Pavillon sur Mer by Riôtel (150 metres from the main hotel)

Nice hotel with beachside rooms. Parking in front of the building. View on sunset.

Friendly, personable staff at reception. Room was easy to find.

directly on the beach, can't beat falling asleep to the sound of the waves

Amazing view on the river. Comfortable room, everything was clean. Staff at main hotel was friendly and we enjoyed the pool & sauna in the main hotel building. Would definitely book again.

Overnight stay on our roadtrip. Loved being right on the water. Great restaurant.

The place was well located and offered a wonderful view of the sea. The room was clean. The staff was welcoming. The adjoining hotel had a nice restaurant. However, the bathroom in the room lacked toiletries, towels, and a washcloth.

Our host Deroy was personable, friendly, and easy to work with. And ee loved the property location: historic lighthouse within walking distance, the Gulf of St Lawrence right across the street, and Forillon NP just 9 minutes away. We enjoyed sitting outside every evening to watch the waters and Cap Gaspe on the background.

Très déçu Très mauvais rapport qualité prix

Superbe place but the complex of pavillon sur mer need a little love. Especially, on the outside.

good

We love this hotel! We travel with children. We have stayed there many times. We like the friendly staff, cleanliness, beautiful beach, swimming pool, sauna and romantic atmosphere! Thank you!

Tres Bien.

Great place good location nothing to complain about

Resto juste wow , vue exceptionnelle et confort excellent

Nur

I like the fact that we got upgraded to the main hotel instead of the one thats 150m away.

Excellent

parking very messy

I really like this hotel!

All was well

Great view The Pavillon is the Older part of the Hotel perfect for a business trip one night Hotel Restaurant was great Nice St-Laurence view

Each unit had either a balconey over looking the St Lawrence or a walkout to the river. You can watch the tides.

The main hotel of the property was beautiful and new, with a fabulous restaurant and Pool facility. Checkin is done in the main Hotel and then a short distance walk to the older rooms that we stayed. Expedia had booked us in an Upstairs room with Balcony, but Reception was able to update our reservation to a downstairs room with a Ground Floor Patio The Room was average, a bit older, but well maintained and clean. The Patio was amazing, with a Patio Door opening to a Beach Waterfront only feet away. The view was amazing and the tranquility of the Waves on the shoreline could not be beat. We actually watched a huge Fin Whale come to the surface 3 times directly in front of our room about 300 yds from shore about 30 mins after checkin. WOW !!! In the morning we relaxed on the Patio and watched Gulls catch and eat Crabs on the Shoreline when the Tide went out. We did tons of Beachcombing and found lots of Sea Glass We've stayed in nicer rooms, but the view from this one will be a long-term memory ..... and we will be back and stay longer next time

Rooms all face towards the St Lawrence river , with the sound of the surf and the aroma of the salt air , very zen .

The only downfall was the carpet in the room

Nice hotel and well worth the stay. Location is excellent and so are the staff. The only issue we had was with the plumbing. Management needs to fix the hot water tank. It took 5 minutes of running before warm water started to appear. Then, the pipes were loud and noisy......and as for the toilet, it needed to be replaced. If you can get past the plumbing in the bathroom....all is good!

Good

Great

Nice view. Very quiet

Bel endroit mais manque dramatiquement d’entretien dommage

Although this place in right on the beach with a beautiful view, the facility itself is tired. Maintenance required inside and out.

My first impression, when I pulled up and opened the door to a cramped, dark, common area with dirty wine glasses, was that the place was run down. I can see why there are poor reviews, especially since you have to check in at the new hotel next door. We contemplated moving to the new hotel but decided to give it a try given that the room was right on the beach and it seemed quieter. It was nice to be able to walk out onto the beach but the beds could have been more comfortable. The location was nice, as it was right on the beach and a short distance to a grocery store and a cute cafe in town.

Beautiful hotel Very clean!!

The chef has no idea what a fish restaurant is.

Room was clean and comfortable.

Very easy to get too view amazing. Staff very helpful

.

Great view from our room.

Good

Toilets were very smelly..should have exhaust inside....although we have booked it many days ago we were made to wait for for an hour.

If I had time I would sue Expedia and this hotel for providing wrong information and ruin my plan. I brought my parent to 7 days east Quebec road trip to appreciate them. On website you see a nice entrance nice resto nice spa! But wait! It’s not belong to pavillon section! No picture of this disaster of pavillon entrance! No information about you have to take car from reception to get to pavillon section! With two old parents that are not able to walk, I put all their luggage in entrance and receptionist told me that we need to go to other section! I told her that I don’t understand what she is meaning and in picture I saw this reception, this place and I thought it’s inside the building in the picture! She was so rude and in a way of yieling she told you reserve there you go there! I was pretty bad surprise. She was so rude even to understand what is my point and that I’m confused. I told her but it’s not mentioned we have to take car to there! She answers again very rude! She didn’t even provide a clear road map that where we are suppose to go! I again put all luggages back helped my parents sit and drove to find this old building. It is a disaster. I have been never in a hotel like it. My father is not able to take stairs. She is not even able to walk long distance. The receptionist was so rude even to be able to ask if they have a room in that section to stay just one night. I don’t care about money. I care about quality and my parents. Long story short don’t come here.

Great location

This property was clean, close to the ferry and on the beach. The food at the adjacent restaurant was delicious. The staff were very friendly

Beautiful view on the ocean

Beautiful view of St Lawrence river Unit was clean , in need of some TLC

Be careful, what shown on web is not what you get, there are 2 bulildings, one is just a motel with no service at all, the motel has no shampoo and conditioner.

I would suggest having a sign showing were check in / reception is.

We had a room in the Pavillon building, with a patio door walk-out right onto the beach. It was quite lovely. The room was smallish, but the mattresses and bedding were comfortable, and the bathroom and shower were in excellent condition.

Well we were not expecting carpeted floors which wouldn’t be so bad if it was clean. As soon as we walked in the room there was a really bad smell. I did complaine because my wife is allergic to carpet but I was told nothing could be done. Also, the towels were so old we couldn’t believe it, seriously. Plus the toilet was ok but talk about being low, which is fine if you are 5’ tall otherwise not easy to use. Plus your balcony needs renovating. Live and learn as the saying goes but we definitely won’t be back.

This is a lovely little spot on the Gaspé peninsula. Right on the water (leave your window open at night so you fan hear the waves rolling in!), the view just couldn’t be more beautiful. Hotel and services are wonderful. We’d love to return!

The sun set

Très belle endroit, très propre, y retournerai certainement

Oceanside view, clean , good beds, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

We were on our way to Prince Edward Island, and decided to stay at this hotel. It is right on the beach, and the view, service, and hotel are excellent. I would recommend it to anyone!

on the waters edge but don’t expect a sandy beach. Close to some shops. Room is adequate for the price but the fridge needs to be bigger with controls for the temperature as our food ended up frozen. Nice balcony for a beer with great sunsets. we stayed 5 nights and housekeeping was good but could use a checklist to replace items (shampoo, coffee, soap and toilet paper.)

View from our patio was beautiful. Room was clean and had everything you could ask for. Laundry, restaurant, and pools were in the next building, a little far to walk in the wind. At first our door would not lock but staff resolved that issue with in an hour.

The hotel is located right next to the ocean and i believe all rooms have an ocean view and balcony. There is an excellent restaurant in their second property a 5 minute walk away. The desk and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful but one of the staff who was at our building sat and watched me struggle trying to open a door whilw carrying a cooler.

Super location at a great price! Very private in the pavilion and the beach was just steps away.

Great amenities and a good place to stay when taking the ferry. Was really icy and a bit haphazard to get to the second floor rooms with suitcases. Amazing restaurant and nice pool facilities

hard to find the rooms, all accessible from the exterior

Great location with a beautiful view. Couldn't ask for much better

very nice location, our room was right on the beach.

A budget wing of a much grander hotel but it is very comfortable and has a good location with fast food and other shops not far away. A sliding glass door leads to a small deck and the beach and water's edge are just beyond that. A great place to relax for a few days. The facilities in the suite included two double beds, a full bathroom, excellent lighting, plenty of power outlets, two lounge chairs, a desk with chair, fridge and microwave, and a coffee maker with tea and coffee pods provided.

Was a quick stay , overnight , the room was comfy , clean and the view awesome :) would stay again and the price was good :)

Good price and beautiful view. close to the ocean.

the main hotel was full, so, they booked us to an add-on building which was quite a walk from the main hotel

expensive during high season. Clean and nice view on the river.

Great view as the hotel is directly on the beach. But everything is just sooo old and deteriorated; 30 seconds after I start using the hair dryer we had a power failure. When I made the reservation on Expedia website, I was completely and deliberately misled by the description and photos presented.

Old furniture. Very nice view on the sea. Clean room. Acces to an indor pool, spa and exercise room

Great location right by water. Amenities (pool, spa, hotel restaurant) was great.

Quiet and pleasing an Hotel to be recommanded to everybody who want a good quality/price rating

Amazing view over the gulf of St.Lawrence w. Sunset and sunrise. Access to the beautiful beach for relaxing walks. Thanks

Great experience! It was a great location right on the beach. The indoor pool had everything the kids needed (life jackets, toys, etc.) Rooms were large and clean.

Beds were uncomfortable. Air conditioner very loud. Hard to sleep.

Got there after 9pm in the dark with a thunderstorm coming off in the distance. Didn't know that the place to go and check in was the nice and newer building a few lots away from this one. Should have had a sign on the door and a note on Expedia explaining that fact. Power went out at 11:15pm as we were getting ready for bed. Called office and they came and checked the breaker but it took 20 minutes at least to do this. Hotel otherwise was fine, liked it and the view

We stayed here for one night recently, and it was a very pleasant experience. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself was clean and well maintained. When we arrived we were offered a room upgrade from the pavilion to the hotel, which we took. The view can't be beat! The St Lawrence is practically on the doorstep. We didn't try the onsite restaraunt, but it was pretty busy which is a good sign.
