everything from the outside as the window was not really sound proof.

The location, the cats were overall amazing. The washing machine was an amazing feature alongside the fridge.

The rooms could be a bit cleaner but it was nothing bothersome or extreme.

The friendly and helpful staff, the rooms, the location and omg, the cats!! All 15 of them!! So adorable!

Nothing

The cats ofcourse, the owner & his staff were also very friendly and hard at work always cleaning up after the cats. It was much cleaner than most places I’ve visited with lots of cats. The owner also gave me great advice for scooter rentals and places to visit. The cats were very well cared for, very happy cats 🐱

A little far to walk too Bangla road, but the location wasn’t bad, there was loads of restaurants, massage/beauty salons and shops very close by, if you have a scooter or you get a grab you will have no troubles. Also it’s a cat hotel so be careful not to step on the very rare puddle of cat wee 😅 but to be fair the cleaners did an amazing job, I was impressed by the cleanliness.

Room is very clean and cats are cute. Room has everything u need, even a fridge.

Most of these hostels/hotels are next to the road with little sound proofing, i was ok with my noise cancelling earphones. If you are sensitive to nice, try to be prepared.

We had a delightful stay at Cat Story Hotel! A friendly cat gave us a warm welcome and even showed us to our room - a unique and playful touch that set the tone for a fun stay. Our room came with a handy mini washing machine, which was a thoughtful amenity, so remember to bring your detergent if you plan on staying and using it. The elevator made accessing our fifth-floor room easy, and we appreciated the convenience store just steps away for stocking up on essentials. Plus, the nearby restaurant Doo Dee Patong served up delicious meals. The hotel's proximity to the beach was another major perk! Happily, the shower water pressure and temperature were just fine. We enjoyed our time at Cat Story Hotel and would recommend it to fellow travelers looking for a playful and convenient stay. The feline welcome was the icing on the cake! (And, yes, there were more than 10 cats around the hotel - but our personal feline escort was the one who stole the show!)

While there were a few minor quirks, like some wear and tear on the furniture and a missing shower curtain, they didn't detract from our overall experience.

The staff are so friendly and her love for cats really shined through. The cats are all adorable and huge compared to the UK. They will sneak into the elevator with you and maybe try to get into your room which is always a cute experience. The location is good, about a 10 minute walk to the beach and you’ll be at a good part of it too. There’s also a small washing machine in the room which is great!

Even though we found it comfortable if I had to be honest the room we were in does need some care, things around the room were falling apart and had some pretty bad stains

If you are an avid cat lover, this is the place for you! The hotel itself is very centrally located and within walking distance of good food and shopping, there is even a 7/11 outside and a cafe next door. The room even comes with a mini washing machine which is super useful when you are doing excursions throughout your stay in Patong. The main attraction was definitely the cats. All sorts of exotics to spend time with and give plenty of pats. They are gorgeous cats that love to ride in the elevators with you and they are a welcome sight whenever you come down in the mornings, or come back from a day out. Staff are also prompt, I had a minor issue in my room and a staff member came and fixed it right up.

Cleanliness was average. Only 1 roll of toilet paper (though not too much of an issues as 7/11 is right there).

if you're staying here you're staying for the cats. there were 10-12 cats in residence that were either very friendly or indifferent, but all were very cute. the room was a great size, with a small balcony overlooking some of the mountains. there was even a (very) small washer in the bathroom which was great to have in the room - with a clothes line on the balcony. room and hotel were very quiet. cafe & 7/11 on either side of hotel. tons of restaurants nearby on main street. short walk to bars and 15-20 min walk to patong beach.

it lists free parking nearby which is misleading, there is no parking available at the hotel or nearby. there is no lot available nearby, and you have to search for parking on the main street as there is none readily available on the street the hotel is located on. the public spaces (lobby, elevator, halls) definitely smell like cats, but you're staying at a cat hotel, so that shouldn't be a surprise. i didn't like having to leave my shoes at the front door to walk through the hotel to get to my room.

Well located near large entertainment areas, quiet. A long walk to the beach. Good room.

The king-size bed was very hard! Harder than any i have ever experienced. The requirement to remove shoes at the entrance was unique but somewhat strange for a hotel. Was this really necessary?

the Price was okay

not good for the cats and the personnel was not very helpful. also no soap in the rooms and bad beds

I found this hotel through doing some research online and was looking forward to staying here. I booked 2 nights through Agoda and paid in full. I received full confirmation of my booking via both email and text but when I arrived at around 8pm on my check-in date I was told there were no rooms available & had to find somewhere else to sleep. One of the staff was nice enough to give me a ride to a hotel down the road but even though they said they are new to using Agoda to get bookings I don't think not having rooms available that have already been booked and paid for is acceptable. Sorry.

Amazing hotel. Had so much fun playing with the cats. The hotel is newly renovated, the rooms are nice and trendy with comfy beds. All the staff are extremely welcoming. Very close to the main markets and Patong beach

Service very good Room very clean. every day we have a different Breakfast. 10 min walk to the beach and 10 min walk to shopping mall. they clean room and change bed sheet every day. also free coffee and tea all day

This year we spent our 2 week holiday 2nd time here with my husband. Nice, very clean, comfortable, good located hotel for good price. Staff is really friendly and helpful! Here we could leave our staff in the room, and were shure they will be there when we go back! They also have loundry service. Absolutely recommended! I hope we can go back there! Just felt like home :-)

We stayed at the Silk View Hotel on Soi Nanai 8 in Patong. Nice little hotel, friendly staff and nice rooms too. They tried to make the rooms nice with cool decoration. They also have an elevator which is a good thing as some hotels don't have one. Price is very good too, a good deal for Phuket. There is a café downstairs with good food and italien coffee.

What can I say..., I don't want to write a typical review. So I'll say that this place really became a home for us. We felt like a big family, always a pleasure to see the staff smiling each day, laughing, talking. Good service, cleaning everyday, everything was just fine! Everything you need is by reach of a hand, 7/11 right next door, family mart, hair salon, food spots, pharmacy, anything you need. And just 15-20 mins walk from the beach and Bangla road! Clean and spacious rooms, quiet, trendy and simply amazing for the price! We really didn't want to leave, made friends with the staff, and our sweet cats and dogs there are really missed! A huge thanks to the girls from the reception, and to the owners of the hotel for such a warm welcome and a friendly staff! We will definitely be back next year! Thank you all so much!

We were happy with our rooms at The Silk View hotel in Patong. Small hotel but very nice rooms and price is very low. Nice staff, people speak english, big flat screen tv, lift, good air condioning A good hotel to stay for a fair price compared to hotels nearby who don't offer the same services we found there. Nice little café near the reception.

I discovered this hotel by a friend. This is a real good deal, prices are good, location is fine, staff are adorable. Rooms are clean, moderns and confortables. All facilities are very close. You can find a little bar the evening too. A place to discover!

With friends, we had a great stay at The Silk View Hotel in Patong Beach on Soi Nanai 8. Clean hotel and nice rooms, big tv, nice elevator, good wifi, friendly staff. A nice little hotel, they also have a bar downstairs with cheap prices for drinks and a coffee shop with real italian coffee.

Went back to The Silk View Hotel in Patong, still great hotel and very affordable for this kind of hotel. They now have a nice coffee shop downstairs with good italian coffee (Illy coffee). Rooms are clean, good wifi and friendly staff. Wil return again next year for sure !

very nice small hotel, cheap prise, my room was very clean and new(witch is rare in patong hotels). the location is perfect and the little bar downstairs is really friendly. nice and polite staff, perfect!!

Happy place in patong with little bar in front of the reception, not too far from bangla road (2 min with motorbike) Rooms are clean and beautiful, very good bed for good sleep... Lift available so you don't need to make sport to go back in your room ^^

Although about 10 minutes walk to the beach, this very clean hotel is great for a good nights sleep without the noise. King sized bed, hot showers, room made up without asking every day and guest friendly. Definitely recommend!

As soon as I stepped into the hotel I can sense that it was a really nice place with a really pleasant receptionist who was able to help me out on where to go out drinking as I arrived at 11pm and was leaving again for the ferry to Phi Phi at 7am. The room was absolutely beautiful with an ensuite bathroom, air con, complimentary water and a lot of other things that you would have to pay for from the mini fridge. They have a complimentary tea etc that you can help yourself to whenever you want along with computers too. It was a shame I wasn't staying here long as I really enjoyed my few hour here and I defiantly recommend staying here if you come Phucket!!

Stayed at The Silk View Hotel in Patong Beach on Soi Nanai 8 for a week. Very nice little hotel with friendly staff. Nicely decorated, elevator, free coffee and tea in the lobby, free wifi everywhere! I also rent a motorbike for a good price. Comfortable bed, big flat screen tv. There is a lot of restaurants and shops nearby and good massages at Mulberry Massage just a few steps away. Good room rates for this kind of hotel. Recommend.

Good price for Patong Beach, clean rooms, good location for this city, only five minutes walk from the beach and there is one 7eleven just downstair also the staff is very nice. 10/10 I will come back again.

Stayed in standard room (room 44) facing the hills instead of the main road for 3nights on 7th to 10th Feb 2015. Im so surprised reading negative reviews about this hotel. Below are my personal review on this hotel. Standard room is quite spacious for me & my husband and it is very clean! I remember i paid only about USD 150 for 3 nights. Housekeeping will be done everyday and one of the day i was still in the room. They did what they supposed to do and mopped the floor too. Hot & cold shower works perfectly. Be careful of the shower curtain as it fell few times on me when i handle it hard as the curtain is not screwed to the wall. There is no electric kettle in the room but you can make your coffee and tea at the lobby for free. And there is free bread, bread spread & toaster for breakfast too. Big fridge. There is no hairdryer & iron in the room but u may request for it from the staff. Laundry will be 50b/kg, the price is the same with those laundry service you will find in the entire Patong and some places charge 60b/kg. Location wise is quite far from the busy area of Patong yet u can find all the necessity like family mart, 7-11, gasoline few steps away from the hotel. Few massage parlors can be found near hotel too but i recommend you guys go to those near the beach area as it will be cheaper for same service. We have no problem with the location as we rent a bike from the hotel (too lazy to find other bike rental companies where i believe can get a cheaper rate) for 250b/day to roam around. Walking distance from the hotel to Junceylon is about 10-15mins. You will find the staff quite unfriendly in the first place but when u start talking to them you will find them nice & helpful. My return flight was at 10pm and we went for our last island tour on the same day. So we checked out early at 8am and leave our luggage at the lobby. When we are back from our island tour, the staff allow us to use their personal bathroom to shower for no extra charges! That was so nice of them.

Overpriced and far from the beach. Impossible to cancel the stay. Stay away, many nice hotels for lower price. On a noisy street, and very far from everything. They charged us 40 dollars, and hotel next door charges 20 for the same room.

Superior bedroom was ok. Clean and renew not a long time. The bathroom is totally different and looking dirty. Was missing some basic staff like hairdryer or towels. The hotel is well located in a quiet area but.... Not isolated ! You can hear everything and it's really noisy during the night. The personnel is unprofessional. They don't say hello, not a smile, and always drinking in the hotel bar unless to help customers...

This hotel had a good location. Nice. Quiet of a night when youre sleeping. The staff were friendly an happy to join you for a drink. It's close to local resturants. The room was a tad small for 3 of us but not majorly. Clean room an bathroom
