Reviewed Sep 15, 2026Sehr schöne kleine, sehr hochwertige Unterkunft in der historischen Altstadt. Großzügiges Zimmer, sehr bequeme Betten, gute Klimaanlage, tolles Badezimmer. Tolles Frühstück gibt es auf der wunderschönen Terrasse im Innenhof. Sehr gute Auswahl incl Omelett Wünsche werden erfüllt. Die Lage ist perfekt, direkt in der Altstadt und trotzdem total ruhig. Ein Auto sollte man allerdings nicht dabei haben, da die Altstadt quasi autofrei ist bzw. keine Parkmöglichkeiten hat. Hervorzuheben ist die besonders gute und persönliche Betreuung der Gäste. Die Chefin und ihre Mitarbeiter organisieren wirklich alles, Touren, Mietwagen, Restaurant-Empfehlungen und Buchungen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!
Uns hat alles sehr gut gefallen.

The room door is not sealed so we heard all the noise when they were preparing the breakfast from 7:30 am.

La descripción de nuestra habitación decia que era más grande y con un sofacama extra y no fue así. El personal del desayuno no demasiado amable, de tres dias el tercero ni salieron a preguntar si queriamos cafe y tuvimos que ir a pedirlo. Fueron unos dias de calor extrema y quizas hibiera estado bien montar las mesas de desayuno en el interior.

Reviewed Sep 1, 2026Everything! Waking up to the sound of the sea, swimming just steps from our door, and experiencing the kindness and generosity of Toto and Diana made this a truly magical stay. Everything was exceptional, from the location and comfort to the thoughtful personal touches. We arrived as guests and left feeling like friends. Cefalù stole our hearts, and Palazzo Cettina Sul Mare was a big reason why.
There really isn't anything not to like - it is the perfect place!

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026Die Lage mitten in der Altstadt ist perfekt für Erkundungen der Stadt - mittendrin und trotzdem sehr ruhig, und viele Sehenswürdigkeien und Restaurants sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Rezeptionsteam war unglaublich nett, hilfreich und unterstützend - vielen Dank noch einmal an alle! Vorbildlich: Gleich bei der Ankunft wurden Nahrungsmittelunverträglichkeiten erfragt. Es gab sogar glutenfreie Alternativen und Mandelmilch beim Frühstück! Die sehr gut und ziemlich geräuscharm funktionierende Klimaanlage war ein Highlight angesicht der Augusthitze! Wunderbarer Blick auf die Stadt von unserer winzigen Dachterasse aus, die wir leider wegen der Hitze nur am späten Abend nutzen konnten.
Das Frühstücksteam hätte etwas aufmerksamer, freundlicher und achtsamer sein können.

You should put some form of drying racks for clothes because in the heat we need to wash everything all the time :) there are really stylish ones that are retractable and could be put inside the bathrooms. Otherwise everything was really nice!

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026Very welcoming and nice hotel. The service was exceptional and the continental breakfast was delicious and plentiful. So man options! The hotel is close to the food market and restaurants. The rooms were spacious and clean, with the spare room upstairs in the loft. No issue was too big to assist and Fanny was so helpful. Would definitely stay again if we come to Palermo.
The safe didn’t work at times however didn’t affect our stay, however Fanny was also happy to help.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026Śniadanie dobre, w stylu włoskim. Miłą niespodzianką był ekspres do kawy na pastylki, czego nie było w opisie pokoju. Dobrze byłoby gdyby pastylki było dostarczane przez cały pobyt. Woda była uzupełniana, co w Palermo latem ma ogromne znaczenie. Lokalizacja super! WiFi silne. Najważniejsze atrakcje na dystansie spacerowym (do 30 min.), chociaż w takim upale chodzenie do miejsc zwiedzania jest wyłącznie dla pasjonatów. Obiekt (na życzenie) zapewnia płatny transfer na lotnisko. Przy zameldowaniu szczegółowe objaśnienie i plan z atrakcjami w okolicy i dalej. Brawa dla Pani Fanny i Pani Sereny!, bardzo zainteresowanych i pomocnych. Dziękujemy!
Można poprawić nieco czystość. Nie działało przełączanie prysznica z deszczownicy na słuchawkę. Nie zgłosiłem tego z lenistwa, nie przeszkadzało nam. Brak jednego światła w łazience. Jedna Pani w jadalni dziwnie reagowała na zamówienie kawy lub jajecznicy z menu (smutna, że pracuje?). Nie wszystkie zdjęcia opowiadają o stanie rzeczywistym - np. balkon dla pokoju nie jest zbieżny z prawdziwym wyglądem (Junior Suite z balkonem), z innych pokoi nie korzystaliśmy. Należy jednak pamiętać, że zdjęcia takich obiektów są zawsze robione szerokokątnym obiektywem lub mają też "przestrzeń poza kadrem".

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026Ochotná paní majitelka, ale i personál připravující snídaně. Komunikace v angličtině byla bez problémů. Pro manželku a dceru bylo zajištěno kvalitní čerstvé bezlepkové pečivo (croasanty, koláče, housky,...). Poloha ubytování je vynikající z pohledu cesty do města, resp. na hlavní ulice a památky. Majitelka má vytištěnou přehlednou příručku s mapou a hlavními informacemi o Palermu. Snídaně jsou servírované na venkovní terase, kde je i menší zahrada. Hezká terasa i na pokoji, ale venku bylo takové horko, že jsme jí moc nepoužívali.
Z pohledu prvního příjezdu a zaparkování je poloha problematická. Přímo před ubytování se dostanou možná Palermané, ale turista těžko. Navíc navigace v autě nás špatně naváděla. My jsme zaparkovali cca 150-200 m od ubytování, kde naštěstí bylo jedno "místo" - před i za autem zbylo vždy cca 5 cm... Odnesli jsme kufry na ubytování, ubytovali se a pak zajeli do parkovacího domu (cca 300-400 m pěšky). Nižší hodnocení za zařízení je jen proto, že je pokoj zařízen prakticky, ale jednodušeji, ale to asi není na škodu. Obecně je ubytování dražší, ale my jsme cca týden před příjezdem objevili slevu.

Onvriendelijke, chagrijnige serveerster bij het ontbijt. Je kon bij deze B&B zelf geen koffie of roerei/ommeletje pakken. Moest je persoonlijk bij de "senior serveerster" bestellen die haar "cave" streng bewaakte, zij was wel héél zuinig, na 1 bak koffie werd je kopje gelijk meegenomen.

Nothing was too much bother. We loved the delicious breakfasts on the pretty patio and the location is ideal for exploring Palermo on foot. Highly recommend! Thank you Palazzo Sant'Agostino team :)

Do tego dobra kawa do wyboru według gustu. Personel bardzo pomocny, bardzo dobry kontakt od momentu rezerwacji do wyjazdu. W pobliżu obiektu mnóstwo atrakcji i głównych zabytków Palermo do których można dotrzeć pieszo . Pobyt bardzo udany

Reviewed Jul 23, 2026Väldigt fint boende i ett gamalt palats. Otroligt trevlig och tillmötesgående personal. Vi fick mycket bra tips på restauranger och en bok om konstnären som skapat konsten på hotellet. Toppenfrukost i deras fina egna trädgård. Rena och välstädade rum. Välfungerande AC vilket var behövligt då Palermo hade värmebölja.
Läget är bra och nära till alla sevärdheter. Det som drar ner betyget något var att det var väldigt mörkt när vi gick hem på kvällen. Om det berodde på de strömavbrott som Palermo drabbades av till och från de dagar vi var där, vet jag inte.

Beautifull rooms with lots of space and quirky layouts. Very special and romantic. Nice breakfast at the terrace, flexible help from staff even with parking. View from suite was awesome.
In one of our rooms the ac was not working properly, was sort of fixed well enough not to melt in the hottest night of the year. Lots of stairs. Very charming but not if you have difficulty. There is a elevator.

Dessutom fick vi utförliga tips på sevärdheter och restauranger i Palermo. Sviten vi bodde i hade allt man kunde önska sig. En skön och bekväm säng i sovrummet med intilliggande badrum med stor dusch. I vardagsrummet fanns bekväma sittplatser. Rummet hade även två balkonger ut mot gatan. Frukosten var helt fantastisk!
Vi älskade allt med boendet.

Reviewed Jun 28, 2026It was a very beautiful unique traditional building with high ceilings and frescos on the ceiling. The location was good near the centre of town and near a secure underground carpark so we didn’t have to worry about our hire car. The breakfast buffet had a wonderful selection and we could sit outside in the courtyard.
We had booked a room for 2 people with a balcony overlooking the roof tops of Palermo, but on arrival we were told the room was not available. We were ‘upgraded’ to a family room that was split over 2 levels with very narrow stairs. Not ideal. We had some views but not really what we had booked, so we were a bit disappointed.

Reviewed Jun 26, 2026The beautiful wall painting, stunning room, interior design and the breakfast was very good as well. The staff was sooo sweet, a young guy helped us and he was very good at English which helped a lot.
It said “parking” on Airbnb but didn’t specify which one or how to get there. Also we called a number to ask about parking but we got referred to someone who wasn’t at work…

Reviewed Jun 13, 2026Amazing property in an excellent location. Had a fabulous suite with 2 balconies overlooking the street. Everyone was lovely especially Fanny (the Manager) incredibly helpful and very knowledgeable. Breakfast on the terrace is special.
Absolutely nothing except would have loved to stay another night but it wasn’t available.

Reviewed Jun 11, 2026Die ersten Zimmer waren wunderbar. Am 2. Tag war nur noch eine Suite frei. Das Notbett im ersten Raum war weniger angenehm. Das Vorraumzimmer konnte nicht verdunkelt werden. Die Treppenhausbeleuchtung erhellte den Raum regelmäßig.

There was an enormous Water Heater in the bathroom, never seen anything llike it this size before, making a LOUD Humming noise, was very disturbing to say the least.

Reviewed Jun 2, 2026Auffallend geschmackvoll eingerichtete Oase inmitten der trubeligen Innenstadt. Das Zimmer war sehr ruhig, groß und sauber. Die Gastfreundschaft von Fanny und Andrea war herausragend und das Frühstück auf der Sonnenterrasse sehr lecker. Definitiv zu empfehlen, auch für alleine reisende Frauen.

Reviewed Jun 1, 2026Très bel établissement, très bien placé pour visiter Palerme. La literie est très confortable et le petit déjeuner de qualité.
Le descriptif parlait d'un balcon, en fait ce n'est pas le cas. Juste un patio très petit entouré de murs. Le parking public à proximité est très difficile à trouver. Le nom ne nous a pas été communiqué en amont c'est dommage.

Reviewed May 28, 2026The location was perfect, near major sites and in a fun, lively neighborhood. The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. And the breakfast- on a lovely terrace - was very, very good. Our room was comfortable as well.
Not a criticism , but just be aware that the place seems quite modest at first. Don’t be fooled. It’s wonderful.

Reviewed May 19, 2026Beautiful place and kind staff made our vacation truly amazing. Breakfast was great, room was clean and bed comfortable. Place is near Teatro Massimo, Via Maqueda and Mercado del Capo, but also quiet and cozy. I would definitely return.

Reviewed May 5, 2026Realmente estuvo muy bien, el chico que nos recibió un 10, además hablaba español, agradable, atento, nos solucionó con mucha profesionalidad un mal entendido con Booking. El resto del personal un 10, muy amables todos. La habitación súper. La terracita estupenda, buen desayuno, tal vez zumos naturales no habrían estado de más. Estaba muy bien ubicado. Evidentemente estamos hablando de Palermo, no es precisamente una ciudad que brille por su limpieza, la zona donde está tampoco.
Por decir algo, el coste, igual un poco alto, pero viendo el resto de hoteles y los precios, debe ser un tema de la zona.
