We stayed in the little guesthouse and enjoyed a spectacular sunset from the back deck of our waterfront room.

We stayed in a cabin at the motel. We were pleasantly surprised that the cabin was actually a house! It was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed! My kids enjoyed the pool. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were very helpful and friendly!

The back door of the room opened up to a small deck, with seating overlooking the bay. The pool and the hot tub were also very nice.

Zimmer hatte Terrasse mit Meerblick, Tisch im Außenbeleuchtung. Wir haben unsere Pizza dort gegessen und die Eindrücke genossen. Hotel bietet alles, was man sich nach Zeit im wilden Labrador wünscht. Waschsalon liegt gegenüber. Extrem freundlicher Besitzer.

Great location, cottages offer nice space for families and groups of people to use as a base to explore the northern half of Gros Morne and as a stopover on route to the north.

Bedrooms in the cabin were very small, difficult to get around the bed. Very stuffy and difficult to get airflow, no air conditioning.

For an extra $20 +tax, we got a nice water view room. We are seniors and were initially put in a shitty second floor dark room, with no elevator, facing the parking lot. This was supposedly a $180/night room?

Dinner in the restaurant was horrible. Deep fried cod when the menu said pan fried, limp fries, tastleless frozen veggies. Charged over $12 for a 2x2" piece of cheesecake that was obviously some big, cheap slab cake that probably cost that much for the whole cake. The owner was really rude when we addressed this. No pool (seasonal), but hot tub and sauna should have been open. It was the second week of June. Heater in room was noisy.

Shallow Bay was such a pleasant stay on our trip! The ladies behind the counter were amazing - so friendly and kind, and it was awesome having restaurants on property. The beds were the most comfortable of all of the places we stayed, and parking was never an issue. Having access to a sauna was a nice bonus!

The pool and hot tub were not yet open during our stay which wasn't apparent when we booked.

Our room was right on the shore. we could see ducks and swallows form the window. The hotel was directly across from the theatre where we had tickets for an evening of "down home music" The staff tried to find a solution for the low toilet which my arthritic knees can not manage. They did not succeed but were very cordial.

The rooms were large a spacious. It is located next to the theatre for those attending the festival. The rooms are well equipped and warm.

Coffee was an extra charge with the breakfast order. Felt it should have been included. Rooms seemed like they were dark, could have used more lighting overall.

J’avais une très jolie vue et un accès extérieur vers l’eau.

Nous devions utiliser de l’eau bouillie mais pas de bouilloire dans la chambre. Donc on nous donnait un contenant d’eau en plastique mou…

Le propriétaire est ultra sympathique! Il a tout organisé pour qu’on puisse visionner le match de hockey dans le bar, il s’est assuré qu’on ait de quoi manger comme nous sommes arrivés tard. La vue de la chambre sur le Golfe, incroyable! Le couché de soleil, splendide. Lits confortables, tout ce qu’il faut pour être bien!

Rien! Seul point, si vous venez pour le parc de Gros Morne, vérifiez dans quelle zone du parc se trouvent vos randonnées, car il peut y avoir jusqu’à 1h30 de route. Le Motel est près de la partie nord.

Darel was very helpful in giving us information around gros morne national park and welcoming to us to the motel! The place has an ocean view and close to the places we want to see.

The cabin we stayed in was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. The restaurant’s sea views and tasty food were a plus, and the pub was perfect for evening drinks. Staff were super friendly! Highly recommend.

We had a 2 bedroom cottage. The beds were good, kitchen well stocked.

The place was slightly dated. I would have liked a better sitting area at the front of our cottage.

The location was ideal break in our dash to the vikings. Food was good. The big bonus was the view of the of st laurence from our window. I had left a sweatshirt behind. They found it and we enjoyed a further meal. Seafood has been excellent everywhere.
