Besonders schön war die Atmosphäre. Wunderschöne Anlage mit viel Grün, gemütliches Bungalow mit großem Bett und schöner Aussicht. Auch das Personal war super nett und zuvorkommend. Uns wurde mit Bootsfahrten, Wäscheservice etc. geholfen und das sehr zuverlässig. Ebenso das Frühstück war sehr lecker, jedoch für den ein oder anderen etwas wenig. Auch nach der angegebenen Zeit durften wir noch den Pool nutzen, super! Die Lage war toll! Etwas aus dem Trubel, jedoch immernoch sehr zentral.

Leider ist die Dusche nicht für Menschen über 1,70m gemacht, sodass man sich das eine oder andere mal den Kopf stößt. Eine recht große Enttäuschung war leider das Meer. Zwar ist es wunderschön, mit tollen Sonnenuntergängen, doch zum Schwimmen oder auch abkühlen absolut nicht geeignet. Das Wasser ist Knietief und das auch noch viele Meter weiter rein. Viele Sandbänke und zu manchen Zeiten ist das Meer noch viel weiter hinten als zu anderen.

Hotel a conduzione familiare davvero accoglienti e disponibili. L isola non ha Grab di conseguenza l hotel fornica un servizio di trasferimenti a totale scelta su tutta l isola. Piscina e asciugamani disponibili. Hotel relativamente piccolo quindi pochissima gente. Ristorante davvero buono e con prezzi accessibili. Letti puliti e lenzuola pure.

Un po cari i trasferimenti dato che si basano a lersona e non a viaggio e non essendoci Grab c’e molta speculazione sull isola. E da noleggiare la moto per girare l isola quindi è necessario la patente internazionale. Bungalow un po vecchiotti con a volte problemi dí serrature delle porte e soffioni della doccia non puliti e otturati.

Sehr freundliches Personal, sehr sauber Bungalow und Garten. Frühstück sehr gut und frisch zubereitet. Schöner Pool direkt am Strand Liegen ausreichend vorhanden. Schöner Strand , bei Ebbe sehr flaches Wasser.

Das Ressort hat uns rundum gut gefallen! Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich und ansprechbar, wir wurden sehr gut beraten, konnten Taxis und Touren über die Rezeption buchen. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Einfach ein Ort zum wohlfühlen und runterkommen. Uns hat sehr gut gefallen, dass es kein riesiges Ressort ist, sondern sehr übersichtlich. Wir empfehlen es auf jeden Fall weiter und kommen wieder!

C’était un moment exceptionnel, les bungalow sont nickel et spacieux, le personnel est très sympathique et attentionné. Les équipements sont au rendez vous pour un confort optimal. Les bungalows sont presque posé sur le sable avec un super coucher de soleil et la vue à -80 degré sur Koh Samui.

Frühstück nur Auswahl begrenzt, 1 Getränk (Kaffe, Tee oder Saft/Smoothie und 1 Essen von der Frühstückskarte zur Auswahl. Mir hat es gereicht, aber manch anderem ist das sicher zu wenig.

The beach is not great, need a scooter to visit the rest of the island

We absolutely loved Morning Star- it was exactly what we wanted- quiet, relaxing, serene and beautiful. All the staff were lovely- very friendly and welcoming and able to help with any questions, tours, transport etc. Our bungalow was spacious and comfortable, set amongst gorgeous gardens and just a few steps to the beach. Morning Star’s beach was the nicest, cleanest beach on the whole strip- they took really good care of it, raking it every day. The bar and restaurant were great- serving tasty food and drinks all day. It was the perfect start to our holiday- we were so sad to leave and would go back in a heartbeat- it was my favourite stay of the trip!

The houses are all located next to the sea, they have a good restaurant and the staff is super friendly. Wai supported us with all activities and transportation, thanks!

The swimming pool had too much chlorine in it so I could not stay in there for too long.

Das Resort ist eine wunderschöne Anlage. Schöner Pool, gepflegte Grünanlagen, direkt am Strand, kein Straßenlärm, super freundliches Personal. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Man kann in 5 -10 Minuten zu Fuß alles erreichen. Am Strand waren wenig Menschen unterwegs.

Das aller einzige, das etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist, war das Badezimmer. Dafür gab es guten Wasserdruck und sofort Warmwasser, was uns viel wichtiger war. Ansonsten gab es nichts zu meckern.

Les bungalow face a la mer, piscine très bien entretenue, le petit déjeuner excellent et le personnel très accueillant.

Attention aux horaires des marrées en fonction des mois, pour notre part, au mois de juillet 2026, impossible de se baigner sur la plage de l’hôtel, marré basse en journée.

It's in a great location, right on the beach. The rooms are large, clean and really comfortable. The staff (especially Wai) are great and always happy to help when needed and always with a beautiful smile.

Ein Bungalow, der wirklich mit allem ausgestattet ist, was man braucht. Und das Personal war super. So eine tolle Beratung für die Insel, was wir an Aktivitäten machen können.

Morning star resort is by far the best place to stay. The staff is extremely nice and very helpful. The restaurant on the resort is incredible. The food is amazing. And not to mention the views of the beach are amazing. The rooms are less than a minute walk to the sandy beaches. The rooms are also very nice with comfortable beds, a nice bathroom, and great AC.

I liked it all.

The resort has a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, surrounded by nature. It is right by the sea, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. Everything met my expectations and I felt very comfortable during my stay. If I visit Koh Phangan again, I would definitely consider staying here again.

There was nothing major that I disliked. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay.

We had an amazing stay at Morning Star Resort. The location is beautiful — right in front of the beach, with a clean and crystal-clear swimming pool and an incredible beach just a short walk from the hotel. The staff were absolutely wonderful. They helped us understand all the activities available in the area, arranged pickup services for us, assisted us in booking a full-day boat trip, and shared a lot of interesting information about the island, the local culture, and the people. Their kindness and hospitality made our experience even more special. Everything was perfect — the atmosphere, the service, the cleanliness, and the location. I highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay there again.

Lovely bungalow on the beach. Staff very happy and chatty. Room clean and tidy. Lovely pool. Beach is nice but you need shoes to go in the sea as very stoney.

Das Badezimmer muss renoviert werden, ist deutlich in die Jahre gekommen.

Le personnel était très sympa et accueillant, la proximité avec la plage et la piscine. La pression de la douche était top !

L’emplacement très isolé du centre, des restaurants,… Nombreux chiens et chats errants… donc difficile si vous avez peur..

This is a small heaven in koh phangan. The design of the garden and restaurant is traditional thai, so calm and beautiful. The room was comfortable and food was good and affordable. The staff are extremely nice and helpful with everything! Especially Wai was just great. I will be back for sure!

The location is good for the parties and kite surfing but far away from the northen area.

Nothing it was perfect

The staff were amazing! The food and drinks at the bar were all great and reasonably priced. The room was quiet and well air conditioned. It had a lovely little pool area and the bar is really well set up for relaxing.

It’s right on the beach, but we were there for low tide so couldn’t really access the ocean (not the hotels fault). It has a nice pool, but it’s super chlorinated and burns a little. It’s also really far away from most activities and from the pier. I know it says a 10 minute drive, but the shared “taxis” cost 300 baht per person for that 10 minute drive. If you want to go to any of the good sunset viewpoints in the north, expect to pay upwards of 600 baht for a one way cab going 20 minutes.

Le cadre est superbe, avec piscine en bord de mer et très calme. Le personnel est disponible, très sympathique et toujours prêt à donner de bons conseils. Les petits-déjeuners sont copieux et de bonne qualité.

Nous avions réservé un bungalow, mais nous avons été un peu déçus par la salle de bain, qui était beaucoup plus petite que sur les photos et assez abîmée (présence de rouille, éléments de la douche défectueux voire cassés, etc.). Nous en avons informé le personnel, qui a été très compréhensif et nous a rapidement proposé une autre chambre, ce que nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Nous trouvions aussi dommage que beaucoup de photos sur Booking montre un filet de volleyball, alors qu'il n'y en avait pas durant notre séjour.

Loved the kindness and helpfulness of the staff from the Wei at the reception to the bar and kitchen, amazing breakfast options comparable or better than any coffee bar including fresh fruit juices. The location is perfect to move around with a scooter from either north or south part of the island (30 mins max) and the beach of the resort is just beautiful. The hotel can arrange anything from tours to scooter rentals and ferry booking. Loved the peaceful environment and lush green of the resort.

The rooms were not very new but as an overall there was all we needed, the bed was comfortable and we had a great relaxing stay.

Very quiet area probably more suited for couples

I stayed here on the 22nd of March upon arrival everything looked nice unpacked and went for food upon return back we had 4 geckos in the room which wasn’t a big deal a minor inconvenience but there was also Ants on the bed as it was late there was nobody at reception to help so we were left to our own devices. We decided to leave and upon saying this to the man on reception early the next morning he offered us no insight into how this could be rectified and no resolution. As well as this he refused any refund as we had payed in cash even though we checked out at 9:30 am so had been in the hotel less than 15 hours and had paid for 3 nights. We did not expect a full refund but any help would have been greatly appreciated and we did not get this. If I was you staying here I would ask to see the room before paying you might just change your mind

Останавливаюсь в этом отеле уже второй раз . Это место для тех кто любит тихий и спокойный отдых. На территории отеля очень много зелени , что создает приятную атмосферу. Домики чистые и уютные . В них есть все необходимое, утром можно посидеть на личной террасе и насладиться видами . Уборка по запросу , после всегда чисто и аккуратно. Каждый день предоставляют 2 бутылки воды . Завтрак и кофе были очень вкусными . Персонал заслуживает отдельной похвалы , администратор Wai всегда был готов помочь и ответить на любой вопрос и просьбу . Расположение тоже прекрасное , рядом много ресторанов , магазин 7/11 и BigC . Я думаю этот отель семейный бизнес и владельцы любят это место и эта любовь чувствуется и передается гостям . Если бы можно было поставить 10 🌟звезд этому месту , я бы поставила все 10 .

Jako lijep i čisti smještaj. Sobe (bungalovi) su bile velike i čiste, svaka sa svojom terasom sa pogledom na vrt i bazen, a korak do mora. Doručak u ovom objektu je bio fantastičan, a osoblje uvijek nasmijano i uslužno.

The property was clean and quiet. The air conditioning units ran quietly and the beach was fabulous, white sand and a breeze. Sunsets were glorious. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. Food was good.

This is not a negative but transport is required as the location is out of town, but there are plenty of places to hire a scooter and car hire was reasonable.

Все было замечательно.Домик с видом на пляж с панорамными окнами.Уютная атмосфера.Уборка в номере.Хозяева поддерживают чистоту и порядок на территории отеля.Чистый бассейн.Лежаки есть на пляже и вокруг бассейна.В ресторане при отеля вкусная еда.Отзывчивый персонал.В такое место я бы вернулся,для меня одни плюсы,придираться ни к чему не хочется.Рекомендую.

Great hotel, right on the beach. Staff were lovely. Bed was comfortable. We had cats come to our room every night which was lovely. The staff that run it was great.

De kamer was ruim. Het uitzicht op het strand was mooi.

Het zwembad was bij troebel en groen. Niet zoals op de foto’s in de advertentie. Wij kozen er ook voor om geen gebruik te maken van het zwembad. De scooterverhuur die geregeld was vanuit het resort voelde niet goed. Een paspoort was vereist en kon geen andere optie. Ik werd opgehaald door het verhuurbedrijf en toen ik mijn paspoort niet wilde achterlaten kon ik teruglopen door de regen. Vind ik voor een samenwerking met een resort erg slecht.

Piękny ośrodek, z dostępem do pięknej, pustej plaży. Zadbany resort, czyste pokoje, cudowne miejsce. Bardzo miły personel, zarówno właściciele jaki i obsługa. Na miejsce trafiłam przypadkiem, ale to co otrzymałam przeszło najśmielsze oczekiwania. Z chęcią tu wrócę.

Tutto, bungalow in riva al mare. Ti addormento con il rumore delle onde. Staff gentilissimo e sempre con il sorriso. Ottimo per fare attività di giorno, party o qualsiasi cosa e perfetto perchè fuori quel poco che basta per avere silenzio totale e tranquillità quando si ha bisogno di staccare.
