Always my go to when I travel to GC. Always clean, comfortable. The staff is amazing. The price point is so great.

Das Hotelzimmer war nicht teuer. Umso mehr waren wir überrascht wie schön gross das Zimmer war. Da hatten wir schon ganz anderes erlebt. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und das Zimmer war ruhig. Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war im Preis inbegriffen und war absolut okay. Wir waren auf der Durchreise und würden dort sofort wieder übernachten.

The breakfast could have had a little more variety but it was sufficient.

Spacious room, actually got upgraded to a suite. Room was very clean, beds comfortable. Slept really good. Quiet location. Staff was friendly, helpful and extremely polite. Also very accommodating for a pet with a lovely little green space close by. It was a pleasure to stay there. Looking forward to a return visit.

The motel exceeded our expectations. We were impressed by the wonderful staff. One of the girls behind the desk, Joanna, was particularly cheerful and helpful whenever we saw her. A young lady named Badia was truly amazing.. Always with a smile and a great attitude. If I owned a motel, I would love to clone her three times to run my establishment. I would stay at the Acorn again if I had the opportunity.

This older motel is a real gem in so many ways. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our family suite was renovated and SO CLEAN! Comfortable beds. Very reasonably priced.

It would have been nice for the rooms air conditioning to be turned on before arriving. The room was hot and took a long time to cool down. Continental breakfast was fine but a hard boiled egg, yogurt & banana would have be a bonus.

Room looked nothing like the pictures. All the rooms are on the second floor and there isn't an elevator. Great that they have breakfast, if you wait until they serve it at 7. I had to eat on the road because I left at 6.

I was impressed with the friendly staff, and the cleanliness of the room. Everything was great and couldn't have been better. It was easily accessible and lots of parking.

The ladies at the reception counter and the household staff were great and very helpfull. The room was perfect with an additional table with 2 chairs and an office table and chair. The bathroom was great. Wifi was perfect.

The building itself is a little dated and the beds aren’t the comfiest but the amazing staff made up for it. So accommodating and welcoming. Would absolutely stay there again for that reason! The staff went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our one night stay.

Staff are great and it’s clean. It’s good if you’re a solid sleeper and can sleep through heat, noise and through discomfort. The kitchenette had a mini fridge, stove top and microwave which was great. The continental breakfast was decent but the only protein source is peanut butter and maybe some from the yogurt. It had toast, bagels, cereal, yogurt, milk, pancakes, waffles, juice and apples. Rooms are hot and need AC to be comfortable, the AC is incredibly loud. My sleep was poor because of the loud AC, and uncomfortable bed, and the pillows were super lumpy - luckily we got different ones.

The gal working the check in desk made us feel so welcome! She made the stay for us 10 star! The facility was older but very well maintained and I was very pleased with the accommodations.

Smelled gross in there. Beds were uncomfortable and squeaked every time you moved. Hot and no AC in the bedroom just a huge loud fan. Very dated

Check in took over 1 hour. I was the only one there. 11:00 pm. I paid for the room in advance. Lost reservation. Woke me up at 8 am telling me the water was being turned off in 15 minutes. The shower handle was broken and had to hold it tight during the entire shower. The maid came in and demanded to clean the room WHILE I WAS IN THE SHOWER! The desk threatened to charge me extra because the maid couldn’t clean! The continental breakfast was horrible. Nothing at all. When I talked to the desk about any refunds since I had to leave early, they said no. Also no manager to contact still Complained to booking and the hotel wanted to settle by apologizing!!! the staff was very friendly. the rooms were really clean and tidy. no bad smells. the bed was comfy. it was quiet. ive stayed there before probably about 5 years ago and it was nice.. but this stay was much better.

This is the perfect motel when passing through Grande Cache. Good mattresses, pillows and toiletries. It is not deluxe and we skipped the meagre continental breakfast. We appreciated value and would stay there again.

The rooms where comfrotable and clean...which is the most important detail of the trip.

I would have liked for trivago or expedia apps to have a filter to show whether or not the motel includes continental breakfast because when you are shopping around for choosing a motel I would say this is definitely a factor to reflect pricing. I also could not find anywhere online that stated that continental breakfast is included.

This is our second time staying here and both times the lady at the desk said she wasn’t able to give us keys and had to let us in the room. This just seems very off and unsafe for us to not have access to our room. Also be aware that if you’re traveling with pets they put you on the top floor without an elevator and in the older rooms.

Do not judge this hotel by the way it looks on the outside! Our room was really nice and so clean. All of the typical places where hotels are dirty like bathroom corners, walls stuff like that, this housekeeping staff was on top of. This was one of the nicest and cleanest hotels we have ever stayed in. Just wish it had an elevator!

It was easy checkin, young lady at counter was very nice when we got there, room was clean, quiet, comfortable bed. We didn’t stay for breakfast as we are on a time limit for this trip. But will definitely stay there again!

The room had a very strong smoke smell even though it was non smoking. Even opening the windows didn’t help. And the “breakfast” was a little lackluster. Not a lot of options and the cereals were stale. So not the best continental breakfast.

The breakfast area felt very welcoming by the staff and they ensured we take our time even though it was ending which was appreciated by our family of 5 staying at the time.

The pillows were very uncomfortable, resulting in my husband unable to move his neck for days after our visit still. We would definitely bring our own next time.

We didn’t get a mountain view unfortunately. Pet fee was a bit high, $20 per little dog per night. Breakfast only lasted until 9am on a Saturday.

Very friendly staff and very clean facility with very nice rooms. Note that the 1st floor is actually upstairs (2nd floor) with no elevator access. So if you have a lot of luggage it’ll be a bit of a chore.

Helpful staff, they aim to please & upgraded to suite room to accommodate our dog and my husband’s difficulty with stairs. One flight instead of two. Thanks so much!

The staff were great, and it was clean.

It was very hot, the small ac unit was glitchy, and no ac at all in the bedroom.
