Tui Blue Xanthe- All Inclusive

I stayed in this hotel for two weeks over Christmas. The food in this hotel is fantastic and second to none. Such ahuge variety of local and world cuisine. All the staff in the hotel are excellent most speak English many also speak German The soundproofing between bedrooms could be better, but the standard of the rooms was good . During busy periods to sometimes difficult to find somewhere to sit with friends by the bar. There is a side room next to the bar which has some highly impractical furniture which really needs to be stripped out with compact seating to replace it. Overall, a very good hotel

I am writing to express my disappointment following our recent stay at your hotel, which we booked based on TUI’s strong recommendation and the excellent online reviews. Unfortunately, our experience fell far below the standard we expected from a five-star property. Room Quality & Comfort Our room was extremely small, and we were disturbed daily by noise from the neighbouring room, including their television and even their doorbell. The mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable and overly hard, which affected our sleep throughout the stay. When we raised these issues with reception, we were simply told to speak to Guest Relations, and the attitude felt dismissive rather than helpful. Closed Facilities & Misleading Information One of the major reasons we chose this resort was the facilities advertised by TUI—particularly the beach bar and waterslides. However, the beach bar was closed for at least four out of our seven nights. We were told this was due to “weather,” despite the rain only occurring early in the mornings. Other staff later told us it was due to staffing issues, which is misleading given that TUI clearly states on their website that the beach bar operates all year round. The waterslide was also closed for four days, again with “weather” given as the reason. Yet the conditions were perfectly suitable during the posted opening times. I repeatedly had to ask staff to open it. If facilities wind down toward the end of the season, this should be clearly stated by TUI. The TUI Rep offered no meaningful support and repeatedly told us we “should have read the small print,” even though the information on the app and website states these facilities operate year-round. This was both unhelpful and incorrect. Entertainment & Activities The entertainment was extremely poor. Evening activities consisted of paid bingo (€3) and a DJ. During the day, the only organised activity was one hour of darts. There was very little to do overall, which added to our disappointment. Food & Drink Outlets Another issue was the limited food options. Outside the main restaurant, the only alternative was the coffee shop, which offered mainly fancy cakes that were not to our taste. The gőzleme station was also closed on four of the seven days, again with “weather” given as the excuse even when the weather was perfectly fine. We also attempted to order items to our room through the TUI BLUE app, only to be told by reception that the app does not actually work for room service, which was never stated. Birthday/Anniversary Request Before our arrival, I arranged for something special in our room for my wife’s birthday and our anniversary. Although the restaurant table was decorated beautifully, the room had nothing at all. We were disappointed, especially after seeing other guests receive lovely room decorations for similar occasions. General Impression The indoor pool was excellent and never overcrowded, and we want to acknowledge the few staff members who went above and beyond for us. The hotel itself is exceptionally clean. However, overall we felt the resort was preparing to shut down early for the season. A staff member even told us that the pool bar and snack bar would be closing on 1st December. In our opinion, the hotel used light rain as an excuse to close facilities early. After speaking to another staff member, it became clear that this hotel caters more to other nationalities during the winter months rather than British holidaymakers, which again was not made clear by TUI. Final Thoughts We left extremely disappointed, and we feel that both the hotel and TUI misrepresented what would be available during our stay. This experience did not reflect a five-star standard in any way. I have photos and video evidence of the issues mentioned and would be happy to provide them upon request. We hope you will investigate this matter fully, as our holiday did not meet the expectations set by TUI or by the hotel’s advertised standards.

From the moment we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted warmly. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms and restaurant were excellent. The entertainment team was always active and attentive. The evening shows and live music activities were entertaining. We extend our thanks to Tony and Samet from the team.❤️

The hotel was lovely. The room was smaller than expected with a balcony facing the front of the building. We had a quick and easy check in as there was only two of us checking in. We were Shown to our room and everything was explained. We had booked a double room but ended up with twin beds. We left it till the next day to mention it. They said about pushing the beds together which was fine but left it to them which they did quite quickly while we were out. They left a towel swan on the bed with roses 🌹. Staff were friendly, the food was ample. Several cooking stations. There was so much choice but we're not very adventurous on food so keep it simple. Different options each night, lamb one night, beef next ect. The outside area was lovely, shame it was too cold for us to venture into the pools. I was Impressed by the Olympic pool. There were a few slides aswell at the other pools. Hammocks dotted about and the beech which was very busy. Lovely weather for November, just too cold for me in water. It was my husbands birthday while we were away and the cleaners placed his cards on the bed with a towel cake and swans and left us a cake and a bottle of wine. I would stay here again but....we were advised there was construction work going on accross from us but would be minimal. Tui advised us by letter. Not a problem and even said we could cancel or change but no , we needed this holiday. Well, during the day it was obviously ok because we don't spend time in the room but to have them working till 3 in the morning, yes 3 a.m was awfull. We don't sleep well at the best of times. I nearly spent a night in the lobby but my husband took me back. Others tried to change rooms but due to capacity couldnt. This construction work is going on till May when the new hotel should be finished. As I said it was a lovely hotel, I personally would stay there again but if my rooms where it was then no. I contacted tui who were very sorry and understanding. They apologised and said they went on what they had been told themselves. They took it seriously and were going to look into it. They may get many complaints but everyone else was German. It was a shame but we did thoroughly over all enjoy our stay

Really nice location, always sunny. Hotel staff is incredibly friendly and always go an extra mile to help. Big shout to Tony and Samet animation team that is always pulling activities for the guests. And last bit not least the food is delicious.

Tony and Samer are really nice guys, very friendly, with good energy and welcoming to the place. We could feel more at home and more integrated. We had really nice time and conversation every day. Tony looks from our family. We had good laughs and changed experience of life. We appreciated so much all we had on that period. We gonna to have nice memories for all life.

A big thank you to the entertainment team especially Samet, who has gone above and beyond. The black and white party was an amazing night with lots of great music. Also a big thank you to Ercil, who was always making sure we were well looked after. This hotel has amazing facilities that caters for everyone. The food is absolutely amazing. We can’t wait to come back here next year.

Great hospitality and services all around. Excellentt spa and relaxing Balinese massage. Huge selection of Turkish and international food!

This is our 2nd visit to this hotel and can honestly say it did not disappoint. We would like to say a special thankyou to Volcan,Berkan and Muhammet at the lobby bar who always greeted us with a smile and couldn't do enough for us always remembering our order and serving us efficiently. WE would also like to thank Samet and the animation team for organising a great beach party and making time to speak with us all. Sibh memmet in the restaurant for always making us feel special when we sat down to eat in the restaurant. A true gentleman. , 9 9

We have had a lovely 12 nights here. Entertainment team were great fun, especially Samet and Mario. We learnt how to play shuffleboard and won. Bar staff went out of their way to make cocktails with alternative milk. Found the turtles only a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Room was kept clean throughout our stay. Food was nice and good variety, but vegetarian options were quite limited and similar each night unfortunately, but still nice. Nice hotel, we would return, highly recommend!

That's our second time in hotel we love that complex especially pools you have nice atmosphere here.The shows are really brilliant and special mention for DJ Samet he played perfect music in Octoberfest we have really enjoyed that ! He has a good music taste.All stuff in hotel are friendly we will definitely come for third time !!! Keep it good xanthe , can't wait for the next party !!!

The pool bar is amazing, lovely food and drinks, the perfect place to chill and catch a break from the sun. Ercil is the best, he always provides service with a smile and never fails to make guests laugh. From the first day we arrived and ordered our first drinks he remembered our order and every time we returned he would have our drinks ready for us. What a legend!! I will most definitely miss his little smile when i return home tomorrow

We stayed here for 21 night in August. 5th - 26th August 2025. We booked this hotel as we have been to many TUI Blue hotels before & our daughter (9 years) has loved every one we have been too. In our first 4 nights we had 3 different rooms. Packed unpacked drove me mental! It was like being in a rave at 10:30pm - 11:40pm every night. The noise was NOT from TUI BLUE XANTHE but it was from the surrounding establishments (hotels). We was moved told it woud be quieter, got worse, then moved again same but this time had flashing lights coming through the blinds. I took videos showed staff they were not surprised in the slightest! Just kept saying we move you tomorrow. There were 8-9 on the room change list everyday! We tried to move hotels but TUI wanted 6K .... That was more than what we had paid for the 3 weeks. So we declined! Food was nice no complaints in The Restaurant. Turkish theme night is on Mondays. Beach is very nice. Mini Disco for the children & the hotel in generla cater more for German and Polish guests than UK! The Mini-Disco was mainly in German. During our 3 weeks stay we only met 2 other UK families! AQUA JUMP on the TUI-Blue app says suitable for ALL AGES. Yet the instructer refused my daughter every time! My daughter swims competitvley and is better than most adults so swimming ability was not the reason. This hotel is literally sandwiched between other resorts you hear their noise over your own! The towel situation, if you do not go to the spa before 3pm you cannot get clean towels until the next day 8:30 from the spa! I found this a pain and no other hotel i have been too is like this. Usually 5 or 6pm there are towel huts where you can get fresh before heading back to your room ready for next day! The towels are very worn, some even had see-through patches from how old and how many times been washed / used!! Large space by Olympic Pool is just wasted it could be a pool bar, snack bar, place for entertainment just white decor and empty! Did not get served a daytime drink in the whole 3 weeks! Had to get our own drinks which I have never had in all ther 5* been to before. Even 4* platinum we were served drinks, all previous TUI hotels as well. Very Strange! Not sure how this is a 5* at all to be honest. a la carte you can go once to one out of the two restaurants even if you go for 3 weeks like us. very disappointing.

As well as a relaxing experience, we were keen to have a holiday with lots of fitness activities too, so we could enjoy the buffet at the end! Çiğdem our TUI rep was so welcoming and friendly, she took time to get to know the family and led us through yoga, Pilates, water aerobics and stretch classes. We were so lucky to find someone so friendly and enthusiastic!

We stayed here for 2 weeks and found it a lovely hotel. Rooms are a little on the small side and also the balcony. Food is lovely at the beach, pool bar and also main buffet restaurant. You'd struggle not to find something you liked. Hotel was very clean and so were rooms. entertainment was ok on about 25% of our stay. Where they do the bingo and quizzes you'd have to get there so early to get a seat as there aren't enough there for everyone or even half of the hotel. Lots of places to go outside, my daughter loved the shops and the mall, very reasonable if you don't mind being a bit pestered. Plenty of activities on in the day for everyone and entertainment staff are lovely and don't pester you but do involve you. I always love Turkey because of the hotel quality and the friendliness. However, the hotel staff are not always as friendly as in other hotels I have stayed in. This is especially true of the 2 who work at the pool bar behind the bar. They never once smiled or made any effort to be friendly. On some occasions I would be waiting to be served (no one behind me) and he would start tidying up and rearranging the bar, clearly knowing I was waiting!! On another occasion I asked for 2 slushes and he gave me the tiniest paper cup. I politely asked for a bigger cup and he turned round and simply said 'No'. That was on my last day and, as we were sat at the Olympic pool I went to the beach bar instead where the staff are lovely and much friendlier. They tall waiter with glasses (also works at the lobby bar) is amazing and so friendly and funny. In terms of sunbeds, my husband did tell guest relations about them being reserved for hours on end and they just put more beds on the grass, which is ok but did look very cluttered. Just stop people reserving them! At another Tui Blue we have been to, a lady would man the pool area and take off towels before 9am. it wasn't a big pool area but neither is the Xanthe so it could be done. Just didn't see the point in having the signs which aren't enforced. This is a lovely hotel and we had an amazing time and facilities and amenities great so I would recommend. The only reason I wouldn't go back is because i go somewhere different all the time if I can.

All the staff were so lovely and made our tip so fun, it was extremely clean and the food was great with a really good selection, all the entertainment staff were so bubbly and amazing to be around

We really enjoyed our stay here. Food is great , everyone’s gonna find something to eat. The hotel is really clean, staff is working really hard. Omar was playing volleyball like a pro and he was really talkative same as samet he was playing really good music and made funny jokes it was the best

This hotel is definitely not 5 stars. All public area were immaculately clean and had the 5 star feel. We stayed in the main hotel and the room is really only 3 stars. Very small balcony (around 4ft square )with a plastic low table and 2 plastic chairs. No room for anything else. Very basic hospitality tray with couple of sachets of coffee and whitener. Very slow drinks service in restaurant due to I think a lack of staff. Some mornings we didn’t even get coffee and its not obvious where to get it yourself. Its also very noisy so not a relaxing experience . We qualified for 1 meal in the a la carte restaurant. We enjoyed this but my dessert was frozen in the middle. My main issue is that smoking is permitted around the pool area. As we are not smokers it’s unpleasant to have smoke drifting in your face. On a positive note all staff were very friendly.

Not sure how all the other reviews are 5 stars as this definitely isn't a 5 star hotel. Rooms are small and very tired with holes in the blinds, no blackout blinds. We spent the first 2 nights in a room that smelt of sewage/mould when the air conditioning was on. It also wasn't cleaned properly. We complained after the first night but they did nothing. On the second night we couldn't tolerate the smell and had to turn the a/c off and slept in 30 degrees heat with no a/c or even fans (they said they didn't have any fans which I find hard to believe). After 2 days we were moved to another room, also tired but at least the a/c worked. The mini bars were barely cold also. It's a shame because after this my husband came down with a fever for the rest of the holiday, which I think was down to illness caught from the mouldy air conditioning. Legionnaires is spread like this so I think the hotel should take this more seriously but they don't as I saw other people complaining about the stench. Waiting staff are rushed off their feet and short staffed but they try so hard. A couple of occasions we waited for meals at the pool bar which never materialised so we gave up and left. Hygiene is not a strong point. The tables are often dirty if you are not the first family to use it at meal times. I watched as a staff member picked up all the apricots from around the dessert buffet, piling them on a plate, dropping one on the floor and picking it up and putting it back on the plate (she didn't throw it away!). Another time we saw fruit flies all over the fruit. My daughters had sickness a couple of times, I think from the buffet. Special mention for Ercan who was an excellent waiter. The pools are amazing but nowhere near enough sunbeds. They are all reserved before breakfast despite hotel policy saying they don't allow it. I complained a couple of times when I saw just towels on sunbeds all day long but nothing was done so we usually had to leave our stuff under a tree to go for a swim. Entertainment is really poor for a 5 star resort and mostly in German. All staff speak German preferentially and few speak English properly so it's difficult to communicate. We were there for 10 days and looked for Samet but never saw him. Positives are the location and the gorgeous beach. We made the best of the situation but it definitely didn't match the 5 star experience we were promised and it definitely doesn't match the majority of reviews on here. We'll not be back.

Please save your money and book another hotel in Side, we arrived at 3 am to a room with awful smells of poo and wee, the room had terrible damp damage and water leakage on the ceilings and bathrooms. We complained and was then moved to another room with thankfully no smells but it had again damp damage on the ceilings and walls, checked out after 6 hours, was in another hotel by 9am , 5 star no chance, hotel is dated and old and in desperate need of a refurb.... they knew they had a sewage issue on this part of the hotel and still checked in guests to rooms that were affected.. lol ... Side is such a lovely place i recommend Barut hotels, we moved there, night and day compared to this dump

Great hotel with amazing food, lovely pools, and top entertainment — Samet in particular was fantastic and really made the trip fun. Rooms are a bit small if you’re more than two people, but everything else was spot on!

The entertainment was great I enjoyed the activities such as darts, boccia, and the entertainer Samet was nice too talk too. He plays football, ping pong, cards and also goes in the pool.and the food was good but the rooms are small and the air conditioning wouldn't go under 23

I recently stayed at Tui Blu Xanthe for a week with family. The decor of the hotel reception and lobby area was outstanding with a large seating area. The hotel is situated in a wonderful area with the market/bazarr directly at the front entrance of the hotel. The beach is beautiful and so is the food at the beach bar with wonderful service from the staff who couldn’t do enough for us. The entertainment in the night is varied with country quizzes, movie soundtrack quiz and kareoke. Samet made our stay at the hotel extremely enjoyable and was constantly entertaining all guests

80% of the staff members didnt seem interested in handing out good service making it feel like it was a burden to be here, apart from a few staff members such as samet and the crew he has with him who always made an effort to make us feel welcome. The food was quite poor considering its a 5* hotel, the options were quite repetitive at the main restaurant, the only saving grace was the food at the pool bar which was really good The facilities were really good like the pools and the slides were really good to use even for adults and the lifeguards on duty always made an effort to get to us a little bit more than others which we appreciate. Overall I wouldn't personally return for the price I paid

We have been here a week expensive week for staff to be not so friendly.. I can count on 1 hand the nice staff, Samet very helpful and had time for all visitors. The male staff member in the bar near reception absolutely lovely.. smiles and willing to help. Food not what you would expect for a 5 star hotel very bland and not much variation. Alacarte we booked Italian food not what we expected, steak was lovely, but Ithink they need to look at the childrens choice we had to go i to main restaurant for my grandson as food was shocking 😲 you book hoping for the service to be extra special, when paying so much. Hotel very clean, cleaners absolutely lovely... plenty room for improvements

Overall this is a very good clean hotel, staff are amazing, friendly and work extremely hard to make sure you have a great stay. Special mention to Ercil, the waiter, who was just fantastic. He works so hard and certainly goes above and beyond. We were upgraded which was great because the rooms are small, there were three of us. Note there is a cost of between €100 - €150 to keep the room on check out day, you can use the spa facilities. The food is very good, we especially enjoyed the pool bar for lunch. The play parks are great for the children. The negative is the children’s entertainment in the evening is very much geared for German children. Hardly any English songs for the children to sing along to. No T Bots, which our Grand Daughter was looking forward to seeing and the Rep had never heard of them. We and another family mentioned the lack of English songs to the Rep but nothing changed. You do need to be up very early to get a subbed!!!

We had a lovely time, we were very well looked after by all the kind hotel staff, especially Samet. He made our stay extra special. We also really enjoyed the sound therapy. We really liked all the food and the swimming pools and water slides were good fun Thank you for a great holiday.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel in Turkey! The food was absolutely delicious with a wide variety of fresh options every day. The highlight, though, was the incredible entertainer Samet—funny, full of energy, and always getting everyone involved. He made each night unforgettable with games, shows, and great vibes. Highly recommend for a fun and relaxing holiday!

Excellent staff, especially samet and Leo, on the entertainment team, they make you feel so welcome and include you the games on the beach and at the evening entertainment. The bar staff make very good drinks. Hotel is very nice, some work is going at the moment, but it will be finished soon. Food there is a very good choice in the restaurant.

Absolutely fantastic all round, friendly staff especially the entertainment team Samet and Leo. We were impressed with the food and drinks quality too. Ideal for couples and families. We would definitely return at some point. Our weather was mostly good for the time of year.

We have just had an amazing week at Xanthe, The hotel staff were amazing and always there to help, Special shout out for both of the hotel entertainment team Samet and Leo. We loved our daily games of Darts and Bocha. Food in the restaurant was amazing always loads to choose from, followed by fun evenings in the lobby bar or entertainment bar. Thanks Exanthe look forward to returning soon.

Had a great time even though early in the season the hotel was very welcoming with friendly staff. The entertainment staff particularly Samet did their best to keep us entertained on cloudy days with darts, bingo , and evening music. Would return but later in season next time.

Samet is a host for your entertainment team. Generates lots of guests to play his darts games and is always upbeat with everyone.. an asset to any team. Xantha is very lucky to have him... My wife and I love this hotel and we would recommend it to anyone who reads this review.

Rezervasyon yaptırdığım ve ödemesini yaptığım otele saat 18.00de ulaştık. Hotels.com ve otel arasındaki iletişim sıkıntısı nedeniyle yaklaşık 2 saat check in işlemi yapılamadı. Resepsiyon görevlisi iyi niyetli olmakla beraber yeterli beceriye sahip değildi. Otelin konfor ve temizliği fiyat/performans açısından zayıftı. Personel yetersizdi. Herşey dahil konsepti olarak belirtilen tanıtıma rağmen çok az içecek ücretsiz konseptteydi. Tek olumlu söylenecek husus otelin güzel plajıydı.

Bizi çok güzel karşıladılar, ekip çok ilgili, odamız güzeldi, yemekler harikaydı, maraton için gitmiştik, tam sporcu oteli. Teşekkürler herkese

Otelin yeri guzel. Yemekler fena degil. Otel calisanlari genel olarak cana yakin sadece bazen yabanci turistlerle fazla samimi oluyorlar. En buyuk artisi bircok havuzunun olmasi. Otel genel olarak guzel bir daha giderim tavsiye ederim.
