Very funky decorations - they had a self made little "Beach" in the back for relaxing after a day of walking in Berlin. Cant say enough of how much I loved this place

Die Zimmer lassen vermuten, dass es sich um ein ehemaliges Pflegeheim o.ä. handelt. Die Ausstattung war einfach und zum Teil nicht sauber. Vor allem im Badezimmer. Die Lüftung funktionierte nicht und am Waschbecken lief das Wasser nicht richtig ab. Die Duschkabine zeigte deutliche Ablagerungen.

Reviewed Aug 27, 2026Wir hatten das Hotel kurzfristig gebucht und waren sehr zufrieden. Große, ruhige Zimmer, bequeme Betten, genuegend Decken und Kissen vorhanden. Es gibt genügend Steckdosen in Bettnähe, einen Ganzkörperspiegel im Zimmer, Kleiderschrank, einen kleine Tisch mit Stuehlen, alles was man braucht. WLAN funktioniert gut im Zimmer. Im Bad gibt es genügend Ablageflächen für Kosmetik. Personal beim einchecken ist sehr zuvorkommend und man fühlt sich willkommen. Gefruhstueckt haben wir hier nicht, da wir privat versorgt waren, aber das haette sich sicher auch gelohnt. In der Lobby gab es jederzeit kostenfrei Wasser. Die Lage in der Naehe der Osloer Strasse ist auch super, weil man durch die U Bahn Anbindung jederzeit schnell ueberall hinkommt.

Reviewed Aug 26, 2026Хороший хостел: большой лаунж внутри, есть и столики снаружи, кухня всем оборудована (хотя столиков мало, всего два, можно поставить еще парочку), камера хранения с выдачей багажа по номеркам. Очень любезный персонал. Спасибо, что разрешили находиться у вас с выселения и до позднего вечера! Гости все были хорошие и приличные. Все было тихо и внутри, и снаружи (хостел находится во дворе малопроезжей улицы).
К сожалению, должен проинформировать всех планирующих поездку, что это турецкий район, как и всё, что севернее Бернауэрштрассе. Впрочем, даже прогуливаясь в поздний час, все прошло без происшествий. Ну почти: не садитесь на U9 - за воскресенье было 2 инцидента в одном и том же поезде.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026The rooms are so good, very clean, spacious, and with lockers and keys for every guests. Everything is so organized in the room considering the price. This here is really a gem find. Not only did i enjoyed my stay in Berlin but also felt relaxed and well rested in the comfort of my own bed. Will definitely book again the next time i visit Berlin again.

Reviewed Aug 13, 2026Everything was great. The staff were really friendly and welcoming, and it was lovely that dogs are welcome too. The room itself was spacious and comfortable. There is convenient paid parking available, and the hotel is located in a quiet, peaceful area. It’s a great choice for anyone who prefers staying in a calmer neighbourhood away from the busy city centre.
There was a noticeable smell of cigarette smoke in the corridor, although thankfully there was no smell at all inside the room. Also, the room photos show a sofa, but there was no sofa in the actual room.

No hairdryer, you have to ask for one at the reception for a deposit, have to book with a credit card, the bathrooms can be a bit run down, hot water is really inconsistent, hard to shower properly having to constantly change the temperature lever, some people in my dorm were snoring really loud, and some people in the common area can be a bit annoying, but i guess thats not the property's fault.

Etwas hellhörig, insbesondere auch dann, wenn sich nachts um 3.00 Uhr draußen unterhalten wird. Wenig Ablagemöglichkeiten in Bad und Schrank.

Gemeinschraftraum mit kleiner Küche top (Geschirr, Wasserkocher, Mikrowelle). War nur eine Nacht (Konzertbesuch) hier - kann es aber ohne zu zögern weiterempfehlen.

There was enough storage space (also not common), the breakfast had vegan options, and everything was very decent or better than in other hostels. Really good value for the price.

In einem 4er-Zimmer sollten sich die Fenster schon mehr als nur einen Spaltbreit öffnen lassen, um die Belüftung sicherzustellen. TV mit gefühlt Tausenden Streamingsendern, aber die üblichen Programme des linearen Fernsehens (ja, manche nutzen das) waren nicht zu finden/Anleitung?

Reviewed Jul 6, 2026Big MAMA in Berlin hat eine sehr schöne Ausstrahlung. Das Personal ist nett und immer hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer war schlicht aber wohnlich eingerichtet mit allem was man für einen kurzen Trip nach Berlin benötigt. Wie auch andere Gäste schon schrieben, das Bett ist hervorragend, eine gute, feste Unterlage. Auch Nachts am Wochenende war die Umgebung trotz Stadtgetümmel ruhig genug. Der Balkon auf der Etage, war ein herausragendes Merkmal das einem das "draußenverweilen" auf kurzem Wege ermöglicht
Die Lüftungsmöglichkeit im Zimmer war etwas das man erwähnen muss. Da das Zimmer im 4 Stock war, konnte man das Fenster nur kippen, das reichte leider nicht aus um eine frische Belüftung 100% zu gewährleisten.

Reviewed Jul 4, 2026Meine Bewertung richtet sich nach Erfahrungen in anderen Unterkünften in Berlin: Der Empfang war sehr freundlich, es wurde alles erklärt und der reservierte Parkplatz dazu war auch sehr gut. Die Zimmer (zwei Doppelzimmer) waren beide sauber, die Betten bequem nur die Kissen hätten etwas größer sein dürfen. Kurzer Fußweg bis zur Tram sowie U-Bahn. Wir hatten uns spontan für das entschieden, was wir nicht bereut haben. Sehr reichhaltiges Frühstückbuffet mit sehr viel frischer und großer Auswahl an Käse sowie Wurst, Obst Aufstrich, Joghurt etc.
Meine Bewertung richtet sich nach Erfahrungen in anderen Unterkünften in Berlin: Ich wüsste nicht was ich an diesem Aufenthalt kritisieren könnte.

The property was not really easily to locate for me. Air fresheners can be put in the toilets.the shower was flunctuating from cold to hot as well. This could be looked into. The WiFi was flunctuating as well.

Keine Klimaanlage im Zimmer ,was bei Aktuelle Temperaturen draußen ,das Schlaf etwas gestört hat.

No kettle in the room, only in the lobby near reception There are no cosmetic products such as cotton swabs and slippers Some loud noise from the street at night. It sounds like iron hitting iron Old TV, I don’t understand why it’s a benefit. I can stay without TV (you can’t link YT for example) I don’t recommend to stay here on hot days as the rooms don’t have a fridge and air-conditioner A slight difference between reality and a photograph

Reviewed Jun 18, 2026I booked early, so the price was very reasonable. There were a big shelf in the room, it was very useful.
There were no outlet beside only my bed, so I had to charge my phone somewhere else. The mattress was too soft and worn out, and I could feel the lumps even through the sheets, so it should be replaced soon..

some people were shouting outside of the building for a long time, but I think that ofc has nothing to do with the hotel itself.

Reviewed Jun 17, 2026The staff were exceptional and the room and bathroom were spacious. Restroom was always available, as was the lounge restroom. I liked the lounge available, kitchen use, and comfortable downstairs. Easy metro access, but a bit far from downtown.
