Reviewed Sep 10, 2026This is our fourth stay here and rooms have always been clean with tea/coffee making facilities and private bathroom. The restaurant has generally good food and the staff are very welcoming, especially the young dark haired lady whose English is excellent.
We didn’t realise that we had been upgraded last time so booked the same room category/price again. This was an Economy double. It was quite a lot smaller and cramped than the Superieur of last time. Also no fridge/mini bar which we’d had on all three occasions previously. In the restaurant, the starters were very good but we asked for the vegetarian option for the main and this was not good. A selection of unimaginative root vegetables and several different strange varieties of carbs. Not at all balanced and actually not very pleasant. Creme brûlée was delicious.

Rien de particulier mis à part la chambre légèrement petite et mansardée mais avec l'avantage d'une fenêtre sur le jardin.

Ook de mooie, vogelrijke, omgeving en tuin om in te zitten bevielen ons uitstekend. Parkeren direct voor het hotel was ook fijn.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026Comfortable and peaceful hotel/restaurant, just right for an overnight on the road. The room was well-appointed with ensuite shower-room and excellent air-conditioning. It's a little way out of town, but well sign-posted and reception was open late into the evening due to the restaurant opening. Our room had sloping ceilings on the window side, which meant taking care not to bump one's head. It mightn't be as convenient if you were tall. However, overall excellent, friendly and a nice little pool for a quick dip after breakfast.

Reviewed Jul 18, 2026Wir sind mit sieben Motorrädern angereist und hatten sichere Stellplätze, was uns sehr wichtig war. Der Parkplatz war ausreichend groß. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich. Abends haben wir vor Ort gegessen und das Essen war hervorragend. Auch das Frühstück war gut und unsere Gastgeberin hat uns mit Handschlag und einem frisch gepressten Orangensaft begrüßt. Das Hotel liegt ausserhalb von GAP und ist absolut ruhig gelegen. Toller Pool, in toller Landschaft gelegen, es passte alles. Es gab in unserem Zimmer Dachschrägen, da musste man ein wenig aufpassen.

ontbijt was ondermaats, weinig keuze, fruit was 3 rotte bananen en 4 totaal verrimpelde perziken ontbijtruimte is warm en ongezellig, terwijl er een prachtig terras is waarop dit zou kunnen aangeboden kunnen worden kamer was niet echt proper, vooral in badkamer waren restanten van vorige gebruikers (vlekken op kranen, water in opvangvakjes douche) kwaliteit badkamerproducten was ondermaats, geen afzonderlijk champoo en doucheschuim, enkel algemene zeep in redelijk vuile potjes kamer was klein en onder het dak, waardoor je aan één zijde niet kon rechtstaan naast het bed personeel was vriendelijk maar in resto niet echt professioneel: er werd gemorst met wijn bij het inschenken, en de ober trilde helemaal van de stress.

Er is weinig keuze voor het ontbijt en dat voor 15 euro pp. Wij hadden veel vliegen in onze kamer. De kamer was niet heel proper.

Pokoj Exotique: velký, světlý, ale wow určitě neřeknete, spíš standardní pokoj … kávovar, konvice a tichá lednice jsou fajn. Oddělená lůžka 90 cm excelentní, vysoká středně tvrdá matrace, povlečení příjemné, několik polštářů, výborné závěsy, tichá klimatizace, u postelí lampička na čtení a zásuvka na dobití mobilu, ticho, spalo se moc dobře; koupelna s oknem, walk-in, velké zrcadlo. Inventář v perfektním stavu, vše čisté, osvětlení z více míst. V horkém dni udělal velkou radost bazén – voda čistá a příjemná, lehátka a slunečníky … Co nás zklamalo, bylo umístění pokoje – výhled na parkoviště, pod okny máme posezení, o které bychom se museli dělit s motorkou, která u stolku parkuje … v podstatě spokojenost, nic extra, cestujeme hodně, za 140 EUR bez snídaně jsme už bydleli v podstně lepším …

Reviewed Jun 30, 2026Lovely location, pretty building, really friendly & helpful staff, our room was extremely comfortable and spacious with a great bed. Nespresso machine, fridge and aircon were all very much appreciated. The pool was really good too. We had two lovely meals in the unusual cave type setting of the restaurant.
The fitted sheet on the bed wasn't the right size which caused the corners of the mattress to curve up - very odd but the bed itself was very comfortable.

la chambre est très mansardée, il faut faire attention de ne pas se cogner la tete ! prise électrique pour recharger la voiture très basique et trop lente. Un hotel de ce standing devrait investir dans une ou plusieurs vraies bornes !

Reviewed Jun 28, 2026La chambre supérieure est très spacieuse et très bien décorée, nous étions agréablement surpris. Le petit déjeuner était très bon, très varié avec des produits frais. Le personnel très accueillant et agréable. L'hôtel est hors du centre ville dans un très beau cadre.
Dommage de ne pas pouvoir prendre le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse du restaurant de l hôtel. Mais ce n'est qu'un détail.

Lack of attention to detail. No light in entrance to Exotic room. Difficult to unlock door in the dark. The restaurant staff did not seem happy in their work. We felt rushed.

Reviewed Jun 21, 2026This quaint boutique hotel was a lovely stopover for one night on our way to Nice. It was a little of town so wasn’t busy or noisy and had private parking on site. The room was spacious and comfortable, great shower and had a private terrace. Restaurant food was outstanding.
The room was a little tired but clean and comfortable enough. The towels were too small. More like a large hand towel which was so odd. A bit of leaf debris on the terrace. No English speaking channels on TV.

Reviewed Jun 19, 2026Excellente étape entre la Provence et Annecy. Grande chambre confortable, joli jardin. Malheureusement la température ne nous a pas permis de profiter de la piscine. Nous y avons pris un excellent repas du soir. Le petit déjeuner est aussi vraiment très bien.

We had a large ground floor family room, comfortable bed and plenty of space with a sofa area. Quiet, plenty of parking. Drinks in the garden before dinner in the restaurant

Wir hatten eine Suite, da wir einzelbetten gebucht hatten. Es war schön eingerichtet, hat aber leider nach Feuchtigkeit gerochen. Das Frühstück war enttäuschend, deshalb haben wir uns entschieden in der nächsten Bäckerei etwas zu essen. Das Abendessen im Hoteleigenen Restaurant war ok, aber auch nicht super gut. Wir waren enttäuscht.
