I love the location and the conviencw of the hotel.

I have stayed here several times and the floors has trash clutter in the hall ways.

Beautifully designed rooms. Very comfortable. Everything works flawlessly. Freshly brewed coffee and good selection of fresh pastries in the morning. Highly recommended.

This place is undergoing massive renovation. Great if you don’t plan on using facilities other than breakfast (which was very good). Pool is closed, which we felt other families were not aware of when they were checking in (felt bad for them). No water even though we were platinum, and room was excellent but note they don’t have a coffee maker

It was a great location, beautiful setting on a hill. The bed was comfortable and the sofa in the room was a plus.

If I had known it was under major construction I would never have stayed there. The front desk was inconveniently located far from the parking lot. The wind howled all night through the poorly sealed windows. I felt like I was in a 17th century castle. Breakfast was mediocre. The shower was low pressure. No coffee pot in the room. “You can go to the desk and request one”. Well, when I was awake at 2 am due to the howling wind, I would have liked to have a cup of tea. But couldn’t.

The hotel is being renovated right now, pool is not open, check in is at a different room, room is clean tho, lobby is full of construction materials. Room rates should’ve been hugely discounted while construction is being done.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious.

Our stay was disappointing overall, despite a welcoming and efficient check-in. While the website notes that the hotel is under renovation, the condition of the property was far more worn and dated than the photos on their website suggest. Our room felt very tired and, unfortunately, was extremely noisy. I had specifically requested a top-floor room away from the elevator in hopes of having a quiet night. We were not given a top-floor room, and we spent most of the night listening to loud thumping and bumping from the room above us. We could not tell whether the noise was related to renovation work or other guests, but either way, it made it nearly impossible to sleep. We ultimately left at 5:00 a.m. because we were unable to get any rest. Guests should also be aware that there are no coffee makers provided in the rooms. Coffee is only available downstairs from a shared machine, which could easily lead to long lines and frustration during the morning rush. In addition, I was disappointed by the unfriendly greeting from the breakfast attendant when I briefly entered the dining area to get a cup of coffee before leaving. There was also no one present at the front desk when I attempted to check out. Hopefully the renovation will be completed soon, but I recommend calling the hotel directly before booking to confirm that you can be assigned a room that reflects IHG standards. Unfortunately, ours did not.

Staff was great. Asked for some recommendations to restaurants in the area and things to do. They were honest and helpful.

Room had a few minor things that come with normal wear that could be updated but not enough that I wouldn't stay again.

Price...i called reservations and was quoted $300, expedia quoted $200...i askeb desk clerk if she could provide AAA discount and she said yes, but when i checked out no additional discount was applied.

We have stayed there several times. The breakfast has lots to choose from and space to eat it in.

we had a stuffed animal that went walkabout on our check out. staff stepped up and found the beast. The woman that mans the breakfast buffet needs a raise. she was everywhere all at once. She also was available the day before when we needed some guidance.

I like how the pool is open late. We were swimming until almost midnight! The breakfast bar was excellent and the coffee was really good. Overall a great place to stay.

We often choose Holiday Inns for their cleanliness and affordability, and this location exceeded our expectations—it was truly the Cadillac of their properties. Situated on a hill overlooking Pocatello, the hotel offered beautiful scenery, ample parking, and spacious rooms that comfortably accommodated our family of six. The breakfast was exceptional, and the staff were both helpful and friendly.

Breakfast was 2 different kinds of eggs and dry turkey sausage everyday. Over charged me by $200. Refusing to refund me yet they tell me I had no accidentals. Said booking had the price wrong.

The swimming pool was 24 hours. Was great. The bathroom In the pool area was terrible. There was poop on the wall. Pee on the toilet. The area was not clean.

Pool, free breakfast, comfortable beds and pillows. Amazingly friendly staff, the front desk, the breakfast lady, everyone was so kind.

My room was right by the 24 hr pool. Could hear people coming and going a lot. There was also a high pitched screeching coming from the toilet, or the wall behind the toilet and it continued all night. Would go away for a bit if the toilet was flushed. Made for a REALLY long sleepless night. The bed was also very uncomfortable. The staff were nice. But i will not be staying at this location again.

The pool is so cloudy you can't see the bottom. I told staff they said the chlorine pump has been broken off and on. The TV doesn't work in the room which they were aware of before we arrived but they don't have a replacement or another room. They used the excuse of Expedia and third party why they couldn't do much for us. Never again! water pressure so low you can hardly wash your hair and the shower doesn't drain!

Room was nice

They changed my room 3 times because they were not ready even though it was after 3:00 pm. Gave me a key that did not work. Stayed three days, didn't clean at all day one and no towels days 2 and 3. Closed pool during our stay and missing food and out of order juice machine at breakfast. Very dirty/stained chairs at breakfast.

Enjoyed the pool and breakfast. Check in was great! The breakfast server was very attentive. The maintenance man was very nice and helpful.

The guests next to me (a mom, daughter, and son) were extremely noisy as I was staying for work. I heard kids running around and my door was knocked on. I can’t prove it was my neighbor… but as I stood outside my door, the mom’s head popped out and remarked it wasn’t my kids banging on doors. Ironic.. bc I said nothing but simply stood outside my door. I did make a complaint and was told that a little baseball league were staying there and probably rambunctious. It was raining and thundering etc.. but not my problem. Suffice it to say, I had no rest and had to work all night. Never again. And to that woman in 239. Kiss my ass!

Love it! Stay was great. We were in town for 5 days for the rennaissance festival. So needed room with space. Room was perfect and loved the amenities. Cinnamon rolls were wonderful. And the shower caps were perfect. Most hotels miss the mark with that. Great amount of outlets in bathroom and all over room. Hotel seemed to be booked solid for the weekend, could tell little things were hard to keep up with, so not going to nitpick everything.

Just some highlights-Breakfast was ok. Wish they had bacon at least one of the 5 days we had stayed. Eggs were decent. Sausage- meh. Hot cocoa (Swiss miss tastes better lol). Coffee was decent. Shower head needs a deliming at some point.

Fabulous location with the best view of the city.

The staff was great!. Everyone was super nice and helpful. The location was great. It was fast and easy to get to the college.

The floors in the room were a bit dirty. When taking a shower, the tub would not drain. It would fill up to our ankles and stay that way until done. The fan in the bathroom was not working, which made the room very humid.

Parking and check in was easy staff were friendly. Our rooms AC unit was making a loud noise when running and there were stains in the carpet in the rooms and on the chairs in the breakfasts area

Our room was changed and we recived two queen beds when i had reserved a king. I did not like that

We are frequent visitors and IHG members to Holiday Inn locations throughout the country. We booked here based on other TA review. We stayed only one night. We found the room clean and a decent size. There is a view although it is not a grand majestic scene as some indicate. You can see the hills off in the distance, but you have other hotels and buildings screening out the sight. As Holiday Inns go this hotel stands with the majority that are well kept, comfortable, clean and pleasant to stay at. In that we enjoyed our stay. Reception was pleasant and the staff all were top rate. The only thing we absolutely abhorred was there is no coffe or tea maker in the room. Instead there was a lacking sign on the mini fridge, that explained: in an effort to save on plastic coffe k cups as a guest we could help ourselves 24/ 7 to coffe in the lobby. OmG what a lame excuse for saving money! This is the first Holiday Inn in a cross country trip that had no coffee machine in the room. What if you want coffee or tea in your room late at night? We are hoping this is not a new national policy for Holiday Inn, because it's cheap and beyond ingracious, and inconvenient. And as IHG members one expects at least the minimum of the availability of a coffee machine in the privacy of the room you book . This does make one wonder about the hotel chain as a whole. So, with that said, I have to say points comes off for this Pocatello location.

Good hotel! As my kids observed as they walked in to the room, it’s pretty! The front desk attendants were super kind and friendly! Only complaint I had was the pool was really cold and the hot tub was too hot so my 4 kids, who were really looking forward to swimming, struggled.

Wonderful stay. Roomis clean, comfortable with nice furnishings. Breakfast available 6am to 10am. Nice choice of breafast food.
