Reviewed Sep 7, 2026The location really made this hotel for me as it is next to the intersection of the number 1 and number 2 tram lines, which meant that I could get anywhere in Kagoshima via tram. The breakfast was a buffet breakfast and was delicious, plus some of the food in the buffet changed daily, which made it even better. The Hotel room was airconditioned and had a mini fridge as well. which was a good feature for when I brough back drinks with me. The whole hotel was really clean and if you needed something it was never too much for the staff.
Nothing to comment on to be honest.

設備殘舊，管理方法也是殘舊，特別是客服方面，所有設計都是從酒店方面出發，沒有替客戶著想，我在2000年前已經有在不同日本地方住這間酒店， 後來因為調職沒有再住這邊，這次是 私人旅遊再重新試住，明白我同事們不再選擇這酒店的原因了！

Facilities and rooms are a bit dated. Hotel has a parking garage but it has limited capacity and needs to be reserved, cost is reasonable, but note that it’s being parked with an attendant and you may have to wait at busy times.

Reviewed Nov 23, 2025The hotel is in a great location within the city. easy walking distance to many attractions and across the street from the tram stop and 8min walk from airport shuttle bus stop. Very helpful staff. Rooms very clean. AC worked well. The onsen was nice after walking around all day. They sell the one and 2 day transport passes at desk. This is a business hotel mainly but there were the occasional family and tourists like ourselves staying. Very good breakfast with lots of variety and very fresh ingredients. The rooms are small but updated nicely and are functional. Tourist office 10mins walk away. Good English speakers.
There is no on-site bicycle parking but they do provide a map of city locked bicycle and motorbike parking in the area which we realised on our last day. It is Y100 per day and is covered in a building. There is a citywide effort not to have bicycles parked on footpaths and streets. The city is extremely clean and tidy and they make an effort to keep footpaths clear. Well done.
